What is good and bad play? : A qualitative study about what teachers in an After-school centre considers to be good and bad play

Kollin, Anton, Skagvall, Ludwig January 2021 (has links)

Dubbla kupstorlekar : Framtagning och gradering av bh med dubbla kupstorlekar / Double cup sizes : Developing and grading of a bra with  double cup sizes

Ekelund, Jenny January 2017 (has links)
This study is performed in collaboration with a fashion company to develop a sports bra with double cup sizes instead of cups with single sizes. The company doesn’t have this type of product in its current line and needs a grading that is adapted for this type of cup and a measurement chart with grading intervals. Grading intervals from both the company and SIS (Swedish standard) are compared to determine which grading intervals fit this purpose best.  A bra pattern is then graded for each different interval. The two different graded bras are sewn in two different sizes each that are evaluated during a fitting session. The test person also compares the fit and size of the double cup size to a single cup size. The result of the grading and the fittings show that the grading according to the company provides the best fit for the desired double cup sizes.

Gunduz, Madelen January 2009 (has links)
<p>The purpose of this project is to examine students' pespectives on quality in teaching. The characteristics that are described to denote a 'good' and 'less good' teachers are linked to ideas about types of corresponding leadership styles in the classroom. The report is based on surveys of students in Upplands-Bro high school outside Stockholm. In order to get better insight and further knowledge of the subject, the student accounts have been related to current discussions in the literature about good leadership and teaching quality.</p><p>Following the methodology of grounded theory a pilot study was constructed to design the research instruments. In the pilot study I collected students' perceptions on quality-related categories in teaching and leadership which then formed a bases for a survey which was distributed to a larger student sample. The survey includes questions that relate to the middle order, which is based on three criteria that make up the characteristics of a 'good'/ 'less good' teacher and the leadership style that suits students descriptions of good teacher characteristics.</p><p>The results of the study show that a good teacher should have subject knowledge, be good at writing and illustrating the curriculum on the whiteboard and explain and clarify their instruction through good communication. Results of the category 'a less good teacher' show characteristics of a teacher who does not have subject expertise, and who does not vary their teaching styles as well as favors some students over others.</p><p>The discussion concludes the study by highlighting significant implications of the survey for teaching practice. The student perspective reported on in this study, gives evidence for the importance of considering students' perspectives in maintaining quality in teaching practice and classroom leadership.</p><p> </p>

Groverův algoritmus v kvantovém počítání a jeho aplikace / Grover's algorithm in Quantum computing and its applications

Katabira, Joseph January 2021 (has links)
Demonstrovali jsme sílu tohoto kvantového algoritmu při prohledávání databáze a porovnávali ho s klasickými nekvantovými algoritmy pomocí implementace prostřednictvím simulačního prostředí QISKit.

Strandelin, Ida January 2017 (has links)
The stated aim of building the Swedish welfare state ("Folkhemmet") was to develop a modern society that contained equality between social classes. Interestingly, though, class inequalities still exist but have become obscured by an endeavour to reach cultural recognition with a particular focus on multiculturalism. This paper seeks to demonstrate the production and reproduction of class inequalities in Lena Andersson's novel Var det bra så?. Nancy Fraser's theory of redistribution and recognition is used to highlight the complexity and intersection of culture, ethnicity, gender and class. In that context, it is claimed that class inequalities have to be separated from cultural discrimination when the aim is to examine the establishment of social inequalities. Fraser argues that socio-economic segregation has to be seen in the light of economic and cultural inequalities as being two separate phenomena, even though they clearly are interrelated. Var det bra så? is here viewed as a critique of the Swedish welfare state ("Folkhemmet") as a political concept. The novel depicts how the focus on and belief in multiculturalism as central for the development of society has entailed a marginalization and culturalization of class.

” … då lever man i två världar på något sätt …” : Om några vuxna kvinnliga läsares upplevelser av ”en bra bok” / “… then somehow you are living in two worlds …” : About some adult female readers’ experiences of “a good book”

Anund, Anneli, Eckerberg Sanvik, Eva January 2011 (has links)
This Master’s thesis provides insights into adult women’s fictional reading within the conceptual phrase “a good book”. Eight qualitative and semi-structured interviews were performed in order to examine the nature of response and perceived benefits. The collected data were analyzed by Louise M. Rosenblatt’s reception-oriented transactional theory of reading and the cognitive psychology-based model of reading developed within the joint Nordic project SKRIN. The thesis perspectives entail a substantive shift of focus from the comprehension of a “good book” to the understanding of a “good” reading experience. The evaluative response “good” is considered by the means of separate understandings in what ways evaluation occur in a mutual relationship between reader and text. Results show that a “good” read is characterized by interacting aesthetic and cognitive aspects partly shaped by personal circumstances but not grounded in any individual contextbound situation. The primary perceived benefit is the personal commitment based on a socially oriented reading. Communication created between reader and text is partly shaped by ethical standpoints. Although at times emotionally demanding reads, most women refer to them as entertaining and recreational. A “good” read provides knowledge within the understanding of objective and subjective dimensions of learning. The primary perceived benefit of knowledge is subjectively expressed as insights and understandings. Conclusions are that the women seem to appreciate leaving their immediate life for the sharing of other worlds and perspectives. Consequently a “good” read offers the opportunity to broaden personal horizons by participation in other social and cultural settings than the adjacent. / Program: Bibliotekarie

Friederici, Ida, Schmidt, Linda January 2009 (has links)
The purpose with this paper is to examine the view of nature and the urban environment from a health point of view, from ten individuals in a rehabilitation Program, with focus on nature. Interview was chosen as method due to it was considered to be the most appropriate method to respond to the purpose of the paper. Using interview as method made it possible to understand the insights and thoughts of the individuals about the nature. The interviews where analyzed with inspiration from Steinar Kvale and his “meningskategorisering”. The result showed that the majority of the individuals experienced wellbeing when visiting the nature and its environment among plants and animals. The individuals experienced that the urban environment is a place where stress and noise from traffic is frequent. Despite that, many individuals feel that the natural environment for them is the urban environment. Most of the individuals points out that there is calm in the nature and a possibility for relaxation that does not exist in the urban environment in the same extent. The individuals describe the possibility to cope with the everyday life through the strength they receive from the nature.</p>

Jonsson, Elin, Fahlén, Helena January 2005 (has links)
<p>The purpose of this survey was to map out the health pf some of the 11 and 12 years old children in the city of Umeå, as well as to find out what factors intend to influense the children´s health. A questionnaire was distributed in four 6th grade classes whitin the municipality of Umeå. Two of the schools were located in the city while two were located in near villages. This selection was decided in order to map out diffrences in health related to the children´s home environment. 80 pupils took part of this study. The answers to the questionnaire were put together whit the SPSS softwere. The results showed that children who was living with both the parents in the same household tend to experience anxiety more often than children who was living with separate parents. Futhermore the study showed that children living in the city very often went home together with a friend or to a friends house after, while children living in the village mainly went home alone to an empty house after school. When comparing the children´s physical exercise habits and their tirednedd, the result showed that children who more often subject to tiredness are those who seldom practise physical exercise as well as those who exercise a lot. Most of the children pointed out that family and friends were the most important factors relevant for a good health.</p>
