Honor-related violence and oppression are societal issues that are relevant to social work. However, it is an under-researched area with a lack of knowledge, especially regarding boys and young men in an honor context. The existing research primarily focuses on girls and women. The aim of this study was to describe the content of public publications regarding social work on honor-related violence and oppression in relation to boys and young men. The focus was to examine how boys and young men in an honor context are described as both victims and perpetrators. In addition to that, the study also aimed to investigate the interventions available for this target group. Thematic content analysis was used to address the research questions and objectives by analyzing and thematizing the content of public publications. The findings of this study indicate that boys and young men exist in dual roles as both victims and perpetrators, but more emphasis is often placed on their role as perpetrators rather than victims, as girls' and women's victimization is considered more extensive. Furthermore, the study suggests that there are few interventions specifically targeted at boys and young men living in an honor context. The available interventions mainly focus on victims. The results have been analyzed using power theory and street-levelbureaucracy theory. The analysis demonstrates that power is a central aspect in both an honor context and the practice of social work, and that the structure of street-level bureaucracy affects work with this target group. Therefore, this study concludes that more knowledge and work are needed regarding boys and young men in an honor context.

En el presente informe se analizan los aspectos más relevantes del proceso de
impugnación de despido fraudulento iniciado por el señor Williams Guerra Rodriguez
(en adelante, “el señor Guerra Rodríguez” o “el trabajador”) contra Tiendas por
Departamento Ripley (en adelante, “RIPLEY”). En particular, si es válido despedir a un
trabajador imputándole la falta grave de injuria y faltamiento de palabra por comentarios
que realizó en perfiles públicos de Facebook. Aterrizando este aspecto en el caso en
concreto, los principales problemas jurídicos que se buscan absolver son si el señor
Williams Guerra Rodriguez incurrió en la mencionada falta grave y, si los hechos que
realizó configuraban un delito contra el honor. Teniendo en cuenta lo expuesto, tras la
revisión y estudio de las normas laborales y penales vigentes así como la jurisprudencia
emitida en estas materias, se llegó a la conclusión de que: (i) el despido del trabajador
es válido porque efectuó comentarios injuriantes y ofensivos contra representantes y
trabajadores de la Empresa, así como su empleador; y, (ii) que por el contenido ofensivo
de los comentarios que difundió en el medio de comunicación social Facebook, el
trabajador incurrió en el delito de difamación agravada.

Hedersrelaterat våld och förtryck är ett omfattande samhällsproblem som Socialtjänsten behöver hantera. Det kännetecknas med stor komplexitet som kräver djupare förståelse av problematiken för att kunna erbjuda relevanta insatser. Det vanligaste beslutet hos Socialtjänsten vid ärenden som är kopplat till hedersrelaterat våld är att individen ska erbjudas skyddat boende för att bli av med våldet direkt. I detta examensarbete undersöks personalens perspektiv på insatsen skyddat boende. Syftet är att belysas skyddat boendes personal erfarenheter och upplevelser av klienter som var utsatta för hedersförtryck. Examensarbetet utgår från tre punkter – den första är personalens uppfattning av hedersproblematiken och skyddade boende. Den andra är fördelarna och nackdelarna med en placering på skyddat boende och sista är samarbetet mellan Socialtjänsten och skyddade boendet. Resultatet visar att personalen har betydande kunskap om hedersproblematiken vilket möjliggör ett individuellt förhållningssätt till att arbeta med klienterna. Vidare pekar resultatet på att personalen identifierar fördelarna samt nackdelarna som uppstår för klienterna på skyddat boende. Sist konstateras ett bra samarbete mellan personalen och Socialtjänsten dock finns det flera områden som kräver förbättring och utveckling. Genomförandet av examensarbetet sker med hjälp av flera teorier, till exempel gräsrotsbyråkratens teori, intersektionalitets teorin, teorin om kön och genus samt teorin om makt. / Honor-related violence and oppression is an extensive social problem that Social Services needs to deal with. It is characterized by great complexity that requires a deep understanding of the problem in order to offer relevant interventions. The most common decision by the Social Services in cases connected to honor-related violence is that the individual is offered sheltered accommodation in order to get rid of the violence immediately. In this degree project, the staff's perspective on the sheltered housing initiative is examined. The aim is to shed light on the experience of protected accommodation staff and the experience of clients who were exposed to honor oppression. The thesis is based on three points - the first is the staff's perception of the honor problem and sheltered accommodation. The second is the advantages and disadvantages of placement in sheltered housing and the last is the cooperation between Social Services and the sheltered housing. The result shows that the staff has significant knowledge of the honor problem, which enables an individual approach to working with the clients. Furthermore, the results indicate that the staff identify the advantages and disadvantages that arise for the clients in the sheltered accommodation. Finally, there is good cooperation between the staff and Social Services, however, there are several areas that require improvement and development. The completion of degree work is done with the help of several theories, for example the theory of grassroots bureaucrats, the theory of intersectionality, the theory of sex and gender and the theory of power.

El presente informe es acerca del expediente de relevancia jurídica E-2650 con
contenido en materia penal-laboral, en el que radica su importancia en la
investigación y estudio de la “injuria” como acto causal de falta grave con
consecuencia de despido, de acuerdo a la legislación laboral; y como acto
causal de sanción penal. Asimismo, se analiza la relevancia de las redes
sociales como un medio de comunicación el cual se pueda utilizar para lesionar
el derecho al honor, en un contexto social en el que las relaciones digitales se
abren paso dentro de un vacío jurisprudencial para dicho tipos de casos. Por lo
tanto, el objetivo del presente informe radica en desarrollar los derechos que se
presentan a lo largo del proceso, tales como: derecho al honor, derecho a la
debida motivación de las resoluciones judiciales, derecho a un debido proceso
y todo lo que ello implica; de manera que pueda resolverse el problema
principal que concierne al caso el cual es: si se puede configurar como falta
grave laboral las publicaciones “injuriantes” que se realicen a través de las
redes sociales. Llegando finalmente a concluir que en el presente caso sí se
habría configurado la falta grave laboral por parte de demandante, vulnerando
el derecho al honor de las personas, al haber injuriado de forma agravante a
los directivos de RIPLEY, siendo Facebook un medio de comunicación masivo.
Asimismo, se tiene en consideración el derecho penal como de ultima ratio y el
derecho que dictará los lineamientos sobre conceptos jurídicos que puedan
contener otras ramas del derecho por la importante razón de proteger intereses
jurídicos de interés público.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito analizar de qué modo se puede
determinar la proporcionalidad del despido como límite a la libertad de expresión en el caso de
los trabajadores sindicalizados, a propósito de la aplicación de la causal de despido justificado
por falta grave contenida en el artículo 25 literal f) de la Ley de Productividad y Competitividad
Laboral (en adelante, “LPCL”) por comentarios o publicaciones realizadas en redes sociales.
Como resultado de tal estudio, se llegará a la conclusión de que, en el caso antes expuesto, será
necesario la aplicación de un test de ponderación que permita valorar la idoneidad, necesidad
y proporcionalidad del despido para restringir la libertad de expresión de trabajadores
sindicalizados y garantizar la protección del derecho al honor del empleador, sus
representantes, personal jerárquico o de otros trabajadores.
No obstante, antes de llegar a dicho análisis, y dado que el caso estudiado presenta como
contexto la realización de comentarios presuntamente injuriantes en redes sociales, se tendrá
que determinar, previamente, si existe o no afectación al derecho a la intimidad de los
trabajadores al utilizar el contenido subido a redes sociales como sustento de un despido. Ello
nos llevará a analizar los límites de la facultad fiscalizadora del empleador en el ámbito de las
redes sociales. Posteriormente realizaremos un análisis del derecho a la libertad de expresión,
como se desarrolla en el ámbito de las relaciones colectivas de trabajo y qué limites presenta.
Finalmente, realizaremos un test de ponderación considerando los hechos de la Laboral N°
19856-2016-Lima Este, analizando la idoneidad, la necesidad y proporcionalidad del despido
como límite al derecho a la libertad de expresión de los trabajadores sindicalizados. En dicho
análisis tomaremos en cuenta también el ámbito de protección del derecho al honor a efectos
de determinar si existió o no, en el caso, un uso ilegítimo del derecho a la libertad de expresión. / The purpose of this research work is to analyze how the proportionality of dismissal can be
determined as a limit to freedom of expression in the case of unionized workers, regarding the
application of the grounds for dismissal justified by serious misconduct contained in article 25
literal f) of the Labor Productivity and Competitiveness Law (hereinafter, “LPCL”) for
comments or publications made on social networks.
As a result of such a study, it will be concluded that, in the aforementioned case, it will be
necessary to apply a weighting test that allows assessing the suitability, necessity and
proportionality of the dismissal to restrict the freedom of expression of unionized workers and
guarantee the protection of the right to honor of the employer, its representatives, hierarchical
personnel or other workers.
However, before reaching said analysis, and given that the case studied presents as a context
the making of presumably insulting comments on social networks, it will have to be
determined, previously, whether or not there is an infringement of the right to privacy of
workers at the use the content uploaded to social networks as support for a dismissal. This will
lead us to analyze the limits of the supervisory power of the employer in the field of social
networks. Later we will carry out an analysis of the right to freedom of expression, how it is
developed in the field of collective labor relations and what limits it presents.
Finally, we will carry out a weighting test considering the facts of Labor N° 19856-2016-Lima
Este, analyzing the suitability, necessity and proportionality of dismissal as a limit to the right
to freedom of expression of unionized workers. In said analysis we will also take into account
the scope of protection of the right to honor in order to determine whether or not there was, in
the case, an illegitimate use of the right to freedom of expression.

Syftet med den här kvalitativa studien har varit att undersöka hur socialsekreterare upplevermöjligheten till familjebehandling i familjer där hedersrelaterat våld och förtryck (HRV)förekommer. Halvstrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med yrkesverksammasocialsekreterare eller socionomer, som under de fem senaste åren arbetat somsocialsekreterare. Studiens teoretiska ram bestod av begreppen orientalism, essentialism,konstruktivism och ett intersektionellt perspektiv. Resultatet visar att socialsekreterarnaupplever möjligheten till familjebehandling, i dessa kontexter, som begränsad.Intervjupersonerna beskriver arbetet som komplext där ett förändringsarbete sällan är möjligt,då hedersnormer och kultur beskrivs vara djupt rotade och svåra att förändra.Familjebehandling beskrivs även som en kompletterande insats till mer omfattande insatsersåsom placering utanför hemmet, och anses därför i de flesta fall inte fungera som en isoleradinsats. Utifrån intervjupersonernas beskrivningar kan det tolkas som att synen består av attdet ofta handlar om grovt våld och förtryck, vilket motiverar omfattande och ingripandeåtgärder. En annan faktor till den begränsade möjligheten att bevilja familjebehandling kanutifrån intervjuerna, förstås vara en brist på kunskap och insatser riktade mot dessa familjer.För att motverka HRV kan det utifrån intervjupersonernas utsagor, förstås viktigt att arbetamed förebyggande insatser för att bryta den isolering många familjer upplever. / The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine how social workers perceive thepossibility of family treatment in families experiencing honor-based violence and oppression(HBV). Semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers, or social workerswho have worked in the field within the past five years. The theoretical framework of thestudy included orientalism, essentialism, constructivism and an intersectional perspective.The results show that social workers perceive the possibility of family treatment in thesecontexts as limited. The interviewees describe the work as complex, where bringing aboutchange is rarely possible as honor-norms and culture are described as deeply rooted anddifficult to alter. Family treatment is also understood as a complementary intervention tomore comprehensive measures such as out-of-home placement and is therefore generally notconsidered effective as a standalone intervention. Based on the interviewees’ descriptions,there is often a motivation to implement more comprehensive and interventionist measuresdue to the severity of the violence and oppression. Another factor contributing to the limitedpossibility of approving family therapy, could be a lack of knowledge and targetedinterventions for these families. To counter HBV, it is important to work on preventivemeasures to break the isolation experienced by families.

[pt] As manifestações de pensamento e opinião passaram a ocorrer de
forma mais intensa após o advento da internet, considerando que qualquer
pessoa conectada à rede pode realizar uma publicação de mensagem e esta
ter difusão e amplitude antes inimaginável - como, por exemplo, enviar um
conteúdo para uma ou mais pessoas que estão do outro lado do
mundo em tempo real e essa publicação ter visualizações na casa dos
milhões. A própria relação empregatícia está sendo impactada nesse aspecto.
O direito à liberdade de expressão passou a ser invocado de maneira
recorrente por empregados que têm sofrido represálias decorrentes de
manifestações na internet. Por outro lado, os empregadores têm como
principal respaldo legal para justificar suas atitudes o argumento que essas
manifestações lesam sua honra, e, com base no artigo 482, alínea K, da
Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho (1943), que expressamente prevê que
constitui motivo suficiente para justa causa ato lesivo da honra ou da boa
fama ou ofensas físicas praticadas contra o empregador e superiores
hierárquicos (...), aplicam a justa causa. Portanto, há claramente colisão de
dois direitos garantidos constitucionalmente em uma relação marcada pela
subordinação jurídica do empregado ao empregador em virtude do contrato
de trabalho. Desse modo, torna-se fundamental entender o que determina a
preponderância de um ou outro direito quando estão em colisão, pois a
consequência da manifestação neste caso pode ser bem mais gravosa que se
fosse feita em uma relação entre comuns: o empregado pode ser dispensado
por justa causa, o que elimina não somente o seu sustento a curto prazo, mas
também uma série de direitos trabalhistas. Para compreender essa colisão,

Therefore, clearly there is a collision of two constitutional rights in a relationship marked by the legal subordination of the employee to the employer by employment contract. The aim of this study is to examine how offenders of honor-related violence are portrayed in Swedish prison and probation service educational materials. The thesis is based on critical work as a theoretical frame and intigrated discourse analysis is used as a method. Our method assisted in identifying three distinct discourses. A recurring cultural discourse culturalises the offending, wich was also evident in the privious research. Additionally, the offenders are portayed within a social psychology discourse, in wich migration causes them to lose authority and leading them to resort to violence. Lastly, we were also able to identify a psychopathological discourse. While these findings indicate different representations of the violence, its causes and its offenders, we show that culturalisation of the offender runs as a main thread throughout the material. / Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur kriminalvårdens kunskapsmaterial framställer förövare inom HRVF. Utgångspunkten för analysen är det kritiska sociala arbetet som teori och en integrerad diskursanalys som metod. Med hjälp av vår ansats så identifierades tre olika diskurser. Förövaren framställdes ständigt ur en kulturell diskurs vilket också var tydligt i den tidigare forskningen. Förövaren beskrivs också ur en socialpsykologisk diskurs där hen förlorar makt i och med migrationen och därav utövar våld. Till sist kunde vi också urskilja hur förövaren framställs ur en psykopatologisk diskurs där hen beskrivs ha psykopatiska drag. Även om dessa fynd visar på olika representationer av våldet, dess orsaker och dess förövare, visar vi att kulturalisering av förövaren löper som en röd tråd genom materialet.
