Framtagning av ett fästelementssystem

Byary, Hamza January 2018 (has links)
This study focuses on providing innovative solutions to assist workers lacking technical knowledge at Husmuttern AB to assemble its products. The Swedish company produces standardized building-sections that can be assembled to build model-houses, and other forms of buildings in mobile factories. The company’s vision is to provide opportunities for inexperienced labors and newcomers to Sweden, and so playing a positive role in integrating immigrants into the Swedish market and society. To actualize this ambition, this paper aims specifically at developing tools/products that assist unskilled workers to reduce the margin of errors in determining where and how the screws will be placed when combining the wooden beams and plywood boards, which form the building sections.   Semis-structured interviews with workers at Husmuttern AB were conducted to identify problems associated with the working process. Ullman’s product-developing method was employed to develop the facilitative tools. Several concepts were developed and compared in an attempt to find the best solution for the given problem(s), and eventually two proposed products were presented: the first is a template where holes are located to mark where the screws should be placed. The other product is basically an inclined plane with a drill-guide to direct the screw in the correct gradient and prevent the screw from moving through the process.

Hur uppfattar gymnasielever funktionsanalys? : En fenomenografisk studie

Wiklund, Dennis January 2020 (has links)
The present degree project has its origins in a curiosity about the practical potential of music theory teaching at the upper secondary school level. According to research, music theory teaching often becomes theoretical without clear connections to authentic music practice. The purpose of this essay has been to gain a deeper insight into how upper secondary school students perceive the music theoretical concept of functional harmony and what it can be used for. Materials have been collected through six interviews with upper secondary school students and one former upper secondary school student who are taking or recently have taken Pitch and music theory courses at upper secondary school in Sweden. The material has been analyzed from a phenomenographic perspective. The results show that functional analysis and its practical use can be perceived in some different ways. For example, one perception of functional analysis is that it is an academic music description that is not very practically applicable. One perception of what functional analysis can be used for is to motivate with which character something should be played. In the last chapter the result is discussed based on literature and my own thoughts, not least from a pedagogical perspective how teaching could be adapted so that students receive as broad and deep understanding of functional analysis as possible.

Noveski Gustavsson, Rode January 2021 (has links)
Denmark has a long tradition of teaching aural skills i.e. ear training and to educate ear training teachers. Books from Danish authors are still extensively being used within the Nordic countries. The function analysis system was introduced the same year in Denmark and Sweden, but Denmark has developed more terminology than its Swedish counterpart. The purpose of this study was to research how music majors are expressing themselves about newly introduced function analysis terminology and how they experience the use for the terminology in their profession as musicians. The study was made through a survey and a semi structured interview with six participants and the data was analysed according to the social cultural theory. The participants expressed themselves mainly positive about the new terminology and said it gave them a more nuanced picture of the harmony. They also found the new terminology useful for their profession as musicians. The results suggest that music majors would be interested in having a more comprehensive system as they use in Denmark and that teachers in aural training should consider incorporating this new terminology in their teaching.

Ett steg mot Nollvisionen : En utvärdering av Polismyndighetens utbildningssatsning ”Akut omhändertagande av självmordsnära person” / A step toward vision zero : A qualitative evaluation of the Police Authority's course “Acute care of a suicidal individual”

Jarlsbo, Mathilde January 2021 (has links)
Suicide is a worldwide public health issue which has substantial consequences and The World Health Organization (WHO) fears that mental illness will be the largest public health matter in 2030. About 40 times a day Swedish police intervene in suicide cases (polisen.se, 2020) and on Gotland there are both suicide attempts and fulfilled suicide beyond the national average (Public Health Agency, 2020). Since the first quarter of 2020, the education initiative Acute care of suicidal persons" (AOSP) has been conducted in line with a government assignment that the Police Authority has undertaken. This study uses semi-structured interviews to investigate and evaluate the Police Authority's educational efforts and work to prevent suicide on Gotland. Furthermore, the study examines the perceived benefit of the educational initiative AOSP and how the participants experience their self-efficacy to intervene with people who struggle with suicidal behaviour. Previous research shows that qualified and educated police officers will play a crucial role in suicide prevention (Marzano et al., 2016) and police officers' self-efficacy should be strengthened for an effective suicide prevention strategy (Osteen et. Al, 2014). It also appears that factual knowledge combined with practical training generates the best conditions for police officers to handle the encounter with suicidal persons (Isaac et al., 2009). It appears in this study that all interviewees value the education and that the consequences of the education are predominantly good as the participants feel assured in the encounter with mental illness and that in the long run they conduct a better suicide prevention. All informants describe that their self-efficacy to handle the encounter with a suicidal person has been strengthened and that the consequences from the educational initiative in the form of both manifest and latent functions have affected the suicide prevention on Gotland mainly in positive ways.

Kabroo, Carl Gustaf, Willenius, Robert January 2013 (has links)
The thesis in product development – design was carried out between February and June 2013 and includes 15 credits (C-level), and is the final course of the Bachelor Program in Engineering, Innovation and Product Design.  The thesis dealt with the problem of adaptation to production and cost optimization of two pieces of electromagnetic stirrers at the company ABB, Process Automation, Metallurgy in Västerås. After contact with the supervisor from ABB, Jan-Erik Eriksson, the project work commenced to adapt the manufacturing design of the product ORD 43P and EM Stabilizer. To achieve cost-optimized production and production adapted design, the authors applied the following product development tools: Design for Cost, Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly. To verify that the design was optimal, but also that it did not break during stress, the authors used the computer based module finite element method of the CAD program SolidWorks.  The selection of components was based on the component’s price per kilo.  To select the optimum material, that is high strength and affordable, the authors used the material database software CES EduPack. The materials selected from CES EduPack could not be found by the authors as standard material at the market. Therefore, the authors changed strategy to compare and select materials based on market research of standard materials with suppliers. The components of ORD 43P were optimized in terms of design in comparison with existing components coil bracket and insulation boards. They were also cost reduced significantly. The component frame base was examined briefly.  Through product development the components coil bracket, insulating boards and frame base the total cost of ORD 43P was reduced by 2,47 %.  The authors found that the total cost of ORD 43P could be reduced between 10-25 % as many of its components are oversized and made of more expensive materials than needed.  The components of EM Stabilizer, cover and pneumatic hose, were designed with optimum design and was cost reduced.Through product development the components cover and pneumatic hose the costs of EM stabilizer were reduced by 1,3 %.  The authors assume that the costs of the EM Stabilizer can be reduced, because it is relatively new at the market. ABB want to ensure that the product reach its guaranteed life by over-sizing many of the components of the product and use more expensive material than necessary. / Kostnadssänkningsprojekt
