Previous issue date: 2014-03-21 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This theme is associated with the emerging paradigm of capitalist society and its relationship
with nature. And it arises from a crisis of humanity in all the segments contained therein,
among which stands out the environmental crisis, which is directly associated with the
survival of the human species. Faced with this complex reality and confrontational, print the
necessity of transformations grounded in the reconfiguration of social roles and the
redefinition of relations between individuals and those with nature. It is believed that the
school as a space of socialization configure it as conducive to act in this direction. However,
although education is a right constitutionally guaranteed, it is known that schooling in Brazil
occurs unevenly when rural and urban settings are compared, according to data from the
National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP) between the years 2000 and
2012 more than 43 thousand rural schools were closed, which equates to about 3,587 schools
per year. Closing a school is an attack on the survival of a community, because usually the
representativeness of schools goes far beyond a teaching environment; they are spaces of
social integration. From this context this research was undertaken in order to meet this
dynamic, which deals with parameters of Education financial viability at the expense of
cultural values and changing rural schools for transportation to schools in the urban network.
This sets a historic setback amid the educational progress made in the legal framework to
ensure the right to attend quality schools both in town and in the field. It is also considered in
this sense the impacts related to the subjectivity of the students from the field that suffer
prejudice and discrimination (albeit veiled) , before a dichotomy vision still rooted in the
concepts adopted by much of society that places the field as inferior the city. Based on these
assumptions, this research is developed, which has predominantly a qualitative essence, but is
not disregarding the quantitative data that contribute to elucidate the approach. The place of
the study is the county of Ouvidor (GO) that according to information collected in the field
has no rural schools in its territory since 2005. So students who live in rural areas - 67
students aged 4-18 years (during the school year 2013) - are transported to schools in the
urban network traversing paths ranging from 2 to 35 km. Structurally, this research is
organized into three chapters , besides the introduction and conclusion. This organization
seeks to articulate the relationships between society and nature in the historical context,
demonstrating the importance of formal education as a restructuring charge of relations with
the environment link. Although the study is facing the reality of the city of Ouvidor (GO), it is
expected that the results obtained may provide elements that promote debate in the Southeast
region of Goiás state and even in other Brazilian counties that deal with similar process to the
reality studied.
neste sentido.
A partir deste contexto

This artistic project, equivalent to the Master dissertation in visual arts, is composed by the documentation of the creative process, which is itself the Master degree in Visual Arts, as well as a small selection of photoengraving originals entitled \"Small Compendium of the Seas\". The documentation consists in three parts: first, art works and record of past exhibits and works in progress; second, visual and text notes; and last, selection of works preceding the period of Masters in Visual Arts. The organization of the documentation of the artistic process was made by prioritizing the body of work and considering the visual language as a diverse language but with the same legitimacy of verbal language, as well to the word, the visual knowledge operates through intellectual and sensible reasoning - and may be in the university being debated by artists who work with this language, measured within the particularities of visuality. Therefore I present the record and the materialized art works as part of a process where thinking and doing are the same creative act and in which intellectual complexity exists detached from the necessity of articulating word and independent of a pre-formulated verbal thesis, the texts here have another function: related interests, techniques and thematic influences from other areas of knowledge.

[en] CHILDREN, NATURE AND CHILDRENNULLS EDUCATION / [pt] CRIANÇAS, NATUREZA E EDUCAÇÃO INFANTILLEA VELOCINA VARGAS TIRIBA 24 January 2006 (has links)
A pesquisa inclui, ainda,
ambiental, desigualdade social e sofrimento pessoal. / [en] This study is based on the idea that there is a
relationship between the degradation of the environmental
conditions of the planet and the lack of attention to
children needs and wishes in Childish Education. If there
is an undertanding that human beings are, at the same
time, culture and nature beings and that the nature
perception has been lost during the production process of
the modern world vision, the research gathered elements
for the comprehension of the relationships between this
docotomic vision and the way educational institutions
work. The references to connect the micro and macro
political plans was found in ecology, feminism and micro
political fields.
The field research was developed through a partnership
with a formation instancy of the Education Municipal
Secretary in Blumenau, Santa Catarina; it involved
professionals of the Childish Education Centers (CECs),
that attend to children from 0 up to 6 years old, in a
full time mode. Through a qualitative investigation which
includes the participant observation, answers to
interviews and questionnaires, the physical spaces of 70%
of Blumenau CECs were analysed, regarding the out of door
time and contact with elements of the natural world, such
as sand, ground, water and vegetation. The research also
includes interviews with the professionals who act with
the children, searching elements to understand the set of
conceptual references which define an everyday far away
from nature.
The obtained data show educational conceptions and
practices that are consonant to a world vision which put
apart human being and nature, body and mind, good sense
and emotion. Thus, they contribute for the reproduction of
a kind of social working method which generates
environmental unstability, social inequality and personal
suffering.

This thesis aims at exploring the role cultural perceptions of nature could play in redefining in depth human action towards nature. Whether on purpose or as an incidental result, humankind has since the dawn of humanity first modified then destroyed nature. Yet, when looking at cultural perceptions of nature it appears that cultures developed a strong attachment to some representations of nature. The presumption explored here is that these cultural perceptions, in their diversity, in their multiplicity, could be key to redefining our whole relation towards nature. To that effect, this thesis studies the idea of nature and its evolutions throughout history in different cultures in order to render it effective in international negotiations. Three countries are explored: France, Japan and the United States in order to isolate cultural perceptions and to understand how they can be mobilized to redefine collective action.

The study attempts to open Husserl's model of a non-scientific lifeworld for pedagogical investigations of the relationship between technology and “Bildung” in the scientific world. It discusses developmental problems of late modernity under plural questions and brings together approaches and traditions that have taken different paths to the further development of modern “Bildungs”-theory. The central question is how modern technology can be problematized on the one hand as the alienation of human beings from the world of life and on the other hand be appreciated as a product of human freedom and the shaping of the world. Four chapters present the methodological approaches and answers that philosopher and educator Eugen Fink (1905–1975), philosopher Martin Heidegger (1889–1976), philosopher and educationalist Theodor Litt (1880–1962), and sociologist Helmut Schelsky (1912–1984) have given to the question of the relationship between education and technology. In the course of their positions, a concert will be developed whose originality lies in addressing the coordination problems of “Bildung” (education), “Technik” (technology) and “Lebenswelt” (lifeworld) from a post-dualist, praxis-theoretical as well as post-humanist perspective.
