Rydman, Karolina, Svensson, Maja January 2010 (has links)
Resultatet presenteras i fem olika teman.

Lindahl, Jenny January 2013 (has links)

Smolle, Sofia January 2016 (has links)
Nyckelord:

Framgångsfaktorer och hinder för samverkan och informationsutbyte gällande föräldrars drogproblematik : En intervjustudie med socialsekreterare och poliser / Success factors and barriers to collaboration and information exchange related to parental substance abuse : An interview study with social workers and police officers

Mattsson, Lisa, Tiverman, Olivia January 2024 (has links)
A study revealed a knowledge gap regarding collaboration between social workers in child and family services and police officers. The aim was to investigate the obstacles and success factors in collaboration and information exchange that social workers and police officers experience in cases involving parental substance abuse. The method used was a qualitative interview study involving four social workers and four police officers who were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. The results were analyzed using thematic analysis and linked to previous research and a systems theory perspective. Findings indicate that collaboration is largely constrained by confidentiality issues and differing objectives. Good relationships and trust are seen as a success factor for information exchange, while a lack of knowledge about each other's professions is identified as a barrier. From a systems perspective, collaboration is influenced by all three systems: micro, meso, and macro.

The work situation within the unit children and family : A qualitative study of unit managers importance for social workers in the Unit Children and Family

Lindholm, Lina, Juteström, Moa January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of the study was through qualitative interviews get a greater understanding of potential difficulties that unit managers perceive in the working situation within the unit children and family, examine the unit managers work with their staff, and what conditions the unit managers feel are necessary for a sustainable working environment for social workers, within the unit children and family. We chose to use a semi structured interview manual during our interviews. The result showed that the work situation within the unit children and family was highly loaded and complex, a major difficulty to recruit staff and for low wages for work performed. The result showed that the unit managers who felt that they had a well-functioning working situation had less staff groups, tutoring each week and were close to its staff. The result also showed that the unit managers advocated the importance of leadership to create and maintain a sustainable work situation for their staff.

If you take my children I will kill you” : A qualitative study about social service workers' experience of threats and violence from clients

Karlsson, Moa, Eriksson, Rebecca January 2021 (has links)
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how social workers experience and understand threats and violence aimed towards them in their profession as well as what factors increase and decrease their motivation to report threats and violence from clients in order to conspire to a better work environment for social workers.   Method: The empirical material of this study was collected through semi-structured interviews  with six social workers within child protective service in Sweden.   Theory: The theories used to analyze the empirical material has been Berger and Luckmanns theory about social construction and Lundgrens theory about the normalization process.   Results: The results showed that all six social workers had experienced threats or violence from clients at some point. Our results also indicate that social workers normalize threats and violence from their clients. The normalization may be a result of the mentality that threats and violence is a part of the job which is present among social workers. Another finding was that the social workers propensity to report threats or violence depended on the relationship to the client. If they had a long and good relationship the propensity to report decreased.

Andersson, Emma, Sjölin, Torbjörn January 2017 (has links)
Title:” Now I took his child, what will he do with mine?” A qualitative study on threat and violence aimed at social workers within child protective service. Authors:  Emma Andersson and Torbjörn Sjölin. Supervisor:  Peter Hultgren. Assessor: Barzoo Eliassi. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how social workers within child protective service understand and experience threat and violence aimed at them in their profession and how these understandings and experiences affects their well-being. The study will provide an understanding of the subject at hand and can also lead way for new research areas of how to improve the well-being of social workers within this field.   Method: A qualitative approach based on semistructured interviews has been used as method in this study. To collect empirical material seven currently working social workers from three different municipalities in the same region were interviewed. Theory: The theoretical points of this thesis has been Berger and Luckmanns theories about social construction, theory of social cognition and a model produced in the writing of how interaction between experience and understanding affects the well-being. The different theories and approaches has been a valuable tool to analyze the empirical material gathered in the study. Results: The result of this study is divided in different themes based on the purpose of the study. Our results indicate that social worker within child protective service consider threat and violence as occurring within their profession and that this perception has a negative impact on their well-being. Even though social workers consider threat and violence as not acceptable at work and perceive threat as a part of their job they continue to fulfill their obligations at work. The main explanation, found in this study, is that they consider the well-being of children as higher valued than their own.

Samverkan inom socialtjänsten : Socionomers syn på barnets bästa / Collaboration in Social Services : Social Workers View on the Best Interest of the Child

Rahman, Rimita, Ognenovska, Monika January 2022 (has links)
The aim of this study was to investigate how the best interest of the child was considered and reasoned with in cases where one parent has been using violence against the other parent and child has been exposed to this. The focus of our study was to see how the different units in social services cooperate for the best interest of the child and also how they reason their own assessment in these cases. The empirical data of this study consists of 8 qualitative interviews with social workers in family law or child protection services. We have chosen to base our study with three scientific theories, which are: collaboration theory, interorganizational organization theory and the theory of professions. The outcome of this study has been coded and themed in diverse steps to pinpoint the fundamental categories. These categories are: factors of importance in collaboration and factors that affect what is considered to be the best interest of the child. Based on our results and the empirical data studied, we have drawn a conclusion that there are many different and complex factors that can influence the decision making of a child's contact with an abusive parent. The interpretation and collaboration can be influenced by different factors such as the goals and purpose of the unit. It can be stated through our study that there is a positive view of collaboration between family law and child protection services. However, it can also be stated that the collaboration does not occur to the same extent as one would have liked within the units and that this could be due to various factors. We have also noticed that there has not been a lot of research on our topic regarding the interaction between family law and child protection services, especially regarding cases of violence. There is a need for more research regarding an internal collaboration within the social services that can be implemented as there are shortcomings in practice that have emerged in our study. We believe that the social workers in the social services and the families in question would have benefited from a more comprehensive research on how to interact with each other for the best interests of the child.
