Ses!
The subject of this thesis regards how product design can be used to increase visibility indarkness. The target group is girls aged 18-25 when in an urban, trafficked contextduring the darker hours of the day.Through interviews, surveys, and a literature study it was discovered that thetarget group is well aware of the benefits of using reflectors, however this is not a strongenough motif for using them since products already on the market are considered silly, impractical, and ugly. The main focus has been to consider soft values such as status and aesthetics aswell as requirements regarding an optimized usage of reflectors. This has resulted in the design of a modest, yet stylish multifunctional bag, withthe aim to make the user visible. It is a reflective product that the target group canidentify themselves with and carry at all times.

Grovsopor i ett bostadsområde - En hållbar lösningKarlsson, Mimi January 2014 (has links)
The work is about understanding why residents in properties dumps bulky waste in inappropriate places. Through observation examined were tenants throw their bulky waste and the caretaker for this area east in Landskrona look at the big problem of bulky waste. What does the tenant themselves think, 10 people were interviewed.AB Landskronahem is a municipally housing company with approximately 4,000 apartments in Landskrona, Glumslöv and Asmundtorp. The company has problems with bulky waste dumped on area east and including the neighborhood Juno. The project focuses of the neighborhood Juno and its problems and possibilities of bulky waste. AB Landskronahem is seeking a sustainable long-term solution, to later apply on other residential neighborhoods. The processing of the pilot study resulted in the conceptualization around a solution to collect bulky waste and a graphic reminder to encourage the tenants to use the garbageroom. It resulted in a shelf system designed for sorting the bulky waste and that allows reuse. The illustrations are placed in the building to remind tenants about the garbageroom.

The purpose of this paper was to explore how children may perceive sound effects in the specially written radio saga made for this paper Ninjas Detektivbyrå (Ninja’s Detective firm). If sound effects in any way can contribute to children perceiving more details, if specific sound effects may bestow in creating a more monogamous distinction of signs and whether the dramaturgical structure possibly can become clearer when combining dialog with sound effects. The study was made possible with the help of two groups of children whom each listened to a version of the stimulus material, one with sound effects and the other one without sound effects, and by qualitative interviews relaying on theories regarding communication, classical dramaturgy and research on how sound effects impact on audience. This paper shows that the participants who were exposed to sound effects may have been more keen to perceiving details, understood signs more distinctly and could account for greater parts of the story in comparison to participants from the group that weren’t exposed to sound effects. / <p>Validerat; 20150630 (global_studentproject_submitter)</p>

In 2009 Statskontoret has stated that the numbers of construction failures has increased in the Swedish construction sector. One of the reasons to insufficient quality management in the construction sector is the project based organization. A project based organization has a temporary nature which may bring deficits in continuous improvement. Continuous improvement means that small improvements in the daily work within an organization achieve a higher quality level. The purpose of this study is to better understand how a company in the construction sector can improve its management of quality deviations, in order to support the work with continuous improvements. The study is based on a case study in order to more specifically investigate how management of quality deviations is carried out within STRABAG Sverige AB.Initially a literature study was carried out in order to increase a better understanding of how a quality deviation can be defined, and how management of quality deviations can be designed, in order to support continuous improvement in a company in the construction sector. Then a description of the current management of quality deviations within STRABAG was carried out. The description consists of information collected through documents and semi-structured interviews with persons in the organization. In the analysis a comparison was made between the produced frame of reference, and the description of current management of quality deviation in STRABAG. This was made with the intention to identify in what extent the current management of quality deviations was carried out in the organization. From this analysis several improvement areas could be identified with the purpose to strengthen STRABAGs management of quality deviations. The results from this study consist of seven recommendations that describe how STRABAG can improve their management of quality deviations, in order to strengthen continuous improvement. The recommendations refer to: • Define what a quality deviation is• Implement a systematic analysis on quality deviations• Improve a continuous follow-up for corrective actions• Implement a statistical follow-up on quality deviations• Clarify management’s commitment in the quality improvement• Create an acceptance for mistakes and highlight their importance• Improve the exchange of experience of what improvements that had been made on quality deviations in organizations projects / Validerat; 20130605 (global_studentproject_submitter)
