Formação continuada de professores com o uso de Tecnologias Digitais : produção de atividades de conteúdos matemáticos a partir do currículo paulista /Chinellato, Tiago Giorgetti January 2019 (has links)
Orientador: Sueli Liberatti Javaroni / Resumo: Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar quais são as perspectivas que os professores têm quando participam de uma formação continuada com tecnologias e elaboram atividades de conteúdos matemáticos, inspiradas no material didático do estado de São Paulo e mediadas pelo software GeoGebra. Para isso, elaborou-se e desenvolveu-se uma ação formativa, que incentivou os professores, os quais ensinam Matemática e estão vinculados à Diretoria de Ensino de Guaratinguetá, a produzirem atividades matemáticas com o GeoGebra. Diante disso, optou-se por utilizar a metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa, porque o interesse se concentrou em aspectos subjetivos em consonância com o objetivo enunciado. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, alguns procedimentos metodológicos foram utilizados. São eles: gravações em vídeos dos encontros do curso e em áudios de relatos do pesquisador, aplicação de questionários com os docentes e gravação dos diálogos ocorridos durante a ação formativa. Assim, a partir da triangulação dos dados produzidos por esses procedimentos, eixos de análise emergiram e foram organizados com base no objetivo da pesquisa, sendo eles: A perspectiva dos cursistas sobre as ações desenvolvidas na formação continuada de professores voltada para o uso das Tecnologias Digitais e A produção de conhecimento, a experimentação-com-GeoGebra e a visualização permitida pelas TD na produção das atividades desenvolvidas pelos cursistas. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This research aimed to investigate what are the perspectives that teachers have when participating in a continuous formation with technologies and elaborate activities of mathematical content, inspired by the didactic material of the state of São Paulo and mediated by GeoGebra software. For this, a training action was developed and developed, which encouraged teachers, who teach mathematics and are linked to the Guaratinguetá Teaching Board, to produce mathematical activities with GeoGebra. Therefore, we chose to use the qualitative research methodology, because the interest was focused on subjective aspects in line with the stated objective. For the development of the research, some methodological procedures were used. They are: video recordings of the course meetings and researcher reports audios, application of questionnaires with teachers and recording of dialogues that took place during the training. Computational Thinking in der Musikwissenschaft: Jupyter Notebook als Umgebung für Lehre und ForschungSeifert, Uwe, Klaßmann, Sebastian, Varelmann, Timo, Dahmen, Nils 29 October 2020 (has links)
We show that in connection with the digitalization of musicology a special kind of mathematical and logical thinking, i. e. computational thinking/literacy, is in need. Computational thinking is characterized by effective procedures whereas computational literacy includes the implementation of these procedures on machines, i.e. programming. Both are the core of formalization, model building and computer simulation. Furthermore, we point out that “computation” as a central concept for the sciences in the 21st century and its use in cognitive science and the computational sciences make it necessary to reassess the basic assumptions underlying musicological research as science of mind (Geisteswissenschaft). We propose a digital habitat to integrate computational thinking/literacy in musicology and to become acquainted with model building and computer simulation. Jupyter Notebook provides a basis for such a digital habitat. We describe our use of Jupyter Notebook as a teaching environment for computational thinking/literacy.

Though the field of dramaturgy is growing in size and scope in professional theatre, there are relatively few universities or colleges that offer undergraduate or graduate degrees in basic dramaturgical theory and practice. Brigham Young University (BYU) is an ideal setting for the development of such a program. There is a close community within and surrounding the university; the Theatre and Media Arts Department has high pedagogical expectations; and the Theatre program provides multiple opportunities for theatrical production. I saw these qualities as an invitation to develop a dramaturgy emphasis for undergraduate students that would allow them to network with the community and build intellectual skills that could be integrated into artistic performance. In order to create this emphasis, courses and protocol needed to be developed in order to establish a model dramaturgical procedure for undergraduate training. In this thesis, I address the following issues:

While Machine Learning is one of the most popular research areas in Computer Science, there are still only a few deployed applications intended for use by the general public. We have developed an exemplary application that can be directly applied to eBay trading. Our system predicts how much an item would sell for on eBay based on that item's attributes. We ran our experiments on the eBay laptop category, with prior trades used as training data. The system implements a feature-weighted k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, using genetic algorithms to determine feature weights. Our results demonstrate an average prediction error of 16%; we have also shown that this application greatly reduces the time a reseller would need to spend on trading activities, since the bulk of market research is now done automatically with the help of the learned model.

[pt] Essa pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o uso do Caderno Pedagógico no ensino de Ciências em turmas do ensino fundamental da Secretaria Municipal de Educação/Rio de Janeiro. Procuramos compreender como o professor utiliza e avalia o caderno pedagógico e como ele é incorporado em sua prática em sala de aula. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e foram utilizados os seguintes recursos metodológicos: entrevistas, observações das aulas de ciências e aplicação de questionários aos alunos. O referencial teórico tem como base estudos sobre as recentes reformas educacionais influenciadas por princípios neoliberais (Afonso, 2012; Ball, 2012; Freitas, 2014), discussões sobre o ensino apostilado no Brasil (Adrião 2009; Marcondes, 2013) e reflexões acerca das atuais tendências para o ensino de ciências (Carvalho, 2004; Krasilchick, 1992; Delizoicov, 2008). As conclusões da pesquisa indicam que a adoção do caderno pedagógico influencia o modo de ensinar ciências. Todos os professores pesquisados utilizam o caderno como norteador, alguns como o único recurso didático, enquanto outros utilizam o caderno, porém, complementam suas aulas com outras atividades de elaboração própria. O uso do caderno como norteador minimiza, nas escolas pesquisadas, o desenvolvimento do Projeto Político Pedagógico. Como o conteúdo do caderno está diretamente vinculado às questões da Prova Bimestral, o que é cobrado nessas provas determina o que vai ser ensinado em sala de aula. A pesquisa mostrou, ainda, que os professores reconhecem vantagens e limitações no uso do caderno não adotando uma postura passiva diante deste material, ao contrário, fazem adaptações e adequações à realidade de sua turma. / [en] The purpose of this research was to analyze the classroom use of the Science schoolbook in primary schools of the Municipal Department of Education of Rio de Janeiro. We sought to understand how teachers employ and evaluate the schoolbook and how it is incorporated into their teaching practice. The research has a qualitative nature, and the following methodological resources were employed: interviews, observation of Science classes, and questionnaires administered to students. The theoretical framework is based on studies on recent educational reforms influenced by neoliberal principles (Afonso, 2012; Ball, 2012; Freitas, 2014), debates on schoolbook-based teaching in Brazil (Adrião 2009; Marcondes, 2013), and reflections on current Science teaching trends (Carvalho, 2004; Krasilchick, 1992; Delizoicov, 2008). The conclusions of the research indicate that adopting the schoolbook influences the way of teaching Science. All teachers researched use the schoolbook as a guiding tool. Some use it as their single teaching resource, whereas others employ it along with complementary activities devised by themselves. In the schools researched, the use of the schoolbook as a guiding tool minimizes the development of the Political Pedagogical Project. Since the contents of the schoolbook are directly linked to the Bimonthly Examinations, what is asked in those exams determines what will be taught in class. The research also showed that since teachers acknowledge both advantages and limitations regarding the use of the schoolbook, their approach toward it is not passive; on the contrary, they make adjustments and adaptations to the their students reality.

Geospatial Optimisation Methods for Mini-grid Distribution Networks : MSc Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE)La Costa, Jessica January 2022 (has links)
In 2019, 770 million people worldwide lived without electricity. As many as 490 million people could be electrified with 210,000 mini-grids by 2030. Obtaining information for decision-making is crucial to determine the viability of such a project. Currently, it is a major challenge for mini-grid developers to gather this information at the speed and scale necessary to make effective investment choices. Village Data Analytics (VIDA) is a decision-making tool used for mini-grid project planning and site selection. This paper presents a method to estimate the cost of a mini-grid distribution network on a site-by-site basis. This method can estimate the total demand, potential connections, distribution infrastructure components and corresponding costs for each site. The model can make predictions for 50 sites within two hours so the tool is especially useful for preliminary estimates in the planning phase. A more detailed study of the individual sites is recommended. Comparison with a benchmark has shown that on-site conditions often reveal activities that can only be captured by a survey. However, collecting on-site data is time-consuming and costly. Therefore, GIS and modelling tools can serve as a good approximation of the on-ground reality and are relevant to accelerate planning and support timely decision-making. / 2019 levde 770 miljoner människor världen över utan elektricitet. Taiwan GE Plastic general manager leveraged Taiwan’s unique advantages on product specifications to gain strategic importance and supports from its global and regional headquarter. This manager realized several facts: first, although Taiwan moved its manufacturing components to mainland China. Taiwan kept its designing capabilities in-house; second. Greater China needs Taiwan’s capabilities to complete the value chain and generate profits; third, she maintained favorable relationships with the global headquarter and China regional headquarter. In lights of these facts, she sold an innovative concept to the global headquarter and attained resources to create a platform that kept Taiwan GE plastic relevant. This “speciation-dictating” platform enabled Taiwan GE Plastic to dominate its industry and contribute enormously to its sibling, the China branch. Not only wasn’t it marginalized, Taiwan GE Plastic placed itself in a key strategic position and gained recognition from its mother headquarter. This platform is not bounded by a particular industry and can be used in many other domains. Practitioners from other industries in Taiwan may gain insightful implications from this case and reposition their Taiwan branches in a vantage point.

台灣筆記型電腦產業流程差異化探討-以服務創新為分析架構賴宗志 Unknown Date (has links)
近年來服務創新風起雲湧,由服務科學在世界研究之進展,可以看出「服務科學」將成為下一個熱門學科的風潮。國內外著名大學或研究中心投入甚多資源於服務科學之研究與人才培育,就算是製造業,對於服務的提供亦是相當重視,希望透過服務增加價值、強化競爭力,以利與同業進行對抗。因此在現今服務相關的學術領域中,如何透過服務創新以強化競爭力就變得是重要的議題。
本研究以服務創新為架構針對流程差異化進行探討,選擇我國筆記型電腦代工產業進行研究,期望能幫產業找到出路,也為服務創新開創新猷。我國筆記型電腦代工產業由於對於國際大廠之忠誠度與服務滿意度均獲肯定,是故世界上有90%的筆記型電腦代工均是由我國廠商進行,本研究以服務創新解析筆記型電腦產業,進而了解其流程差異化對於競爭力之影響。
本研究將使用Rob Bilderbeek與Pim DenHertog等學者於1998年8月發表之論文中指出服務創新的四個構面進行個案撰寫,素材則是深度訪談與次級資料並用,個案的公司是我國筆記型電腦第一大廠-廣達電腦(Quanta),以及由研究者立意選的華宇電腦(Arima)與精英電腦(Elitegroup)。最後將產業分析與個案分析進行比對,做出本研究之結論與建議,並針對流程差異化在筆記型電腦產業所引發的服務創新相關議題進行省思。 / The service innovation in Taiwan has been thriving in recent years. With the development of service science, we can see its future potential to be the next trend of popular study. Many famous colleges and research centers all over the world invest a lot in research of service science and the cultivation of the experts. Even a manufacturing industry will put a high emphasis on its services. They hope to compete with their counterparts by adding the value and strengthening their competiveness through service. Therefore, how to strengthen competitiveness through service innovation has become an
important issue.
This research will use service innovation as a framework to discuss process differentiation, expecting to find much more profound thoughts of innovation services and then open a new gate for industry. Taiwan’s notebook computer fundry industry composes 90 percent in the world market thanks to the acknowledgement from global brand-names in terms of loyalty to the brand and satisfaction of service. This research will analyze the notebook industry from the aspect of service innovation and then the effect of process differentiation has on competitiveness.
Rob Bilderbeek and Pim DenHertog’s essay in August 1998 discussing service innovation in four dimensions are used in my essay, which are: new service concept, new client interface, new service delivery system and technological options.
Interviews in depth and secondary data will be used at the same time. The case studies included are Quanta, Arima and Elitegroup. Quanta have the largest scale in Taiwan notebook industry which may be resulted from their service innovation that enhances their competitiveness. Through their case, I hope to find the edge of those similar companies in Taiwan.
To sum up, this research touches on the innovation services especially of notebook computer industry. Comparing industry analysis and case study can lead us to think about the following issues: whether service innovation is easy to be come up with, whether there are too many similar aspects in this industry, what competitive situation or custom can lead to such a desirable result, and how we can deal with the problem when there are too many people doing the same thing.

The diploma thesis deals with detailed look at the project Education 21 and so the teaching using new technologies, especially interactive whiteboards and netbooks, in Czech schools. The objective was observation of teaching mathematics, methods of using interactive whiteboards and netbooks in mathematics lessons at secondary schools participating project Education 21. Evaluation and conclusions are based on analyzes of lessons recorded in the academic year 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, which were investigated and further divided into shorter stories in case that interactive whiteboard or netbook was used in some way. I watched purpose and the way of use of interactive whiteboard or netbook in the episodes, then the material which this technology was used with the aid of and who worked with interactive whiteboard. Some episodes can serve as an example of "good" or interesting way of working with the IWB and NTB in mathematics lessons, or they can be an inspiration for other mathematics teachers but also teachers of other subjects.
