鄉鎮圖書館運用社區資源之研究:以苗栗縣三灣鄉立圖書館為例 / A Study of the Community Resources Utilization by the Rural Libraries on the Basic of the Sanwang Library at Miaoli County

公共圖書館中以鄉鎮圖書館和社區關係最為密切,並在社區中扮演重要的角色,對於社區整體發展,亦有舉足輕重的地位。然鄉鎮圖書館囿於有限的人力、經費與物力下,須與社區資源相結合,才能拓展圖書館本身之服務。本論文旨在了解國內外鄉鎮圖書館社區資源運用之具體成效,就苗栗縣三灣鄉圖書館為個案,深入探討其館務營運及社區資源運用情況及困境。 本研究採文獻分析法與深度訪法,參考國內外圖書館運用社區資源相關文獻,設計訪談大綱,並另蒐集93年度全省各縣市評鑑優良之十所鄉鎮圖書館與國外三所圖書館,對於其社區資源運用情況詳加分析。訪談對象為苗栗縣文化局圖書資訊課的課長、三灣鄉鄉長、鄉民代表主席、以瞭解地方行政首長對於社區圖書館發展之概念與參與熱誠,並訪談三灣鄉立圖書館館長,探析圖書館執掌者對於社區資源運用之概念、三灣鄉圖書館社區資源運用現況以及對於社區資源運用面臨之困境與展望,藉以建立鄉鎮圖書館社區資源運用之模式。 歸納研究結果重點如下:(一)鄉鎮圖書館對社區資源認識不足;(二)地方首長重視與否影響圖書館發展;(三)社區意識不足導致社區資源運用困難;(四)社區中缺乏資訊交流整合中心;(五)鄉鎮圖書館並未有系統的建立與保存社區資源。對研究結果提出建議如下:(一)延伸社區資源運用範圍;(二)多元化思考開創社區資源運用之可能性;(三)加強與地方首長的溝通;(四)鄉鎮圖書館彼此間建立社區資源網;(五)充實鄉鎮圖書館網站內容;(六)架構社區資源運用資料庫。 / Among the public libraries the rural libraries have the relationship between with the communities, and play an important role in the integrate development of the communities. But since the rural libraries have limited manpower, budgets and the material resources, they can only develop their libraries with the conglomeration the community resources. This thesis aims at understanding first the concrete effects of utilization and the takes the resources of communities by the rural libraries at home and abroad Sanwang Library at Miaoli County as a case study to probe into the present situation and at predicament it its library operations and community resources utilization. This research adopts the methods of literatures analyzing and in-depth interviews by consulting the relevant documents of the communities resources utilization by libraries at home and abroad. The interview outlines and designed .And details of the community resources utilization by the ten good-service rural libraries evaluated in 2004 and three foreign rural and collected for the in-depth analysis. This research as to the interviews, the interviewer include the chief of the information section of Miaoli County Library, and the head and chief preventative of Sanwang Town. The purposes are to find out local administrative leader’s concepts the community libraries development and their enthusiasm in the participation for such developments. There has been am in-depth interview to the director of Miaoli County Library for the about mentioned aim and analysis so as to find out a model for the communities resources utilization. The highlights of the research are as follows: 1.The rural libraries are in short of the knowledge about the community resource; 2.The concerns by the local government heads and councilors have great influence our the library development; 3.The local of communities consciousness leads to the difficult in the communities resources utilization ; 4.The community information interchange integration is not available; 5.There is no systematic establishment and preservation communities resources in the rural libraries. Therefore six suggestions are made as follows: 1.To extend the scope of the utilization of the community resources; 2.To consider though multiple approaches any possible ways of the communities resources utilization; 3.To strengthen the communication with the local government heads; 4.To establish the mutual community resource networks among rural libraries; 5.To enrich contents of the rural libraries websites; 6.To set the community resources utilization databases.

本地生與境外生使用大學圖書館與滿意度之研究-以龍華科技大學圖書館為例 / A study on university library use and satisfaction between taiwanese and overseas students -a case study of lunghwa university of science and technology library

大專院校為因應少子化現象,因此積極招收境外學生,政府也逐步開放相關政策,使來台就學之境外學生人數逐年上升,讓校內境外生比率逐年成長。圖書館有服務讀者之使命,需理解不同讀者的需求及圖書館使用行為,讓圖書館在國際化的浪潮下,可以提供更好的資源與服務。 本研究之研究目的有五點:(一)探討本地與境外大學生之資訊需求。(二)探討本地與境外大學生之圖書館使用情形。(三)探討本地與境外大學生之學校圖書館滿意度看法。(四)探討大學生使用圖書館與滿意度的影響因素,以國藉、性別、年級、院別進行探討。(五)探討與比較境外生與本地生資訊需求、圖書館使用、滿意度的差異。 為獲得研究結果,本研究透過文獻分析具體建構出「圖書館使用」三構面19項指標及「使用滿意度」三構面24指標之調查問卷,做為調查大學生圖書館使用及使用滿意度的評鑑工具。本問卷對龍華科技大學日間部大學生實際發放問卷調查,獲得以下結論:(一)本地和境外生的資訊需求以課業及休閒為主。(二)本地生最多人使用圖書館空間,境外生則最多人使用圖書館館藏。(三)本地生最滿意圖書館服務,境外生最滿意圖書館空間。(四)國籍是影響圖書館使用及使用滿意度的重要因素。(五)境外大學生仍未全面使用過圖書館。(六)本地生對圖書館期望落差大於境外生。 針對所獲得的研究結果,本研究也提出幾點建議:(一)加強宣傳圖書館,提高大學生使用圖書館的頻率。(二)因應資訊化時代,電子出版興起,圖書館需提高學生電子資源使用率。(三)增加圖書館各項館藏資源新穎性與多元性,吸引讀者使用。(四)重視圖書館空間的各項指標,滿足本地及境外大學生的需求。(五)深入了解不同身分讀者之需求,提供差異化的資源與服務。(六)提升圖書館整體滿意度,增加大學生使用圖書館的意願與頻率。 / To cope with the phenomenon of low birthrate, universities actively recruit overseas students. The government also implements some relevant policies to increase the number of overseas student in Taiwan every year. With the mission of providing best resources and services to the users, the library should fulfill the needs of different users with different using behaviors under the tide of globalization. Purpose of this study has five points: The first is to investigate the information needs of local and overseas college students. The second is to investigate the library use of local and overseas college students.The third is to investigate the library use satisfaction of local and overseas college students. The fourth is to explore the influencing factors of library usage and satisfaction of college students based on nationality, gender, grade and institution. The fifth is to explore and compare the information needs, library usage, and satisfaction between overseas students and local students. To get the research results, a survey questionnarire has formed based on the methodology of literary analysis to evaluate local and overseas college students concerning library use, satisfation and importance. This questionnaire contains "library use" three facets of 19 indicators and "satisfaction" three facets of 24 indicators as an evaluation tool for the investigation of college students ' library use and satisfaction evaluation tool. The surveys are sent to Longhua University of Science and Technology students. Results are as shown below. A. Local and overseas information needs to focus on school work and leisure. B. The largest portion of local students use the library space, and the largest portion of overseas students use the library collection. C. Most of local students most satisfied with the library services, overseas students most satisfied with the library space. D. Nationality is an important factor influencing library use and satisfaction. E. Overseas students have not fully used the library collections, space and services. F. Local students are more dissatisfied library than the overseas students. According to the research results, this study also several suggestions: A. Intensify publicity on library collections and services, and increase the frequency of using the library. B. In response to the information age, the rise of electronic publishing, the library needs to improve students' electronic resource usage. C. Enhance the library collection novelty and diversity to attract readers to use. D. Focusing on indicators falling within the library space, meet the needs of both local and overseas college students. E. Understand the needs of different students and provide differentiated collections and services. F. To enhance the overall satisfaction of the library and increase the willingness and the frequency of library using rate.

臺灣地區公共圖書館自動化系統跨系統整合模式研究 / A Study of the Automation Intersystem Integrated Models for Public Libraries in Taiwan Area

臺灣地區公共圖書館自動化系統連結的模式,以縣市文化局(文化中心)與鄉鎮圖書館連結,共用一套系統運作為最主要的模式。此種模式自1996年開始推動建置以來,已經提供給縣市民眾一證通用、聯合書目館藏資料庫查詢等服務,部分縣市也開始進行館際互借、互還的準備作業,進一步利用共用系統所提供的功能。完成各縣市公共圖書館自動化系統的階段後,如何整合各縣市公共圖書館的自動化系統,提供跨系統資訊交換,促進不同縣市公共圖書館的館際合作事宜,以及擴大讀者跨縣市使用公共圖書館的館藏資源,是本研究進行的動機。 本研究的目的,在調查瞭解臺灣地區公共圖書館運用圖書館系統進行的狀況及館際間交流問題,蒐集歸納圖書館自動化系統對跨館際作業方面的功能、架構及相關標準之運用,分析不同跨系統整合模式的優、缺點及可行性,以建置臺灣地區公共圖書館自動化系統整合模式的作業方式,提供給公共圖書館、主管政府機關決策及廠商開發系統相關功能的參考。並引用其他資訊領域相關技術及概念,勾勒圖書館自動化系統未來的發展方向及建議。 本研究採用文獻分析、問卷調查及資訊系統分析等研究方法。問卷調查以公共圖書館之系統管理人員或主管為主,包括國立圖書館及各縣市級公共圖書館,為使調查數據精確與客觀,輔以調查系統廠商與大型大學圖書館之系統館員。 本研究之結論,建議公共圖書館自動化系統跨系統整合架構:(一)、以共用一套系統,(二)、設置「中心系統」供同質系統連結,以及(三)、設置「中心系統」供異質系統連結等架構方式為主。整合的區域範圍以生活圈為較適合的範圍,未來可擴大至整個臺灣地區。整合系統的功能面,除了促使廠商遵循相關標準發展系統外,建議參考不同領域之資訊應用層用,以讀者需求為導向,並可以考量資訊委外及圖書館自動化系統採用「應用系統供應服務」(Application Service Provider,簡稱ASP)模式,以減少公共圖書館資訊管理專業人力缺乏的問題。 / The main connective model of the public libraries automation system in Taiwan area is an integrated model connected between the municipal and county cultural bureaus (cultural centers) and rural libraries with one mutually automated system. Since its setup in 1996, the model has provided library patrons of all cities and counties with services of the union bibliographic database and one library card to be used at all libraries. Some counties and cities have also prepared to advance the interlibrary loan service and utilize the functions of the common library automation system. The motive of the study is to find out the integration of the public library automation in every county and city, to the provision of the intersystem information exchange, the promotion of the public library cooperation, and the expansion of the cross utilization of collections resources of public libraries all over Taiwan when the public library automation system has been completed in every county and city. The purposes of the study are: to investigate and find out the state of art of the operation of library automation systems of public libraries in Taiwan area and the interlibrary exchange problems, to collect and generalize functions, structures and related standards of interlibrary processes of the library automation system, and to analyze advantages and shortcomings and feasible methods of each intersystem integrated model, so as to work out a union model of public libraries integrated automation system in Taiwan area for reference by public libraries, government institutions and factories in their decision making and system development. Forthermore, the study tries to make an outline of the future development trends of the library automation system and offer some proposals on the basis of other information related technology and conceptions. The document analysis, questionnaires, information system analysis and other approaches are used for the research. The questionnaires are collected mainly from the library system management staffs or chiefs including national libraries and municipal and county public libraries. In addition, similar questions are also asked to system librarians, information system factories and college system librarians in order to make the data more accurate and objective. The conclusions of this study suggest three intersystem integrated structures of the public library automation system: “one” system, one “central system” set up for connecting with other uniform systems, and one system to connecting non-uniform systems (with at least one of the connected libraries available with a “central system”). The applicable area range of the integration is preferably life circle area, and may be expanded to the whole Taiwan area in the future. As to functions of the integration system, in addition to promoting factories, developing the system on the basis of the relative standards, suggestions are made for applications of information technology in other domains and in compliance with patron-oriented needs. Public libraries can also consider information outsourcing and adopt ASP (Application Service Provider) mode for the library automation system, so as to help out the lack of information management professional staffs.

從數位落差探討臺灣地區公共圖書館網際網路服務

中文摘要 網際網路服務是未來提供資訊傳播與利用的一項重要管道,也是縮短城鄉差距最佳的方式,公共圖書館在提供網際網路服務之前,必須先縮減公共圖書館本身數位落差的問題,如此才能真正提供普及化資訊服務。近年來,我國公共圖書館在圖書館自動化與網路建設發展已有明顯成長,為了促使公共圖書館在消弭數位落差發揮功能,第一要務即必須先縮減公共圖書館數位落差現象。本研究目的在瞭解國內公共圖書館資訊基礎建設與網際網路服務現況,比較不同層級與地區公共圖書館數位落差現象。 本研究採用文獻分析法與問卷調查法,參考國內外數位落差評量方式,設計問卷調查表進行問卷調查與分析,最後並根據研究結果提出「台灣地區公共圖書館網路服務數位落差評量模式芻議」。 本研究發現,臺灣地區公共圖書館網路資訊基礎建設程度已達相當之 水準,然而網際網路服務程度卻不高,網路服務的差異則以不同層級公共圖書館差異較大,不同地區公共圖書館較無明顯差異。 根據研究結果,本研究提出臺灣地區公共圖書館網路服務數位落差評量模式,本模式區分為兩大面向:1.基本具備能力,包括資訊基礎建設、資訊內容、人力資源、館員資訊素養;2.網際網路應用服務能力,包括網際網路服務政策、資訊服務、使用者利用教育、讀者使用率。 根據調查結果,本研究提出十點建議:1.積極爭取公共圖書館電腦資訊相關預算;2.改善專業人員之聘任或增設資訊專屬部門單位;3.持續增購數位電子資源;4.加強讀者網路利用教育;5.加強基層館員對數位電子資源的認識與利用;6. 加速制訂資訊服務政策;7. 廣設公共圖書館為資訊服務據點;8.定期進行公共圖書館網路服務調查;9. 訂定公共圖書館網路服務評量模式;10. 建議各地方政府積極配合政府公共措施預算。

本研究主要探討大學圖書館在進行知識管理時的管理程序,並針對系統及管理流程兩方面給予建議。本研究採用訪談法,以國立政治大學的圖書館館員及電子計算機中心人員為對象,對研究問題進行探討。 研究結果分為知識管理流程與知識管理系統開發兩方面:在知識管理流程方面,其內容應包含知識取得、知識創造、知識整合與儲存、知識轉移與擴散,及知識分享五個階段,並要與目前作流程相互結合。而知識管理系統開發方面,則有以下三點結論:(1)大學圖書館在進行系統開發時應該遵守相關國際標準,以利於未來進行知識分享與交換;(2)系統功能應具備靈活與彈性,以利於未來發展及永續經營;(3)應定期為知識管理系統做後續維修與資料備份工作。 / This study discusses the management procedure when the knowledge management is proceeding in university libraries. And we also provide some advices aimed at its system and relative procedure. In order to investigate this research, the Interview Method is introduced, and we took the librarians and staffs of Computer Center in NCCU as objects of this method. Conclusions of this research can be described in the procedure of knowledge management and in the development of knowledge management system:As to the procedure of knowledge management , it should have five steps including Knowledge Acquisition, Knowledge Creating, Knowledge Integrating & Storing, Transmitting & Applying, and Knowledge Sharing. And these steps have to be combined with the present operation procedure. As to the building of knowledge management system, we have following three advices, (1) in favor of prospective knowledge sharing and exchanging, university libraries should obey the international standard when the development is carrying out. (2) in favor of prospective expansion and sustainable use , the functions of the procedure have to be provided with good flexibility. (3) the follow-up repair and data copy of the system are required regularly .

我國專門圖書館館員工作焦慮之研究 / A study on the job anxiety of special librarians in Taiwan

本研究之目的在於瞭解我國專門圖書館館員工作焦慮之產生來源及因素、瞭解我國專門圖書館館員工作焦慮之影響層面、目前我國專門圖書館館員如何降低工作焦慮之方式,以及瞭解館員個人背景資料在工作焦慮上之差異,並對於我國不同類型之專門圖書館館員產生工作焦慮之來源及影響層面的差異有具體瞭解,以提供專門圖書館館員作為降低工作焦慮及專門圖書館在規劃館員工作職掌及分配職務性質之基礎,並作為專門圖書館施行館員繼續教育之參考。 本研究採取的研究方法主要為問卷調查法,首先蒐集國內外相關文獻,進行整理及分析,並探討專門圖書館館員工作焦慮之構面,以擬訂調查問卷。在問卷量表的設計上主要是依據國內外有關使用者及諮商工作之焦慮量表為基礎,再進一步發展設計本研究之焦慮量表,量表內容共分為五點,依序為「不會」、「幾乎不會」、「有時會」、「常常會」、「幾乎都會」等,以區分館員在焦慮感受之不同程度。本研究為分析各類型專門圖書館之間館員工作焦慮的差異,因專門圖書館各類型圖書館中,有許多皆屬相同之母機構,使得同一類型的館員工作焦慮較為相似,故採取配額抽樣法(quota sampling),針對專門圖書館之九大類型進行抽樣調查,而不以普查方式進行調查。為求每一館別抽中之機率相等,故以圖書館館別為母群,依九大類型分別在母群中所佔比例採隨機抽樣方式,採母群的三分之一比例為樣本數,此外並從各類型中隨機挑選一館之館員進行問卷前測,依據前測之意見修正問卷,再全面發放。 經由調查研究顯示,在產生工作焦慮的來源及因素上:以個人、組織、資訊科技、圖書館工作與服務四大構面加以綜合分析,可得知產生工作焦慮的主要來源依序為「語文能力」、「工作時效性」、「組織的人事精簡」、「與蒐藏主題不可的專業學科背景」、「圖書館的對外政策不一」及「與單位主管的關係」並列、「工作職務」、「使用者的各項情緒反應(抱怨或焦慮)」、「個性」、「工作考核的結果」、「與母機構的互動不良」和「單位主管的更動」並列、「新的應用軟體」等。在工作焦慮對館員的影響層面及因素上:影響最高者為「工作倦怠感」,其次為「身體健康」、「工作滿意度」、「工作氣氛」、「同事之間的人際關係」、「家庭生活」與「工作績效之考核」並列、「團隊工作」、「服務讀者之品質」、「工作職務之分配」、「在職訓練之意願」和「工作輪調(職務調動)之實施」並列;而以「工作升遷之機會」影響最低。在有效降低工作焦慮之方法上:對館員最有效的方法為「參加休閒活動」,其次為「培養其他興趣」、「增加同事之間的交流」、「與親朋好友討論」、「參加在職進修」、「參加電腦訓練課程」、「請求資訊中心及人員的協助」、「和上司溝通」、「參加宗教活動」、「與其他圖書館合作」、「職務調動」、「排班(彈性上班)」、「找心理諮商人員」,而效果最低者為「找醫生協助」。 研究結果亦發現不同受訪者與各焦慮量表有部份差異,在不同受訪者與工作焦慮來源及因素之綜合分析方面:個人層面在性別、婚姻及家庭狀況、學科背景、目前所擔任的主要工作職務等自變項與部份依變項有所差異;組織層面在有無宗教信仰、學科背景、圖書館的工作年資、目前所擔任的主要工作職務、目前擔任的工作職務為全職或兼職等自變項與部份依變項有所差異;資訊科技層面在性別、年齡、學科背景、目前所擔任的主要工作職務、目前擔任的工作職務為全職或兼職等自變項與部份依變項有所差異;圖書館工作與服務層面在性別、年齡、教育程度、圖書館的工作年資、目前所擔任的主要工作職務、目前擔任的工作職務為全職或兼職、目前擔任的工作職務年資等自變項與部份依變項有所差異。在不同受訪者與工作焦慮可能影響層面之綜合分析方面:在年齡、教育程度、學科背景、目前所擔任的主要工作職務、目前擔任的工作職務為全職或兼職等自變項與部份依變項有所差異。 而九大類型專門圖書館與各焦慮量表之綜合分析方面,只在第三部份有效降低工作焦慮的方法之認知,宗教團體的館員都遠比研究機構及民眾團體的館員普遍認為「參加宗教活動」可有效降低工作焦慮,在前二部份並無差異,由此可知專門圖書館各類型之館員,基本上仍有其同質性,並不因歸屬之類型而有所差異。 依據研究結果提出四方面之建議,在研究工具方面:應建立完整與正確的專門圖書館名錄。在館員方面:1.釐清工作焦慮的來源;2.選擇有效降低工作焦慮之方法;3.正視個人的情緒管理;4.慎選個人述任的工作職務;5.安排適當的工作進度;6.應訓練自己正向思考;7.生活規律及營養均衡;8.轉移焦慮感及尋求協助。在圖書館方面:1.重視館員工作品質之需求;2.適度調整館員工作職務之分配;3.建立組織內部良好之溝通管道;4.母機構及單住主管應重視在職進修;5.建立職務代理制度並鼓勵員工休假。在圖書館學會方面:1.各類型專門圖書館之定義及定位;2.舉辦專門圖書館之單位主管與館員情緒管理相關之講座。

在資訊科技蓬勃發展和網路資源不斷快速成長的影響下,圖書館應用數位方式提供參考服務為時勢所趨;如何保有參考服務本質並應用創新科技來推行服務,成為圖書館的重要議題。公共圖書館為地方知識門戶,扮演著蒐集和提供社區民眾有關生活和學習資訊的角色;藉由網路強化參考諮詢服務,可進一步接觸原有讀者與潛在使用者,促進民眾對於圖書館各種服務的使用。 為瞭解國內公共圖書館推行數位參考服務之現況,本研究以台灣本島縣市與文化局圖書館為對象。透過問卷調查各縣市圖書館的參考服務模式、推行情況、館員知能等情形。再進一步以訪談法,探究縣市圖書館在施行數位參考服務時所面臨的困境、館員對於服務的看法等面向,以提出未來發展服務的相關建議,藉此提昇我國縣市圖書館數位參考服務之品質。 經調查顯示,國內縣市圖書館在數位參考服務的整體情況,有71%是透過電子郵件方式進行服務,其次14%是提供主題式線上參考資源,而僅有5%的圖書館建立知識庫。雖有各種不同類型的服務方式,縣市圖書館仍缺乏一個專屬於數位參考服務的管道,而數位資源的建置也需進一步加強,同時圖書館面臨了專業人員與資訊人員不足的困境。在使用者方面,學生為主要使用族群,常提出關於學校課業的諮詢問題。在館員認知方面,縣市圖書館館員雖偏好傳統面對面參考服務,但對於推動數位參考服務仍抱持著樂觀其成的態度,並贊同未來朝向數位合作參考服務的方向發展。 由研究結果歸納建議,縣市圖書館發展數位參考服務應重視組織規劃、服務推展與館際合作三大部份:在組織規劃方面,圖書館應積極研擬數位參考服務發展策略並設立專屬管道,進行人力重整或以合作方式解決人力缺乏問題,同時需提供相關教育訓練課程給予參與參考服務的館員們。在服務推展上,應掌握讀者認知習慣,透過利用教育課程提升讀者的資訊素養,同時進行服務狀況的紀錄統計,並著力於數位資源建置。在館際合作方面,可與學校圖書館一同推展利用教育課程,並結合圖書館現有合作服務項目共同發展數位合作參考服務,以創造雙贏局面。 / Due to the ubiquitous information and communication technologies (ICTs) and the blooming resources on the Internet, libraries now inevitably provide reference services with emerging ICTs. The phenomenon is highlighted within public libraries because of their obligations of equally offering information and its accessibility to the general public. By conducting the questionnaire survey and personal interviews, this study intends to investigate the current status quo of digital reference services in public libraries in Taiwan; to identify the challenges of improving their digital reference services, and to present corresponding solutions. Based on the results of 19 questionnaires and 10 interviews, the study finds that: (1)71% digital reference services are provided via email; 14% are via online pathfinder, and 5% are via knowledge base created by library. (2)Digital reference services are not prioritized in organization developing plan. Accordingly, the promotion of digital reference services, the acquisition of digital resources, and the need of full time librarians and IT staffs are often neglected. (3)From the educational perspective, the digital reference services can help the librarians for advising on students’ school projects and implementing information instructions to the public. (4)Although most librarians showed their willingness to promote digital reference services, they still preferred the traditional face-to-face reference services. However, they also agreed that the collaborative digital reference service will be the emerging trend . This study suggests that: (1)Public libraries should have digital reference services development strategy. (2)To solve the labor force deficiency, organization reengineering or cooperation should be considered. (3)The statistics of the digital reference services usage should be collected and analyzed. (4)The online reference resources for public libraries should be expanded. (5)To enhance users’ information literacy, library instructions and promoting events are necessary. (6)Public libraries could cooperate with the school libraries on improving the information literacy of students. (7)Public libraries should offer digital reference training programs to enhance librarians’ professional capabilities, such as electronic resources management. (8)Combine digital reference services with other interlibrary cooperation.

數位圖書館資訊架構對數位學習之學習成效影響研究-以自然與人文數位博物館為例 / A study on assessing the effects of information architecture of digital libraries on web-based learning performance- a case study on “The digital museum of nature & culture”

現今數位圖書館不僅止於將資源數位化,也必須提供館藏、資訊服務和學術活動整合的環境,並具有保存知識與有效支援學習的功能。本研究探究學習者利用數位圖書館支援數位學習時,數位圖書館的資訊架構設計是否影響學習者之學習成效,以及不同學習風格學習者對於數位圖書館提供的資訊架構,是否具有不同的資訊架構使用歷程與學習成效。本研究以國立自然科學博物館所屬之「自然與人文數位博物館」、Morae人機互動分析軟體以及Index of Learning Style(ILS)學習風格量表為研究工具,並利用「自然與人文數位博物館」進行數位圖書館支援數位學習之學習任務,據此探究數位圖書館資訊架構設計是否影響數位學習之學習成效。本研究結果指出數位圖書館支援數位學習具有良好的學習成效,在資訊架構影響學習成效部分發現,組織系統是影響學習成效的主因,並且不同學習成效學習者使用數位圖書館之資訊架構行為具有差異;總體型學習者之學習成效優於循序型學習者;學習成效較佳以及總體型學習者仰賴組織系統較多;而學習成效較差及循序型學習者則仰賴搜尋系統較多。 / Modern digital libraries not only digitalize resources, they are also required to provide an environment which integrates collection provision, information services, and academic activities, in addition to their functions of preserving knowledge and effectively supporting learning. This study investigated whether the design of the information structure of a digital library influences learning performance when learners use the digital library to supplement digital learning, and whether learners of different learning styles have different experiences and learning efficiency through the course of using different information architectures. The present study chose the Digital Museum of Nature and Culture established by the National Museum of Natural Science, Morae (a usability testing software), and the Index of Learning Style (ILS) as its research tools. This study used the Digital Museum of Nature and Culture to supplement digital learning tasks, thereby investigating whether the design of the information architecture of a digital library influenced digital learning efficiency. The present study suggested that the supplementation of digital learning with a digital library resulted in excellent learning efficiency. Regarding the influence of information architecture on learning efficiency, it was found that the organizational system was crucial to learning efficiency. Furthermore, learners with different learning efficiency displayed different behavior when using the information architecture of the digital library. It was found that the learning efficiency of global learners was better than that of sequential learners. Global learners and those learners with superior learning efficiency relied more heavily on the organizational system, while sequential learners and those learners with inferior learning efficiency relied more heavily on the search system.

我國大學圖書館館員工作輪調之研究 / A Study on the Job Rotation of University Librarians in Taiwan

本研究旨在瞭解大學圖書館館員對工作輪調制度的觀感、輪調實施的意見、工作輪調對圖書館及館員個人產生的影響、館員的個人特性對輪調看法的差異以及瞭解大學圖書館館長對工作輪調制度的看法,以期作為我國大學圖書館規劃及實施工作輪調的參考。 為達成研究目的,本研究採用問卷調查法及訪談法。首先以電話普查國內各公私立大學圖書館過去五年(民86-90年)是否實施工作輪調,針對實施輪調的24所大學圖書館依館員人數多寡分三層,以分層隨機抽樣的方式每層抽樣3所學校,對抽樣的9所大學圖書館館員實施問卷調查,並訪談抽樣學校的館長。 研究結果發現,對輪調制度的觀感上:受訪的館員大多數贊成實施工作輪調;不贊成新進人員、較高學歷者、工作表現較佳者調動頻率較高;贊成對於主管安排的調動,若個人無工作輪調的意願,可能會造成主管負面的印象。在工作輪調制度實施的意見上:多數贊成暑假期間實施;館員輪調頻率以三年一次、主管為四年一次最好;輪調的比率以五分之一為宜;館員認為工作輪調標準的考量以「依館員輪調的意願」、「依館員個人專長」、「擔任同一職務的年資」為前三高;館員感受實際工作輪調的標準,前三高為「依館員的意願」、「以制度為主,但尊重個人意願」、「依照制度規定」;輪調的方式較偏好計畫性輪調;不適合輪調的職務以「系統管理」、「會計」、「秘書」為前三高。工作輪調的影響上:工作輪調對個人及圖書館整體產生的影響大多為正面的影響,對個人的影響以「對圖書館整體的了解」、「專業知識」、「激發潛能」為前三個正面的影響;對圖書館整體的影響以「人員培訓」、「經驗傳承」及「防止弊端」為前三個正面影響。研究結果也發現不同教育程度、年齡、年資的受訪者,對實施工作輪調的態度沒有差異。此外,從訪談結果得知,主管的態度主導工作輪調;工作輪調辦法有利於確立制度但缺乏彈性;輪調的實施多數尊重館員的意願;良好的溝通協調是輪調實施成效的關鍵;在職訓練、工作手冊是實施工作輪調的基礎工作。 根據研究結果從三方面提出建議。在工作輪調的心態上:1.應強調積極正面的工作輪調精神;2.鼓勵館員勇於接受挑戰以促進自我成長。在工作輪調的執行上:1.建立較具彈性的輪調制度;2.尊重館員輪調的意願,以溝通協調並化解歧見;3.提供相關訓練,建立完整的個人資歷檔案;4.工作輪調經驗列入升遷的考量標準之一;5.輪調應執行後續評鑑;6.落實職務代理制度。在圖書館工作輪調計畫上:應建立館員個人資歷檔案、編製工作說明書及工作手冊、規範工作輪調的內容,包括輪調實施的時間、頻率、執行方式、輪調的比例、不適合輪調的職務。
