Syftet med denna kunskapsöversikt är att lyfta fram den offentliga miljöns betydelse förkreativitet och lärande. Detta gör jag genom att analysera forskning kring hur och på vilket sätt det offentliga rummet kan användas i bildundervisningen. I denna kunskapsöversikt genomfördes en systematisk sökprocess där 9 artiklar valdes ut. Resultatet visar att gatukonst möjliggör för diskussioner kring samtida konst genom att utmana betraktaren med tankeväckande innehåll. I diskussionen problematiseras resultatet i förhållande till läroplanen för grundskolan och ett resonemang förs kring min roll som lärare i det arbete som kan bidra till lärande på bildundervisningen.

The assignment was to create a Community Center in Gnesta which would include auditoriums, library, hostel, restaurant, offices for the municipality and a room for wedding-cermonies. The site is centrally located next to trainstation, main streets, Gnesta square and is part of a new quarter planned for housing. / Uppgiften var att rita ett Medborgarhus i Gnesta med tre hörsalar, bibliotek, vandrarhem, restaurang, kontor och vigselrum. Tomten är centralt belägen intill stationshus, huvudstråk och torgplats samt är en del av ett tilltänkt bostadskvarter.

As of today, there has been more studies when it comes to women's fear in public space, but only a handful of research have been done on men’s experience and how they navigate public spaces. Therefore, this study has been focusing on just that, men's fear in public space. The people being interviewed in this study have experienced both insecurity and fear in public space, even though it has been hard to identify or acknowledge that what they felt was fear. The focus has been on hegemonic masculinity and its role in shaping men’s sense of safety, insecurity and how identity and ethnicity also can affect men's expression of their masculinity in public spaces. It's important to make public space for all groups regardless of identity, gender, or background, to reduce the risk of insecurity and fear in our society. Finally, this study shows how important it is to break the negative values that come with hegemonic masculinity.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to study free play in preschool and how children play based on the opportunities they have in the playroom environment. Do preschoolers actively work with gender? At what level do they see gender as something important and as a concrete subject to engage themselves in? To answer our questions, we observed children’s free play and interviewed preschool teachers, to give us new insights into how the preschool works in terms of free play, gender and the play environment. All interviews and observations were transcribed and analyzed using theories on gender, free play, and play enviroment. Respondents had the impression that preschool is for everyone and that children play at the same level, as the toys and material in the departments are intended for all children. All children are allowed, and indeed encouraged to play with all toys and material. We used theories that informed us about how the free play might look in the room, how gender can be visualized during children’s playtime and how the play environment in the room affects children’s play. In our results, we saw how the educators look at the free play. How the educators look at their work with gender and how they think about the play environment in the room. We got an insight into how the work with gender are at the preschools we observed. Our results are consistent with the previous research done in this area. In particular, it requries more knowledge within gender, the meaning of the word and suggestions on how a preschool can work with gender education. In order to develop their way of working, it requires an open mind for change.

Studier visar att allt fler elever använder internet för informationssökning till sina studier. En del webbsidor som SO-rummet och Nationalencyklopedin.se (NE.se) har som grund att vara komplement till läromedel i undervisningen, andra webbsidor som Wikipedia (svenska versionen) har som mål att endast förmedla kunskap. Ämnesplanen för religionsämnet har som krav att eleven ska lära sig om hur religion uttrycks i både teori och praktik, men också hur den efterlevs av människor i Sverige och deras hemland. Läroböckers framställning av buddhismen har fått mycket kritik för att innehållet inte uppfyller flera av ämnesplanen och läroplanens krav. När elever vänder sig till internet för information om buddhismen är det viktig att undersöka de mest besökta webbsidornas framställning av buddhismen.I detta uppsats har tre populära webbsidor, NE.se, SO-rummet och Wikipedia undersökts för hur buddhismen framställs och hur väl framställningen uppfyller ämnesplanens krav på förståelse av religionsutövandet. Resultatet visar på att samtliga webbsidor simplifiera buddhismen olika begrepp och framställer religionen som en homogen tro. Endast Wikipedia uppnår delvis delar av ämnesplanens kunskapskrav, men är i övrigt ofullständigt i framställningen av buddhismen liksom SO-rummet och NE.se.

Nowadays there is a common understanding in the Western countries regarding how equal the genders are in the traditional Christian societies, while other countries are believed to be characterized by a patriarchal structure. This self-image has probably led to a kind of blindness concerning the problems in the vicinity and instead of emphasizing unequal trends in the West, criticize other cultures and religions for being misogynist. The aim of this study is to analyse how the internet page www.so-rummet.se  describes Islam and Buddhism through a gender perspective. SO-rummet is a webpage created by the teacher Robert de Vries and aims to complete the learning material that is used in the Swedish schools. The site focuses on history, religion, geography and civics.  The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the normative religious believer is described and if both men and women are included in the texts about Islam and Buddhism. This essay will be based on content analysis by assuming which words that are being used and how the genders are being described. This will help concluding who’s considered to be the norm in the text at SO-rummet.

<p>Rapporten är ett samhällsvetenskapligt och kulturgeografiskt forskningsresultat från studier i det multikulturella Varanasi i Indien. Det kulturgeografiska inslaget berör hur rummet skapar interrelationer mellan muslimer/hinduer på en gata i staden genom en social och ekonomisk aktivitet, sidenbranschen. Den uråldriga staden har varit ett centralt produktionsläge av siden, där muslimerna dominerar fabrikationen medan hinduerna är ledande köpmän. Denna affärsrelation frambringar även ett ömsesidigt beroende som resulterar i en social samexistens, men där den inhemska politiken hotar denna relation. En hypotes kring relationernas betydelse för att motverka dessa hot har formulerats. Denna hypotes testades empiriskt där metodiken bestod av kvalitativa observationer direkt på en gata (Madanpura) samt två festivaler (Roza Iftar & Divali) med anknytning till affärsrelationen mellan hinduer/muslimer verksamma i sidenbranschen. Utöver detta utgör intervjuer med berörda affärsmän som respondenter ett annat underlag för data. Forskningen begränsades till en specifik gata och en likaså aktivitet, med fokus på hinduiska och muslimska näringsidkare som skapar och påverkas av</p><p>ekonomiska/sociala relationer sidenproduktionen alstrar. Resultatet tyder på att; Madanpura är en rumslig samlingsplast för interaktioner mellan muslimska och hinduiska affärsmän i sidenbranschen. Och dessa affärsrelationer, som är en del av ett civilt nätverk i samhället via dess interaktiva aktiviteter, innebär även sociala relationer, i samband med särskilda högtider. Men av den politiska kontexten är det möjligt att relationerna socialt och ekonomiskt, rubbas av etniska inre stridigheter.</p>

This thesis in Art History and Visual Science is about values to graffiti and graffiti artist Banksy. I have studied values relating to Banksy´s graffiti images through which context they are placed in and where they are located. I have selected two different images of Banksy as an example on the basis of a transnational phenomenon, where the images that circulate in the public arena by street art and other images and imported into the galleries and consumption market. My conclusion is that the values of the images are based on the context in which each room have its surroundings and that therefore the impression will increase. The public space context, signal availability and the white cube context indicates art, and the commercial context signals goods and items that can be bought. Therefore the values for the images are based on the context in which each room says to the environment and the surrounding impressions accruing to the picture. Hence, when Banksy's images circulate in these three rooms they are received and valued based on which place the pictures are in, based on context and the background ideas you have for the expression.
