On the Family Health Strategy, teams must organize their work process, guiding themselves by the principles of the Health System, especially the integrality, which enables the enhancement of a more unwavering health care, focused on the users and in their multiple health needs. Such assumption supported the accomplishment of this study, which has the purpose of analyzing the work process of the Family Health teams under the perspective of health care integrality, as well as identifying the improvements and challenges related to the implementation of an unabridged care by these teams. It is a qualitative research, performed with 33 professionals of Family Health and Oral Health teams from three Family Health unities of a town in the forest zone of Minas Gerais. As instrument of data collection, a press conference with the professionals of each worked team was made in two points: the first one with the purpose of learning the understandings about integrality; the second one aroused the professionals’ reflection regarding their practices, from the results of a self-assessment performed in 2013 on the second year of the National Program of Quality and Access Improvements in the town. It was given emphasis on the dimensions of Permanent Education, Work Process and Integral Health Care on the Access and Quality Improvement Self-Assessment. For the analysis, the acquired information on the second point was confronted with the information on the first point, in order to check the consistency between the team professionals’ knowing and practice. Complementary, documents from the town’s Health Department were also analyzed. The analysis was performed in light of the content analyses proposed by Bardin, and allowed the creation of analysis categories, which composed both studied points. The results unveiled some difficulties of the team professionals to articulate the concept of Integrality with professional practices, which brings them to obstacles that interfere on the work process organization towards integrality itself, such as: poor work contracts, lack of permanent education program, lack of integrated action planning, problems regarding reference and counter reference, intersectorial communication bureaucracy; issues regarding Access and Quality Improvement Self-Assessment application for the teams and lack of feedback from the results of this self-assessment are amongst these obstacles as well. It has been verified that the work process in the town is not orientated by integrality. Instead, it is structured in biomedical curative molds. It is hoped that this research may provide the actions to rearrange the work process on the teams under the perspective of integrality, aiming to improve the health care quality in the town.

Pandemins påverkan på revisionsprocessen : en kvalitativ studie om pandemins påverkan på revisorernas arbetsprocess och användningen av digitala verktyg / Pandemic’s impact on the audit process : qualitative study on how the pandemic affects auditors work process and use of digital tools

Abu-Tour, Ajat, Iskandarani, Aicha January 2021 (has links)
The pandemic covid-19 had a major impact on the working life as workers are urged to comply with restrictions, which include distancing themselves from each other. This means that the auditors in this study had to work from home to reduce the spread of infection. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the covid-19 pandemic has affected the auditors work process and which digital tools have been used during the pandemic. A qualitative method has been used in the study to answer the research question and the purpose of the study. Six auditors from BDO, Frejs revisorer AB, PwC, EY and Mazars have been interviewed. Responses were then analyzed using the study's collection of theories. The collection of data is reported in the results chapter, which shows that the pandemic has affected the auditors both negatively and positively. What has been negatively affected is the auditors social working life, while the positive impact is that it has become more efficient to work from home. Finally, digital tools have been a great support in the auditors work process during the pandemic. Based on the empirical data collection, the pandemic could last many years. The theory in the study and the empirical data collection highlights the possibilities with digitization that makes the auditors independent of the workplace. The auditor’s well-being during the pandemic is what should be put in focus as the pandemic could last many years.

Gilla oss!

Appelberg, Jonas January 2018 (has links)
This dissertation contains an exploratory study of how four Swedish media companies has decided to use social media in their daily work, and also how they in fact use them. What are the goals with implementing social media, how do they differ between different companies and do the goals transfer into the newsrooms? The four companies studied are Sveriges Radio, Aftonbladet, Dalarnas Tidningar and Gotlands Media. Media companies that differ from one another both in size, geographical coverage and economy. They range from small local newspapers to national public service radio and the biggest tabloid on the Swedish market. The methods used are qualitative research interviews and field studies as well as quantitative data analysis. The theoretical chapter helps define traditional journalism and journalistic practice. The concepts of boundaries, participatory cultures and normalizing of work methods are also discussed and helps build a context for the analysis of the empirical data. Some key findings from the study are that there are more similarities than differences between the various companies in both how they aim to use social media and how they in fact use them. That the digital development in the surrounding society are much faster than the implementation of new technologies in the newsrooms. Also, that there are differences between how the companies aim to use social media and the actual usage. For instance, all companies strive for a more active dialog with the audience in their visionary work, but has a hard time turning this into reality. There is also notable that social media in this study do not change the journalistic fundamental routines and traditions. The studied journalists are still in control of their own content and they aim to meet the same standard in journalistic quality when working in social media. It is also evident that Facebook is invaluable for all the studied companies, which gives Facebook an interesting indirect power over the journalistic work process and product. Finally, the study finds that it is hard to engage the audience in an active collaboration even when working with social media.

Continuous Integration Pipelines to Assess Programming Assignments : Test Like a Professional

Strand, Anton January 2020 (has links)
Examiners of programming assignments in higher education and people in the software industry both need to test and review code. However, the assessing techniques used are often quite different. The IT industry often uses agile work methods like continuous integration and automated tests, while examiners either do manual assessments or rely on code grading tools. The students will most likely become developers and work using agile processes. Therefore, there are possible benefits of universities trying to imitate the work processes of the software industry. The purpose of this study was to develop a workflow for programming assignments inspired by continuous integration, Scrum, and GitLab flow. The workflow was developed based on the requirements of Linnaeus University and tested on one of their programming assignments. It showed that a simplified agile work process is suitable for programming assignments since the demonstration fulfilled all of the predefined requirements. However, examiners might miss some of the workflow’s benefits if the programming assignment can not be tested automatically since it will require more manual work while grading.

Flexibel tredjepartslogistik : En fallstudie om TPL-aktörens arbete med kundanpassning / Flexible Third-party Logistics : A Case Study of the TPL Actor's Work with Customer Adaption

Meisingseth, Anna-Sara, Wernfeldt, Frida January 2021 (has links)
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to investigate how companies in third-party logistics operate within customized warehouse solutions to identify which factors affect the work processes.  Method – To fulfil the purpose of the study, a literature study was conducted to create a theoretical framework to obtain an understanding of the subject TPL. Furthermore, to fulfil the purpose, a case study was conducted at a TPL company. The case study consisted of interviews and observations in which generated the empirical data for the analysis. The outcome of the data was interpreted and analysed by triangulation in order to detect patterns from different perspectives.  Findings – It can be stated that the work conducted in TPL-companies with customized warehousing solutions varies, due to the fact that different customers, with different products are handled in different ways. Furthermore, it emerged that there are at least 11 factors, both external and internal, that are estimated to have a direct impact on the work process in TPL- companies with customized warehousing solutions.  Implications – The results of the study have contributed to increasing the understanding of how TPL-companies work with customized warehousing solutions and also contributed to identify a number of factors that affect the work processes. With the result obtained, the study has contributed to supplementing the lack of research concerning TPL from a TPL perspective.  By visualizing the work process in TPL companies with customized warehouse solutions and highlighting factors that affect the work process in customized warehouses, this study can contribute to support the internal work in TPL companies. Furthermore, the improvement measures presented for seven of the factors can be used as a tool for TPL companies.  Limitations – The limitations of the study are that only one TPL company was included in the case study and three of the case company’s employees participated in the empirical collection. If multiple TPL companies and respondents with different areas of responsibility, one could assume that more factors than the 11 found in this study, could have been identified. Thus, the generalizability is limited for the study.

Implementering av nytt IT-system i en större organisation : Möjligheter och problem ur ett användarperspektiv / Implementation of new IT system in a large organization : Opportunities and problems from a user perspective

Hassani, Aydin January 2018 (has links)
This study is based on an organizational change within the Länsförsäkringar group. Länsförsäkringar consists of 23 local and independent insurance companies operating under the same brand. By introducing a joint work method for settlement of building damages which is related to the support system Meps 2.0 to all insurance companies inside the group, it was intended to increase customer satisfaction. The overall aim of the study is to investigate what can be learned and understood from the users' perspectives, in this case the claims adjusters, about opportunities and obstacles for learning new ways of working in connection with the implementation of a new IT system. Understanding the ways in which staff experiences can be used to develop a common way of working in an organization is a further purpose of the study. In this study, a survey is conducted which forms the basis for case studies on two selected companies inside Länsförsäkringar group. Case studies consist of individual interviews with a group manager and three employees at each company as well as observations of the informants. Empirical data is processed and analyzed regarding literature and through thematic analysis as a method. The results show that structures together with relational and social aspects play an important role in implementing successful change in an organization. The importance of people's active involvement in a change is emphasized and it is found necessary that the people involved understand what a certain change means and why it is needed. Furthermore, the results achieved show that Communities of Practice can be used in an organization to benefit from the strengths of the community in different areas and to develop new cultural resources like new ways of working in an organization.

Tekniska konsulter i produktutvecklingsprocesser : En undersökning om avgörande faktorer i utformningen av den tekniska konsultrollen inom produktutveckling / Engineering consultants in product development processes : A study regarding the factors that determine the role of engineering consultants in product development

Klum, Victor, Marmolin, Fredrik January 2022 (has links)

Bengtsson, Peter, Tassinari Rogalin, Oliver January 2017 (has links)
When entering a fairway in Swedish waters, vessels are affected by various restrictions. These restrictions are related to the draught of the vessel, its maneuvering capabilities and other factors which affect its capability to be conducted in a safe manner when inside the fairway. Prior to 2009, these restrictions were implemented by Sjöfartsverket (the Swedish Maritime Agency). In 2009, Transportstyrelsen (the Swedish Transport Agency) was created and took on the responsibility for some parts of the process behind developing these restrictions. In this study the focus is on the effects of this reorganization on the process itself from the viewpoint of those who are working with it. A qualitative study using interviews was conducted with people who are in daily contact with this work. The result shows a process that has undergone minor changes but is also in many ways still similar. The participants in this study describe smaller differences in the practical, daily work and the communication that this work requires, but they also paint a picture of a situation where the change is still happening and where old routines and habits still influence their work.

Repercussões da avaliação PMAQ-AB no processo de trabalho das equipes de Saúde da Família / Repercussions of the PMAQ-AB evaluation in the work process of the Family Health teams

Muramoto, Flávia Tiemi 05 September 2017 (has links)
The objective of this study was to analyze the repercussions of the PMAQ-AB evaluation in the work process of the family health teams evaluated. In order to approach this object, we use as theoretical reference, the work process in health and the evaluation of health services in the context of Primary Health Care (PHC), placing the Program of Improvement of Access and Quality of Primary Care (PMAQ-AB ). It is a qualitative research, in the form of a case study, carried out in the Regional Health Department V-Barretos (DRS-V), whose sample was constituted by ten professionals, the interviews were semi-structured and performed in the workplace. The analysis of the interviews followed the analysis of the thematic content of Bardin. According to Marx and Gonçalves, and the three elements that compose it: object, means and purpose, PMAQ-AB presented itself as an instrument capable of inducing changes mainly related to the environment and the hard and light technologies such as: infrastructure improvements, supply expansion and area redistribution. We identified the strengthening of living labor and light technologies in the work of the team. The results allowed us to conclude that it was considered mostly as an essential tool to identify gaps in the work process, to induce critical reflections based on the reality experienced by the teams, and to contribute to a better organization of the work process. The challenges encountered by the teams were the difficulty of implementing the Integrative and Complementary Practices (ICPs), the turnover of professionals, lack of institutional support, lack of support from managers and the lack of permanent education actions. In this study, we verified some weaknesses of PMAQ-AB, such as the strong relationship between the instrument and the transfer of financial resources, the lack of spaces for data retrieval, and the possibility of masking the actions in the teams. We believe that this study may contribute to a new look and to the development of new work from the institutionalization of evaluation in the health services, from the view of the evaluators that compose this process and also to validate the PMAQ-AB evaluation instrument

Ferraz, Dulce Aurélia de Souza 27 January 2009 (has links)
The implementation STD/AIDS prevention activities into primary health care (PHC) facilities is proposed in Brazil and internationally since the 1990s. Understood as a sustainable strategy to amplify the coverage and access of such activities, its among the priorities of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. This study evaluates the implementation of STD/AIDS prevention activities into one primary health care (PHC) facility organized by the Family Health Strategy, located at the São Paulos metropolitan region. It assumes that the potential of such implementation will be higher in PHC facilities oriented towards comprehensive care. Its an evaluative research, through an in depth case study, using semistructured interviews and direct observation of the activities of USF. Results show that the FHCF technological organization doesnt differ significantly from the traditional Brazilian PHC facilities Individualize medical care determines the work organization and prevention is limited, basically, to standardized orientations, as in the sanitary education model. Specific STD/AIDS prevention orientations are delivered in some of the FHCF preexisting activities; the activity specifically implemented to STD/AIDS prevention is the testing for HIV, syphilis and hepatites B and C. The findings indicate that the dominant technological characteristics limit the potential for comprehensive care, particularly damaging the preventive activities done through dialogue and that require singular approaches. However, the execution of some actions to prevent STD/AIDS, as well as its recovery plan in discursive, indicates potential for integration. The implementation process may introduce in the daily work of these facilities some complex questions and new values and, therefore, it may tension the predominant health care model, contributing to the building of new and better technological models oriented towards comprehensive health care. We consider that the challenges to concretize, in the prevention activities, the values that orientate the ethical and normative plan of the Brazilian response demand a bigger investment on the technological definition on these activities, as well as in their implementation process
