Isso n?o significa submeter arbitrariamente a educa??o a uma determinada orienta??o epistemol?gica e, muito menos, fazer unicamente uma destitui??o de sentidos da sua racionalidade. Seria, isto sim, ponderar a capacidade de abertura da pr?pria racionalidade educativa para compreender as altera??es epistemol?gicas e sociais contempor?neas. Trata-se, portanto, de entender a educa??o vinculada a uma profunda reorienta??o em suas teorias e pr?ticas educativas. Pretende-se, assim, investigar at? que ponto a educa??o ainda ? um recurso fundamental para a forma??o cr?tica dos indiv?duos e at? onde est?o seus limites. O objetivo central ? discutir a desmitologiza??o do conceito, no sentido de analisar a dimens?es est?tico-formativas da educa??o. Esse trabalho quer enfrentar a seguinte quest?o de fundo: ? poss?vel desmitologizar a educa??o, sem desmitologizar a ratio (raz?o instrumental), sem desmitologizar a ci?ncia, a t?cnica (tecnologias), o sistema e o modo de produ??o capitalista? Desse modo, delimita- se a seguinte problem?tica: Como pensar a educa??o no ?mbito de uma persist?ncia da raz?o instrumental? De que forma pode-se pens?-la em termos de contribui??o para a desmitologiza??o do seu conceito na atualidade? O referencial desse trabalho se insere no universo das quest?es da teoria cr?tica de Theodor W. Adorno. O fil?sofo nos traz uma importante contribui??o para situar a educa??o no contexto de persist?ncia da raz?o instrumental na atualidade. Nele estaria suposta a necessidade de se avan?ar na dire??o cr?tica do conceito de educa??o para a maioridade. Isso permitir? o questionamento das posi??es te?ricas e pr?ticas da persistente racionalidade instrumental que ? imperativa no ?mbito pedag?gico. O objetivo ? relacionar o conceito de educa??o com seus desdobramentos cr?ticos que visem se contrapor aos processos deformativos impetrados pela raz?o instrumental na atualidade. Form the basis the allow us to conceive the post-metaphysical subject in Adorno, under what conditions is possible defend the enlargement of the experience like a way of the constitution of the subjectivity, which is the basis of the moral consciousness, and that ethic signification comes to the education, in view of the subject that, morally, need to be constituted based on the experience? Starting from this problem, the general goal is to discuss the post-metaphysical subjectivity notion in Adorno, to establish, based in such subject, an ethical and educational meaning, able to guide the human formation and the moral consciousness development. As theoretical indicative, the thesis proposes that, in the moment that the education becomes an enrichment promoter of the formation experiences, is possible the enlargement of the way that happens the constitution and the development of the ethic subject. This guides us to the constitution of the environment in which the mankind is inside, this environment is called language. Therefore, the defense is about the linguistic shape as the ethical challenge of human development.It is articulated the aesthetic as a foundation under which is possible to defend the enlargement of the concept of the experience and the constitution of the subjectivity. The theoretical approach starts with a discussion on how the constitution of subjectivity and moral consciousness in Kant happens, whose foundation lies in the concepts of order and freedom, to, after, understand the change proposed by Adorno, in which aesthetics is intimately related to ethics, as is evident from the terms of concrete constellation, communication and real content. The method is analytical and conceptual, creating a confrontation between these two philosophical strands, while proposing significance to educational practice in the school environment. The propose o recognize the other as a concrete, who is inserted in a linguistic environment, and the necessity for the classroom to be an ideal place in which this environment should be shaped, is an ethical alternative to the formation, from which we can glimpse the school as a place of development and qualification of the human. / ?tica, est?tica e educa??o s?o os conceitos b?sicos presentes nesta investiga??o, a qual tem como paradigma orientador, a Teoria Cr?tica de Theodor Adorno. Adorno?s philosophy of history by the unfolding of continuum concept in the categories of proto-history, Calvary, ever-identical, self-destruction and redemption. Instead to dialogue with messianic currents of Judaism and Christianity, our intention is, through the philosophical tradition, raise the continuum to concept. This articulation does not mean that we want to counteract the theology, but has the pretension to present a closer interweaving between theology and philosophy. The thema probandum, the continuum has a double difficulty to overcome in this work: first, to emerge the continuum in Adorno?s work and then its internal consistency as a concept and ability to consolidate the philosophy of history against others concurrent positions while we establish the originality of Adorno, even compared to the authors that had a decisive influence on his thinking, in particular Walter Benjamin. / O presente trabalho pretende apresentar a filosofia da hist?ria de Theodor W. Adorno sob o desdobramento do conceito de continuum nas categorias de proto-hist?ria, calv?rio, sempre-id?ntico, autodestrui??o e reden??o. Ao inv?s de dialogarmos com as correntes messi?nicas do juda?smo e cristianismo a nossa pretens?o ?, atrav?s da pr?pria tradi??o filos?fica, elevar o continuum ao conceito. Este movimento n?o significa neutralizar a teologia, mas demonstrar um entrela?amento muito mais estreito entre ela e a filosofia. O thema probandum, o continuum, encontra uma dupla dificuldade a se superar neste trabalho: fazer emergir claramente o continuum, em primeiro lugar, na obra de Adorno, e depois sua consist?ncia interna enquanto conceito e capacidade de se afirmar diante de posi??es concorrentes de filosofia da hist?ria. Linked to the Institute of Social Research - from which would emerge the "Frankfurt School" - Adorno begins to receive attention from Brazilian intellectuals between the decades of 1950 and 1960. Since then, researchers from different areas have looked out to the work of this author, creating what we called, following Pierre Bourdieu, an academic field. This trajectory involved distinct readings, appropriations and definitions about the author, built and criticized over time. This dissertation intends to analyze this processes locating them in it's different historical moments / Esta dissertação de mestrado tem como objetivo apresentar a trajetória da recepção brasileira do filósofo alemão Theodor Adorno. Intelectual ligado ao Instituto de Pesquisas Sociais – de onde emergiria a chamada “escola de Frankfurt” – Adorno começa a tornar-se tema de reflexão dos intelectuais brasileiros entre as décadas de 1950 e 1960. Desde então, uma série de estudiosos de diferentes áreas se debruçaram sobre a obra deste autor, constituindo aquilo que definimos, seguindo Pierre Bourdieu, como um campo acadêmico. Esta trajetória envolveu leituras, apropriações e definições distintas sobre o autor, construídas e criticadas ao longo do tempo. Förmedling av invandrarförfattare : I texter som riktar sig till bibliotekssektorn / Mediation of immigrant authors : In texts connected to the library sector

The purpose of this study is to examine how immigrant authorsare mediated in texts. The study is based on three magazines which are directed towards the library sector. These texts have been published from the year 2000 to the year 2012. The study focuses on two of these magazines, namely Bibliotek i Samhälle and Biblioteksbladet. The study focuses on authors who write in the swedish language, but who still seem to be perceived as immigrant authors. The method used in this study is critical discourse analysis (CDA) according to Norman Fairclough. How the studied authors are being described are presented with quotations from the texts. These quotations are analysed from semantic relations. Further analysis displays first how immigrant authors are legitimated. Second it displays how immigrant authors are paraphrased in the texts. The results show that the texts focuses on the two authors Jonas Hassen Khemiri and Theodor Kallifatides. The texts paraphrasethe immigrant authors as participants of debates about the society,in a way that undermines the category of the immigrant author, aswell skilled in language and as public persons in book fairs. The final discussion stress that nothing indicates that the examined texts presuppose that some authors should be seen as immigrantauthors. The results of this study therefore do not support the results of earlier studies that have declared that some authors seem to be treated as immigrant authors. / Program: Bibliotekarie

Negativ dialektik och försoning : Om framställningsformen som "filosofins idé" hos Theodor Adorno

I och med det allmänna mottagandet av Theodor Adornos filosofiska projekt har filosofins framställningsform, "der Darstellung", ofta kommit att betraktas som betydelsefull för projektets realisering. I introduktionen till ett av Adornos viktigaste verk om logik och ontologi, Negative Dialektik, publicerat för första gången 1966, skriver han att "…the presentation of philosophy is not an external matter of indifference to it but immanent to its idea." Föreliggande uppsats skall försöka att förstå och utveckla en läsning av den i citatet antydda relationen mellan framställningsformen och "filosofins idé". Detta genom att undersöka några logiska och ontologiska teser, centrala för Adornos filosofiska projekt, i samband med en uttolkning av framställningsformens grundläggande drag. Utgångspunkten i uppsatsen kommer att vara Alison Stones artikel, "Adorno and Logic". I den föreslår Stone att framställningsformens betydelse för Theodor Adornos filosofi skall förstås i ljuset av en antagen strävan hos Adorno mot en filosofins försoning. Uppsatsen kommer därefter att utveckla vad denna Stones föreslagna försoning kan innebära för Adorno givet att fler delar av hans filosofi, hans idéer om språk och erfarenhet, introduceras i läsningen av hans filosofiska projekt. Genom att uppsatsen frångår Stones exklusiva fokus på logik för att samtidigt följa hennes läsning med hänsyn till idén om försoning skall vi avslutningsvis se hur Adornos idéer om språket kan förstås som en förlängning av försoningen Stone föreslagit, och vidare hur språkets försoning, som åstadkoms i och genom framställningsformen, är en del av "filosofins idé".

Att tjäna en maskin : En studie av kulturindustrin via Pirandellos roman Kameran går

Syftet med uppsatsen är övergripande att undersöka hur den tekniska mekaniseringen av samhället kommit att påverka synen på konstens och kulturens värde, vilket rört sig från det ursprungliga rituella värdet till dagens ekonomiska bytesvärde. Den undersöker även hur detta kom att påverka synen på människan som subjekt, då det inte enbart är det tekniska som innebär en mekanisering utan även samhällssystemet i sig. För att utröna på vilket sätt detta kunde komma till uttryck redan i början av 1900-talet, då mekaniseringen ännu var tämligen ny, utgår analysen från romanen Kameran går (1915) av Luigi Pirandello vari han låter filmvärlden representera hela den framväxande kulturindustrin. Genom att analysera Kameran går mot bakgrund av den därefter framväxande industrialiseringen och de politiska faktorer som rådde, samt mot teorierna kring kulturindustrin och mekaniseringen framställda av Walter Benjamin och Theodor W. Adorno, har en slående likhet gått att skönja som tyder på att dessa idéer om bland annat naturbehärskning, objektifiering, värdeförlust och kulturindustrin är tydliga redan i mekaniseringens början. De maskiner som skapas för att vara till hjälp tar istället över produktionen och både människan och konsten objektifieras. Eftersom Kameran går är skriven av en dramatiker som står mellan den allvarliga konstens scen, teatern, och den roande kulturindustrin i form av den framväxande filmindustrin ger analysen även en mer subjektiv upplevelse av denna utveckling och därmed en intressant vinkel på konstens betydelse i samhället.

Socio-economic And Socio-political Developments In Palestine Under The British Mandate: 1917-1939

This thesis analyzes the origins of the Arab-Jewish conflict and the historical evolvement of the Palestinian issue by focusing on the practices during the British mandate period. First and foremost, the factors which transformed the Jewish question into the Palestinian question are elaborated. In this context, the emergence of modern political Zionism is presented as the landmark incident in arousing the interest of the Jews dispersed all around the world in the colonization of their promised lands. Although the motive in initiating the colonizing activities in Palestine came with the advent of political Zionist thought, Jewish settlement in Palestine was materialized as a result of the development of British interests in the Middle East. The contradictory promises given to the Arabs and Jews by the British in the course of World War I are treated as the source of the conflict between them. It is stated that the Balfour Declaration, which is the manifestation of the British-Zionist alliance, is the preliminary step of the project of a Jewish state on Palestinian territories. In order to shed light on the implications of Zionist colonization on the Palestinian Arab society, first the socio-economic and socio-political circumstances in the Ottoman era are discussed. Later, the impact of the exclusivist policies of the Jews on communal relations is handled in detail. Moreover, the ways in which the pro-Zionist stance of the British mandate administration contributed to the nation-building efforts of the Jews are argued. Lastly, the causes and consequences of the sporadic Arab tensions, which broke out in 1920, 1921, 1929 and 1936 as a reaction against the British and Zionist policies, are analyzed.
