Zpětná vazba v procesu řízení a vedení nelékařského zdravotnického personálu a řízení jeho pracovního výkonu / Feedback in the management and leadership of non-medical healthcare professionals and management of their work performance

Houžvičková Zvelebilová, Růžena January 2018 (has links)
In my dissertation, I discuss the problematic of feedback in a leadership of medical non- doctor personnel and in directing its working performance. My aim was to comprehend and elucidate the process of feedback between superior and subordinate personnel, specifically between bedside nurses/assistive personnel and a charge nurse. As a secondary objective, I decided to investigate potential areas for improvement in leading management and to suggest possible advancements, which could contribute to more effective directing of work performance through the use of feedback. The dissertation is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first theoretical part, I begin with defining the meaning of feedback. Following, I introduce topics that include: feedback in social communication, feedback in the process of directing work performance and work motivation. In the second empirical part, I present research conducted with the use of qualitative methodology, where the reader can view the discussed problematic from the perspective of subordinate (bedside nurses/assistive personnel) and superior (charge nurses) personnel. Key words: feedback, social communication, work performance, medical non-doctor personnel, bedside nurse, assistive personnel, healthcare, nursing, work motivation

Kvalitet i samspelet mellan chef och medarbetare, arbetstillfredsställelse, rapporterad arbetsprestation och mental hälsa vid distansarbete / Quality of leader-follower relationship, job satisfaction, reported work performance and mental health for remote workers

Anisi, Darya January 2021 (has links)
The Corona pandemic has meant a tremendous change when it comes to remote work. Most companies evaluate how to organize work in regards of working from office or remotely. This study has examined the quality of the relationship between leader and follower (LMX), job satisfaction, work performance and level of mental health among 291 white collar employees from six different lines of business in the private sector in Sweden after one year of remote work. The results show no correlation between amount of remote work and quality of LMX, job satisfaction, work performance nor mental health among the employees. However, significant correlations are found between how satisfied the employees are with working remotely, regardless of how much they work remote, and the quality of LMX, job satisfaction, work performance and their mental health. The results from this study are in line with earlier research showing that there are significant correlations between high quality LMX and high levels of job satisfaction, work performance and mental health among the employees. The results support that these correlations are also valid for remote workers.

Summaries in English, Zulu and Southern Sotho / The primary aim of the study was to explore the relationship between career adaptability and organisational commitment of employees who work in the investment sector. The secondary aim was to ascertain whether individuals from various demographics (age groups, gender, ethnicity, qualifications, tenure and business unit) differed significantly regarding their career adaptability and organisational commitment. A cross-sectional quantitative, correlational research approach was followed where a non-probability convenience sample (n=200) of permanent employees in the investment sector was used. The instruments used for the study were the biographical questionnaire, Career Adapt Abilities Scale (CAAS) and Organisational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ). The research results revealed statistically significant relationships between career adaptability and organisational commitment of employees who work in the investment sector in terms of correlational and inferential statistical analyses. There were statistically significant relationships between the demographic variables with some dimensions of career adaptability and organisational commitment. The test of mean differences revealed that some differences exist in career adaptability and organisational commitment in terms of demographical variables. The study provides recommendations for use by industrial psychology professionals in terms of career adaptability and organisational commitment practices, specifically within the investment sector. / Inhloso engaphezulu yalolucwaningo yabe ingukucubungula ubudlelwano phakathi kokuzinza ezifundweni-msebenzi nokuzibophela kwabasebenzi ezinkampanini zasengxenyeni yokukhulisa umnotho wezimali. Hybridarbete, det nya arbetssättet efter Covid-19 : Samspelet mellan situationsanpassat ledarskap, arbetsutförande och psykosocial arbetsmiljö / Hybrid work, the new way of working after Covid-19 : The interplay between situational leadership, work performance and psychosocial work environment

Engström, Emilia, Melin, Jessica January 2022 (has links)
Title: Hybrid work, the new way of working after Covid-19. - The interplay between situational leadership, work performance and psychosocial work environment. Problem: Covid-19 has meant a changed work situation in the service sector, which has led to hybrid work being implemented. With the leader's central task, to influence the employees to achieve the organization's goals, the leadership changes and in which context the leadership is exercised because employees are partly at a distance. Working in a hybrid workplace also means a changed work environment for the employees. Hybrid work and these work environments can thus be identified as a challenge for leadership to influence employees' work performance. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to create an understanding of how employees' work performance can be affected by the manager's situation-adapted leadership and a changed psychosocial work environment in a hybrid workplace. Method: The study is based on a quantitative method with an abductive approach. Surveys were designed in Microsoft Forms and answered by 70 respondents, including 60 employees and 10 managers, who use a hybrid workplace. Results: Depending on how managers adapt their leadership style, in terms of communication, adaptability, accessibility and social support, it has a positive or negative impact on employees' work performance. Managers should consider the individual's preferences regarding the psychosocial work environment, as good psychosocial work environment strengthens work performance.

“...vi måste också ha en ganska så stor arbetsprestation” : Ledarskap inom socialtjänsten och dess påverkan på socialsekreterares arbetsprestation / “…we must also have quite a high work performance” : Leadership in social services and its impact on social workers' work performance

Berntsson, Isak, Simmeborn, Wilma January 2024 (has links)
Social workers for children and young people are a professional group where there is a high workload and stress-related sick leave. It is stated in the Social Services Act that the exercise of authority in social services should be done promptly, which requires that social workers have a high work performance. The purpose of the study was to examine leadership in social services and its impact on the work performance of social workers based on a thematic analysis. The result that emerged about leadership is that social workers and managers in children and young people describe the positive characteristics of the manager linked to trust-based leadership and trust-based management. Trust, clarity, and responsiveness emerge as the most significant characteristics for good leadership. Work performance has been defined in terms of task performance, contextual performance, and counterproductive behaviors. Positive stress is the main factor contributing to high job performance according to the social workers. Furthermore, the results show that the collegial support and well-being in the work group influence the social workers' job performance and that the manager influences these aspects indirectly in his leadership. The manager's direct influence is visible in the social worker's workload, how the manager communicates, gives feedback and that the manager is present and makes time for his or her employees.

Henning, Ingrid 30 November 2006 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / Health care has typical challenges and stress factors as employees deal with people in a very personal manner. This exclusively client-centred environment requires special skills from employees if they wish to perform well. In addition to excellent interpersonal and stress management skills, they need to be able to handle their own and patients' emotions well. These skills can be referred to as emotional intelligence competencies. Emotional intelligence is a relatively new concept with many possibilities if applied correctly. This study involves 114 employees, their colleagues and supervisors in two health-care organisations. The 360° Emotional Competency Profiler was used together with the internal performance evaluation scores, and statistical techniques such as t-tests and discriminant analysis were utilized. It was found that certain emotional intelligence dimensions and work performance are related to a certain extent. However, other factors also need to be considered if one wants to make predictions in this regard. / Industrial and Organisational Psychology / MCOM (Industrial and Organisational Psychology)

'n Beplannings- en beheermodel vir welsynsorganisasies / A planning and control model for welfare organisations

Reynolds, Coenraad Christoffel 06 1900 (has links)
(Maatskaplike werk)

Training and development programme : performance of employees at a South Africa platinum mine

Tshikovhi, Elelwani Rosemary 22 April 2013 (has links)
This study sought to determine the impact of a training and development (T&D) programme on the perceived performance of human resource assistants at a platinum mine in South Africa according to the following four performance dimensions: (i) personal (ii) customer; (iii) internal business; and (iv) learning and growth. A non-experimental design was used for this study, which was predominately quantitative in nature. Data was collected using a structured, self-administered questionnaire, which consisted of closed-ended questions. Based on the results obtained in this study, it was apparent that the T&D programme contributed significantly to an increase in the performance of employees. However, there are certain areas that can be improved in order to maximise and optimise the learning of employees. Recommendations were made regarding areas for improvement and possible future research. / Human Resource Management / M. Tech. (Human Resources Development)

The relationship between attitudes towards supervisory support and work performance of employees in an education department in Mpumalanga

Mabotha, Abner Khutso 09 May 2013 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between attitudes towards supervisory support after training and work performance of employees at the Department of Education’s Nkangala District in Mpumalanga during 2008. The sample comprised a complete sampling frame of HR and finance personnel. A five-point Likert scale was used to evaluate the attitudes of respondents towards supervisory support, and their work performance scores were correlated with the ratings of the attitudes towards supervisory support after training. Pearson’s product- moment correlation coefficient (PPM) was used to assess the relationship between the two variables. The results showed no significant relationship between attitudes towards supervisory support and work performance. The ANOVA test found that a significant (p= .016) difference only existed between attitudes towards supervisory support and educational level. The hypothesis stated in this study was therefore rejected. / Human Resource Management / M. Tech. (Human Resource Development)
