Viana, Vanêssa Andréa 15 August 2013 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-03-15T19:26:04Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Vanessa Andrea Viana.pdf: 1072100 bytes, checksum: 6f8d3fc02d07898e6a125c5b06c47b24 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-08-15 / The aim of this study was to understand the individual and social learning process happening between subjects participating in a social programme called Doutores Cidadãos, organized by the non profit organization Canto Cidadão. Moreover, it was meant to identify, analyse and describe what and how those subjects learn and how they apply those learning experiences in their personal and work life, based on the following question: What and how the volunteers learn individually and collectively when applying their volunteering activities? Therefore, it was designed three specific objectives: the first one was to identify, describe and analyse the individual learning processes this group of volunteers apply so as to develop their volunteer activities. The second one was to describe and analyse the social interactions role inside the environment where the volunteer activities happen, as well as their impact in the development of the learning process. The third and last one was to identify, describe and analyse what those volunteers apply regarding the volunteering experience learning in their formal and informal activities at work. It was carried out a basic or general qualitative study in the interpretational paradigm. The data were collected from the testimonial of 15 volunteer subjects participants in the project through semi structured interview, and analysed based on the template analysis proposed by Nigel King. We were based on the fact that the learning process must be looked at according to a social focus, and not as mere individual phenomena. On the other hand, it happens from human actions and interactions. The results analysis goes back to the social learning theory of Bente Elkjaer and the transformative learning theory of Jack Mezirow, and the focus was on the individual and collective learning. The results show that the volunteering experience was responsible for the transformative learning experiences the subjects have faced, through changes in the personal reference charts. It was also stated informal and social learning processes, indicating a relationship between being a volunteer and acquiring new learning experiences.

O trabalho voluntário de tradução e suas implicações socioculturais / The volunteer work of translation and its sociocultural implications

Narjara Ferreira Mitsuoka 13 April 2012 (has links)
This article aims to analyze translation as volunteering work as long as to what extent it influences socio-cultural relations and society. Thus, the object of our study is a group of volunteers who work as translators for the Non-Governmental Organization Soka Gakkai International. As we intend to study the agents who participate in this process, considering them to be part of a social structure, the empirical data are discussed against the background of the Actor-Network-Theory by Bruno Latour (2005). We also intend to analyze the role and development of the volunteering translators involved in the process, their background and socio-cultural relations, which will be framed in terms of Pierre Bourdieus concept of habitus (1972; 1990; 2003). Based on preliminary studies, we may argue that the actors who take part in this translation volunteering work share similar principles and dispositions, that is, they have the same habitus and their starting point is not the theory, but they negotiate the rules of translation according to their practice. Finally, we intend to confirm the hypothesis that, for this group, the value of their job is beyond the financial reward, and bring new characteristics to translation.

Politiques publiques de gestion des âges et transition vers la retraite : la place des compétences / Public policies of age management and transition to retirement : the place of skills

Ndoye, Soukeynatou 29 November 2017 (has links)
This research raises the question of longer working lives in an aging French society. It seeks to observe the consequences of political choices on the representations of age and on the organization of social temporalities. From a theoretical point of view, this research combines two dimensions: the life course perspective and the cognitive analysis of public policies. Results show a gradual disintegration of boundaries between work and retirement, accentuated by the attenuation of the demarcation lines between merchant and non-market work. In particular, this phenomenon can be seen as on of the effects of a process of (re) mobilization of skills during the transition from employment to retirement. From a methodological point of view, two surveys were conducted. The first was conducted with companies that were subject to collective negociation under the public framework of the "Contrat de génération". It was interested in how this law has led these companies to question and adjust their age management practices, particularly with regard to measures relating to the transfer of skills and intergenerational cooperation. The second survey focused on the specific case study of a national association of retirees and pre-retirees who practice "skills-based volunteering". It questioned individual and collective motivations underlying this practice and the issues it raise about their place in society.

Music For Sale? : Umeå Open & Umeå International Jazz Festival - A Study in Event Marketing

Törnmarck, Oskar, Wikström, Johannes January 2009 (has links)

Umeå is a city that is known for its music scene. Credible bands and artists have consequently sprung out and put the city on the map for as long the authors of this paper can remember. The city has a specific image and this study seeks to shine a light on how this came to be. Has there been a conscious marketing strategy in order to gain the reputation that Umeå has, or is the city’s music scene so prominent that it speaks for itself? Data for the study were collected through conducting qualitative interviews with the producers of the two music festivals Umeå Open and Umeå International Jazz Festival. The results show that cultural visions and marketing are constantly interacting, but to the authors’ knowledge, no conscious decisions have previously been taken to market Umeå as a city of music. Still, with current acts like Deportees, David Sandström and Frida Hyvönen just to mention a few, the image of Umeå is more justified than ever.

Noro tęsti savanorišką veiklą sąsajos su įsitraukimu ir pasitenkinimu darbu bei jų pokyčiai į sprendimus sutelktos refleksijos metu / Relationships between the intention to continue voluntary work, involvement and work satisfaction and changes of them during the Solution focused reflection

Semokaitė, Asta 19 June 2009 (has links)
Kenner – Liebhaber – Dilettanten

Tröml, Sibille 15 September 2011 (has links) (PDF)
(Prof. Dr. Eckart Pankoke)
