An Investigation on the Factors of the Successful Training Program in the Life Insurance Industry: Based on the Financed Agents Program of N CompanyKuei, Wen 27 July 2012 (has links)
This study is to investigate the factors for successful training programs in the life insurance industry. From the aspects of curriculum design, instructors¡¦ arrangements, and trainers¡¦ self-evaluation on their efforts in the training program, this study analyzed the trained and on-schedule promoted trainers to understand how much the trainers identify with the program arrangements. This study further pointed out that, on the premise of the same instructors and curriculum, the trainees¡¦ quality and how their supervisors do the mentoring determine if the training program will succeed. This study used the survey and randomly chose 180 trainees to be the research participants, with 143 valid responses. This study concludes some trainees¡¦ and their supervisors¡¦ qualities that tend to generate the training success. The qualities will be used as some referential indicators for recruitment and adjusting curriculum in the future.

I have in my thesis performed a survey that builds on interviews of five former students at Mediepedagogiskt Center (Mpc) that is located at Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet in Karlstad which is incorporated into Karlstads-Hammarö comprehensive upper secondary school. The sample group of students all has various withdrawal years between 1997 - 2004. The aim of the survey is to evaluate any direct qualities that these students have had that helped them to get a occupation within the media industry after the completion of their education at Mpc. This survey also tries to evaluate whether the orientation of their particular style of education is a factor for achieving employment. Before 1998 the course was divided into three A and B-level courses within the directions, photography, graphic design, text communication, sound production and film/television. After 1998 these are now divided into one A, B and C level courses, and one another level courses on A and B-level. The result shows that something more than” just” a good schooling with high grades is needed to succeed into getting a occupation within the media sector. The survey also suggests that this extra quality often can be difficultly for the schools to teach to the students. The survey also suggests that a greater understanding of these processes might help the schools to convey these internal qualities to the students. The way you express yourself, your work ethics, social competence, creativity, actual know-how, hunger for knowledge, the will to develop new skills and having a genuine interest are all factors that are often more valued than a good grade or which school one went to.

The problem of the youth’s sexual behaviour is one of the most serious problems. The following juvenile problems have lately become especially urgent: early sexual relationships, pregnancy, abortion, diseases that are spread through sexual intercourse. Thus it is not surprising that the problem of juvenile sexual behaviour receives so much attention in pedagogy. In most cases love is understood as physical satisfaction. It is compared to sex. The true secret of sexual life is not realized properly. The problems of irresponsible sexual behaviour cause a number of other problems that have a negative impact on the future of adolescents. On the basis of the research results it is possible to draw the conclusion that the problem of early sexual experience in Lithuania is becoming more and more urgent. The number of teenagers who have had early sexual experience is increasing. It has been noticed that over a half of pupils who took part in the survey have had sexual relationships. According to the research data, the majority of sexually active adolescents acquired their first sexual experience at the age of 16-17. Most male adolescents have begun their sexual life at the age of 16 and the majority of female adolescents – at the age of 17. Thus, the hypothesis of the research that male adolescents start their sexual life earlier than female ones has been confirmed.

Bakgrund: Fitnessbranschen har under senare tid expanderat snabbt och PT erbjuds idag på de flesta anläggningar. Träning med PT har positiva effekter fysiskt men även på beteenden kopplat till träning. För ett positiv utfall av träningen krävs det en god interaktion mellan klient och coach. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad klienter som tränar eller har tränat med en PT det senaste året anser är viktiga egenskaper och faktorer hos en PT. Design och metod: Studien har en kvalitativ deskriptiv design. Datainsamling genomfördes med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes för databearbetning. Resultat: Vid dataanalysen framkom 3 teman, 6 kategorier och 17 subkategorier. De teman och kategorier som framkom var: Framstå som kompetent - Utseende och uppvisad erfarenhet, Ge känsla av bred kunskap Coachingstil- Närvaro här och nu, Individanpassning Pedagogiska strategier - Verktyg för att uppnå resultat, Trygghetsskapande Konklusion: Bakgrundsinformation om alla PT bör finnas tillgänglig på hemsida eller anläggning i syfte att klienten ska kunna välja sin en PT utifrån deras personliga önskemål. Detta skulle kunna skapa goda grundförutsättningar för en fungerande arbetsallians. Forskning inom detta område är begränsat och det är därför av intresse att fler större studier genomförs. / Background: During the last years the fitness industry has expanded fast. Today PT is offered at almost every health club. Training with a PT have positive physical effects but it has also shown an influence on behaviour associated with training. A good relation between client and coach is needed for a positive outcome of the training. Purpose: The aim of the study was to investigate what the clients that are training or has trained with at personal trainer during the last year consider as important factors and personal qualities related to personal trainers. Design and method: A qualitative descriptive design was used. Data collection was done by semi-structured interviews. Data was analysed with qualitative content analysis. Results: The analyses resulted in 3 themes, 6 categories and 17 sub categories. The themes and categories were: To appear as competent: Appearance and displayed experience ,Give a feeling of a broad knowledge. Coaching style: To be present here and now, To personalize Pedagogical strategies: Tools to reach results, To create a secure feeling, Conclusion: Background information of the PT should always be available at the health club or on the website. The client should have the opportunity to choose a PT based on their personal requests. This may result in good preconditions for a strong and effective working alliance. Reserach in this area are limited therefor further studies are needed.

<p>I dagens arbetsliv verkar det, överlag, som att det ställs höga krav på personliga egenskaper. Det som bestämmer vilka egenskaper som tas med i en platsannons är vilka personliga krav tjänsten fordrar för att en anpassning till arbetsgruppen ska vara möjlig. Vid utformandet av en platsannons bör de personliga egenskaperna som anges tas i beaktning då tolkningar kring dem kan se ut på olika sätt beroende på vilken kontext en individ befinner sig i. Utifrån det valde vi att genomföra den här studien vars syfte var att ta reda på om det språkliga budskapet angående de personliga egenskaperna i platsannonser når fram på, ett för arbetsgivaren, önskvärt sätt; samt om det finns skillnader mellan arbetsgivarens och de arbetssökandes tolkningar gällande de personliga egenskaper som återges. Utifrån syftet har frågeställningar formulerats, som besvarats i uppsatsen. Den första frågan behandlade vilka konsekvenser kommunikationskanalen och envägskommunikationen får för hur budskapet i en platsannons når fram och tolkas av mottagaren. Nästa fråga som undersöktes var hur arbetsgivaren och de arbetssökande tolkar de personliga egenskaperna i annonserna. Slutligen besvarar frågorna tre och fyra om det finns några skillnader och samband mellan tolkningarna av de personliga egenskaperna. Med samband menar vi att egenskaperna är sammankopplade med varandra och därför upptäcktes en svårighet för våra respondenter att entydigt definiera dem. The factor that determines what kind of qualities that ought to be included in a work ad are which personal demands the position requires, in due to the individuals’ possible adjustment to the work group. When forming the work ad the personal qualities ought to be considered because the interpretations regarding them can appear in different ways depending on which context the individual exist in. On this basis we chose to go through with this study. The purpose of the study was to find out if the linguistic message regarding the personal qualities reaches the recipient in a, for the employer desirable way; and if there are any differences between interpretations regarding the personal qualities through the two perspectives, employer and the persons looking for jobs. On the basis of the purpose of the study, some questions have been formed. These questions have been answered in this essay. The first questions discuss what consequences the channel of communication and the one-way-communication cause regarding the messages ability to reach and be interpreted by the recipient. The next question examined was how the employer and the jobseeker interpret the personal qualities in the work ads. The last thing examined is whether or not there are any differences or connections between the interpretations of the personal qualities. The theoretical reference supports our study. The theoretical references consist, among other things, of communication and the knowledge of interpretation, recruitment and job advertisement and descriptions of personal qualities.</p><p>In order to answer and approach the purpose and the questions of the study, we used a qualitative method with interviews. The study is based on two work advertisements. The creators of these ads were interviewed. Because of the purpose we wanted to have two different perspectives on the phenomenon, thus we interviewed jobseekers as well. During the interviews we focused on the respondents interpretations about the personal qualities in the work ads.</p><p>After completing the analysis and the study, we came to an overall conclusion; which was that there are differences between the employer and the jobseekers interpretation about the personal qualities. The employers interpretations is included in the jobseekers, despite this a problem regarding the interpretations occurred. These problems were shown in the form of the jobseekers wider view of the qualities, than the employers. The jobseekers wider interpretation of the qualities resulted in a larger selection of interpretations. The jobseeker can choose an interpretation that might not be equal with the employers. Today, there is a mismatch between business graduates and employers in the labor market, interms of fit. Much of this mismatch is due to a lack of understanding of the needs of individualemployers. Previous research has not taken into consideration contextual and individualdifferences, which significantly affects what employers want. Hence, in order to understand theemployability of business graduates, one has to recognize the diversity in employer needs,which entails studying the role of organizational identity in employer requirements. The purpose of this research was to get a more comprehensive understanding of how individualemployers in Sweden experience different aspects of Graduate Employability. The dissertationfurther builds on significant research on Graduate Employability, thus making it a study ofdeductive nature. In order to increase the understanding of Graduate Employability, we optedfor an exploratory and qualitative approach. With the use of interviews, we were able to collectin-depth empirical data that were based on real-life experiences and working environments offive individual employers. Our findings illustrated Graduate Employability from a more practical perspective, thusoffering a more nuanced understanding of what employers expect and want from businessgraduates. Not only did we illuminate the concept of Graduate Employability, but we alsohighlighted the importance getting to know the employers and their needs. The contribution of this thesis will help aspiring business graduates to improve theiremployability, but the findings also have implications for higher education institutions andemployers alike.

In my eleven years of teaching graphic design at Tshwane University of Technology, I have come to realise that education is
more
than
just
teaching
a
student
the
fundamentals,
techniques
and
new
technologies,
it
is
also
about
their
personal
development.
I
conducted
this
study
to
ensure
that
my
educational
practices
challenge
my
graphic
design
students
to
acquire
the
essential
characteristics
–
or
more
profoundly,
the
essential
human
qualities
-‐
required
for
a
contemporary
graphic
design
career
through
which
the
quality
of
life
for
all
will
be
enhanced.
The
study
is
a
participatory
action
research
study
involving
the
second
and
third
year
graphic
design
students
at
Tshwane
University
of
Technology.
It
involved
five
action
intervention
cycles.
In
the
first
cycle
I
explored
the
current
graphic
design
education
practices
in
order
to
determine
whether
these
practices
ensure
the
acquisition
of
such
essential
human
qualities
that
a
graphic
designer
should
posses.
The
acquisition
of
such
human
qualities
has
become
paramount
because
of
the
ethical
imperative
that
graphic
designers
can
change
the
world
(Berman,
2009).
I
found
that
my
current
graphic
design
education
practices
as
they
relate
to
the
commonly
most
dominant
practices
are
not
sufficient
to
accomplish
this
purpose.
During
the
research
I
was
exposed
to
a
paradigmatically
innovative
education
practice
that
focuses
on
maximizing
human
potential
and
it
was
adopted
to
improve
my
existing
education
practice.
Through
four
additional
action
intervention
cycles
I
provided
evidence
that
indicated
that
my
improved
education
practice
contributed
to
my students’
acquisition
of
an
identified
four
sets
of
essential
human
qualities:
the
artistic
quality
of
creativity;
the
professional
quality
of
continuous,
independent,
increasing
expertise
in
creativity
within
an
interdependent,
co-‐operative
value
based
community
of
graphic
design
practitioners;
the
personal
quality
of
maximizing
human
potential;
and
the
leadership
quality
of
an
enlightened
change
agent.
The
primary
focus
on
the acquisition
of
these
essential
human
qualities
through
the
proposed
method
of
graphic
design
education,
also
allows
for
the
gaining
of
the
necessary
graphic
design
knowledge
and
skills

Personliga egenskaper och digitala verktygs inverkan på upplevd effektivitet vid distansarbete : En kvantitativ studie gjord inom offentlig sektor / Impact of personal characteristics and digital tools on perceived efficiency in teleworking : A quantitative study conducted in the public sectorMöller, Emma, Nilsson, Elin January 2022 (has links)
Bakgrund: Distansarbete beskrivs vara en arbetsform där arbetstagare, på heltid eller deltid, utför arbetsuppgifter på annan plats än det centrala kontoret för organisationen. Tidigare forskning har lyft hur personliga egenskaper och olika grad av implementering av digitala verktyg kan påverka effektiviteten vid distansarbete. Problemformulering: Personliga egenskaper och digitala verktygs inverkan på upplevd effektivitet vid distansarbete. Syfte: Att ta reda på om arbetstagares självskattning av personliga egenskaper kopplade till FFM påverkar deras upplevda effektivitet vid distansarbete. Arbetet syftar även till redogörande för arbetstagares upplevda effektivitet vid distansarbete kopplat till användande av digitala verktyg vid arbetsformen. Metod: För att besvara frågeställningen användes kvantitativ metod. En enkätundersökning genomfördes på ett urval arbetstagare vilka hade erfarenhet av distansarbete. Den empiriska datan utgörs av 56 respondenter från tre kommuner i Västra Götalandsregionen. Analysen genomfördes med enkel linjär regression med effektivitet på distans som beroende variabel och en oberoende variabel satt utifrån respektive hypotes. Slutsats: Av de 8 hypoteser som utformats kan ingen av dem antas. Detta är en konsekvens av att det utifrån resultatet inte kunde påvisas några positiva samband mellan variablerna som sågs signifikanta. I föreliggande studie ses alltså inte hög grad av en viss personlighetstyp påverka den upplevda effektiviteten vid distansarbete. Resultatet visar heller inte att de arbetstagare som uppfattar kommunikationen som enkel, anser att arbetsgivaren anpassat sitt ledarskap eller fått utbildning inom ramen för arbetsformen upplever sig mer effektiva vid distansarbete. / Background: Telework is described as a form of work where employees, full-time or part-time, perform tasks in a place other than the central office of the organization. Previous research has highlighted how personal characteristics and different degrees of implementation of digital tools can affect the efficiency of teleworking. Problem formulation: Personal characteristics and the impact of digital tools on perceived efficiency in teleworking. Aim: To find out whether employees' self-assessment of personal qualities linked to FFM affects their perceived efficiency in teleworking. The work also aims to account for employees' perceived efficiency in teleworking linked to the use of digital tools in telework. Method: A quantitative method was used to answer the question. A survey was conducted on a sample of employees who had experience of teleworking. The empirical data consists of 56 respondents from three municipalities in the Västra Götaland region. The analysis is performed with simple linear regression with efficiency during telework as a dependent variable and an independent variable based on respective hypotheses. Conclusion: Of the 8 hypotheses formulated, none of them can be assumed. This is a consequence of the result not showing any positive relationships between the variables that were seen as significant. In the present study, therefore, a high degree of a certain personality type is not affected by the perceived efficiency of teleworking. The results nighter shows that those employees who perceive communication as simple, believe that the employer has adapted their leadership or have received training within the framework of telework, consider themselves more effective when working remotely.
