Detta arbete är en kunskapsöversikt där fokus ligger på att redovisa hur homosexualitet har inkluderats och speglats inom det svenska samhället och inom den svenska skolan. Det som också påvisas är hur den kristna tron har påverkat undervisningen i skolorna samt hur religionsundervisningen förhåller sig till ämnet idag. Under arbetet har vi fokuserat på frågor såsom: Hur berörs homosexuella i samhälle och i skola? Hur kan undervisning påverka elevernas medvetenhet? Hur påverkar den kristna protestantismen synen på homosexualitet hos människan och i samhället? Med hjälp av datasökningar på Swepub har vi hittat avhandlingar och annan forskning som hjälpt oss att nå fram till det resultat vi eftersökt. Med denna forskning har vi kunnat komma fram till att kyrkans roll i samhället har varit en stor del i hur synen på homosexualitet har varit. Detta har i sin tur även påverkat den svenska skolan och religionsundervisningen. Forskningen har kunnat ge oss en inblick i hur det är för både barn och vuxna att leva som homosexuell i det svenska samhället samt hur det har utvecklats med tiden. Rättigheten att leva fritt har inte alltid varit en självklarhet som homosexuell och med hjälp av litteraturen och de källor vi hittat har vi kunnat följa förändringen till ett mer rättvist samhälle. Förr hade kyrkan och kristendomens trosuppfattning en stor inverkan i människans tankesätt vilket resulterade i att samma tankesätt framkom i den svenska undervisningen. Forskningen har hjälp oss att förstå innebörden av ett samhälle och en skola som inkluderar varje individ och uppmärksammar deras rättigheter oavsett sexuell läggning. Detta utan att mötas av hot eller missgynnande av omgivning. Den forskning vi tagit del av visar hur värdegrundsarbetet i skolan är ett givande koncept för att motverka utanförskap och diskriminering i samhället.

In this essay I have tried to understand the relationship between the morning service and the ecclesiastical acts (dop, konfirmation, vigsel och begravning). Two scientists, professor Ninna Edgardh and bishop emeritus Sven Thidevall, has identified a gap between the morning service and ecclesistical acts. Edgardh is saying that they are isolated from each other and Thidevall is missing a common purpose. According to above I have tried to understand what two other scientists, bishop Fredrik Modéus and bishop Martin Modéus, says about services and worship communities. Is it possible to identify the gap Edgardh is talking about and the lack of a common purpose Thidevall are discussing. Further I have taken part of reports on national and regional (stift) level, reports based on local (församling) level. The reports are based on investigations about the baptism, one of two sacraments in the Church of Sweden. The investigations are done during the very last decade before and the two first decades after the millenium shift, when the change of relation between the Church of Sweden and the State of Sweden took place. The last report Dop i förändring is published in September 2019. Is it possible to identify what drives high rates of baptism. Finally I have done my own research in an webbased survey. I have asked vicars question what they are thinking about the relation between the morning service and the ecclesiastical acts. The analysis of the results shows that there is a post-colonial attitude concerning the morning service and the ecclesiastical acts. There are attitudes like superior and subordinated worship communities, attitudes challenges The Church of Sweden as a national church, open to everyone living in Sweden regardless of nationality.

Sammanfattning Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka hur kyrkomusiker upplevelser sin psykosociala arbetsmiljö i en kontext där organisationen är uppdelad mellan en teologisk och en demokratisk styrningsmodell. Genom frågeställningar rörande arbetsuppgifterna, styrningen, drivkrafterna bakom yrkesvalet och den sociala gemenskapen ämnar studien ge en djupare förståelse och kunskap för yrkets arbetsmiljö inom organisationen. Det empiriska underlaget för studien består av sju semistrukturerade intervjuer med kyrkomusiker anställda vid olika församlingar i olika stift. Under studien har jag tillämpat en kvalitativ metod med en abduktiv ansats. Detta innebär att jag under arbetet med studien - med påverkan från tidigare forskningsområden - har utvecklat teorier allteftersom empirin har tillkommit under intervjuerna. Det teoretiska ramverket för studien utgörs av arbetskravresursteorin och begreppet kall som teoretiskt begrepp. Studien visar att kyrkomusikerna upplever den psykosociala arbetsmiljön högst individuellt och att upplevelserna påverkas av en rad faktorer såsom arbetsuppgifternas utformning, ledarskapet och församlingens organisering inom pastoratet. Kyrkomusikerna har en möjlighet att påverka sina arbetsuppgifter och till viss mån utforma tjänsten efter eget önskemål vilket skapar en frihet i arbetet. Engagemanget och motivationen upplevs som hög inom yrket vilket förhöjer trivseln och välmåendet. Samtidigt kan engagemanget i kombination med friheten att påverka sin tjänst leda till hög arbetsbelastning om inte den individuella medarbetaren eller ledningen förmår att sätta gränser. I likhet med diakoner och präster upplever kyrkomusikerna sina arbeten som meningsfulla. Individuella drivkrafter i yrket utgörs av såväl religiöst som konstnärligt kall. Den individuella församlingens organisationsmodell kan påverka arbetsmiljön såväl negativt som positivt och förändringar i organisationsstrukturen rörande församling och pastorat kan leda till såväl positiva som negativa utfall. Trots att Svenska kyrkan är en nationell organisation upplevs arbetsmiljön varierande mellan individuella kyrkomusiker på grund av varje lokal församlings särställning. By exploring issues concerning working tasks, governance, driving forces behind the choice of profession and the social community, this study intends to provide a deeper understanding and knowledge of the profession's work environment within the organization. The empirical basis for the study consists of seven semi-structured interviews with church musicians employed at different communities in different dioceses. While conducting the study, I have applied a qualitative method with an abductive approach. This means that I have taken previous research into consideration and developed my theoretical framework with the empirical findings from my interviews. The theoretical framework for the study consists of the job demands-resources theory and the theoretical concept of calling. The study shows that church musicians experiences of the psychosocial work environment are highly individual and that their experiences are influenced by several factors such as the design of the working tasks, the leadership and the organization of the community within the parish. Church musicians have an opportunity to influence their work tasks and to a certain extent design their positions according to their own wishes, which creates a freedom in their work. Commitment and motivation are perceived as high in the profession, which increases well-being. At the same time, commitment in combination with the freedom to influence one's job can lead to a high workload if the individual employee or the leadership is not able to set limits. Like deacons and priests, church musicians perceive their work as meaningful. Individual driving forces in the profession consist of both religious and artistic calling. Organizational model of the individual community can affect the work environment both negatively and positively, where changes in the organizational structure concerning the community and parish can lead to both positive and negative outcomes. Even though the Church of Sweden is a national organization, individual church musicians have varying experiences of the work environment due to the special position of each local community. The aim of this essay was to study how the religious congregation in the Swedish town Västervik, as a part of the Swedish state church, was publishing posts on their Facebook. By using the method qualitative text analysis and sorting all published posts on Svenska kyrkan i Västerviks Facebook page in 2020 into categories, it became possible to get a general picture of the material.The goal was also to understand the material that was posted on their Facebook page through socio-religious theories that argues that the Swedish state church has become a resource and a producer of services in the Swedish society. The ambition was also to see if the material published on Facebook could connect to what earlier studies had identified about churches and organizations on social media, and to what rapports say about the reducing members and the relationship between the youth and the church.The study of the essay shows that the congregation in Västervik is publishing material which indicates that they, as a part of the Swedish state church, is a resource and a producer of services. Not least because they have a lot of posts with non-theological content.The study also shows that the congregation uses their Facebook to create dialogue with their followers and members, and that they especially have a lot of posts with videos of their worship service online. This makes them available to members, and they do not seem to make a separation between the physical church and the church online. Furthermore, the study does not show that the congregation tries to attract nor keep members, but some posts are directly reaching out to youths, also from channels outside Facebook. This makes it possible to think that they want to improve their relationship between the church and the youths. Something that in the long run could benefit the amount of members in the congregation.

En uppsats av två kantorstudenter 2012 samt egna upplevelser tas till utgångspunkt för attstudera förnyelse i Svenska kyrkans musikutbud på 2000-talet. Ett tiotal kyrkliga företrädare,huvudsakligen kyrkomusiker har våren 2022 djupintervjuats för besvarande av frågor omförnyelse av kyrkomusik, mest på 2000-talet när Svenska kyrkan skilts från staten.Frågeställning 1 är hur förnyelsen tas emot. Förnyelsen med ökat inslag av icke sakral musikoch populärmusik uppskattas av kyrkomusiker och andra kyrkliga aktörer.Frågeställning 2 är vad som driver kyrkomusiker att göra merarbetet som krävs.Kyrkomusiker gör gärna det merarbete som krävs om de kan leverera en värdig upplevelse. Detror att diversifieringen av kyrkomusik kommer fortsätta.Slutsatserna bygger huvudsakligen på intervjumaterialet där deras individuella svar redovisasanonymiserat, ett mångfasetterat material. Efter redovisningens olika avsnitt följer en analys avhur forskningsfrågorna besvaras och sedan en diskussion om den kyrkomusikaliska förnyelsensutbredning i tid och rum samt geografiskt. Vidare ett resonemang om möjligheter med ochgränser för förnyelsen av kyrkomusiken.Förnyelsen drivs av publikens ökade musikkunskap och önskemål till kyrkomusikern.Kyrkomusikerns respons är att göra sitt bästa för att ge en fin musikupplevelse och om möjligtöka antalet betalande medlemmar.

Uppsatsen går igenom ritualer i det digitala. I ett försök att finna teologiska belägg för huruvida det är genomförbart att uppnå måltidsgemenskap på en digital plattform, i Svenska kyrkans ordning. Uppsatsen berör olika typer av digitala rum/plattformar och utforskar gemenskap inom det digitala och om något går förlorat där. Metoden som används är semistrukturerade intervjuer, som sedan jämförs med vad tidigare forskning säger inom områdena; ritualer och digital religion. Resultat som författaren finner efter genomförda intervjuer visar på vikten att klargöra vilken typ av digitalt rum som används då det är avgörande för att uppnå en gemenskap. Även att handlingen utförs i realtid. Dessutom visar empirin på att nattvardsliturgin är i ständig förändring. Svaret på hur nattvarden skulle kunna utföras för att stämma överens med Svenska kyrkans ordning, är något som behöver ligga på fördjupande framtida forskning för att ha fullt teologiskt stöd.

Det övergripande syftet med denna C-uppsats är att få en generell förståelse för hur religion kan influera på folkhälsofrågor. Vi spenderade två och en halv månad i Honduras med syftet att få en förståelse för hur religion kan påverka folkhälsofrågor och folkhälsoarbete. I det specifika fallet Honduras är syftet att diskutera hur katolska kyrkan influerar på den reproduktiva hälsan i Honduras. Studien är kvalitativ till sin karaktär och resultatet baseras på information från personliga intervjuer. För att ta reda på hur katolska kyrkan influerar den reproduktiva hälsan i landet intervjuade vi personal som arbetar på de största aktörerna involverade i arbetet med reproduktiv hälsa. Vi intervjuade även två katolska organisationer. Det finns en konflikt mellan katolska kyrkan och de icke-katolska organisationerna som arbetar med reproduktiv hälsa. En majoritet av de icke-katolska organisationerna ser katolska kyrkan, i synnerhet de två katolska organisationerna Pro Vida och Opus Dei, som ett hinder i arbetet med att förbättra den reproduktiva hälsan hos befolkningen. Sett från ett maktperspektiv blir slutsatsen att det existerar en synlig konflikt mellan katolska kyrkans intressen och den honduranska befolkningens intressen och att katolska kyrkan utövar makt över den honduranska befolkningen i den bemärkelsen att de inkräktar på deras reproduktiva rättigheter. Hur katolska kyrkan influerar på den reproduktiva hälsan behöver dock mer omfattande undersökas. / The overall objective of this essay is to provide a general understanding of how religion can influence on public health issues. We spent two and a half month in Honduras with the goal to achieve an understanding of the influence of religion on public health issues and public health work. In the particular case of Honduras the purpose is to discuss how the Catholic Church influences reproductive health in Honduras. It is a qualitative study and the result is based on information gathered in one-on-one interviews. As a way to find out how the Catholic Church influences reproductive health in the country we interviewed the staff of the main actors involved in the work with reproductive health, as well as two Catholic organizations. There is a conflict between the Catholic Church and the Non-Catholic organizations working with reproductive health. Almost all of the Non-Catholic organizations view the Catholic Church, with focus on the two Catholic organizations, Pro Vida and Opus Dei, as an obstacle in the work with improving the reproductive health in the population. From a power theory perspective we reach the conclusion that there is a visible conflict between the interests of the Catholic Church and the interests of the Honduran population and that the Catholic Church exercises power over the population by intruding on their reproductive rights. However, how the Catholic Church influences reproductive health matters needs to be further investigated.

The Church of Sweden often states that children have a special position in the church, and this statement is the basis of this essay. This essay evaluates the special position that children is said to have in the church and what role children’s religious and cognitive understanding have in this special position. The purpose of this essay is to analyze the Church of Sweden’s knowledge of children's cognition and how they apply this knowledge in their work with children. To analyze this special position I use material created by the Church of Sweden, such as propositions for the church meeting, episcopal letter, statements and other publications made by the Church of Sweden. This essay looks at how the church is run on a national level, and on the level of the diocesans and the parishes. The data collected on how the Church of Sweden runs its operation regarding their education of children are then analyzed based on theories from the Psychology of Religion. These theories are from Jean Piaget, Ronald Goldman, David Elkind, James W. Fowler and Justin L. Barrett. This essay also examines the ages of children that the different parishes in Umeå uses to select when children should receive their first children’s bible, and how different theories on cognitive development relate to these ages. There is an awareness, within the Church of Sweden, of how theories and methods from the psychology of religion can help with the teaching of Christian faith. To date, there has been a lot of talk and wishes from the Church of Sweden to make the change needed to provide better education to children in regards to their cognitive understanding, but the implementation of this change has so far been moving slowly.
