Memórias bordadas nos cotidianos e nos currículos / Embroidered memories: daily and in school curriculumClaudia Regina Ribeiro Pinheiro das Chagas 13 March 2007 (has links)
This paper provides a discussion on the standing of women in non-academic fields. I have researched - between the lines - the story of these women, trying to understand the changes that have taken place in school, more specifically in the school curriculum. I did so through studies on the issue of gender and daily practices, and observing the intersubjective relationship that they establish among themselves and with the world. I bring this written culture to my discussion net based on certain school material and on texts related to womens activities, seeking to understand how this culture appeared, disappeared and reappeared in educational time/fields, especially in school curriculum. In my paper I emphasize the written culture, more specifically the ordinary persons writings that are shown in embroideries, i.e., the embroidered writings, and relate them to the issues mentioned above, seeking to know how they find out their space in the school curriculum. In spite of all the difficulties in their lives, these women go on embroidering not because its an obligation or a job, but due to their necessity of speaking up, weaving their stories, embroidering their identities. They are women, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, married, single, widowers, but besides all that, they are embroiderers.

El bordado ayacuchano / Ayacuchano EmbroideryMoscoso Espino, María Jesús 07 July 2021 (has links)
The present research has as general objective to design a collection of wedding dresses from the theoretical and visual analysis of the characteristics of Ayacuchano embroidery. Ayacuchano embroidery is part of Peruvian craftsmanship, and more precisely, within Peruvian "textile" craftsmanship, which is considered as the most developed and common craft activity in our country that is passed down from generation to generation, where older women teach their daughters the art of embroidery. The origin of Ayacuchano embroidery dates back to the district of Luricocha in the province of Huanta, an area where to this day the tradition of embroidering and weaving multicolored blankets has been maintained.

bailarines y espectadores. / Los Negritos de Garibaldi is a dance performed in honor of the Virgin of Cocharcas in
the district of Sapallanga in Huancayo and is a way to remember the liberation of black
slaves in Peru, their distinctive costume of sailors, reminiscent of the Italian hero
Giuseppe Garibaldi who was known for his firm opposition to slavery. In the short cloaks
that the dancers carry, they allow the embroiderer artist to capture not only a historical
memory of past heroes, but at the same time they become a testimony of a historical fact
of the present.
We can see a constant in the embroidery, the image of the military man, of the fighter
who defends from the enemy, who fights for patriotic ideals, of the one who cares for and
protects. And the dancers use these embroideries to honor the Virgin of Cocharcas, the
protective mother, giver of life and who must provide the care and courage that the fighter
needs to face in battle.
The Fabian workshop, along three generations of embroidery artists, have managed to
capture these ideals, through an elaborate embroidery technique in high relief, combining
iconography with virreinal ancestors represented in flowers and animals, with visual
references of heroes like Simon Bolívar, Ramón Castilla or Andrés Avelino Cáceres or
historically closer personages like Velasco, Odría, or even, Fidel Castro, that has been
evolving with the passage of time and that until now continues undergoing changes due
to the incursion of new materials and competencies industrial, but maintaining a creative
aesthetic that is shown in the adaptation of the visual referents.
In order to find the technical and aesthetic solutions that the Fabian workshop carries out,
it is necessary to know what other workshops were done, for which a search was made of
private collections that have stored these short cloaks, even pieces were found in foreign
collections.
It is the creativity that is shown in the embroidery which makes it popular art,
differentiating itself from crafts, a term frequently used to differentiate from those objects
that are mass-produced and have a purpose of 'souvenirs'.
Popular embroidery shows that it is a living art and not a mere repetition of patterns, and
that it becomes a canvas in which technique is combined, a great study of visual referents
and past knowledge from generation to generation, in this way the artist shows his
devotion to the Virgin and at the same time seeks the appreciation and recognition of the
dancers and spectators. / Tesis

procedures of part extructure interview. It was done with six embroidereses from the
Handcraft Association. The research shows that the educative process of learning and
knowledges construction, in the work and by the work. Those processes develop in exchange
experiences net in a friendly economic environment and raise elements of a work culture
personal that work there. The embroidereses learn how to embroid doing the job and this
learning, a lot of times, is influenced by the life conditions, residence local and infantile work in
the country area and the living to the urban area, particularly to Caic?. The knowledge relation
between them is the matter fact in the embroider learning process that means a social relation
based on the knowledge differences between their position in its structure involving the work
division, that each handcraft maker knows every part of the embroider, type of work or
machine type, step by step until the work is done. It involves decision, execution and machine
movements repetition, the focus are the categories that fit in current flexible financial issue.
They schedule the work at home so they have time to do other stuff. Most part of the
production currently is done to obey de a certain request that aims as production target, being
a homework. Another important issue is the embroider work time: time and experience that is
within in the professional life and its knowledge representation of job/profession. This time is
got as a acquisition process of certain a work dominion and self knowing; time added to
changes that were being there practicing from the new characteristics in the furniture, clothes

correspondem ? atual configura??o do trabalho no capitalismo flex?vel: a encomenda e, o
trabalho domiciliar.
trabalho domiciliar. Outra categoria importante ? o tempo do bordado: tempo e experi?ncia
que est? no cerne do eu profissional e de sua representa??o do saber de of?cio/profiss?o;

Man tell stories ever since he is aware of his presence in the world, and through narrative he
understands himself as part of a greater whole. Above all things, narrating is an exposition and
exchange of experiences through drawings, gestures, orality and writing that are manifested in
colors, sounds, images, sensations and senses involving all together: narrated object, narrator
and its receiver. When a narrative migrates from its original language to a different one, occurs
a process of translation between signs, rich in interpretations and meanings. This is the case,
for example, when a literary narrative is taken to embroidery, where lines that fill the space of
the fabric gain meaning as important as the letters and words that make up for a tale. Taking as
foundation the intersemiotic translation of the tale A MoÃa Tecelà by Marina Colasanti,
embroidered by Matizes Dumont group to ilustrations in the 2004 publication of Editora Global,
this dissertation is divided in two parts. In O Direito, it brings to reflection what is seen in the
embroidery of Matizes Group, its materiality and the meanings of the images, as a haptic body
for the words written by Colasanti and as a visual narrative permeated by mythical references.
In O Avesso, itâs drawn an overview of the relations that ground the object, intrinsic to the
evolution and the transformations of the embroidery as a feminine practice, as culture and as a
result of the creative gesture of the hands.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This research, titled The persuasive language of the embroiderers of Tobias Barreto in the teaching of the argumentation, presents a proposal for the study of argumentative techniques with students of Elementary School. The objectives of this study are to lead the students to recognize the argumentative ability of the speakers of the irmothertongue, regardless of the social prestige and to use it effectively, through activities focused on persuasive language. The concepts discussed in the text are based on studies of Argumentation and Rhetoric from the perspective of scholars such as Aristoteles(n/d; edition 2013), Perelman & Tyteca (1958; edition 2005), Fiorin (2015), Plantin (2008) and Ferreira (2010). The activities were developed for students of 6th grade of a public school located in Tobias Barreto / SE. The corpora of the research are the embroiderers’ speeches, collected with the use ofinterviews conducted in an association located in the rural area of the same municipality. The texts were recorded and analyzed in the classroom to observe the argumentative techniques most used by the artisans to defend a point of view. After careful analysis of more than 39minutes of recording, it was possible to verify that these professionals mainly use the arguments of causality, comparison and sacrifice to persuade the interlocutor. After observation of age, schooling and reports, it was also possible to perceive that they do not feel valued by society, so they intend to teach the craft to their descendants as a way of maintaining the culture of their ancestors, but they do not want their daughters to have embroidery as a profession. In the last stage of the work, students participated in a debate about the professions they intend to follow in the future, having the opportunity to practice the argumentative strategies studied during the development of the project.
