It also establishes a rescue of the genesis of the meaning of labor and its legal consecration from the universal acceptance of human rights in all their dimensions, aiming to realize its corresponding goal, the dignity of the human person. This paper argues that it is entitled to Law establish a new vision of human labor, pillar of a humanistic capitalism, which values what men have as innate and external: their workforce, respecting the dignity of the human person by the composition embodied in the dimensions of human rights of freedom, equality and fraternity. The proposal involves the construction of a multidimensional theory of human labor, from the perspective of humanistic capitalism, using the method of normative jus-humanism, which recognizes capitalism as the prevailing and most efficient system known by men, under the aegis and protection of human rights in all their dimensions, interdependent and indissoluble / A presente tese analisa o trabalho segundo uma visão multidimensional, a partir de uma perspectiva antropológica, inserida no capitalismo humanista, para posicioná-lo no direito.

It deals with the meeting with prisoner in the search for the rescue of the human being dignity, discovering the being that finds annulled by backwards of the prison. The current debate on the prisoners in Brazil has as focus the creation of efficient strategies in the combat to the criminal acts, not being worried in understanding the historical and social conditions in the context in which such acts develop. Our objective was to reach an understanding of the experience of the prisoner in the situation of freedom deprivation in Natal (RN) city. Its significant social relevance meets in emphasized thematic which intends to be revealing of the not-said one of these citizens. The epistemological space and the vision of adopted human being support in the humanist ideas of the Centered Approach in the Person and construct self, central nucleus of the personality theory proposal by Carl Rogers. We opt to the phenomenological method as way of access to the singularity of the experience of each one of the participants, supporting us in the strategy of the narrative as expression of the lived world. The results had pointed that the investigated experience is through suffering, that is, the way to be in the world of prisoner in the situation of freedom deprivation is felt by him/her as difficult to support. This reality is had by him/her as difficult to control, having a negative emotional repercussion for the self, leading the citizen to the alienation of his/her existential flow in these circumstances. The reflections produced in this work take us to consider that the punishment practices on behalf of a normalization of the behavior, linked to the recovery idea, do not meet to the intention of the arrests, that come demonstrating to the inefficacy of the objectives shown in the law as well as the loss of the human being dignity / Esta pesquisa resultou de indaga??es surgidas a partir de nossa experi?ncia de trabalho como psic?loga numa institui??o penitenci?ria do estado do Rio Grande do Norte. Making Our Freedom : Feminism and ethics from Beauvoir to Foucault

Sybylla, Roe, roesybylla@hotmail.com January 1997 (has links)
This thesis examines the possibilities for feminism that arise from the work of Michel Foucault, which I explicate by comparison it with humanist existentialism. I begin with The Second Sex, Simone de Beauvoir's application of existentialism to women. I expose the problems that arise in Beauvoir's project. Woman's body is an obstacle to her transcendence, and further, she must abandon her feminine desires and values, and accommodate herself to masculine patterns if she is to overcome her immanence and subordination. To understand why such problems recur in The Second Sex, I turn to Sartre's Being and Nothingness. After examining the conceptions underlying his thought, I conclude that his philosophy is unable to encompass difference, and is therefore antithetical to the feminist project. ¶ Foucault's philosophy offers solutions to these problems by eliminating consciousness as universal subject of action, and by making subjectivity a product of time, through showing how subjects are formed though the changing effects of power upon bodies. His thought encompasses difference at a fundamental level, through understanding human beings as particular 'events' in time. I argue that Foucault's philosophy does not depend fundamentally, as does Sartre's, upon woman as Other. ¶ Foucault shows how our particular historical form of rationality, created within power relations, sets limits on what we can think, be and do. He shows how thought can overcome some of these limits, allowing us to become authors of our own actions. Misunderstandings are common, particularly of his conception of power and its relation to subjectivity. Many commentators demand changes that reinstate the concepts he fundamentally rejects. Others do not see the unity of his philosophy. I show its importance to women's emancipation and to a feminist ethics. ¶ Finally, I compare Foucault's thought with feminism of difference. With the help of Heidegger, I argue that Foucault offers a superior but complementary way to know who we are, through understanding the history of our making. I show how the masculine and the feminine can be reconciled through a reconceptualisation of the relation of sex to time. All told, Foucault is a philosopher of freedom and for him the practice of freedom is an ethics.

Avant-garde Modernism In Architecture: A Re-analysis Of The Neue Sachlichkeit Architecture Within The Framework Of Posthumanism

Baran, Ceyda 01 September 2004 (has links) (PDF)
This thesis aims to re-analyze the early twentieth century modern architecture, with in the frame work of posthumanism. Referring to the materialist and socioconstructive architecture of Hannes Meyer, the study proposes a shift from humanist ways of production and reception to posthumanism, where the centrality of human in the productive processes of both art and life is questioned. With this respect, the thesis proposes a historical continuity with the post 1960&amp / #8217 / s posthumanist involvement of the postmodern architecture with the early twentieth century modern architecture. Moreover, it is argued that the ideal of modern architecture&amp / #8217 / s break with tradition could be realized through a move towards posthumanism referring posthumanist shift occurred in the avant-garde modernism. Within this framework the thesis, via proposing the book by Michael Hays: Modernism and the Posthumanist Subject: The Architecture of Hannes Meyer and Ludwig Hilberseimer as a pretext, argues that the modern architecture&amp / #8217 / s ideal of break with tradition is realized through the Neue Sachlichkeit architecture of Hannes Meyer within which the architectural production is integrated with the social and productive determinants of life.

Aiming to think about the theme by a different focus, the study looks for promoting a reflection about the executive's resistance to change, assigning a view to this individual as a complex subject and considering his subjectivity, unconsciousness and his psychic fragility as central elements for the study of the resistant behavior in the organizations. Based on bibliographic researches of exploratory feature, this study is established in a central idea that, basing in a subjective focus of the resistance phenomenon, is possible to consider the executives' resistant behavior as external reflexes of that is reproduced inside these subjects' psyche. The research that was done showed favorable arguments for this idea. Considering the way that the alienation of these subjects and the consequent occult meaning assigned to organization that they administer influence the way that they interpret the world, is possible to say that a big part of the assumed behavior as regards as the organizational change is resulted from internalized and repressed anxieties, ranging from annihilation fear to way of thinking that symbolizes their core identity. It is noteworthy that, in the search for concretization of this theoretical debate, were analyzed two big happenings of the history of two american organizations, AnheuserBusch and RJR Nabisco, translated in the works of Macintosh (2013) and of Burrough and Helyar (2009), respectively. The analysis and the interpretation of both cases enhance the discussion in favor to a practical content for the issues that were discussed in this study. Reached its aims, the research's results point to the fragility of the predominant approaches as regards as theme and promote openings paths for new researches that could be done via subjective analysis.

Sobre os Conceitos de IndivÃduo em SÃren Kierkegaard e de Pessoa em Carl Rogers: SemelhanÃas e DiferenÃas / About the concepts of Individual in SÃren Kierkegaard and Person in Carl Rogers: similarities and differences.

Carlos Roger Sales da Ponte 06 August 2010 (has links)
From a epistemological reading of some writings of the American psychologist, Carl R. Rogers, in which he declares âtheoretical affinitiesâ with the thought of the Danish philosopher, SÃren Kierkegaard, the biggest objective of this study is to collate the concepts of âIndividualâ, delineated by Kierkegaard, and the concept of âPersonâ, formulated by Rogers, in its similarities and differences. Contributing to the constitution of one more face of the Person-Centrered Approaching epistemology (created and developed by Rogers), is also intention of this research, to approximate these concepts taking as support the hypothesis of that the supposed kierkegaardian influence in Rogerâs production is not so significant as he (Rogers) and, over all, his commentators, wants to make to believe. Being Kierkegaard in a philosophical and epistemological dimension of a pietistic and anguished Christianity, where its biggest goal was to show the true âChristian-to-beâ, and also that the âIndividualâ is that one who chooses to exist subjectively in a tensioned relation with God, hardly could his philosophy stand as another so heterogeneous context as it was the case of Humanist North America Psychology, where Rogers had space and that considered the âPersonâ as a âreliable worthy organismâ that keeps in itself the potentialities of constructing itself in all its spheres and in direction to an authentic existence and congruence. Approaching the concepts of âIndividualâ and âPersonâ in its similarities and differences, describing until where the influence of Kierkegaard in the rogerian thought is veridical, it is intended to show the place in fact of the kierkegaardian philosophy in the construction of the psychology centered in the person effected by Rogers.

Abordagem contemporânea da mecânica no ensino médio / Contemporary approach the mechanics in the high school

Rodrigues, Carla Moraes 26 August 2015 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / In the present work it is presents a Contemporary Approach Physics for High School. For the construction of this approach, starting point was the hypothesis from what for the development of a scientific culture in the students it is necessary to establish the humanistic dimension and the investigative dimension in the classroom. These dimensions include of contents under the approaches historical-philosophical, social, experimental and technological. Based on these assumptions, It was elaborate a planning didactic planning that, to be structured based on the approach developed in this work, it was called Contemporary Mechanics Approach. For the structuring of this educational planning were consulted seven journals of teaching area of physics and education in science. The search held in publications of 2009 to 2012 selected 56 articles, where at least one dimension of Contemporary Physics approach was developed in the classroom. The analysis of these articles, it was observed that the works were carried out at different levels of education and different contents. From the information obtained by reading the articles selected, it was structured the didactic planning deployed to students the first year of high school. During the application of lessons, They were developed with the students ten activities, where six were performed in the classroom and four were published on the site FISQUIM. The analysis of the activities performed by students and diary excerpts class produced by teacher and author of this thesis, stands out that the contents related to mechanics allow a contemporary approach and these narratives in the daily lesson provide information to the reflection of teaching practice. Similarly, data analysis allowed to infer the site FISQUIM expanded dialogue between teacher and students. How implications for teaching practice, the Contemporary Approach Mechanics demonstrated that, even with the own conditions of school routine, a approach that values the contextualizing and research contributes to the formative process of the student / No presente trabalho é apresentada uma Abordagem Contemporânea da Física para o Ensino Médio.

Crime, histoire et politique : la représentation du régicide dans le théâtre anglais et français au tournant du XVIe et du XVIIe siècle / Crime, history and politics : to perform regicide in English and French theatre at the turn of sixteenth and seventeenth-century

Coulaud, Sandra 22 June 2017 (has links)
The regicide is a topical crime between the sixteenth and the seventeenth-century. It is an object of many reflections and an actual event for french and english people. In both kingdom, there are debates on this issue while the schism has begun a reality. Because of the controversy, it is possible to speack about régicide as a punishment. Playwrighters perform this problematic subject. Jacques de Fonteny represent the murder of Henri Ird, Claude Billard de Courgenay represent Henri IVrth’s one, Antoine de Montchrestien represent the execution of Marie Stuart, Shakespeare and Marlowe perform the murders of Richard IInd et Edward IInd. A priori, such subject can move the audience. Nevertheless, such a performance isn’t an evidence. How, indeed, can a playwrighter show such an enormous crime during troubled period ? How can he justify the show in a crisis context ? Playwrighters have to consider ideological and aesthetic restrictions, which are sometimes in contradiction, to perform the murder of the sovereign. In many cases, they rewright history. Because the crime is usually ineffective as a politic action, it is effective for dramatic art. Tyranny justify that the prince is murdered. Some moral failures make this one acceptable. And because the king is falling, he appears as a pathetic victim for the spectators. When it is difficult to show the crime scene, the regicide is described by a messenger.

Marabastad : place and the individual - the individual in place

Molenaar, Nadia Franciska 23 November 2006 (has links)
In the north-western corner of inner-city Pretoria, South Africa, the business district of Marabastad stands as a prime example of the lack of humanised public space making in marginalised urban areas. Amidst the vibrant and spontaneous local community the open spaces in this urban landscape are left derelict and insufficient in providing for the needs of their users. In response to the obvious and unseen deficiencies of the area, this landscape architectural study aims to shape platforms of opportunity to support the struggling local community by building on existing social networks and, formal and informal, economical practices. The investigation and subsequent design of this dissertation are focussed around the making of an urban square that will encourage interaction between individuals as well as between the individual and his/her surroundings. / Dissertation (ML(Prof))--University of Pretoria, 2007. / Architecture / unrestricted

Érato et Melpomène ou les sœurs ennemies : langage poétique et poétique dramatique dans le théâtre français de Jodelle à Scarron (1553-1653) / Erato and Melpomene or the enemy sisters : poetic language and dramatic poetics in french theater from Jodelle to Scarron (1553-1653)

Garnier, Sylvain 04 December 2017 (has links)
Poetical expression seems to be an inherent aspect of classical theatre. However, plays written in the second half of the seventeenth century, particularly the tragedies, were conceived to adhere to regular standards of form which tended towards the removal of poetic expression from theatre and which largely succeeded in doing so. To summarise this process, it is necessary to recount the history of poetic expression in plays from the advent of humanist tragedy in the mid-sixteenth century to the establishment of what would be later called « classicism ». It can then be demonstrated that lyrical elocution shifted over time from tragedy to comedy, following the same evolution as lyrical poetry which evolved from the noble style of the Pleiade all the way to Scarron’s burlesque expression, through the simplicity of Malherbe’s expression, the ingenuity of marinism, or the preciosity of the gallant style. Poetical expression thus progressively shifted from the choirs and pathetic discourses of the humanist tragedy, towards the sighs, songs, and conceits of the lovers of tragi-comedy and pastorales, before being parodied in the ridiculous manner of speech of the characters in burlesque comedy. Simultaneously, theorists of regularity theorised the fundamental opposition between poetic and dramatic language, thus making the development of a regular poetical tragedy nearly impossible.
