Pagrindinis projekto tikslas – sukurti informacinę sistemą, paremtą metaduomenų lygiu, nes išanalizavus esamų portalų rinką Lietuvoje buvo pastebėta, kad šie portalai neturi tam tikrų funkcionalumo galimybių: sudėtingas portalo valdymas bei duomenų įkėlimas į portalus, sunkus ir brangus perprojektavimas, lėtas veikimas, didelės eksploatacinės išlaidos. Buvo suprojektuota loginė portalo architektūra, sistemos elgsenos modelis (naudojantis sekų diagramomis), reliacinės duomenų bazės schema, sistemos testavimo modelis ir metabazės lygis. Ištestuotas sistemos modelis, paruošta vartotojo instrukcija. Šis portalas „Būsto portalas“ leidžia lengviau keisti duomenų struktūrą ir ją praplėsti, patogiau įkelti naują informaciją, lengviau keisti vartotojo galimybes bei pačiam vartotojui naudotis portalu. Dėka metabazės lygio greičiau pasiekiami duomenys. Portalo administratoriui lengviau ir paprasčiau perprojektuoti visą portalą kitam tikslui (pasikeitus portalo informacijos sričiai). Esant paprastai turinio valdymo sistemai – lengviau neįgudusiam administratoriui prižiūrėti portalą, nes atskirta portalo veikimo logika nuo naudojamų duomenų. / The main goal of this project is to create an informative system based on metadata level due to the research done on existing sites in Lithuania, which has shown that those sites don‘t have some functional possibilities: they are difficult to manage, loading data is complicated, redesigning is expensive and hard, slow operation, high financial maintenance. Logical site architecture has been designed as well as the model of system behaviour (using diagrams of sequences), scheme of relative data base, model of system testing and meta-base level. System model has been tested, maintenance and user‘s instruction documents have been prepared, any logical and other mistakes have been corrected. This site ‚The dwelling site‘lets easily change the structure of data and widen it, it has become more convenient to change user‘s possibilities and load new data and use the site itself. The data is quicker to reach because of the metadata level. It is also easier for site administrator to redesign the whole site for the different purpose when the range of information changes. When managing of content is easy to maintain it is also easier for a less experienced administrator to look after the site, because the logic of site operation is separated from data being used.

Darbo apimtis: 57 puslapiai, pateikta 11 lentelių, 18 paveikslėlių, panaudota 9 literatūros ir 11 internetinių šaltinių.
Tyrimo tikslas sukurti mokomąją kompiuterinę modeliavimo priemonę, kuria lanksčiai ir kūrybingai galėtų būti mokoma(si) augalininkystės dalyko. Tikslui pasiekti buvo išanalizuoti funkciniai ir nefunkciniai reikalavimai, suprojektuota ir realizuota mokomoji kompiuterinė priemonė „Augalų augimą įtakojantys faktoriai“ ir atliktas eksperimentinis tyrimas.
Išanalizavus analogiškos paskirties programas, buvo nustatyti kuriamai augalininkystės mokymo priemonei pagrindiniai reikalavimai: lengvai įdiegiama; nekeliami dideli reikalavimai techninei ir programiniai įrangai; lengvai valdoma ir tolerantiška vartotojo klaidoms; sudaroma interaktyvi galimybė moksleiviui tapti aktyviu veiksmo dalyviu.
Sukurtoje priemonėje pateikta augalininkystės temų teorija ir praktinių darbų pavyzdžiai, savikontrolės ir kontroliniai testai, įdiegti laboratoriniai darbai ir virtualus eksperimentas. Augalininkystės mokymo(si) priemone gali naudotis profesijos mokytojai ir mokiniai, mokydami(esi) augalininkystės dalyko.

The aim of the research to create computer modeling tool, which could be flexibly and creatively used teaching/learning plant-growing subject. In order to reach the aim of the research functional and non-functional requirements were analyzed, educational computer tool “The Factors Influencing Plants’ Growing” was projected and realized and the experiment research was done.
After analyzing similar programs, the requirements for creative plant-growing educational tool were set: easily implemented; no big requirements for technical and software equipments; easily used, tolerant to consumers mistakes; interactive possibility to a student is made to become an active action participant.
The tool includes plant-growing theory and examples of practical tasks, self-control and checking tests, implemented laboratory works and virtual experiment. Plant -growing teaching/learning program can be used by profession teachers and students while learning plant-growing subject.

Besiplečiant kompiuterinės įrangos galimybėms auga ir kvalifikuotų darbuotojų paklausa bei reikalavimai darbuotojams visame pasaulyje. Retas darbuotojas šiuo metu gali dirbti be kompiuterio ar kompiuterinės technikos taikymo savo darbe. Atsiranda naujos programos taikytinos konkrečiose darbo srityse, lengvinančios darbą bei gerinančios jo kokybę. Norint išlikti konkurencingu darbo rinkoje tenka prisitaikyti prie jos reikalavimų, pastoviai tobulinti turimas žinias bei gebėjimus ir įgyti naujų. Rašant šį darbą buvo apžvelgta suaugusiųjų kompiuterinio raštingumo situacija Lietuvoje ir pasaulyje. Aiškintasi politinis požiūris į kompiuterinių gebėjimų ugdymą, finansavimo šaltinius. Atliktas anketinis tyrimas, kuriame apklausta daugiau nei 500 Vilniaus pedagoginio universiteto darbuotojų. Atliekant tyrimą aiškintasi, kompiuterinių gebėjimų lygmuo priklausomai nuo amžiaus ir pareigų. Aiškintasi ar nuo amžiaus priklauso pageidaujamo mokymosi būdo pasirinkimas, taip pat kiek amžius turi 5takos norui tobulėti informacinių technologijų srityje. Tyrime siekta atsekti priklausomybę norimų mokytis dalykų nuo respondentų pareigų. Į visus šios klausimus atsakymus padėjo surasti atliktas apklausos rezultatų tyrimas. / Nowadays the demand for qualified workers as well as the requirements for workers is increasing all around the world due to the development of opportunities of the new computer technologies. Just a few members of our society can work without computer or any computer device. The new software that can be used in a particular working sphere appears. This new software makes the work easier and quality of work much better. In order to survive in the competitive labour market, each organization should adjust itself to the requirements of the market, constantly deepen acquired knowledge and abilities and learn new ones. Computer literacy in Lithuania and in the world was reviewed in this thesis. The theme was being analyzed taking into account political and financial sources. The research by the means of questionnaire was performed. More than 500 Vilnius Pedagogical University workers took part in it. The aim of this questionnaire was to make a connection between age and position of the reporters and their computer literacy abilities. The question of the choice of particular learning method in accordance with the age was risen up as well as the influence of the age on desires to improve knowledge in the sphere of modern technologies. The connection between the desirable aspects of study and the holding position is showed in this research. All the answers to these questions were found during the research.

Todėl švietimo įstaigose skatinama išnaudoti visas IKT galimybes tobulinti mokymosi metodus ir mokymosi kokybę. Pirmajame skyriuje supažindinama, kas tai yra tradicinis mokymasis bei kaip keitėsi mokymosi metodika, kai buvo pradėtos naudoti informacinės komunikacinės technologijos. Antrasis skyrius skirtas projektinės dalies aprašymui. Sukurta lietuvių kalbos kurso dalis, skirta amerikiečių lietuvių kalbos žinioms tobulinti. Kurso kūrimui pasirinkta „Moodle“ virtuali mokymosi aplinka, nes ji yra paprasta, atviro kodo bei turi daug kitų privalumų. Trečioji dalis skirta kurso kokybės vertinimui. / This master thesis discusses the integration of the traditional and distance learning approaches into the virtual learning. The rapid development of information technologies made huge impact on the learning technologies, as well as changed the way of the students’ learning. Therefore, learning institutions are encouraged to employ all the possibilities provided by information and communication technologies in order to improve learning methods, as well as the quality of learning. The first chapter introduces traditional learning approach and presents how learning methods developed with the rise of information and communication technologies. The project part is described in the second chapter. The Lithuanian language course was designed to provide American students with the required material and improve their language skills. The course was created using “Moodle”, an Open Source Course Management System. The third chapter discusses the evaluation of the course quality.

The main target of the master thesis “GIS application for marking of cycle paths” is to investigate the opportunities of cycle tourism in Lithuania, and to mark the cycle tour route and cycle route as technical design using GIS technology. The cycle route designing principles, marking possibilities In Lithuania and abroad, also cycle rout designs and cyclists flows are analyzed while estimating the opportunities of cycling tourism. Basing on the collected data and the implemented pools,, the GIS sub-system of the cycle tour rout, and its’ development technology is described. Such information would be useful for the cyclists while planning the tour rout and during the tour, however such system would be even more useful if there would be more marked and classified cycle paths. After creating the common Lithuanian cycle paths database we could gather and propose an information on the cycle tourism possibilities to the cyclists, which could benefit further development of tourism in Lithuania. The Dzukija cycle route technical design data were used during development of GIS subsystem of cycle paths. Herefore the rout were marked by hands. The developed GIS subsystem allows wider information appliance. The work consists of 76 pages, 16 tables, 43 pictures, 5 annexes, 29 sources.

Virtualių universitetų koncepcijų tyrimui buvo taikoma sisteminė analizė, o virtualaus universiteto informacinei sistemai projektuoti, buvo naudotas koncepcinio modeliavimo metodas.
