<p>"Innovasjon og høyere lederutdanning i Norge - innovasjon som politikkområde og utforming av høyere lederutdanning", er en masteravhandling avlagt ved Karlstads Universitet i 2006. I avhandlingen gjør forfatterne rede for overordnede politiske styringssignaler om utvikling av et kreativt, entreprenærielt og innovativt næringsliv i Norge og hva utvalgte studieplaner for høyere lederutdanning sier om ledelse av kreativitet, entreprenørskap og innovasjon.</p>

<p>Som en del i Maskiningenjörsutbildningen vid Karlstads Universitet har detta examensarbete utförts under en 15 veckors period. Uppdragsgivare är Scana Steel AB:s stålverk i Björneborg och arbetet behandlar en av deras traverser. Arbetet bestod i att lokalisera och om möjligt förinta vibrationer som uppfattas som störande i förarhytten till traversen. För att lokalisera vibrationerna har olika analyser genomförts med hjälp av SpectraPro samt Vibshape, vilket är två mjukvaror tillhörande mätutrustningen Easy Viber. Dessa två program ger oss möjlighet att se animeringar av traverskroppens rörelse och visa spektran för specifika punkter.</p><p>Analyserna visar på att förarhytten huvudsakligen rör sig vid tre olika frekvenser. Frekvenserna i hytten visar sig överensstämma med frekvenserna från det sista kuggingreppet på växellådan samt från kopplingen mellan motor och växellåda. En del resonansfenomen har tagits i beaktning.</p><p>Metoderna för att undvika att föraren känner obehagliga vibrationer är flera och skiljer sig stort i hur omfattande operationer som krävs. Det finns dock några åtgärder som smidigt kan prövas.</p><p>Föreslagna åtgärder för avhjälpning av vibrationerna innefattar bland annat frekvensstyrning, dynamisk dämpare och dämpande maskinfötter.</p> / <p>As a part of the Machine engineer-program at Karlstad University this dissertation has been in progress for 15 weeks. The principal is Scana Steel AB, a steelworks in Björneborg and the dissertation concerns one of their cranes. The task was to find sources to vibration and, if possible, eliminate the vibrations that the driver in the wheelhouse finds uncomfortable. To locate the source of the vibrations different analyses have been made with the help of SpectraPro and Vibshape, which are two softwares belonging to the measuring instrument Easy Viber. These two programs gave us the possibility to animate the movements of different components and they also gave us different spectra to analyze.</p><p>The analyses show that the wheelhouse mainly vibrates in three different frequencies. These frequencies appear to be the same as the frequencies from the last cogwheel and the coupling. When determining the frequencies we have also taken some resonance phenomena into consideration.</p><p>The methods how to avoid that the driver is uncomfortable due to the vibrations are numerous and require different sizes of operation. Some actions can, however, easily be tried without any bigger problems.</p><p>Suggested actions are among others dynamic damper, frequency control and damping machine shoes.</p>

<p>Case hardening distortions are a major problem for gear manufacturers. The aim of the current work is to create a simulation model, able to predict how and when case hardening distortions arise. The results presented in this thesis form a basis for such a model.</p><p>Two case hardening steels, with base carbon contents of 0.20 and 0.21 % C were studied using dilatometer experiments. One of them was carburized to 0.36, 0.52 and 0.65 % C in order to investigate the influence of carbon content. Experiments were performed during both isothermal and continuous heating and cooling conditions. The results were used to evaluate phase transformations, heat expansion behaviors and phase transformation strains. The expansion behavior of the material was modeled as a function of temperature, carbon content and phase fractions. The phase transformations to martensite and bainite were modeled, using the Koistinen-Marburger equation and a transformation rate equation based on Austin-Rickett kinetics, respectively. Experiments were simulated using the COMSOL Multiphysics software, to verify the model with respect to martensite and bainite transformations, heat expansion behavior and phase transformation strains.</p>

<p>Flygbranschen har de senaste åren befunnit sig i en kris. Många menar att flyget gått igenom ett stålbad. Olika världshändelser har skakat flygbolaget SAS och bolaget är extremt pressat av konkurrens från lågprisbolag, skenande bränslepriser och ett inre motstånd bland personalen. Inom bolaget har arbetsmiljön förändrats drastiskt och de anställda berättar i den här artikelserien hur flygbranschen var förr om åren och hur den är idag.</p>

<p>Idag har vi en skola för alla där varje elev ska få möjlighet att utvecklas efter sina förutsättningar och behov. Den här studien handlar om hur högpresterande elever i matematik upplevde grundskolan. Syftet med studien är att belysa vilket stöd högpresterande elever fått och velat ha under sina år på grundskolan och samtidigt undersöka hur de definierar sin förmåga i matematik.</p><p>Tretton semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes utifrån en kvalitativ metod med elever på gymnasiet. Resultatet visar att de högpresterande eleverna har svårt att definiera sina kunskaper och förmågor. Studiens fokus ligger vid vilket stöd de intervjuade eleverna upplevt och vilket stöd de önskat. Det som kom fram är snarare bristen på stöd och utvecklande möjligheter. Eleverna har varken upplevt berikning eller acceleration i någon större utsträckning, men individualisering och differentiering har skett på skiftande sätt. Eleverna i studien önskar att de hade varit nivågrupperade och att de hade fått mer enskild hjälp, bättre stöd och fler utmaningar.</p>

<p> </p><p><strong>Introduction</strong></p><p>Many studies indicate that there are numerous factors that promote or hamper the adoption of IT applications and are a prime concern for many researchers and practitioners (Abrahamson, 1991). Two main factors which need to be examined closely when making decisions about IT investments are the internal and external factors. Since these factors play a great role in decision making of IT investments, it is imperative to study their impact on the strategic planning because this forms the founding blocks for IT decision making.</p><p><strong>Problem</strong></p><p>As the business environment keeps on changing, managers need to thoroughly scan the environment before investing in an Information technology system. The reason is to identify the major factors that can be detrimental to the organization from reaping the potential rewards from their IT investments. Sutton, (1998) views the process of environment scanning as a technique to identify threats and opportunities while improving long and short- term planning. With the current financial crisis that started in 2007, there seems to be a pandemic concern in the massive. Inevitably, this has lead to a risen concern for organizations to carefully study this particular factor when deciding on investing in new information technology.<strong></strong></p><p><strong>Purpose</strong></p><p>The aim of this thesis is to establish and evaluate the internal and external factors affecting the decision making in IT investments, in particular ERP systems. It also seeks to contribute to literature on the impact of the current financial crisis on making IT investment decisions.</p><p><strong>Method</strong></p><p>Our research study took a deductive approach with the use of qualitative data that was collected from semi-structured interviews of three respondents. The interviewed companies were Fagerhult Belysning, Sogeti and Professor Mats-Åke Hugosson.</p><p><strong>Conclusion</strong></p><p>The evaluation of the internal and external factors affecting the decision making was analyzed with the SWOT analysis. Each potential factor was categorized under internal, strengths or weakness and external, opportunities or threats and then assisted in reducing the weaknesses in the organization and mitigating the potential threat in order to understand these factors influence on ERP adoption in Fagerhult. An advice for organizations is despite the financial crisis, the question they ought to ponder over is firstly the obvious which is, do we have the available resources? And if that is not a constraint, the next issue is how we can get the optimal value from our IT investments and our correspondents laid it out clearly; organizations need to plan ahead and continue making IT investments that aims at creating a suitable balance/ fit or harmonization between their IT and business strategy.</p>

Utomhusundervisning, studiebesök och besökande som kommer till skolan och håller i undervisning, är exempel på undervisning i autentiska miljöer. Sådan undervisning har visat sig hjälpa elever med deras inlärning, när det förekommer i kombination med annan undervisning. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på hur mycket undervisning i autentiska miljöer gymnasielärare i ett län i Sverige hade arrangerat i kurserna i naturkunskap läsåret 15/16. För att göra detta skickades en enkät ut till naturkunskapslärarna och deras rektorer i länet, och två av lärarna intervjuades. Nästan alla svarande lärare arrangerade någon typ av undervisning i autentiska miljöer. Utomhus studerades ofta den omgivande miljön. Vid studiebesök gavs eleverna information som rörde platsen de befann sig på. När besökande kom till skolan och höll i undervisningen undervisade de om hälsa, samt sex- och samlevnad.
