Malunavičienė, Vida 16 August 2007 (has links)
Vykstantys spartūs pokyčiai teisinėje bazėje, ratifikuojamos tarptautinės sutartys, priimami nacionaliniai teisės aktai ne visada taip sparčiai realizuojami realybėje. / The relevance of the topic is determined by the fact tht rapid changes in the field of law are not always rapidly implemented in relity and a chld does not have a possibility to get the best of it. This creates the preconditions to newly analyze the problems concerning child s positive socialization.

Socialização do patrimônio arqueológico no Estado de São Paulo: proposta de plano de gestão, interpretação e visitação turística em áreas arqueológicas / Socialization of Archaeological Heritage in the State of São Paulo: management plan, interpretation and tourist visitation in archaeological areas

Manzato, Fabiana 08 March 2013 (has links)
The knowledge societies through the study of its archaeological remnants is made by archeology. Currently, their coverage area beyond the boundary of the object in question, involving also the context in which it occurs. More than that, from the 1980s, the Archaeology has favored closer relations and engagement between archaeologists and communities, tourismologist and stakeholders provided a deeper understanding not only of the past but the present uses made of the past. Thus, given these initial considerations, it was thought this Doctoral Thesis at the Graduate Program in Archaeology, Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology (MAE), University of São Paulo (USP). This exploratory and descriptive research the general purpose is Socialize Archaeological Heritage in São Paulo from recommendations for the preparation of management plan in archaeological areas. It presents four chapters: the first is about the memory, identity and socialization heritage in globalization, then brings a discussion about the intersection of Archaeology and Tourism as partners or rivals in the socialization of archaeological heritage, as the third chapter describes the foreign and nationals case studies and punctuates their respective his actions of socialization heritage, and finally, approach the general recommendations for the preparation of the management plan in archaeological areas.

The Social Life of the Student - A design Project / Studentens sociala liv - Ett designprojekt

Jensen, Fredrik January 2009 (has links)
This report describes from start to finish how a new design and extension of the Gengras student union center at the University of Hartford was done. The report will be using a project that was made by me and explains how the whole project was planned by contacting S/L/A/M Collaborative Inc. all the way until the final outcome was presented for a final jury. It explains the whole chain process one should use when designing a building such as different analysis, precedent studies, concept development and how to approach the design project. New technologies, the feature of access and flexibility are the main influence words in the design that is being used as an example. These words can be found and felt throughout the whole building both in the façade drawings and in the plan solutions. The result was a building that is more organic and flexible in its forms and spaces than current architecture is today. A sort of architecture that comes more and more in which will shape the society in the future. My building also keeps a sense of the old façade to create a transition between the new and the old. The old and the new cooperation prove that the innovative design does not destroy the old building; it only enhances it and prepares it for the future.

Addressing Need for Research-Focused Nurses By Increasing Interest and Socialization at the Undergraduate Level

Thomas, Sarah 01 May 2014 (has links)
The U.S. shortage of qualified nursing teachers and researchers is affecting national health care outcomes. Methods such as fast-tracking Baccalaureate nurses into graduate programs and embedding leadership development early into nursing curricula have been proposed to address faculty and research shortages. Early interest in nursing research careers increases likelihood of enrollment in graduate education. One way undergraduate nursing students may develop an interest in research careers is through a mentored apprenticeship with research-active faculty. In this thesis, the author uses an autoethnography methodology to examine the benefits that a mentored research apprenticeship model brought to her undergraduate experience. Her experience incorporated a variety of roles in an adolescent intervention program with Dr. Anne Norris (PI) at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing. Several themes about the experience were defined in the results. Early research exposure that socializes a student to the nursing research world may provide a means for addressing the nursing faculty shortage. This socialization can generate interest in a research career and promote undergraduate students with the essential tools and insights needed to pursue this career pathway. However, findings from this study suggest a student-mentor relationship early in the undergraduate education experience is essential.
