O objetivo central deste trabalho é estudar a marca de roupas e acessórios Abercrombie & Fitch, sua expressividade para com os consumidores e como seus pontos de contato incitam e promovem o consumo entre os jovens, tendo se transformado em um fenômeno de consumo da geração atual. Para tanto foi utilizada a semiótica peirceana que nos auxiliou na interpretação dos elementos sígnicos a fim de compreender o sucesso que ela conquistou, passando de uma marca de roupas e acessórios para caça (que teve este posicionamento por quase um século) e se transformou em uma das marcas preferidas pelos jovens do mundo todo (em pouco mais de 20 anos). Para entender melhor o momento atual do consumo, revisitamos a evolução das relações de consumo até os dias atuais. Importante também foi explorar o contexto das marcas na chamada Era da Hipermodernidade, para termos a visão de como o mundo atual se comporta em relação ao consumo no contexto de tantas transformações pelas quais estamos passando / The central objective of this study is explore the brand of clothing and accessories Abercrombie & Fitch, their way of expression with consumers and how their points of contact incite and promote consumption amon0067 young people, having been transformed into a phenomenon of consumption of the current generation. For that, piercian semiotics helped us in the interpretation of the brand sign elements in order to understand the success they have achieved, which became from a brand of clothing and accessories for hunting (which had this position for nearly a century) and became one of preferred brand by the youth throughout the world (in a little over 20 years). To better understand the current moment of consumption, we revisit the evolution of consumer relations and maturation to the present days. Was also important to explore the context of the brands in so-called Age of Hypermodernity to have a vision of how the current world behaves in relation to consumption in the context of many changes we\'re going through.

A sociedade atual passa por uma fase de transição entre o modelo moderno e o pósmoderno, criando um novo paradigma para o convívio social, o que acaba por se refletir no pensamento jurídico. Assim, o contrato, na condição de instrumento essencial para a realização das trocas econômicas e tutela de interesses jurídicos experimenta os reflexos dessas transformações sociais, o que acarreta modificações em sua formulação teórica e nos princípios que lhe servem de referência. Neste contexto a pós-modernidade impõe ao contrato a adoção de mega princípios, como o da função social e da boa-fé, além da necessidade de revisão dos seus postulados tradicionais, moldados agora sob a ótica dos valores constitucionais e buscando servir como meios adequados de enfrentamento da complexidade pós-moderna. / Society nowadays goes through a transition between the Modern and Post-Modern models raising a new paradigm for sociabilization which means interfering on the juridical belief. Thus the Contract, in the condition of essential instrument to fulfill all the economic trades as well as a tutor of juridical interests, experiences the reflextions of these transformations which leads in adaptations on it’s theoretical formulation and also in the principles that are being used as reference. In this context, Post-Modernity imposes to the Contract, the adoption of mega principles as Sociability and Good Will, above all, commands the necessity of reviewing all traditional postulates now moulded over the constitutional values and looks for fitting in as a proper way of facing the Post-Modern complexity.

Nesse ímpeto de comprar, as pessoas se põem em constante movimento, numa incessante busca pela satisfação. Ocupando, desse modo, os lugares e atuando sobre eles promovendo interferências e modificações. Pode-se dizer que muitos são os atores envolvidos direta ou indiretamente nessas alterações, contudo, nessa Tese, o objetivo mais geral é com certeza, o passo inicial na tentativa comprovar que o Consumo atua como força motriz para a modificação do espaço. Para tal constatação o objeto de análise escolhido foi o Shopping Boa Vista e o perímetro que abrange o conjunto de lojas e lojas de departamentos da Av. Conde da Boa Vista que possuem ligação com a dinâmica do Shopping, avaliando como o consumo contribui para tal dinâmica identificando, em primeiro lugar, quais os equipamentos instalados naquele logradouro que incentivam o Consumo e, em segundo lugar, como a relação equipamentos/consumo interferem na modificação do espaço, realizando assim um estudo de caso. O trabalho se concretizou a partir de pesquisa histórica, bibliográfica, levantamento de campo, entrevistas, questionários e análise de dados. Os principais resultados consistem na identificação de que o Shopping Boa Vista enquanto objeto simbólico do consumo foi capaz de alterar seu entorno, apesar da permanência dos espaços tradicionais, introduzindo novas dinâmicas no espaço, demonstrando que o Consumo funciona como força motriz para a modificação do espaço. / Following a worldwide trend that characterizes the postmodern phase, a significant portion of the brazilian population has launched increasingly to the calls of the consumption/Consumerism, turning not only to satisfy their basic needs, but for self satisfaction, self realization and statement, offered by a multitude of products ranging from clothing to the "paraphernalia high-techs", guaranteed and supported by easy access to spaces of consumption and a whole plot fueled by marketing and publicity. In this momentum buying, people are constantly moving, in a constant quest for satisfaction. Occupying thus the places and acting on them promoting interferences and modifications. It can be said that there are many actors involved directly or indirectly in these changes, however, in this Thesis, the more general goal is for sure, the initial step in an attempt to prove that the consumption acts as a driving force for the modification of the space. For this the object of analysis chosen was the Shopping Boa Vista and the perimeter that covers the set of shops and department stores from AV. Conde da Boa Vista that have connection with the dynamics of Shopping, assessing how the consumption contributes to such identifying dynamic, firstly, what the installed equipment in that public place which encourage the consumption and, secondly, as the equipment/consumer relationship interfere with the modification of the space, conducting a case study. The job came through from historical research, bibliographic field survey, interviews, questionnaires and data analysis. The main results consist in identifying the Shopping Boa Vista. While symbolic object of consumption was able to change his surroundings, despite the permanence of traditional spaces, introducing new dynamics in space, demonstrating that works as a driving force for the modification of the space.

Formal ou informalmente, artística ou cientificamente, as vozes gritam hinos de censura ou consagração; as muitas linguagens e os mais diversos esforços se concentram em intervenções sobre a mais fiel das representações do indivíduo contemporâneo - as cidades. Essa multiplicidade de manifestações demonstra a necessidade latente e cada vez mais urgente de buscar respostas a questões individuais (porque são referentes aos indivíduos), e dessa forma a questões urbanas. E neste ponto a Geografia emerge como área do saber intimamente comprometida com esse desafio, de aproximar homens e lugares como dimensões de uma mesma totalidade. E talvez, seja nessa possibilidade de intervenção que se resolvam algumas das mais antigas e frustrantes dicotomias vividas pela ciência Geográfica, o afastamento entre os estudos estritamente naturais e os ditos estudos humanos. Deste modo, nós é que supomos que cada problema tenha sua solução em uma determinada área, mas na realidade os problemas não podem ser disciplinadamente classificados, já que são constituídos de uma natureza difusa, efêmera e muitas vezes mais complexa do que nossa taxonomia podia prever. Nesse sentido a Geografia, assim como professam alguns de seus praticantes, fornece instrumentos que nos habilitam a uma análise una, capaz de tratar os fenômenos em sua íntegra natureza. Se a cidade, em sua contemporaneidade, é objeto de inúmeros questionamentos e inspiração para inúmeros trabalhos, eis aqui mais uma tentativa. Porém, seria pretensão e quase utopia uma dedicação às suas mais diversas dimensões, ou mesmo à Geografia das cidades contemporâneas como foco de um trabalho de dissertação elaborado em alguns meses. O recorte proposto é o ponto que une e contempla a espacialização fruto de uma tríade: Cidade, Indivíduo, Identidade. O tratamento dedicado à cidade tem a pretensão de focalizar o movimento entre escalas locais e globais, no qual permeiam as relações dos indivíduos em sua constante construção e dissolução de referências e territorialidades. Eis, portanto o espaço propício à discussão que se pretende elucidar: o movimento entre o lugar (local e/ou global) e o indivíduo (particular e/ou coletivo) e as materializações advindas dessa simbiose, especialmente no que se refere às práticas culturais / Abstract: To investigate the links between City, Individual and Identity, not only reporting their true relations, influences or detenninations, but disclosing the essential complicity between these categories, which brings us the key to intriguing questions, these indeed the central focus of the work: the constitution of the individual, of this being, product and producer of the contemporaneous cities, the construction of subjectivity; of a diffuse, incoherent and hybrid identity. The cities are moved by anxiety of conflicting, nervous, but fruitful and creative encounters, which consecrate its swift and productive character. Here, relationship territory - a type of machine fed by sensations, fantasies, fears and desires - the standards are ruled by powers many times unidentifiable, but clearly oppressive and crucial in the vigorous ordainment. The reproduction of this logic is inscribed in the landscape, a destructive dynamic, for being excluding, however viciously productive and sustainer of diverse interests. Thus are the contemporaneous cities, and thus such focused object is defined, on which numerous uneasiness, uncertainties, pretensions and enchantments are traced. In fact, this theme or object is not, by itself, the reason and the question to be pursued in the work, neither is it the privilege ofthe Geography to look and analyze the contemporaneous cities. Numerous are the areas of knowledge that lean over to the arduous mission of disclosing the depths or the shaIlowness ofthe cities. FormaIly or informaIly, artisticaIly or scientifically, the voices shout hymns of reproach or consecration; the many languages and the most varied efforts are concentrated on interventions on the most faithful of the representations of the contemporaneous individual - the cities. This multiplicity of manifestations shows the latent and more and more urgent need to seek for answers to individual questions (because they refer to individuaIs), and thus the urban questions. And in this point, the Geography emerges as an area of knowledge intimately committed with this chaIlenge, ofapproaching men in places as the dimensions ofthe same totality. And maybe, it is in this possibility of intervention that some of the most old and frustrating dichotomies lived by the Geographic science could be solved, the distancing between the strictly natural studies and the so-called human studies. Everything is found in the city, the cultural, ethnic, geopolitical questions, which are, concomitantly, environmental and thus are also hydrographic, pedagogical, geomorphologic, and, of course, aesthetic, subjective, spiritual... The fi'agmentation and the different acts consecrated in each area of knowledge brought us certain castrations, since specialization, highest to the extreme, makes us believe that the phenomena are classified by a disciplinary order, to which they are not necessarily adequate. 'Thus, we are the ones who suppose that each problem has its own solution in a given area, but actuaIly the problems cannot be disciplinarily classified, since they are made up of a diffuse, ephemeral nature, and many times more complex than our taxonomy could foresee. In this sense, Geography, like some of its practitioners profess, supplies instruments that aIlow us a sole analysis, capable oftreating the phenomena in their integral nature. If the city, in its contemporaneity, is the object of numerous questionings and inspiration for numerous works, here's another attempt. However, it would be pretentious and almost utopian a dedication to its most diverse dimensions or even to the Geography ofthe contemporaneous cities as the focus of a dissertation work prepared in a few months. A qualitative study of the type of case study focused on two students with Down syndrome inserted into two schools: one public and one private, both in the city of Goiania. As methodological strategies were used to observe classes in two schools, interviews, literature and document analysis. Data analysis was performed from one direction is vested in dialectical and historical materialism, based on this approach, we sought to establish categories that were chosen from the instruments used. This study is based on the concept of diversity as a contemporary movement that recognizes and values of multiculturalism, an aspect also of critical pedagogy. As the line of research is called Training and rofessionalization, we investigated the conceptions of teachers in relation to a student with Down syndrome and their practices. It was found in both schools the lack of commitments that interfere with the learning of students with Down syndrome and, consequently, no use of appropriate methodologies. It was also the accompanying negative social representation of students with this syndrome. These findings emphasize the contradiction between the neoliberal discourse of inclusion and the need for an educational practice based on a guarantee of constitutional law. They point to the need for a change in the design of inclusive education in the educational context, because, in practice, students who do not fit the "labels" are included, in fact, most excluded. It follows therefore that the inclusion may enable significant changes in school as the diversity among all students is recognized. / Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar como se encontra a inclusão de alunos com Síndrome de Down no contexto das escolas regulares do Ensino Fundamental, no início do processo da escolarização. A pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso teve como foco dois alunos com Síndrome de Down inseridos em duas escolas: uma pública e outra particular, ambas no município de Goiânia. Como estratégias metodológicas foram realizadas observações das aulas nas duas escolas, entrevistas semiestruturadas, levantamento bibliográfico e análise de documentos. A análise dos dados foi realizada a partir de uma orientação ensejada no materialismo histórico dialético e, com base nessa abordagem, buscou-se constituir categorias que foram eleitas a partir dos instrumentos utilizados. Este estudo fundamenta-se na concepção da diversidade como um movimento contemporâneo que reconhece e valoriza o multiculturalismo, aspecto também da Pedagogia crítica. Como a linha de pesquisa intitula-se Formação e Profissionalização Docente, investigou-se quais as concepções das professoras em relação ao aluno com Síndrome de Down bem como suas práticas. Constatou-se nas escolas investigadas o desconhecimento dos comprometimentos que interferem na aprendizagem de alunos com Síndrome de Down e, conseqüentemente, a não utilização de metodologias apropriadas. Constatou-se também a negativa representação social que acompanha alunos com esta síndrome. É notória a contradição existente entre o discurso neoliberal da inclusão e a necessidade de uma prática educacional pautada na garantia de um Direito Constitucional. Aponta-se para a necessidade de uma mudança na concepção da educação inclusiva no contexto educacional, pois, na prática, alunos que não se encaixam nos rótulos de inclusos se encontram, na verdade, mais excluídos. Conclui-se, assim, que a inclusão poderá possibilitar mudanças significativas na escola à medida que a diversidade existente entre todos os alunos for reconhecida.

The concern with the modulation of the phenomenon through the internet has been increasing, as much as its expression and incidence. Thus, we aim in this research, to make reflections about school violence in postmodern society, specifically expressed from the cyber bullying phenomenon. We sought to understand the use of cyberspace in manifestations of violence, aiming to analyze the possible consequences of cyber bullying in the life of high school students of public institutions in the city of Cascavel. Therefore, we analyzed the discourse of students who experienced cyber bullying situations. The strategies used intended, by design, to grasp notions, attitudes, experiences, reactions and feelings about the theme. The theoretical contribution of the bibliographical research was based on authors who talk about post-modernity (BARROS, 2014; MAFFESOLI 1987, 1998); violence and youth (GADEA, 2014; GUIMARÃES, 2005; MAFFESOLI, 1987,1998; RECCHIA, 2008; SPOSITO, 1998); and cyberspace (BARROS, 2007; CASTELLS, 2003; LÉVY, 1999; RECUERO, 2006). We chose the semi-structured interview as an instrument for data collection and we used Bardin (2001) for content analysis. / O fenômeno da violência e suas modulações tem sido o cerne de inúmeras pesquisas cientificas. A preocupação com a modulação do fenômeno via internet tem sido crescente, tanto quanto sua expressão e incidência. Assim, objetivamos nesta pesquisa, tecer reflexões acerca da violência escolar na sociedade pós-moderna, expressa especificamente a partir do fenômeno ciberbullying. Buscamos compreender o uso do ciberespaço em manifestações de violência, intuindo analisar as possíveis consequências advindas do ciberbullying na vida de estudantes do Ensino Médio de instituições públicas da cidade de Cascavel. Para tanto, analisamos o discurso de alunos que vivenciaram situações de ciberbullying. As estratégias utilizadas pretenderam, por desígnio, apreender noções, atitudes, experiências, reações e sentimentos acerca da temática. O aporte teórico da pesquisa bibliográfica baseou-se em autores que versam sobre pós-modernidade (BARROS, 2014; MAFFESOLI 1987, 1998); violência e juventude (GADEA, 2014; GUIMARÃES, 2005; MAFFESOLI, 1987,1998; RECCHIA, 2008; SPOSITO, 1998); e ciberespaço (BARROS, 2007; CASTELLS, 2003; LÉVY, 1999; RECUERO, 2006). Optamos pela entrevista semiestruturada enquanto instrumento de coleta de dados e pautamo-nos em Bardin (2001) para a análise de conteúdo.

Focamos nossa atenção no fenômeno da paternidade e maternidade de filhos(as) homossexuais por pais e mães heterossexuais, pois diante da realidade pós-moderna, a tradicional família nuclear modificou-se e hoje nos deparamos com vários arranjos familiares. Nosso objetivo foi desvelar os significados atribuídos por pais e mães heterossexuais à homossexualidade de filhos(as), para construirmos sentidos e abrangê-los à comunidade em geral, aos demais pais e mães de homossexuais e aos profissionais de saúde e educação. Realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa fenomenológica através da entrevista fenomenológica compreensiva com uma questão norteadora. Participaram pais e mães com idade variando entre 47 e 60 anos, com filhos na adolescência ou a partir dessa fase, pertencentes tanto à classe social A, quanto à B e à C; provindos dos estados de Minas Gerais, São Paulo e Goiás. Os relatos foram gravados. Em seguida, os submetemos aos seguintes momentos de análise: 1.Transcrições dos relatos dos colaboradores e a leitura geral dos relatos; 2. Elaboração e discriminação das unidades de significado; 3. Compilação ou síntese das unidades de significado e 4. Declaração consistente com relação à experiência do sujeito a partir dos insights do pesquisador. Ao final, a análise individual dos relatos foi feita à luz da fenomenologia ontológico-hermenêutica de Martin Heidegger e dos eixos que alicerçaram a pesquisa. A compreensão dos relatos apresentados por pais e mães heterossexuais permitiu construir as seguintes categorias: (1) Vivência anterior à revelação da homossexualidade do(a) filho(a); (2) Revelação à família e convivência com a homossexualidade do(a) filho(a); (3) Relacionamentos familiares; (4) Horizonte de silêncio; (5) Expectativas maternas(paternas) em relação ao projeto de vida do(a) filho(a). Os desvelamentos realizados pela análise hermenêutica dos relatos de pais e mães heterossexuais convergem, primordialmente, para o sentido da dificuldade em lidar com a revelação da homossexualidade do(a) filho(a). O que diferencia os significados que desvelam essa dor é o modo como pais e mães conseguem assimilar a vivência da homossexualidade dos filhos em sua temporalidade e conviver com ela. Tentaram acolher o(a) filho(a) mesmo sem compreender; demonstraram grande preocupação com violência e preconceito; sentiram a vivência como um choque, com culpa, angústia, revolta, dificuldade, desentendimento, muitas vezes não aceitando, muitas vezes lutando para compreender o(a) filho(a) independentemente de sua sexualidade; convivendo bem com a homossexualidade, ainda que através do velamento, das dúvidas, da curiosidade e, por isso, a dificuldade em assimilar a vivência. A pesquisa nos permitiu concluir que o fenômeno estudado envolve uma multiplicidade de fatores e o contato com pais e mães heterossexuais de filhos homossexuais abriu novas perspectivas de compreensão e ressignificação da vivência, ao revelar o que os mesmos atribuíram à paternidade e à maternidade, permitindo desconstruir tabus, mitos, preconceitos e estigmas. / We focused our attention on the fatherhood and motherhood of homosexual sons and daughters having heterosexual parents. Looking at the post-modern reality, the traditional nuclear family changed and today we can have several familiar arrangements. Our objective was to reveal the significance of homosexuality of their daughters and sons, to find meanings and to include them in the society for other parents and the educational and health professionals. A qualitative phenomenological research carried out through comprehensive phenomenological interviews with an orientation question. The interviewees were parents (fathers and mothers) from 47 to 60 years old, with teenager children. They were from A, B and C social classes from the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Goiás. All the interviews were recorded and then submitted to the following analysis moments: 1. Interview transcription and general interview reading; 2. Elaboration and discrimination of the significance units; 3. Compilation and synthesis of the significance units; 4. Consistent declaration related to the subjects\' experience from the researcher insights. At the end, the individual analysis of each declaration was made from Martin Heideggers ontology-hermeneutic phenomenology and other axis (Post-modernity, Family, Homosexuality) that supports this research. The heterosexual parents interviews comprehension lead to the following categories: (1) Life before the son or daughter homosexuality revelation; (2) The homosexuality revelation to the family and family living after that; (3) Family relationships; (4) Silence horizon; (5) Parents expectation from their sons and daughters future. The hermeneutic analysis results from the parents interviews converge, primarily to the sense of difficulties to deal with the sons and daughters homosexuality revelation. What differentiates the meaning which unveils this pain is how the fathers and mothers can assimilate their sons and daughters homosexuality and live with it. They have tried to shelter their sons and daughters even without understanding; they showed great concern with violence and discrimination; they felt this experience as a shock, with guilt, anguish, difficulties in understanding, sometimes not accepting it, sometimes fighting to understand their sons and daughters, independently of they sexuality; sometimes accepting, even with silence, doubts, curiosity and so, with difficulty in assimilating it. This research leads us to conclude that the studied phenomenon involves a multiplicity of factors and the contact with heterosexual fathers and mothers of homosexuals sons and daughters opened new perspectives to the fatherhood and motherhood, allowing the possibility to break taboos, myths, prejudices and stigmas.

O presente estudo procura sistematizar literatura, dados e informações sobre o processo da comunicação no contexto da sociedade contemporânea em mutação e relacioná-lo com as indicações que apontam as mudanças no sentido do trabalho na organização da vida atual. Assume-se aqui a hipótese de que o processo comunicacional contemporâneo reflete hoje mudanças de valores que se dão na crescente retomada da centralidade da vida humana, ao mesmo tempo em que deslocam e rearticulam os sentidos de compreensão do trabalho. / This study aims at reviewing the literature, data and information on communication process in the context of contemporary society in transformation and relates it to indications that point towards changes in the meaning of work in the organization of current life. It is assumed here the hypothesis that contemporary communication process reflects modifications in values that happen in the human life centrality increase, while moves and readjusts the meanings of work understanding.

O presente trabalho trata de estabelecer as conexões entre os aspectos éticos e os propriamente literários na obra do escritor judeu-brasileiro Samuel Rawet, nascido na Polônia em 1929, que viveu no Brasil de 1936 até sua morte em 1984. Rawet é autor de considerável obra ficcional, notadamente nos gêneros conto e novela curta, além de alguns ensaios de caráter filosófico. Por hipótese, não há como pensar em ética e literatura sem algum esforço para situar o relacionamento entre esses dois assuntos historicamente e estabelecer um quadro conceitual de referência; isto é empreendido no primeiro capítulo da pesquisa, que focaliza a comparação na obra de Platão e Dante, introduz a crítica de Theodor Adorno à assim chamada literatura engajada, e expõe brevemente o pensamento do filósofo judeu Emmanuel Levinas, que dedicou em sua obra atenção especial à própria condição da literatura para servir de suporte para um discurso verdadeiramente ético. A posição ética de Rawet é, então, apreciada em alguns de seus contos, tanto nos aspectos temáticos de solidariedade para com o oprimido, denúncia da violência, etc, quanto nos formais, como sejam foco narrativo, estruturação fragmentária de narradores e personagens, rompimento das fronteiras espaço-temporais. Por fim, a pesquisa apontou para o fato de que a postura ética manifestada por Rawet em sua literatura não pode ser dissociada de sua \"questão judaica\" - seu difícil relacionamento com os judeus concretos com os quais de alguma forma conviveu, e sua profunda admiração por alguns pensadores judeus, notadamente Martin Buber e Baruch Spinoza, que considerava como os maiores representantes da grande tradição judaica; esta associação é formalmente exposta e desenvolvida no capítulo final, dedicado às \"conclusões\". / The present work deals with the establishment of connections between the ethical aspects and the specifically literary aspects in the work of Samuel Rawet, Jewish-Brazilian writer born in Poland in 1929, who lived in Brazil since 1936 until his death, in 1984. Rawet let a considerable amount of fictional work, mainly in the form of short tales, as well as some philosophical essays. Naturally, there is no way of thinking about ethics and literature without some effort to locate historically the relationship between these two concerns and to establish a conceptual framework; this is undertaken in the first chapter, that focuses the comparison in the works of Plato and Dante, introduces Theodor Adorno\'s criticism to the so called engaged literature, and briefly exposes the thinking of Emmanuel Levinas, Jewish philosopher that gave, in his works, especial atention to the very aptitude of literature to serve as support to a truely ethical discourse. Rawet\'s ethical position is then appreciated in some of his short tales, both in the thematic aspects of solidarity toward the opressed, denunciation of violence, and so on, and in the formal aspects, like narrative focus, fragmented structuration of narrators and characters, disruption of space-time frontiers. At last, the research pointed to the fact that the ethical position manifested by Rawet in his literature cannot be dissociated from his \"Jewish question\" - his difficult relationship with the real Jews with whom he lived together, and his deep admiration for some Jewish thinkers, mainly Martin Buber and Baruch Spinoza, which he had as the greatest representatives of the great Jewish tradition; this association is formally exposed and developed in the final chapter, dedicated to \"conclusions\".

O presente trabalho procura compreender as transformações ocorridas em Florianópolis ao longo das últimas décadas, em especial no que diz respeito ao discurso sobre a mesma e aos espaços considerados seus símbolos. O objeto deste trabalho, portanto, é o processo singular de formação da cidade em sua materialidade e vida social sob a égide de uma nova lógica cultural que domina o capitalismo contemporâneo. Por um lado, o trabalho procura relacionar as mudanças efetivas quando da crítica e contestação do projeto moderno às transformações ocorridas no campo específico do planejamento urbano. Por outro, reconhecendo a especificidade do período contemporâneo, dito pós-moderno, procurou-se primeiramente compreender os diversos estudos realizados sobre a temática para, por fim, poder remetê-las à realidade florianopolitana. Foram analisadas as dinâmicas da teoria urbana paralelamente ao desenvolvimento de Florianópolis e seus modelos de gestão e planejamento urbano, enfatizando a formação de novos espaços simbólicos, seu conteúdo e sua forma de apropriação. Foi focalizada a confluência de três campos distintos: as gestões municipais, os interesses econômicos atuantes na cidade e a população local que também poderia ser categorizada de acordo com os interesses próprios de cada camada social. Ademais, deve-se distinguir entre as dinâmicas da teoria urbana, constitutivas, e o planejamento urbano, normativo. Portanto, a análise de diversas variáveis condicionantes pode gerar diferentes aproximações das determinações do espaço simbólico, mas se buscou um conhecimento que as sintetize. Como resultado final da pesquisa, espera-se realizar considerações acerca das transformações ocorridas a partir da emergência da pós-modernidade na arquitetura e no urbanismo, enfatizando a problemática do projeto de pesquisa, ou seja, os espaços simbólicos. Em relação à Florianópolis, expõe-se o vigor do teor das transformações ocorridas nas últimas décadas na cidade reveladas pela emergência da pós-modernidade em sua arquitetura, em seu planejamento urbano e no papel das ideologias de consumo na constituição de seus mais recentes espaços simbólicos identitários. Compreendendo que o período tratado, a pós-modernidade, e os espaços simbólicos, em especial se há a possibilidade de sua formação a partir da emergência daquela, são áreas polêmicas e ainda sujeitas a aprofundamentos, a postura deste trabalho é proporcionar mais uma forma de acesso e compreensão da temática. / This research aims to understand the transformations that Florianópolis has been passing in the last decades, mainly in the speech about it and in the spaces considered its symbols. The object of this work, therefore, is the unique process of the citys formation in its materiality and social life under the influence of a new cultural logic that dominates the contemporary capitalism. On the one hand, the work intends to relate the changes derivate from the criticism to the modern project to the ones occurred in the specific field of the urban planning. On the other hand, recognizing the specificity of the contemporary period, called post-modern, it seeks to understand the diverse studies carried through on the thematic to, finally, be able to relate them with the local reality. Were analyzed the dynamics of urban theories and the urban development of Florianópolis, as well as its models of urban governance and planning, emphasizing the formation of new symbolic,spaces, its meaning and form of appropriation. It was focused the confluence of three distinct fields: the municipal managements and the urban policy; the economic interests operating in the city; and the local population, that also could be categorized in accordance with the proper interests of each social class. It also distinguishes the dynamic of the urban theory and the proper urban planning, the urban legislation. As result, this research expects to have contributed with considerations about the transformations in architecture and urban planning since the emergence of post-modernity, emphasizing the symbolic spaces. For the Florianópolis reality, it is expected to comprehend its social and urban development correlated with the characterization of its symbolic spaces - which, why and for whom they are symbolic. Since post-modernity and symbolic spaces are highly polemical research areas, in especial if there is the possibility of the formation of new symbolic spaces in this period, this work intends to propitiate a new approach and understand better this reality.
