With the aid of technological tools in georeferencing and chartogram generation, the theoretical and methodological perspective was built in the interdisciplinary angle, allowing views both from a high standpoint and from eye level. It is certain that cemeterial symbology intends the expression or transmission of cultural values, for the establishment and reaffirmation of identities and social relations. The plurality of these values, expressed by the funerary spaces and by the art and history contained in there, is profoundly related to the different ways found to deal with the question of death itself. / Esta pesquisa se propôs a investigar a constituição das representações de alteridade nas construções tumulares presentes no Cemitério Municipal São José, desde a sua instituição em Ponta Grossa (Paraná/Brasil), em 1881, até os dias atuais, a partir dos elementos materiais e simbólicos selecionados. Com o auxilio de ferramentas tecnológicas de geo-referenciamento e geração de cartogramas, a perspectiva teórica e metodológica se construiu no viés interdisciplinar, permitindo olhares do alto e em primeiro plano. É certo que a simbologia cemiterial objetiva a expressão ou transmissão dos valores culturais, para o estabelecimento e reafirmação das identidades e relações sociais. A pluralidade destes valores, expressos pelos espaços funerários e pela arte e história ali contidas, está profundamente relacionada às diferentes maneiras encontradas para se lidar com a própria questão da morte.

sustentabilidade tem ganhado cada vez mais relevância nas organizações. A simbologia positiva que ela desperta gera interesse de empresas dos mais variados perfis, que a incorporam em seus discursos e práticas. O objetivo deste estudo é entender como a sustentabilidade é percebida pelos diversos agentes e influenciadores de sua adoção nas empresas. Para atingir este objetivo, foram entrevistados profissionais envolvidos na transmissão e efetivação deste conceito nas organizações brasileiras, incluindo colaboradores de áreas de sustentabilidade em empresas, consultores especializados, acadêmicos e líderes de instituições representativas para sua disseminação no meio empresarial. Como resultados, temos a identificação das diferentes visões da sustentabilidade presentes nas organizações estudadas e discussões acerca do futuro da sustentabilidade nas organizações, incluindo as etapas de sua aplicação nas empresas brasileiras e caminhos para seu desenvolvimento. É explorada ainda a evolução do próprio conceito de sustentabilidade, com especial atenção a dois paradigmas: o paradigma simbólico, em que a redução do consumo passe a ser vista simbolicamente como positiva, e o paradigma econômico, no qual a redução dos volumes vendidos pelas empresas possa ser uma possibilidade. Na construção dos sentidos para a sustentabilidade destaca-se o papel da comunicação, responsável por trazer-lhe a significação necessária e fazê-la circular, possibilitando sua ressignificação social e nas organizações. Essa perspectiva traz para a área de comunicação organizacional um grande desafio, à qual cabe a missão de ajudar a empresa a encarar a sustentabilidade sob uma perspectiva positiva, colaborando para que ela seja incorporada na estratégia do negócio e em sua visão de longo prazo. / Sustainability is gaining an increasing importance in organizations. The positive symbolism that it awakens generates interest from companies of various profiles. These companies incorporate the concept in their organizational discourse and managerial practice. The aim of this study is to understand how the concept of sustainability is perceived by the various players and influencers of its adoption in companies. To achieve this goal, interviews were conducted with professionals involved in the transmission and adoption of the concept in Brazilian organizations, including employees from areas of sustainability in selected companies, consultants specialized in this field, and academics and leaders of representative institutions for dissemination of sustainability in Brazilian organizations. As a result, we have identified the different views of sustainability present in the studied organizations. Discussions were elaborated considering the future of sustainability in organizations, including the various stages of its development in Brazilian companies. We also explored the evolution of the concept of sustainability, with special attention to two paradigms: the symbolic paradigm, in which the reduction of consumption begins to be seen as symbolically positive, and the economic paradigm, in which the reduction in volumes sold by companies needs to be a possibility. In the construction of the symbolism of sustainability, we highlight the role of organizational communication, responsible for bringing the required significance and circulating it in the society, enabling its social and organizational redefinition. This perspective brings to the organizational communication area a major challenge, becoming responsible for the mission of helping the company to face the sustainability challenge in a positive way, working for it to be incorporated into the business strategy and the long-term vision of companies.

Realizamos neste trabalho uma análise das aparições de Nossa Senhora no Brasil, buscando compreender o processo social e simbólico que sustenta a formação de convicções coletivas em torno das aparições que sempre tem seu início em testemunhos pessoais sobre visões de Nossa Senhora. Para isso partimos do estudo de caso realizado nas aparições de Maria na cidade de Jacareí, interior de São Paulo. Demonstramos o processo de construção destas manifestações, em que fatores de diferente ordem se mostraram fundamentais. Entre eles destacamos: as relações e conexões estabelecidas entre os atores e grupos envolvidos inserindo a aparição numa rede de manifestações marianas -; a peregrinação entre elas; a centralidade do movimento católica Renovação Carismática na organização dos eventos, disseminação de idéias e práticas e na modelagem simbólica dos fenômenos -; o papel desempenhado pela Igreja Católica na produção de idéias e crenças que servem como fonte de legitimidade para as aparições -; a modelagem simbólica das aparições fundamental para a atribuição de legitimidade ao fenômeno -, e a presença de elementos simbólicos de longa duração. Cada um desses temas foi desenvolvido ao longo dos quatro capítulos que compõem essa tese. / The thesis analyses Our Ladys appearances in Brazil, trying to understand the social and symbolic process supporting the creation of collective beliefs about these appearances, a process that always start with personal witness about the appearances of Our Lady. In order to analyze that, we realize a case study in the city of Jacareí, São Paulo state. The thesis reveals the process in which these appearances occur, where different factors are fundamental. Among them we shall focus: 1) the relations and connections involving individuals and groups, inserting the apparitions in a net of Mary´s demonstrations, like pilgrimages; 2) the Catholic Church role in the production of ideas and beliefs which give legitimacy to the appearances; 3) the symbolic molding of theses appearances, which are fundamental to that legitimacy; 4) the presence of long terms symbolic elements. Each one of these topics was developed in a separate chapter.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The present work sought to develop a discussion about the Galilean ship. Discovered in 1986, on the shores of Lake Galilee, and dating to the first century D.C. It represents the first information of vessels from this period arising from material culture, for until then, the theme was present only in the biblical texts of the New Testament. In this way, the finding allowed a symbolic discussion about elements present in religious narratives because they presented different meanings. In this context, we seek to initiate an archaeological and symbolic analysis of this boat as nautical artefact, seeking to understand the different symbologies that surround it. / O presente trabalho buscou desenvolver uma discussão sobre o barco da Galileia. Descoberto em 1986, às margens do lago da Galileia, e datado do primeiro século D.C.. Representa a primeira informação de embarcações deste período decorrente da cultura material, pois até então, o tema estava presente somente nos textos bíblicos do Novo Testamento. Desta forma, o achado permitiu uma discussão simbólica sobre elementos presentes nas narrativas religiosas por apresentarem significados diferentes. Neste contexto, procuramos iniciar uma análise arqueológica e simbólica deste barco, enquanto artefato náutico, buscando compreender quais as diferentes simbologias que o envolvem. / Laranjeiras

Starting with bibliographical research as a basis of support, a hermeneutic process is utilized in the de-construction of the poems being studied in order to verify the fabric of her work. Initial1y, the social-cultural enviroment lived and represented by Cora Coralina, which gives birth to the majority of her themes, is established. What is sought to be shown is how the authoress constructs by means of nature' s elements ( earth, water, vegetation, rocks) manifestations that mark the presence of the force of the sacred in her poetry elevating the profane world to this irrefutable condition by means of a rich symbology with which her verses are ornamented. Her identification with the "obscure" (workers, marginalized women, the poor, the outcast) and her symbiosis with the elements of animate (animals, plants, roots etc.) and inanimate (earth, land, rocks etc.) nature are researched. Final1y, the plausibility of Coralina s world, which via religiousness and mysticism is impregnated with diverse levels of transcendence converting that which is particular into universal, is sought to be revealed. What one seeks to disclose as a synthesis to all this examination is human essence as scrutinized by the poetess, who is a representative of the presence of the feminine being in the world. / Este trabalho tem por objetivo fazer um estudo analítico da religiosidade presente na escritura poética de Cora Coralina, destacando também sua representatividade no cenário das letras goianas e as multifaces de suas simbologias, possibilitadas pela ressignificação dos signos lingüísticos com que a poetisa elabora o universo de suas conotações. Partindo de uma pesquisa bibliográfica como suporte teórico, utiliza-se um processo hermenêutico na desconstrução dos poemas em estudo, a fim de verificar como se processa a sua tecitura. Inicialmente, situa-se o ambiente sóciocultural vivido/representado por Cora, gestador maior de suas temáticas. Procura-se mostrar que, por intermédio dos elementos da natureza: terra, água, vegetação, pedra, a autora constrói hierofanias que marcam a força do sagrado em sua poesia, alçando o mundo profano à irrefutável condição de sagrado por meio da rica simbologia com que orna seus versos. Investiga-se sobre suas identificações com os obscuros (trabalhadores, mulheres excluídas, gente humilde, marginalizados) e sobre suas simbioses com os elementos da natureza animada (animais, plantas, raízes etc.) e inanimada (terra, gleba, pedra etc). Por fim, busca-se revelar a plausibilidade do mundo coralineano que, por via da religiosidade e do misticismo, é impregnado de diversas transcendências, as quais convertem o que é local em universal. Como síntese de todas essas perquirições, tenta-se desvelar a essência humana perscrutada pela poetisa, representante do ser feminino no mundo.

Propõe-se neste trabalho analisar as elaborações culturais relativas à política externa estadunidense no seriado televisivo Jornada nas Estrelas: Nova Geração em sua primeira temporada (1987-1988), produzido em um momento de mudanças históricas em que um discurso político de nova ordem mundial estava sendo gestado. Expectativas do fim da Guerra Fria trariam consigo, como evento simbólico, a necessidade de uma nova elaboração simbólica das relações entre Estados Unidos e o mundo. Assim, esta pesquisa buscou discernir na série as características de uma estrutura discursiva diferente dos discursos de guerra e paz mais típicos do período de Guerra Fria na ficção científica. Articulando-se, na série, com os temas da ajuda humanitária e da não interferência, articulação ambígua aqui denominada de militarismo benfazejo, o discurso do seriado antecede um debate que se intensifica na década de 1990 sobre a aceitação ou não do princípio de interferência em outros Estados por via das causas humanitárias. Na tentativa de acompanhar a dispersão do discurso de guerra e paz no campo discursivo, procurou-se ampliar a análise para as articulações discursivas de guerra e paz em ramos discursivos não ficcionais, mantendo como foco o discurso do seriado, na análise minuciosa de sua construção e da forma como este articulou valores pertinentes ao seu discurso de guerra e paz. Buscou-se nas narrativas das imagens o que se evidenciou como a formulação de um novo objeto simbólico para a política externa estadunidense daquele momento. / This work analyzes cultural elaborations relative to American international affairs in the first season of the television series Star Trek: the Next Generation (1987-1988). That moment of historical changes saw the dawn of a new world order discourse. Expectations of a nearing end to the Cold War brought forth the need of new symbolic elaborations concerning the relations between the United States and the rest of the world. Thus, this research aimed to pinpoint the features of a new war and peace discursive structure, differing, comparatively, from the war and peace discourses proper to Cold War culture. Preceding the intense 1990s debate about the admission of the principle of intervention in other states on humanitarian grounds, the series associates its war and peace discourse with themes of humanitarianism and non-interference in an ambiguous symbolic articulation here denominated benevolent militarism. In an attempt to follow its dispersion in the discursive field that permeates fictional and non-fictional discursivities, the discursive articulation of war and peace was, at least in part, observed in other fictional and non-fictional constructs. Yet, the main focus was kept on the series: a detailed analysis of its symbolic, imagerial and narrative construction was carried out, leading to the investigation of the ways in which the series articulated values pertaining to its war and peace discourse. This work addresses what seems to be partaking in the beginnings of the formulation of a new symbolic object of the American international affairs at the time.

For answering this question we realized a quality research mixed with quantity aspects that can contribute to understand the phenomena s involved. For developing this work we searched theoretical basement in Levy s works, that deal with the technologies evolution and in Kenski, when his works refer to the relation between technologies and education. Borba and Tikhomirov give us support between the relations of cognition and learning when the new technologies are being used. Cybis, Gamez and Ramos give us the basement for the ergonomics analysis and AVA legibly. Salmazo, Hoelzel and Nielsen are presents in aspects related to communication. Others authors have permeated the discussion in a sharp way for the comprehension of specific situations. The analisys of the data researched permitted us to conclude that the language usually used in web ambients, conjugated in a media that it is inserts, can bring problems of interpretation and comprehension from the statement of the problems. We realized that difficulties are more evident when it´s used the computer medium than the paper medium. We concluded that the paper medium can facilitate the solution of mathematical problems, if compared to the computer medium, that subjects manage to interpret in a correct way the statements proposed to the language usually used in web ambients , they manage to use the computer to solve problems that use mathematical symbology as long as they have access to necessary resources and the union between the computer medium to the language usually used in web ambients presented difficulties to the subjects participants in the survey. For remedying or minimize these problems we suggest that have an improvement in the communication between the user and the text presented to it. For complying this suggestion the texts used in AVAs must be elaborated carefully to be scannable according to Nielsen conception. The use of these resources when the text is being written it´s not the guarantee of the elimination from the problems observed, but can open a new perspective of the analysis for these problems, since that new forms and characteristics of writing arise new necessities of behaving analysis from the subjects front the problems presented that are formulated with basis in these new possibilities / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo central verificar de que forma o emprego da linguagem usualmente aplicada em ambientes web, em detrimento da linguagem simbólico-matemática, pode interferir na interpretação de problemas matemáticos formulados com o uso da linguagem web . Para responder a essa questão, realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa mesclada com aspectos quantitativos que podem contribuir para o entendimento dos fenômenos envolvidos. Para desenvolver o trabalho, buscamos embasamento teórico na obra de Levy, no que trata da evolução das tecnologias, e em Kenski, no que diz respeito à relação entre tecnologias e educação. Borba e Tikhomirov nos dão suporte nas relações entre cognição e aprendizagem quando em uso de novas tecnologias. Cybis, Gamez e Ramos nos dão o embasamento para a análise da ergonomia e legibilidade dos AVA. Salmazo, Hoelzel e Nielsen estão presentes nos aspectos relativos à comunicação. Outros autores permeiam a discussão de forma pontual para a compreensão de situações específicas. A análise dos dados levantados nos permitiu concluir que a linguagem usualmente utilizada em ambientes web, conjugada à mídia em que ela se insere, pode trazer problemas de interpretação e compreensão dos enunciados dos problemas. Percebemos que as dificuldades são mais evidentes quando usada a mídia computador, em relação à mídia papel. Concluímos que o papel pode ser um facilitador para a resolução de problemas matemáticos, se comparado ao computador; que os sujeitos conseguem interpretar de forma correta os enunciados propostos em linguagem usualmente utilizada em ambientes web, também conseguem utilizar o computador para resolver problemas que utilizam a simbologia matemática, desde que tenham acesso aos recursos necessários e que a junção da mídia computador com a linguagem usualmente utilizada em ambientes web apresentou dificuldades aos sujeitos participantes da pesquisa. Para sanar ou minimizar esses problemas, sugerimos que haja uma melhora na comunicação entre o usuário e o texto a ele apresentado. Para atender a essa sugestão, os textos utilizados em AVA devem ser elaborados com cuidado para que sejam scannable, segundo a concepção de Nielsen. O uso desses recursos na escrita do texto não garante a eliminação dos problemas observados, mas pode abrir uma nova perspectiva de análise para esses problemas, uma vez que, com novas formas e características de escrita, surgem novas necessidades de análise do comportamento dos sujeitos em relação a problemas formulados com base nessas novas possibilidades

This research aims to highlight and analyze these features seeking to understand them and respond to guiding question "What is the function and meaning of this narrative for the ancient Israelites?". Justify the search in the search for meaning of a sacred history of antiquity that inspired and instructed the people - Jews, and became so important that was recorded in its main holy book. From Mircea Eliade, Gilbert Durand, Joseph Campbell, Arnold Van Gennep, Gershom Sholem, among others, traveled a path where a reading is made of three Bible stories. The methodology used is that of literature with a qualitative approach with reference to the Hebrew Bible and books specializing in myth and symbol, watch out for an analysis supported by the anthropological school of religion. As results stand out: A scenario redundant - a couple who is in a well - alluding to a microcosm and refers the image center, as Eliade - the navel of the world as well, which draws the two complementary forces (male and female) that promote the creation, a plot that evolves into an outcome - an alien who presents after a long journey stops and rests in a well. A woman finds. There is a dialogue between them. There offering water. The woman returns to her home and reported the incident. The alien remains in the well. Relatives of the woman they meet abroad and invites him to join. The alien remains some time with them. Is a marriage; The myth of androgen as primary justification for marriage in Judaism; The journey in search of the bride; The symbolism of the meeting; The mitocrítica these Bible stories. In any way disregard the many other forms of analysis and interpretation previously promoted by researchers, theologians and biblical scholars. This is just a glimpse into the object of the meeting of the wives of the Biblical patriarchs. A look influenced by theorists of symbolic hermeneutics, giving its contribution to the understanding of something that is bigger than any one mind may have already guessed, is that the religious phenomenon and its various forms to submit to the man. / Na Bíblia observamos nas histórias do encontro das esposas de Isaac, Jacó e Moisés: uma imagem mítica, um mesmo enredo e um mito. Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo destacar e analisar estas características buscando compreende-los e responder a pergunta norteadora qual a função e significado desta narrativa para os antigos israelitas? . Justificamos a pesquisa na busca por significado de uma história sagrada da Antiguidade que inspirou e instruiu um povo hebreus-, e tornou-se tão relevante que foi registrada no seu principal livro sagrado. A partir de Mircea Eliade, Gilbert Durand, Joseph Campbell, Arnold Van Gennep, Gershom Sholém, entre outros, percorremos um caminho onde é feita uma leitura destas três histórias bíblicas. A metodologia utilizada é a de pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem qualitativa tendo como referência a Bíblia hebraica e livros especializados em mito e símbolo, atentos para uma análise amparada na escola antropológica da religião. Como resultados podemos destacar: Um cenário redundante um casal que se encontra em um poço -, aludindo a um microcosmos e que remete a imagem de centro, conforme Eliade o poço como umbigo do mundo, que atrai as duas forças complementares (masculino e feminino) que promovem a criação; Um enredo que evolui para um desfecho - apresenta um estrangeiro que depois de longa viagem pára e descansa em um poço. Uma mulher o encontra. Há um diálogo entre eles. Há oferecimento de água. A mulher volta a sua casa e relata o ocorrido. O estrangeiro permanece no poço. Parentes da mulher vão ao encontro do estrangeiro e o convida para entrar. O estrangeiro permanece algum tempo com eles. Ocorre um casamento; O mito do andrógeno primordial como justificativa para o casamento no judaísmo; A jornada em busca da noiva; A simbologia do encontro; A mitocrítica destas histórias bíblicas. De forma nenhuma desconsideramos as inúmeras outras formas de análise e interpretação promovida anteriormente por pesquisadores, teólogos ou biblicistas. Este é apenas mais um olhar sobre o objeto do encontro das esposas dos patriarcas bíblicos. Um olhar influenciado pelos teóricos da hermenêutica simbólica, dando a sua contribuição para o entendimento de algo que é maior do que qualquer mente possa já ter percebido, que é o fenômeno religioso e suas diversas formas de se apresentar ao homem.

Aiming to think about the theme by a different focus, the study looks for promoting a reflection about the executive's resistance to change, assigning a view to this individual as a complex subject and considering his subjectivity, unconsciousness and his psychic fragility as central elements for the study of the resistant behavior in the organizations. Based on bibliographic researches of exploratory feature, this study is established in a central idea that, basing in a subjective focus of the resistance phenomenon, is possible to consider the executives' resistant behavior as external reflexes of that is reproduced inside these subjects' psyche. The research that was done showed favorable arguments for this idea. Considering the way that the alienation of these subjects and the consequent occult meaning assigned to organization that they administer influence the way that they interpret the world, is possible to say that a big part of the assumed behavior as regards as the organizational change is resulted from internalized and repressed anxieties, ranging from annihilation fear to way of thinking that symbolizes their core identity. It is noteworthy that, in the search for concretization of this theoretical debate, were analyzed two big happenings of the history of two american organizations, AnheuserBusch and RJR Nabisco, translated in the works of Macintosh (2013) and of Burrough and Helyar (2009), respectively. The analysis and the interpretation of both cases enhance the discussion in favor to a practical content for the issues that were discussed in this study. Reached its aims, the research's results point to the fragility of the predominant approaches as regards as theme and promote openings paths for new researches that could be done via subjective analysis. / Este estudo visa discutir o tema da Resistência à Mudança como um fenômeno advindo do âmbito não racional. Objetivando refletir sobre o tema por meio de um enfoque diferenciado, busca-se promover uma reflexão acerca da Resistência do Executivo à Mudança, atribuindo um olhar a este indivíduo como um ser complexo e considerando a sua subjetividade, inconsciência e sua própria fragilidade psíquica como elementos centrais para o estudo do comportamento resistente nas organizações. Sustentando-se em pesquisa bibliográfica de natureza exploratória, o presente estudo se estabelece em uma ideia central de que, partindo de um enfoque subjetivista do fenômeno da resistência, é possível considerar o comportamento resistente dos executivos como reflexo externo daquilo que é reproduzido na psique destes indivíduos. A pesquisa realizada mostrou indícios favoráveis a esta ideia. Considerando a forma como a alienação destes indivíduos e o consequente significado oculto atribuído à organização que gerem influenciam o modo como eles interpretam o mundo, pode-se afirmar que grande parte do comportamento que assumem frente à mudança organizacional é resultante de angústias interiorizadas e reprimidas, que vão desde o medo da aniquilação até modos de pensar que simbolizam o seu núcleo identitário. Vale enfatizar que, na busca pela concretização deste debate teórico, foram analisados dois grandes acontecimentos da história de duas organizações americanas, a Anheuser-Busch e a RJR Nabisco, transcritos nas obras de Macintosh (2013) e de Burrough e Helyar (2009), respectivamente. A análise e a interpretação de ambos os casos aprimoram a discussão em favorecimento a um teor prático àquilo que é discutido neste estudo. Uma vez alcançado o que propôs, os resultados da pesquisa apontam para a fragilidade das abordagens predominantes acerca do tema e promovem a abertura de caminhos para novos estudos que poderão ser realizados a partir de vieses subjetivistas de análise.
