It was used of form with structuralized questions applied the 440 colleges student with age of 18 the 24 years of Faculdade Santa Terezinha (CEST). The analysis statistics it s being through the program Epi-Info and by means of the test qui-square. Amongst the searched colleges student 66.7% they had answered already to have initiated the sexual life. Most part of the colleges student initiated the sexual life with the age of 19 - 20 years 41.9%. In the first sexual relation 65.2% it used some contraceptive method. The used method more in the first sexual relation was condom 80.3%, currently 82.7% of the colleges student they use contraceptive and the preference continues being condom 84.9%. The majority of the colleges student declared to present frequency in the sexual relations of one or more times in week 54.2% and with a partner in the year 78.9%. The results in this population show that it has a proeminence for the bachelor condition, say to know condom as contraceptive method and affirm not to present doubts about the methods. Already they had initiated the sexual life and they had used contraceptive in the first relation presenting the frequency of one or more times in week and a partner in the last year. / O objetivo desta pesquisa é estudar os fatores determinantes da prática de métodos contraceptivos entre universitárias da área da saúde. Utilizou-se um formulário com perguntas estruturadas aplicado a 440 universitárias com idade de 18 a 24 anos da Faculdade Santa Terezinha (CEST). A análise estatística foi realizada através do programa Epi-Info e por meio do teste qui-quadrado. Dentre as universitárias pesquisadas 66,7% responderam já ter iniciado a vida sexual. Grande parte das universitárias iniciou a vida sexual com a idade entre 19 a 20 anos 41,9%. Na primeira relação sexual 65,2% usou algum método contraceptivo. O método mais utilizado na primeira relação sexual foi o condom 80,3% e, atualmente, 82,7% das universitárias utilizam contraceptivo e a preferência continua sendo para o condom 84,9%. A maioria das universitárias declarou apresentar freqüência nas relações sexuais de uma ou mais vezes por semana 54,2% e com um parceiro ao ano 78,9%. Os resultados nesta população mostram que há uma predominância para a condição de solteira, dizem conhecer o condom como método contraceptivo e afirmam não apresentar dúvidas com relação aos métodos. Já iniciaram a vida sexual e usaram contraceptivo na primeira relação apresentando a freqüência de uma ou mais vezes por semana e um parceiro no último ano.

Especificamente, analisa a dimensão técnica da Competência Informacional sob a perspectiva teórica e a partir da visão dos bibliotecários de referência das Universidades da região da Grande Florianópolis. A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa, bibliográfica e exploratória, envolve abordagens sobre a sociedade, a técnica na Filosofia, conceitos referentes à Competência Informacional na literatura em Ciência da Informação e a dimensão técnica da Competência Informacional do bibliotecário de referência. O campo de pesquisa compreende as bibliotecas universitárias localizadas na região da Grande Florianópolis, com a participação de 11 bibliotecários de referência. No campo prático, o bibliotecário de referência trabalha em um ambiente dinâmico deparando-se com situações complexas que estimulam a mobilização da dimensão técnica da Competência Informacional a fim da resolução das questões apresentadas pelos usuários. A dimensão técnica da Competência Informacional do bibliotecário de referência, pauta-se nas habilidades para conduzir entrevistas e buscar a informação. Manifestam decisões constantemente: tanto para localizar a informação quanto para educar os usuários. Por fim, os bibliotecários de referência compreendem a Competência Informacional como um processo informacional orientado à execução do serviço de referência com a finalidade de fornecer informações e educar os usuários. This study specifically analyzes the technical dimension of the Information Literacy from a theoretical perspective as well as the point of view of the reference librarians of the universities in the Greater area of Florianópolis. The research, which is of qualitative, bibliographic and exploratory nature, involves approaches about the society, the technique in Philosophy, concepts related to Information Literacy in the literature in Information Science and the technical dimension of the Information Literacy of the reference librarian. The research field of this study comprises the university libraries located in the Greater area of Florianópolis, with the participation of 11 reference librarians. This work makes use of questionnaires and interviews to collect data. It also establishes categories, through the technique of content analysis of Bardin (2010) aiming the processing of data and the interpretation of results. Finally, this research theoretically concludes that the technical dimension of the Information Literacy covers skills supported by decisions in the search, evaluation and the use of the information process. In the practical field , the reference librarian works in a dynamic environment facing complex situations that encourage the mobilization of the technical dimension of the Information Literacy in order to obtain the resolution of the issues submitted by the users. The technical dimension of the Information Literacy of the reference librarian draws on the skills to conduct interviews and search for the information. The reference librarians often manifest their decisions both to find the information and to educate the users. Finally, the reference librarians understand the information literacy as an informational process oriented to the execution of the reference work with the purpose to provide information and educate the users. They infer that the technical dimension of the Information Literacy is linked to the knowledge of the individual in relation to the information sources and technologies as well as the skills to access and evaluate the information.

Trata-se de uma avaliação da política de ações afirmativas na mesma universidade. Este trabalho conta com uma contextualização de aspectos referentes à temática no Brasil e na UFSC, assim como referentes a aspectos da abordagem da Sociologia da Educação sobre o tema. O trabalho conta com a análise do desempenho em virtude da nota, da reprovação por frequência, da metodologia da taxa de integralização média e de regressões de tipo binária logística e linear. O banco de dados com resultados de todos os ingressantes desse período na UFSC permitiu análises diversificadas com cursos e tipos de cursos específicos da instituição. Além da forma de ingresso, o gênero e a raça também serviram de indicadores de desempenho. O aprimoramento da política de ação afirmativa da universidade, bem como auxiliar em futuras pesquisas sobre o tema foi o foco principal do trabalho.<br> / Abstract : This paper presents a performance analysis of the issue of students from UFSC entrants between 2008 and 2011, with emphasis on the issue of racial quota. This is an assessment of the affirmative action policy at the same university. This work has a background of aspects concerning the subject in Brazil and UFSC, as well as aspects related to the approach of sociology of education on the subject. The work includes the analysis of the performance due to the note, the frequency of failure, the methodology of taxa de integralização média and binary logistic and linear regressions type. The database with results of all entrants that period in UFSC allowed diversified analyzes with courses and specific types of courses of the institution. In the form of admission, gender and race also served as performance parameters. The improvement of the affirmative action policy of the university, as well as useful for future research on the topic was also a focus of the work.

Also understand if there is any relationship between the Institutional Evaluation of the National Assessment of Higher Education (SINAES) and the process of moderning of that library. For this analysis we considered the opinions of members of academic community, so this assessment were not adopted indicators or quality standards previously established. The approach of this evaluative research is interpretive, since of the concept of evaluation of public policies Lejanos (2006), and the mode of assessment is the investigation of this case study. The data were get and analyze resources by triangulation of methods, since they were involved in this study qualitative and quantitative data collected through bibliographical research, participant observation, questionnaires and interviews. We conclude that the process of modernization of the campus library Palmas is considered by its users as significant. However, their investments and actions are conducted in a fragmented way, so the infrastructure for information technology, human resources and the body do not match the needs of users of that library. The design employed in this modernization process is technical and managerial, whose meaning is agility, control and standardization of services of eight libraries of UFT. Note also that this process of modernization were prioritized administrative tasks of the library, so that there was an attempt to focus on meeting the requirements of the evaluation of SINAES, in detriment of the expectations of the academic community. From these data we conclude that this process is consistent with the historical background and the assumptions of the modernization project of the Brazilian higher education, which is based on liberal ideals and emphasizes the technical aspects, the increased efficiency of public administration, productivity, cost effectiveness and so on. It is recommended that the UFT discuss the process of modernization with library users, in order to carry out a systematic planning for continuity, it is also suggested the appointment of an interdisciplinary team to accompany him. Moreover, it is important to effective and expanded student participation in the Steering Committee of the Library System of UFT. So, generally identified that need public policies that coordinate and fund the development of federal university libraries. / Nesta pesquisa se estuda o processo de modernização da biblioteca da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) no Campus de Palmas, com o intuito de avaliar se os resultados preliminares desse processo estão articulados às necessidades de informação da comunidade acadêmica. Procura-se também compreender se há alguma relação entre a Avaliação Institucional do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior (SINAES) e o processo de modernização dessa biblioteca. A abordagem desta pesquisa é a interpretativa, a partir da concepção de avaliação de políticas públicas de Lejano (2006), a modalidade de investigação é o estudo de caso. Para coleta e análise dos dados foram utilizados recursos da triangulação de métodos por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, observação participante, questionários e entrevistas. Conclui-se que o processo de modernização da biblioteca do Campus de Palmas é considerado por seus usuários como significativo. Contudo, os seus investimentos e ações são realizados de modo fragmentado, por isso a infraestrutura para a informatização, os recursos humanos e o acervo não condizem com as necessidades dos usuários da referida biblioteca. A concepção de modernização empregada nesse processo é tecnicista e gerencial, cujo sentido é a agilidade, o controle e a padronização dos serviços das oito bibliotecas da UFT. Nota-se também que nesse processo de modernização foram priorizadas as tarefas administrativas da biblioteca, isso por que, houve um enfoque na tentativa de atender as exigências da avaliação do SINAES, em detrimento das expectativas dos membros da comunidade acadêmica. A partir desses dados conclui-se que esse processo é coerente com os antecedentes históricos e com os pressupostos do projeto de modernização da educação superior brasileira, o qual está baseado em ideais liberais e enfatiza os aspectos técnicos, o aumento da eficácia da administração pública, a produtividade, a relação custo-benefício e etc. Recomenda-se que a UFT discuta o processo de modernização com os usuários da biblioteca, para assim realizar um planejamento sistemático para a sua continuidade, sugere-se também a nomeação de uma equipe interdisciplinar para acompanhá-lo. Além disso, é importante que seja efetivada e ampliada a participação discente no Comitê Gestor do Sistema de Bibliotecas da UFT. De modo, geral identificou-se que são necessárias políticas públicas que articulem e financiem o desenvolvimento das bibliotecas universitárias federais.

Therefore, this study analyzed the process of learning and the construction of knowledge in that space, as well as its contribution in the development of the researcher student. On one hand, it is evaluated the possibility of progress among students from the intermediation of librarians concerning the knowledge of the tools available. On the other, it is analyzed if the professors of the respective courses encourage the students to use BUS's information services. The study also intended to identify the factors that could possibly interfere in the actuation of librarians as mediators in the application of educational practices. It's a case study contextualized with review in relevant literature, grounded in studies from specialists in Computer Science and related areas, with the purpose of debating about the importance of the development training of students to the use of information services and tools during their academic journey. The study focuses on concepts of University Libraries, the trajectory of UFBA's Health Library, the mediator role of the librarian in the perspective of encouraging the access and the use of services concerning souces of information specialized in the area of Health, as well as the understanding of the practices of refined bibliographic researches by the students / Trata-se de um estudo para identificar as habilidades dos estudantes ingressos nos cursos de graduação em Medicina, Enfermagem e Nutrição, quanto ao uso das fontes de acesso à informação bibliográfica disponíveis nas bases de dados especializadas na área de saúde e ciências afins, mediante o suporte das TIC, mediadas pelo bibliotecário da Seção de Referência Biblioteca Universitária de Saúde Álvaro Rubim de Pinho (BUS), da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Portanto, este estudo avaliou como acontecem, nesse espaço, o processo de aprendizagem, a construção do conhecimento e a contribuição desse ambiente para a formação do estudante pesquisador. Avalia-se, de um lado, se há progresso dos estudantes, a partir da intermediação dos (as) bibliotecários (as) quanto ao domínio das ferramentas disponíveis, e, do outro, se os docentes vinculados aos respectivos cursos estimulam os estudantes na utilização dos serviços informacionais da BUS. Buscou-se, também, identificar os fatores que podem interferir na atuação dos bibliotecários como mediadores na aplicação das práticas educativas. É um estudo de caso, contextualizado com revisão em literatura pertinente, fundamentada em estudos de especialistas na área da Ciência da Informação e áreas afins, com vistas a argumentar sobre a importância dos treinamentos de formação dos estudantes para uso dos serviços e recursos informacionais no percurso acadêmico. A Biblioteca Universitária (BU) é um dos principais veículos de disseminação da informação científica e está inserida na Universidade, que por sua vez desempenha um papel fundamental, ao lado do governo e da indústria, na geração de inovações tecnológicas que podem auxiliar no desenvolvimento da sociedade. A BU promove a aprendizagem dos clientes externos (alunos, professores e pesquisadores), contribui para a geração do conhecimento científico e tecnológico e é, por natureza como uma organização do conhecimento. No entanto, ela deve também promover o processo de criação, armazenamento e compartilhando do conhecimento organizacional no desempenho da sua função gerencial, tendo como alvo a clientela interna. The KM represents a new vision for management of modern organizations, because information and Knowledge are the main factors of competitiveness for individuals, organizations and nations. The University Library (UL) is a major vehicle for dissemination of scientific information and is inserted at the university, which in turn plays a key role, along with government and industry, in the generation of technological innovations that may help in the development of society. UL promotes learning from external customers (students, teachers and researchers), contributes to the generation of scientific and technological Knowledge and is, by nature, considered as a Knowledge organization. However, it should also promote the process of creating, storing ans sharing of organizational knowledge in the performance of its management function, targeting its employees. The main challenges to organizations involved with the KM focus on management of cultural and behavioral changes and creating an organizational context conducive to the creation, use and sharing of information and knowledge. It was developed i n this work a quantitative descriptive-analytical research method using a comparative study, where we studied a sample of organizations from both countries. Parte-se de uma visão histórica da radiodifusão educativa em território nacional, incluindo o trajeto realizado pelas emissoras universitárias em nosso país. O trabalho também analisa a legislação brasileira vigente, fornecendo um panorama operacional dos instrumentos legais existentes na atualidade. Destaca-se ainda o caminho da radiodifusão educativa em São Paulo de sua gênese até os dias atuais, apontando os percalços e as diferenças ocorridas entre o desenvolvimento das rádios educativas entre este estado da federação e o restante do país, para enfim realizar uma análise dos aspectos econômicos, políticos, sociais e legais pelas quais poderia passar a edificação de uma emissora com fins pedagógicos nesta cidade. / Abstract: It is a study of the macro-atmosphere of the city of Araçatuba, São Paulo, Brazil to verify if there is viability for the installation of a radio educational university. It starts with an historical insight into educational broadcasting in Brazil, including their progress. The thesis also analyzes the current Brazilian law, there by giving a panoramic view of the current legal process required. It also highlights the progress of educational broadcasting in the state of São Paulo from its beginning until now, pointing out the difficulties and differences between the development of this educational radio and to those of the rest of the country. In conclusion, the thesis covers an analysis of the economical, political, social and legal aspects required for the construction of a broadcasting station with educational objectives in Araçatuba. / Mestre

Its main objective is to propose criteria that can be applied to university libraries in the formation of their special collections, based on the Paulo Geyer Library experience. Characterizes the Paulo Geyer Library as a guardian of university bibliographic heritage of S & T in the context of the School of Chemistry. Analyzes libraries as memory places. It also tackles the importance of university libraries as guardians of bibliographic heritage of Science and Technology, and the relevance of developing special collections. It proposes to highlight the significance of Paulo Geyer Library as well as the conception of heritage, analyzing it according to national and international legislation. Ranking the works which could be part of the special collection using tables. It defines some criteria for selecting the works. As a methodology it carries out the bibliographic research with characteristics of applied research given its practical interest.

O trabalho também analisa a legislação brasileira vigente, fornecendo um panorama operacional dos instrumentos legais existentes na atualidade. Destaca-se ainda o caminho da radiodifusão educativa em São Paulo de sua gênese até os dias atuais, apontando os percalços e as diferenças ocorridas entre o desenvolvimento das rádios educativas entre este estado da federação e o restante do país, para enfim realizar uma análise dos aspectos econômicos, políticos, sociais e legais pelas quais poderia passar a edificação de uma emissora com fins pedagógicos nesta cidade. / It is a study of the macro-atmosphere of the city of Araçatuba, São Paulo, Brazil to verify if there is viability for the installation of a radio educational university. It starts with an historical insight into educational broadcasting in Brazil, including their progress. The thesis also analyzes the current Brazilian law, there by giving a panoramic view of the current legal process required. It also highlights the progress of educational broadcasting in the state of São Paulo from its beginning until now, pointing out the difficulties and differences between the development of this educational radio and to those of the rest of the country. In conclusion, the thesis covers an analysis of the economical, political, social and legal aspects required for the construction of a broadcasting station with educational objectives in Araçatuba.

For that, a quantitative, bibliographic and exploratory research was carried out, having as subjects the students of the Law course of the Legal Sciences Center of the UFPB. The research took as the main research instruments, questionnaires formulated through the SERVQUAL methodology adapted pertinent to the use of the evaluation within the scope of the library and its services. The results showed that the quality dimensions pointed out in the library services that relate from their physical structure to the behavior of their servers present flaws that generally interfere in the provision of a quality service by the CCJ / UFPB, affecting the user of their services in meeting their expectations and needs in the educational environment. This result shows that these evaluations have presented consistent impacts on the improvement of the library environment, helping in their management planning, thus helping their mission within the University and developing possibilities for the formation of quality standards that can be adopted in their services. / O presente estudo tem como objetivo a avaliação da qualidade dos serviços da biblioteca setorial do CCJ/UFPB campus I sob a perspectiva do seu usuário discente. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa, bibliográfica e exploratória, tendo como sujeitos os discentes do curso de Direito do Centro de Ciências Jurídicas da UFPB. A investigação tomou como principais instrumentos de pesquisa, questionários formulados através da metodologia SERVQUAL adaptada pertinente ao uso da avaliação no âmbito da biblioteca e de seus serviços. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que as dimensões de qualidade apontadas nos serviços da biblioteca que dizem respeito desde sua estrutura física até o comportamento de seus servidores, apresentam falhas que interferem de maneira geral na prestação de um serviço de qualidade por parte da biblioteca setorial do CCJ/UFPB, afetando o usuário dos seus serviços na satisfação de suas expectativas e necessidades no ambiente educacional. Este resultado nos mostra que essas avaliações têm apresentado impactos consistentes na ação de melhorias no ambiente de biblioteca ajudando no seu planejamento gerencial, auxiliando assim sua missão no âmbito da Universidade e desenvolvendo possibilidades de formação de padrões de qualidades que possam ser adotados em seus serviços.
