[pt] Repetência refere-se à prática escolar de reter, em uma determinada série, estudantes que em geral não alcançaram o rendimento desejado ao final de um ano letivo. O objetivo desta prática seria corrigir possíveis falhas na aprendizagem ou adequar situações de imaturidade do aluno. No contexto do debate sobre as vantagens e desvantagens desta medida, a dissertação busca verificar os efeitos da repetência no desempenho dos estudantes nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental que participaram do Projeto Geres entre 2005 e 2008. Ao longo da pesquisa busca-se compreender: 1) se os alunos que passaram pela experiência de repetência, mesmo ao custo de um ano extra de escolarização, apresentaram ganhos reais de proficiência que justifiquem a utilização de tal medida; 2) no caso de ter havido ganhos reais em aprendizagem, se esses ganhos se mantém ao longo dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Para tentar responder a estas perguntas, foi desenvolvido um estudo observacional que compara dois grupos de alunos, repetentes e promovidos, pareados através de matching, e analisa o impacto da repetência nas medidas de proficiência em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática desses grupos de alunos em diferentes momentos da sua trajetória escolar. Corroborando com diversas pesquisas sobre os efeitos da repetência, os resultados mostram que os alunos repetentes progridem menos que os alunos promovidos ao longo do tempo. Quando comparados em uma mesma série, independente do ano letivo em que a cursaram, os repetentes se saem melhor, embora o efeito em Língua Portuguesa se perca ao longo das séries. / [en] Repetition refers to the school practice of holding back, in a given grade, students that generally did not achieve the desired performance at the end of a school year. This practice has the goal to correct possible flaws in learning or adjust to situations of immaturity of the student. In the context of the debate about the advantages and disadvantages of this practice, this dissertation intends to verify the effects of failure on the student’s performance during the initial years of Elementary School. Those students took part in the Longitudinal Study of School Generation 2005 (Geres Project) from 2005 to 2008. Throughout the research the study aims to comprehend: [1] If the students that experience failure, even at the cost of an extra year of schooling, presented real gains of proficiency that justify the use of such measure; [2] in the case of real gains in learning, do this gains maintain during the initial years of the Elementary School? To try to answer these questions, a observational study was developed that compare two pupils groups, the ones who failed and the ones who got promoted, paired up through matching, and analyze the failure impact on the proficiency level in Reading and Mathematics from these groups of students in different moments of their school trajectory. Corroborating with several researches on the failure effects, the results show that the students who failed improve less than the students who were promoted along the years. When comparated in the same grade, regardless from the school grade that they have attended, the students who failed have better results, although the effect in Reading gets lost along the school grades.

Dessa har varit styrda av ekonomiska och politiska skäl men också för att kunna möta det förändrade omvärldsläget. Mitt i dessa förändringar befinner sig Försvarsmaktens personal. Denna studie fokuserar på de officerare inom Försvarsmakten vilka trots omorganisationer och förändringar av verksamheten jobbar kvar inom myndigheten. Den av oss identifierade tidigare forskningen rörande Försvarsmaktens personal fokuserar främst på de som lämnat sin anställning inom myndigheten.Försvarsmakten påtalar ofta att personalen är dess främsta resurs, vilket blir syftet med denna studie. Att öka förståelsen för faktorer bakom personalens trivsel och motivation, för att därmed kunna behålla de som redan finns inom myndigheten.Studien är genomförd som en kvalitativ induktiv undersökning med ett urval av respondenter från tre av Försvarsmaktens organisationsenheter. Trots dessa olika organisationsenheters skilda verksamhetsområden, identifieras likheter av faktorer som bidrar till att de uppskattar och motiveras av sin anställning inom Försvarsmakten.Kommunikation, relation, uppfyllelse samt variation är de fyra övergripande teman som studien har identifierat.Studien gör inte anspråk på att placera dessa i någon hierarkisk ordning, där någon betyder mer än någon annan. Däremot kan det konstateras att de varierar över tiden för enskilda individer, vilket därmed betyder att de är av olika vikt för individen beroende på var individen befinner sig i sin livssituation. Previous issue date: 2009-08-06 / The study s main purpose is to analyze the fine included in the Brazilian
rules by the law nº 11.232/05 which, in a reasonable period of time, became
an object of great controversy in the course of doctrinal and jurisprudential
plans and regarding some attainments aspects. The point, therefore, was to
sketch one methodology analysis of this new modality of form sanction in
order to insert it in the Brazilian s context of procedural law without
attacking, however, the jurists principles and guarantees, especially the
ones of constitutional level. In addition, the necessity to extract of the
institute s maximum possible effectiveness was not forgotten. In
consequence, were studied since the most basic requirements so that duty
application could have been cogitated until its more specific elements.
Of this systemize study, conclusions had emerged on the incidence or not
of the related penalty to the situations, until then, little explored by the
doctrine and of rare verification in the national courts.
It mentioned, also, amongst other peculiar characteristics of this fine, the
purpose to confer more authority to the sentences that condemn to the
payment of certain amount, in the measure where the debtor will count on a

para pagamento de quantia certa inserida no ordenamento jurídico
processual brasileiro pela lei n.° 11.232/05 que, em pouco tempo,
conseguiu ser objeto de grande controvérsia no plano doutrinário e
jurisprudencial a respeito de vários aspectos a ela atinentes. Procurou-se,
assim, traçar uma análise metodológica desta nova modalidade de sanção
de forma a inseri-la no contexto do direito processual brasileiro sem
agredir, contudo, os princípios e garantias dos jurisdicionados,
especialmente os de nível constitucional. Não se deixou de lado a
necessidade de extrair do instituto o máximo de efetividade possível.
Assim, foram estudados desde os requisitos mais básicos para que se possa
cogitar a aplicação desta sanção até os seus elementos mais específicos.
Deste estudo sistematizado, emergiram conclusões sobre a incidência ou
não da referida penalidade a situações, até então, pouco exploradas pela
doutrina e de rara verificação nos tribunais nacionais.
Ressaltou, também, dentre outras características peculiares desta multa, a
finalidade de conferir mais autoridade às decisões judiciais que condenam
ao pagamento de quantia certa, na medida em que o devedor contará com

Este estudo tem por objeto a efetivação dos direitos sociais por meio da atuação preventiva do Poder Público. Os direitos sociais fazem parte dos direitos fundamentais, posições jurídicas de suma relevância no ordenamento jurídico, objetivando à concretização da dignidade humana. Os direitos sociais são direitos fundamentais referentes à concretização da justiça social por meio da transformação das estruturas sociais e, por isso, sua não observância ou violação representa sério desrespeito aos princípios fundantes do Estado Democrático de Direito. Atualmente, os mecanismos jurídicos existentes, de forma geral, priorizam a atuação repressiva do Estado. Logo, a atuação em defesa dos direitos sociais (deveres de proteção do Estado), normalmente, acontece posteriormente à não observância ou violação do direito. O presente estudo, então, propõe a atuação preventiva do Poder Público para a efetivação de direitos sociais, considerando-se que esta forma de atuação pode ser uma forma de concretização de direitos fundamentais, pois visa a evitar o desrespeito a tais direitos, sendo, por via oblíqua, uma forma de sua efetivação. Nesse sentido, defende-se a utilização de instrumentos jurídicos de caráter preventivo existentes no âmbito do Direito Ambiental para a tutela de direitos sociais, mais especificamente, do licenciamento ambiental, que, no caso seria chamado de licenciamento social para os casos de instalação de indústrias. / The aim of this study is the fulfillment of social rights through preventive action of the Government. Social rights are part of fundamental rights, legal positions of utmost relevance in the legal system, aiming the achievement of human dignity. Social rights are fundamental rights relating to the achievement of social justice through the transformation of social structures and, therefore, your non-compliance or violation represents serious disrespect to the founding principles of the Democratic State of Law. Currently, the existing legal mechanisms, in general, prioritize the repressive actions of the state. Therefore, the acting in defense of social rights (state duties of protection) usually happens after the non-compliance or violation of right. Then, this study proposes the preventive action of the Government for the realization of social rights, considering that this mode of working can be an achievement of fundamental rights, because it aims to prevent disrespect of such rights, and, aslant, a form of its implementation. In this sense, advocates the use of legal instruments of preventive character existing under Environmental Law for the protection of social rights, more specifically, the environmental licensing, which in this case would be called social licensing for cases of installation of industries.

Through quantitative analysis and inferring a possible relationship between experience of inclusion and happiness at work, this study was designed to answer the following research problem: What is the relationship between experience of inclusion and happiness at work? The general objective was to examine the relationship between experience of inclusion and happiness at work. The specific objectives were analyze if the experience of inclusion has greater impact on eudemonic aspects of happiness than on hedonic aspects, and analyze if the experience of inclusion and happiness at work differ by sex, race/color, age, religion, sexual orientation, hierarchical level, salary range and time in the working group. To achieve the proposed objectives, two questionnaires were used: the Scale of Experience of Inclusion and the Scale of Well-Being at Work. For research purposes, two samples were collected, and by descriptive statistics, linear regression and analysis of variance, the results were achieved. There was a moderate correlation between experience of inclusion and the factors of positive affect and realization/expressiveness, and moderate negative correlation between experience of inclusion and the negative affect. Moreover, the importance of individual and environmental characteristics for individuals fell more included and happier at work was observed. This study sought to contribute to the advancement of the concept of inclusion, in that it sought to clarify the role of the variable happiness at work in the theoretical model of the experience of inclusion. It also enabled contribute to the importance of promoting inclusion in the workplace so that there is happiness, since the latter concept, according some studies, appear to be antecedent of the performance and effectiveness in organizations. / Os temas felicidade e inclusão tem se tornado extremamente preciosos em uma sociedade heterogênea como o Brasil. Por meio de análises quantitativas e inferindo uma possível relação entre experiência de inclusão e a felicidade no trabalho, este estudo propôs-se a responder o seguinte problema de pesquisa: Qual é a relação existente entre Experiência de Inclusão e Felicidade no Trabalho? Teve por objetivo geral analisar a relação entre Experiência de Inclusão e Felicidade no Trabalho. Apresentou, por objetivos específicos, analisar se a experiência de inclusão tem maior impacto sobre os aspectos eudaimônicos da felicidade do que sobre os aspectos hedônicos, e analisar se a experiência de inclusão e felicidade no trabalho diferem por sexo, raça/cor, idade, religião, orientação sexual, nível hierárquico, faixa salarial e tempo no grupo de trabalho. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, foram utilizados dois questionários: a Escala de Experiência de Inclusão e a Escala de Bem-Estar no Trabalho. Para o estudo realizado, foram utilizadas duas amostras e, por meio de estatística descritiva, regressão linear simples e análises de variância, os resultados foram alcançados. Houve correlação positiva moderada entre experiência de inclusão e os fatores afeto positivo e realização/expressividade, e correlação negativa moderada entre experiência de inclusão e afeto negativo. Além disso, foi observada a importância de características individuais e ambientais para os indivíduos sentirem-se mais incluídos e serem mais felizes no ambiente de trabalho. Este estudo procurou contribuir para o avanço do conceito de inclusão, na medida em que procurou explicitar o papel da variável felicidade no trabalho no modelo teórico da experiência de inclusão. Além disso, permitiu contribuir na identificação da importância de promoção de inclusão no ambiente de trabalho para que haja felicidade, uma vez que este último conceito, segundo alguns estudos, parece ser antecedente ao desempenho e efetividade nas organizações.

Title: Development of Czech Floorball between years 2007 and 2018 Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to create a development plan of Czech floorball for the years 2020 to 2030. The partial goal is to analyze the re- course of this plan; the supporting goal is to evaluate the development plans from year 2008 to 2018. Methods: This thesis performs analyses of data from internal and external envi- ronment, material, financial, personal and intangible resources, using PESTLE and situation analysis. The analyses are applied on data col- lected from primary and secondary resources. Evaluation of the development plan for the reviewed period is per- formed using the method of weighted averages of fulfilled partial goals. Results: The offered development plan for the years 2020 to 2030 includes 134 individual goals. 49 partial goals were not modified; parameters for evaluation were suggested in 34 goals; 22 goals were modified or clarified; 29 goals were added. Overall, 63 % of the development plan was modified. According to overall weighted average, at 76 %, Development and youth is the most successfully fulfilled area. Expanding the science of successful aging: Older adults living in continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs)Petrossi, Kathryn H 25 July 2005 (has links)
Rowe and Kahns theory of successful aging identifies three main components of aging successfully: reducing the risk of disease and disability, maintaining high cognitive and physical function, and engagement with life. While there is compelling evidence that suggests the legitimacy of this concept in the 50-75 year old community dwelling population, three areas of expansion are necessary: 1.) programmatic research; 2.) extending the existing research samples to include older samples and those living in continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs); and 3.) the integration of data collection and analysis to move beyond investigation of just one successful aging outcome to include elements of all three components of successful aging. Longitudinal analysis utilizing hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) was conducted on a convenience sample of 136 older adults (mean age = 80.8 years at baseline) participating in a pilot community-wide successful aging program over a 26-month period. Results indicate the sample reported exercising frequently, ate recommended levels of fruits and vegetables, had healthy BMIs, had positive ratings of health, were highly involved in productive activities, and were satisfied with their ability to give and receive social support at baseline. High levels of mobility were measured in the sample. Participants maintained this picture of successful aging over time for the majority of outcome variables, though significant declines in self-reported health were observed. Participants also reported improvements in their satisfaction with receiving social support. Results support four major conclusions: 1.) The three criteria of successful aging identified by Rowe and Kahn (1997) were observed among older adults living in CCRCs who were enrolled in a successful aging program. 2.) Stability was observed on a number of the outcomes over 26 months in this convenience sample, which has implications for intervention/programmatic research. Despite the traditional improvement-oriented focus of programmatic research, stability or maintenance of well-being over time should be viewed as a positive outcome in older age, particularly when compared to national data depicting trends of decline. 3.) The interdependence of current results support the notion that successful aging programming needs to include multi-disciplinary intervention strategies, as supported by the finding that modifiers of physical, social, and intellectual well-being include constructs from each of the components of successful aging. 4.) Participants of the current study were largely in the precontemplation and contemplation stages of change. Readiness to change needs to be factored into the design of any successful aging program, as the Transtheoretical Model could be a powerful tool for the identification of readiness to change and the development of appropriate and effective successful aging programming.

The construction industry is a business with an intense flow of both material and information that require well-functioning logistics in order to not suffer from unnecessarily high costs. Suppliers play a big part regarding the costs of the distribution and handling of material and due to this a construction project’s costs are affected a great deal by the suppliers’ actions. Spinnrocken is a construction project in the town center of Norrköping. The real estate company Fastighets AB L E Lundbergs is the client and the construction company Skanska is contracted as sole constructor for the project. Spinnrocken is planned to be finalized in the summer of 2014 and consists of several rental-apartments and some smaller businesses. Spinnrocken and its central location result in major logistic challenges, because of this Lundbergs and Skanska want to analyze and evaluate the project’s logistic performance. The main purpose of this thesis is to measure the order fulfillment of interior materials, the scaffold material Doka and windows at Spinnrocken by using the so-called perfect order fulfillment measure, as defined in Supply Chain Operations Reference Model. Perfect order fulfillment indicates the delivery performance to the construction site.The combined perfect order fulfillment for the three investigated materials is 18 %. A perfect order fulfillment of 18 % means that only one out of five inspected deliveries to Spinnrocken was considered having no faults at all. The effects of a low perfect order fulfillment are disruptions in the short-term time schedule, delayed operations, additional work and that the work space at the construction site is occupied by unnecessary construction material. The resulting effects thereby affects the project’s economy negatively.

Thus, the presence of a certain obsession is a favorable situation for smaller organizations in order to go through difficulties. This thesis investigates the miracle of passion in order to gain an understanding about the ability of leading passionate people. Theories and experiences from passionate individuals are combined in this research paper and suggest different perspectives a leader must consider by leading passion. I assume the social interaction between leaders and followers which result in a mutual influence of behavior and performance. This thesis is focused on the perspective of passionate followership and elucidates factors that are needed to act passionate as well as the role of the leader within this passionate environment.

[pt] Este estudo mediu a variância de variáveis sociais clássicas (gênero; raça/cor e
idade) entre as turmas de uma mesma escola que apresentaram o maior e o
menor desempenho em Língua Portuguesa (leitura) e Matemática. A variância é
a medida de desigualdade adotada e a pesquisa faz uso de dados longitudinais
coletados pelo GERES, nos anos letivos de 2005 e 2006, junto aos alunos dos
anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, com o objetivo de investigar, em 27
escolas municipais da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, se a variância verificada nos
resultados da proficiência entre turmas dentro de uma mesma escola é também
encontrada em relação a outras características sociais dos alunos, em termos de
gênero, raça/cor e idade. Além dos resultados de desempenho nos testes
cognitivos, a pesquisa utiliza dados sobre as características demográficas e
sociais dos alunos. Os achados gerais da pesquisa evidenciam que as
diferenças de desempenho encontradas entre turmas de escolas da rede
municipal de ensino do Rio de Janeiro não têm uma marca social clara, no
sentido de que não há processos de enturmação relacionados com variáveis
sociais clássicas, de gênero, raça e idade. No entanto, os resultados mostram
que dentre os mecanismos de estratificação presentes nas escolas, são as
diferenças de habilidades dos alunos em Leitura e Matemática as que orientam
os processos de organização de turmas. / [en] This study measures the variance of classical social variables (gender, race/skin
color, and age) among groups of the same school which have shown the highest
and the lowest levels of proficiency in Reading and Math. Variance is the
measurement we adopt here in order to show inequality levels. The research has
used longitudinal data collected by GERES from 2005 to 2006, considering
primary school students of 27 municipal schools in Rio de Janeiro. The object
has been to investigate if the variance observed through proficiency results
among groups of the same school can also be found when referring to students
social characteristics such as gender, race/skin color, and age. The research
considers not only students fulfillment in cognitive tests, but also their
demographical and social characteristics. This study has brought up evidences
which reveal that differences in fulfillment among groups of municipal schools in
Rio de Janeiro are not clearly marked by social aspects, what means that the
process of organizing students in groups is not determined by classical social
variables of gender, race/skin color, and age. On the other hand, our results
show that students different abilities in Reading and Math lead to their allocation
in groups.
