In this qualitative case study, the beliefs and practices regarding codeswitching in the EFL classroom are compared between selected teachers of English in upper-secondary and compulsory school (school years 7-9) from Sweden. Through semi-structured interview questions, the data were collected from six teachers from each of the respective levels of education. The interviews were conducted by the researcher on a one-to-one basis with the informants of the study. The answers showed several differences and similarities between the teachers. While both groups of teachers said that codeswitching was to varying extent necessary, the upper-secondary school teachers seemingly had a more negative view towards codeswitching in the EFL classroom. Most of the upper-secondary school teachers codeswitched when for example teaching difficult areas such as grammar by making direct comparisons to the Swedish language. The compulsory school English teachers were less negative towards the use of the L1 and often stated that codeswitching was necessary and had several uses in the EFL classroom.  According to the compulsory school English teachers, codeswitching could aid when giving complex instructions, feedback or be used to show student comprehension. When the teachers were asked about whether the guideline documents affected their choice of language in the classroom, four out of six of the upper-secondary school teachers said that their language selection was affected by the directives to varying extent. The compulsory school English teachers’ selection of language was not affected by their guideline documents, which was expected since these do not give directives regarding language selection. / I den här kvalitativa fallstudien jämförs tron ​​och bruk gällande kodväxling i engelskundervisningen mellan ett antal av gymnasieskolans engelsklärare och högstadiets engelsklärare från Sverige. Genom semistrukturerade intervjufrågor samlades data från sex lärare från respektive skolnivå. Intervjuerna utfördes av forskaren på en-till-en-basis med varje lärare som deltog i studien. Svaren visade flera skillnader och likheter mellan lärarna. Medan båda grupperna av lärare sågs att kodväxling i varierande utsträckning var nödvändigt, visade gymnasielärarna en mer negativ syn på koderna i engelskklassrummet. De flesta gymnasieskolelärare bytte kod när de exempelvis undervisade om svåra områden så som grammatik genom att göra direkta jämförelser med det svenska språket. De högstadielärarna var mindre negativa mot användningen av förstaspråket och anförde att kodbytande var nödvändiga och hade användning i engelskklassrummet. Enligt de högstadielärarna kan kodväxling hjälpa till när man ger komplexa instruktioner, återkoppling eller användas för att visa studentförståelse. När lärarna frågades om huruvida riktlinjedokumenten påverkade deras språkval i klassrummet, sade fyra av sex av gymnasieskolelärarna att deras språkval påverkades i varierande grad av direktiven. Högstadielärarnas val av språk påverkades inte av deras riktlinjer, vilket var förväntat då dessa inte nämner lärarens språkanvändning.

Uppsatsen är en biografisk och receptionshistorisk studie av en svensk nutida konstnär. Tidningarnas recensioner och artiklar, personliga samtal med Johan Thunberg och analys av Thunbergs målningar ger underlag till uppsatsen. Materialet har hämtats från bibliotekets mikrofilmsarkiv, tidningarnas internetarkiv och konstnärens hemsida på Internet med länkar till Konstnärslexikonet Amanda och Svenska konstnärer.   Vid informationsinsamlandet av underlaget till uppsatsen har långsamt en ”bild” av Johan Thunbergs konstnärliga verksamhet vuxit fram som idag år 2011 kan ses som en mindre affärsrörelse. En intressant del i affärsrörelsen, förutom den konstnärliga kreativiteten att framställa originalmålningar, är marknadsföringen av enmansföretaget. En särskild analys av denna marknadsföring har gjorts.   Slutligen har en analys av studien gjorts och slutresultatet redovisats.

En fallstudie inom sjukvården har genomförts där fokus legat på hur informations- och kommunikationsteknik (IKT) såsom datorer och telefoner, skapar avbrott för personalen samt hur och om denna fragmentering av arbete kan undvikas. Tidigare forskning om fragmenterat arbete har ofta fokuserat på tid och frekvens för avbrott, denna studie vill bryta med det perspektivet. Det huvudsakliga datainsamlandet har bestått av 17 observationstillfällen med situerade intervjuer vid två kirurgiska vårdavdelningar och en mottagning. Materialet har analyserats och nio brukskvaliteter har tagits fram för att beskriva arbetet. Dessa brukskvaliteter har sedan kopplats till fragmentering och hur denna kan motverkas. De huvudsakliga slutsatserna av studien är att IKT medverkar till en fragmentering av arbetet men att denna går att motverka. Motverkande av fragmentering kan ske på ren interaktionsnivå men också på verksamhets- och organisationsnivå, där bland annat regler för hur kommunikationen ser ut och hur IKT tas fram är viktiga. Studien visar på att en naiv användarcentrering vid utveckling av IKT kan ge upphov till fragmenterat arbete för personerna som direkt och indirekt berörs av systemet. Förutsättningarna för att skapa ett helhetsperspektiv med hjälp av tillgänglig, delad och portabel information har även visat sig viktiga. Uppsättande av gränser mellan olika aktiviteter kan ifrågasättas och avbrott kan ha både positiva och negativa aspekter. Det är alltså varken önskvärt eller möjligt att motverka alla typer av avbrott.

This bachelor thesis goal is to explore how paganism has expressed itself within the world of digitalgames through three different examples. It builds onto already existing research around videogames and history use as well as my own term paper that touched upon this subject. This thesis willbe done using academic literature concerning digital games, history use and paganism from Russiaas well as Japan.

When working under water at great depths, or in tough environments, remotely controlled underwater vehicles, so called ROV:s, are a good tool too use. With the help of these robots it is possible to work for longer periods of time and at larger depths then with ordinary divers. Ocean Robotics is a company from Linköping, Sweden, that has over 40 years of experience with ROV:s. They produce several different models for different kind of jobs. The purpose of this project was to develop a concept of a device that keeps the tension constant on the tether that connects the ROV with the operator. The tension needs to be constant when the tether is being rolled in on and out from the winch. The work was executed on behalf of Ocean Robotics and a prerequisite was that it should be possible to integrate the device with the winch system they have today. The work have followed Ulrich and Eppingers method for product development and together with requirements from the contractor several concepts was generated. The concepts were validated in a decision matrix and the concepts with the highest score was modeled in the CAD-program CREO Parametrics. The concepts got further developed and was compared against each other once again. Which generated the final concept. Furthermore a couple of friction tests were executed to find appropriate materials for the construction. The final concept will be mounted on the winch and connected to Ocean Robotics self reversing screw. To measure the tension on the tether a load cell is used and the tether is fed by a rubberized wheel that is driven by an electric motor. To adjust the force around the tether a trapezoidal thread is driven by another electric motor, which adjust the pinch wheels height. The tether goes as a tangent between the two wheels that has a profile that insures that the force goes around the tether.

The genocide in Srebrenica is described as "UN's darkest hour" and is the largest genocide in modern time after the Holocaust. 2020 marks the 25th year anniversary since the genocide took place in Srebrenica.  The purpose of this study is to answer how history teachers present genocide in their teaching and how teachers discuss the genocide in Srebrenica. This study is based on a qualitative method through data collection that is obtained from interviews with five different teachers who work in Swedish schools. The study's theoretical frame of reference is based on historical awareness, use of history and non-use of history to promote understanding of teaching choices and teaching methods. This study presents that the teachers use students' emotions through discussions and movies when depicting genocide. The Holocaust is presented as the premiss of the teaching regarding genocide. The genocide in Srebrenica is only mentioned or exemplified in connection with, and in relation to, other genocides such as the Holocaust. The teachers confirm that there is a lack of time, uncertainty, and knowledge regarding the genocide in Srebrenica. The consequence of this is that a large part of the society neither relates to nor barely knows about this genocide. Europe's and the UN's biggest stain becomes hidden, and the victims do not get the attention and justice they deserve. When ignorance exists in relation to the genocide in Srebrenica, we will not be able to reach the message that is often associated with The Holocaust - Never again.
