公共圖書館電子資源支援新北市國小教學使用需求之調查研究 / A Study of Elementary School Teachers' Teaching Needs Support by Public Libraries Electronic Collection in New Taipei City

本研究旨在探討公共圖書館電子資源對於新北市國小教師支援教學之需求,透過網站內容分析對八所國立及直轄市立公共圖書館之電子資源網站進行分析,以瞭解可支援新北市國小教師教學需求之電子資源概況,接著對十位曾使用公共圖書館電子資源融入教學中之新北市國小教師進行深度訪談,透過網站內容分析及訪談分析,本研究發現如下: 一、公共圖書館電子資源館藏方面: (一)公共圖書館電子資源種類繁多,各館資源重複者不多,且自購或自建之電子資源數量、比例,各館差距大。 (二)部分相同之電子資源於各公共圖書館網站中所列名稱及資源類型劃分略有不同。 (三)各圖書館網站之內容主題區分與國小學習領域不相符。 (四)大多公共圖書館資源數量最多的主題為「語文」與「社會」領域,而「數學」則是普遍資源數量最少的主題。 (五)公共圖書館以中文電子資源為大宗,其次是英文。 (六)國小學童學習需求差距大,公共圖書館電子資源之適用年齡大多僅以「兒童」分類。 (七)大部分公共圖書館之電子資源需要閱讀證方可使用;少部分電子資源具有取用地點限制;部分電子資源可選擇下載閱讀器方便離線閱讀。 二、國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源的教學需求方面: (一)國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源融入教學的因素為:「補充課程內涵與課外知識」、「增長教師專業知能,確認教學內容正確性」、「提升學生的學習興趣」、「方便好用」。 (二)新北市教師認為公共圖書館電子資源適合使用於「準備活動」與「綜合活動」。 (三)新北市教師偏好可互動、具有影音效果的電子資源,因此在課堂上經常「直接播放」公共圖書館電子資源,或輔以Powerpoint及Word重新組織成教材。 (四)新北市國小教師認為使用公共圖書館電子資源於教學的成效為:1.容易引起學生的興趣與動機;2.教師自覺更有教學效能;3.教師能夠自我成長、添增新知;4.擴大學生學習的層面;5.提升學生的學習成就。 (五)可能影響國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源意願之因素為:1.備課時間不足;2.夥伴教師少;3.教學進度的壓力;4.電子資源內容不符合教學目標;5.電子資源可借閱量不足;6.電子資源分類方式與適用年齡不合使用;7.電子資源的檢索及取用方式不熟悉。 (六)新北市國小教師最常瀏覽新北市立圖書館電子資源,除此之外對於公共圖書館的瞭解所知甚少。 (七)「Google搜尋引擎搜尋」是獲知可使用於教學的公共圖書館電子資源之優先管道。 最後再依據訪談過程中新北教師的建議及研究的結果,提出對教育主管單位、公共圖書館、國小教師及未來後續研究的建議。 / The purpose of this study was to explore the information need of elementary school teachers in their usage of public library electronic resources for teaching in New Taipei City. The content analysis approach and in-depth interview were developed by the research. The major findings of this study are listed as follows: 1. Public libraries electronic collection: (1) There are many kinds of electronic resource in Public libraries, such as the percentage of procurement electronic collection. (2) The same electronic resource were classified to different resource type by different library. (3) The most subject of electronic resource is “Mandarin” and ” Social Studies”in Public library. The less subject is “Mathematics”. (4) The amount of Chinese electronic is more than English. 2. The information need of elementary school teachers in their usage of public library electronic resources for teaching: (1) The factor of using public library electronic resources for teaching is that using as supplementary teaching materials, enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of teachers, lifting the student’s learning interest. (2) Public library electronic are Suitable for “Warm up” and “Wrap up” activities. (3) The elementary school teachers prefer using interactive electronic resource. (4) The negative factors of elementary teacher use electronic resource in teaching is about to be short of time, partner…etc. (5) Google have high priority in searching public library electronic resources for teaching. Accroding to the research finding, there are some suggestions for educational administration, public library, elementary school teachers and follow-up research.

台灣地區大學院校圖書館教授指定參考書服務之調查研究 / The survey research of reserve service in college and university libraries in Taiwan

培養學生自我學習的能力是大學教育的重要目標,為了支援教學研究,大學圖書館常設有教授指定參考書的服務。在圖書館有限的經費與空間限制下,指定參考書可以保障學生使用課堂所需資料的權利、減少學生的負擔,並方便學生使用。本研究的目的是為了瞭解台灣地區大學院校圖書館中,館員對於教授指定參考書的看法、各校的設置情形、管理方式以及實施上的困難,並尋求最佳的管理方式。 本研究採用問卷調查法,調查對象為台灣地區96個大學院校圖書館,問卷回收率達94.79 %,其中有效問卷計89份。在回收的問卷中,有69個(約77.5 %)的圖書館表示目前有提供此項服務。 研究結果顯示,幾乎所有受訪館員,對於指定參考書支援教學的基本功能都抱持高度的肯定。一般而言,由於借閱期限和使用地點的限制,而影響到其他讀者的權利是指定參考書最大的缺點。指定參考書多沒有一個獨立的存放區域,而是最常被放置在參考室或流通區,由參考館員或流通館員兼管。指定參考資料的類型趨於多樣化,不再限於館藏內的紙本書籍。此外,國內大學圖書館對於著作權的保護不夠完善,沒有制定與指定參考書服務相關的影印政策,且在重製資料前並未徵求著作權人同意。多數的圖書館也缺乏定期的統計和評鑑。圖書館在提供此項服務時,最常遭遇的困難則為教師的參與意願不高。 針對調查結果,本研究建議指定參考書的規劃應與館藏發展政策相互配合,方能更適切的滿足學生需求。國內應成立著作權仲介團體,並訂定適合我國國情的非營利教育機構合理使用規範,供圖書館作為提供指定參考書服務時的依循。未來教授指定參考書要朝向電子化的方向努力,提昇使用的便捷性。圖書館應定期進行指定考書服務的統計、評鑑,以做有效的規劃與預測。向教師宣導指定參考書之意義及重要性,並加強教學過程與圖書館資源的密切配合,以教學圖書館的概念培養學生自我學習的能力。 / Reserve services have existed in libraries for many years. They provide special access to a limited number of materials. Photocopied articles , library books and non-library items such as instructor-owned book are often placed on reserve to support class assignments or supplemental course reading. This thesis describes the current status of the reserve service in the college and university libraries in Taiwan based on responses to questionnaires sent to the directors of such libraries. The survey was conducted in March 1999. The questionnaires were sent to ninety-six college and university libraries , and ninety-one institutions participated. The questionnaire had six main components : (1)librarian opinion about reserve service, (2)whether the library provide reserve service, (3)management of reserve collection, (4)copyright protective policy, (5)automation, and (6)difficulties.

大台北地區公共圖書館越南籍新住民服務之研究 / A study of new vietnam immigrant services in Taipei area public libraries

臺灣受到全球化的影響,跨國婚姻遽增;自2005年起,新住民已成為臺灣的第五大族群。作為資訊服務業之一的公共圖書館,應肩負促進不同文化間對話、交流的使命,並因應當代多元文化社會民眾的需求,推行多元文化服務的各項措施。 本研究目的在探討越南籍新住民本身的資訊需求及圖書館推行新住民服務之現況,並研擬出大台北地區公共圖書館新住民服務之建議方針。透過深度訪談法,瞭解越南籍新住民資訊需求及使用圖書館之經驗,並採用個案研究法,分析館方新住民服務現況、困境、未來規畫及新住民到館使用之情形。 經研究顯示,在越南籍新住民資訊需求方面,語言溝通資訊與臺灣生活有關之常識資訊是越南籍新住民最主要的生活資訊需求,而人際網路及網際網路是最常解決資訊需求的管道;在使用圖書館經驗上,大部分受訪者皆使用過臺灣的圖書館,首次到館之新住民主要是藉由親朋好友引介或為了陪同家人等外在因素而使用圖書館;對於常利用圖書館之越南籍新住民而言,會使用圖書館多起因於增進自我知能;反之,對於不常使用圖書館之新住民而言,除了圖書館本身路程遙遠、交通不便外,阻礙因素尚包含圖書館本身之館藏、人員、空間、宣傳行銷四面向。 目前大台北地區公共圖書館所推行之新住民服務包含提供多語言圖書、期刊、報紙及視聽資料之館藏資源;舉辦閱讀推廣活動及多元文化推廣活動,前者包含影展、書展、參訪及利用教育,後者包含展覽、文化講座、劇場、語言學習、電腦研習等;實行專線諮詢、電子郵件或書面形式之參考服務;建置多語言館藏書目資料、圖書館網頁專區或多語言介面之電腦設備。但服務上主要困境為缺乏專業語言人力、無法順利傳達給新住民相關訊息及經費不足等問題。 由研究結果歸納,建議未來國內公共圖書館推行新住民服務時,可由新住民服務政策、館藏資源、推廣活動、行銷推廣、人力資源等面向著手進行,以提升館方服務品質;最後,亦針對政府機關、學校機構、圖書館主管單位及社福機構四所與圖書館相關單位提出建議,由圖書館本身與大環境相互配合,才可以使得服務更臻完善。

青少年收容人圖書資訊利用與讀書會參與之研究 / Library and information use of juvenile inmates

青少年時期在人生中是一個很重要的時期,但往往有時會因觀念的偏差而犯錯,而進了矯正機構。但與成人不同的是,青少年收容人尚處於受教育的階段,未來還具有相當的成長空間,因此矯正機構的教育就顯得更為重要。而監所圖書館更是矯正機構中的文教重要機構,如果能夠提供收容人文化教育服務,方能突顯監所圖書館在矯治教育中的重要性。 本研究在了解矯正機構中的圖書資訊利用情況,並探討收容人讀書會的運作情況,以作為未來收容人讀書會辦理的參考。首先透過問卷調查法,了解誠正中學收容人的圖書資訊利用情況,探討收容人對於圖書資源的運用是否符合需求。並透過與收容人讀書會的帶領者進行訪談,了解每個帶領者帶領讀書會的方式,並深入探討帶領者對收容人讀書會的看法與建議。 根據本研究發現,就圖書資訊利用情況來說:一、對於收容人來說,圖書室的利用不甚方便,因此在取得資訊上也有所不便;二、收容人對於圖書館的認同尚有加強的空間;三、收容人在閱讀書籍的學科種類上不甚均衡;四、收容人對圖書館所提供的服務不完全滿意。而就讀書會運作情況來說:一、參與讀書會的確帶給收容人正面的影響;二、同時收容人讀書會也給帶領者帶來正面的收穫;三、收容人讀書會和圖書館間缺乏互動;四、收容人讀書會的參與者變動情形嚴重;五、收容人讀書會缺乏足夠的經費來源。 最後提出下列的建議。對監所圖書館來說:一、機關首長重視圖書資訊利用,增設一位專職圖書館員,並讓圖書館的設置常態化;二、制定館藏發展政策,以求館藏均衡發展;三、重新訂定圖書館利用方法;四、加強與公共圖書館的合作。對收容人讀書會來說:一、尋求外界讀書會的支持;二、維持讀書會參與者之穩定性;三、定期評鑑讀書會的成效;四、提供一個收容人發表心得的園地;五、推動資訊相關科技。除此之外,對國內資訊相關科系來說,若能開設特殊圖書館相關的課程,對於社會上弱勢族群的圖書資訊利用也將會有所幫助。 / Adolescence is a very crucial phase of life. However, adolescents might be sent to correctional institutions for making mistakes that resulted from conceptual deviation. But, juvenile inmates are still on the stage of education, so there is a great room for them to grow in the future. Therefore, the importance of education in correctional institutions is manifested. Moreover, the prison library is even more important among the correctional institutions. If the prison library could provide the inmates with cultural and educational service, it could enhance the importance in correctional education. The purpose of the research is to understand the library and information use in correctional institutions, and the function of the study groups of the juvenile inmates , for planning study groups of the juvenile inmates in the future. First, using the questionnaires to investigate the library and information use of the inmates in Chengjheng high school, and to study whether the function of the information meets their demand. Furthermore, interviewing the leaders of study groups of the juvenile inmates to realize how every leader conducts a study group, and to profoundly discuss the leaders’ opinion and suggestion for study groups. The findings are as follows: First, as for the inmates, the use of library is not that convenient, so it’s rather inconvenient to get information resources. Second, there is till a great room for the inmates to use the library. Third, the available books need more categories. Fourth, the inmates are not satisfied with the services the library provides. As for the function of the study groups: First, participating in study groups surely has a positive effect on the inmates. Second, leaders also get a positive effect from study groups of the inmates. Third, study groups lack for interaction with libraries. Fourth, the participants of the study group of the inmates vary greatly. Fifth, There are not sufficient funds to form study groups. Finally, some suggestions are made. As for the prison library: First, the chief of the institution should focus on the library and information use, employ one more full-time librarian, and should normalize the installment of libraries. Second, with a collection development policy to balancing the collection of libraries. Third, the ways of using libraries should be improved. Fourth, the cooperation with public libraries should be enhanced. Then, as for the study groups of the inmates: First, the study groups should search for the support of other outside study groups. Second, the participants of study groups should be fixed. Third, the effects of the study groups should be judged regularly. Fourth, a space for the inmates to express opinions should be provided. Fifth, technology related to information should be promoted. If departments of library and information science in Taiwan could offer new courses on special libraries, they would also be a good help for the disadvantaged minority in society to take advantage of the library and information use.

公共圖書館讀者使用之城鄉差異現象研究─以台北縣為例

近五十年來,我國公共圖書館事業伴隨經濟成長,已然建立完善的圖書館系統。然而一般民眾對於公共圖書館所提供服務之認識與利用,尚未普遍,顯示從服務利用的角度來看,現階段公共圖書館之成效仍未臻理想。因此,如何針對不同地區之讀者群需求,研擬服務策略,以吸引民眾利用公共圖書館之各項服務,並提升現有讀者之服務利用層次與深度;同時掌握不同地區之讀者所重視之服務項目,據以改善不同地區之公共圖書館的服務品質,遂成為公共圖書館亟待研究的重要課題。 本研究以臺北縣十市、四鎮及十五鄉之公共圖書館之讀者為研究對象,以問卷調查到館讀者對於公共圖書館服務之要求與讀者利用公共圖書館之行為,並且將讀者利用行為分成城市地區與鄉鎮地區二部分作為比較,找出造成公共圖書館讀者使用之城鄉差異現象之因素。本研究之具體結論可以歸納為四方面,並提出改善公共圖書館城鄉差異現象的九點建議。

我國國家層級檔案館與圖書館典藏與應用服務整併之可行性研究 / The Feasibility Study on Integration of Collection and Services between National Level Archives and Libraries in Taiwan

檔案館與圖書館有著相似的特性、功能與工作流程,館藏內容、形式從以往有著明顯區隔,漸趨多樣、重疊,分歧愈顯模糊,難以劃分何種機構應典藏何種類型物件,兩館灰色區域逐漸擴大顯然已成為一種趨勢。以美國總統圖書館為例,該館雖稱圖書館,然其館藏囊括與總統相關之圖書、檔案、文物三者,若將圖書留存圖書館,檔案、文物分送至檔案館與博物館典藏,不僅破壞保存的完整性、原始順序,更徒增成本、造成使用者的不便,弊多於利。 本研究之主要目包括四項:(1) 瞭解國際檔案館與圖書館館際合作與整合的趨勢與發展;(2)比較檔案館與圖書館功能、任務、館藏、典藏環境等,重新檢視兩館之異同;(3)分析我國國家層級檔案與圖書典藏單位對於典藏與應用服務合作或整合的看法,並擷取國外經驗,探討在我國實行之可行性;(4)參酌上述資料,提出我國未來檔案館與圖書館在典藏與應用服務合作與整合上的建議,以供未來規劃、發展方向之參考。 研究結果發現,檔案館與圖書館於功能、任務、館藏及典藏環境漸趨一致,而國際上文化典藏單位整合已有成功案例,相關組織與研究亦相繼成立,館與館間的資源整合已成為文化典藏未來的趨勢。我國國家層級檔案與圖書典藏單位對於這樣的趨勢,皆認為現階段應以合作取代整併,以解決所面臨相同的問題。 因此在研究結論中,呼應我國國家層級檔案與圖書典藏單位面對整併與合作時所遭遇的困境,提出具體解決方案,包括政策、館舍、人力資源、應用服務等幾個面向,以確立我國國家層級檔案與圖書典藏單位整併或合作之可行性。 / Archives and libraries share similar characteristics, function, and workflows. The content and formats of their collections have become undistinguishable. Take Presidential library system in USA for example. Its collection encompasses books, archives, and objects related to presidents. To divide these collections to libraries, archives, and museums respectively would ruin the integrity and original order. Moreover, it would add cost and make inconvenience. The purposes of this paper are as follows. (1) Understand the international trend of the cooperation and integration between archives and libraries. (2) Compare and contrast the function, missions, collection, and environment between archives and libraries. (3) Analyze the perspectives of national level archives and libraries on the collaboration or integration of conservation and application services, and complement foreign experiences to explore the feasibility of combining these two services. (4) Suggest the future scheme and development of the collaboration and integrating of conservation and application services offered by archives and libraries in Taiwan. The results revealed that the function, missions, collection, and conservation environment of archives and that of libraries were getting identical. Furthermore, there were some successful cases of the integrating of conservation units, and related research and organizations founded in succession. It demonstrates that the future cultural conservation will turn to information integration between institutions. The study concludes by proposing specific plans, such as policies, buildings, human resources, and services to solve the difficulties faced by archives and libraries when they tried to integrate or cooperate with each other, and thus make their integration or collaboration feasible.

公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動之研究 / Children's e-book promotion activities in public libraries

本研究旨在探討國內公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動現況,以深度訪談法了解國內公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動意義與內涵、種類、策略與規劃設計、兒童電子書推廣活動與傳統閱讀推廣活動差異等。故本研究之研究問題為:(一)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的意義為何?(二)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的辦理方式為何?(三)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的策略與宣傳方式為何?(四)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的規劃設計為何?(五)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的評鑑方式為何?(六)促成公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的成功因素為何?(七)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動實施時所遭遇的問題有哪些? (八)參與公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動讀者的看法為何?(九)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動與傳統推廣活動的差異為何? 本研究先以網站分析法了解各圖書館網站提供兒童電子書網站服務的情形;深度訪談法訪談五所大型公共圖書館,包含臺北市立圖書館、新北市立圖書館、國立中央圖書館臺灣分館、國立臺中圖書館和高雄市立圖書館等。最後再針對參與過公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的讀者進行深度訪談,探討其參與的經驗,共7位讀者,包含4位兒童讀者和3位成人讀者。 綜合各項資料歸納出九項結論:(一)推廣服務有助於兒童電子書的推廣。(二)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的辦理方式多元,專為兒童電子書推廣而辦理的活動有兒童電子書閱讀、電子資源利用研習、班級訪問活動、到校授課和主題活動。(三)其推廣策略有地區的推廣、對象的推廣和項目的推廣。宣傳活動管道,主要為透過網站、電子報/E-mail、館舍、刊登館內文宣等。(四)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的規劃設計有七要項,包含參與對象、推廣活動的型態、電子書與資料庫選擇原則、授課人員、時間安排、場地安排、教材與電腦網路設備。(五)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的評鑑方法有八種:問卷調查、參與數量統計、使用統計、自我評鑑、學習單、觀察法、訪談法、電子資源問題諮詢紀錄。(六)促成公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動的成功因素,主要有長官的支持、政策的支持、母機構的支持和充足的人力配置。(七)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動實施時所遭遇的問題,主要為人力不足 (八)參加兒童電子書推廣活動讀者肯定推廣服務的價值。(九)公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動與傳統推廣活動的差異包含電腦素養、電腦科技的接受度、授課環境要求較高、兒童電子書的多媒體設計與格式要求。 最後本研究針對公共圖書館兒童電子書推廣活動之現況提出五項建議(一)提升圖書館館員電子資源與推廣活動的專業能力。(二)解決公共圖書館館員人力不足的問題。(三)提升圖書館的電腦軟硬體設備以支持電子書服務。(四)兒童電子書網站服務也是推廣服務一環。(五)公共圖書館應強化兒童電子書館藏。 / The theme of this study is to investigate the current promotion activities of the children e-book in the public libraries in Taiwan. Depth interviews are implemented to comprehend the (1) significance & connotation (2) the types of activities (3) strategy and (4) planning and designing (5) the differences between the children e-book and traditional reading. The theme of this study are: 1.What is the significance of the promotion of e-book in the public libraries? 2. What are the right way to conduct the e-book promotion activities in the public libraries? 3. What are the planning and desinning of the children’s e-books promotion activities in public libraries? 4. What will be the key concerns when a children e-book promoting activity will run in a public children library? 5. What are the evaluation methods of the children’s e-books promotion activities in public libraries? 6. What are the factors that make the children e-book to be promoted successfully in the public library? 7. What are the problems encountered when the children e-books are promoted in the public children library? 8. What are visitors’ opinions after participating in a children e-book promoting activity? 9. What are the differences between a children e-book promoting activity and traditional promoting activity? Websites analysis and depth interview are used in this research. During the proceeding of this research, website analysis is used to learn how the e-book websites offer their services. Consequently, 5 major public libraries including Taipei City Library, New Taipei City Library, National Central Library-Taiwan branch. National Taichung Library and Kaohsiung City Library and etc.. After all these, the readers who have ever attended any e-book promotion activity are also invited to have this interview to learn their experiences. 7 readers, 4 children and 3 adults were interviewed. Nine conclusions are made after studying all the data: (1) Marketing services can help with children’s e-book promotion. (2) E-book promotion activities have been conducted through multiple ways in the public libraries. For example: children’s e-book reading, workshops on utilizing electronic sources, visiting classes, teaching in schools and running theme activities.(3) Marketing has different strategies, different groups and different items. The main promotion connections are websites, electronic newspapers and e-mail, library buildings, public organizations, publishing promotion ads in the library and so on. (4) Seven projects concerning children’s e-books in the library are promoted through the children e-book promoting activities in all the public libraries in Taiwan. The sub-projects are the objects targeted, the types of activities promoted, the principles of choosing e-books and e-data, instructors training, schedule arrangement, location arrangement, teaching materials preparation and computer and network facilities set up. (5)There are eight different approaches to conducting the evaluation of children’s e-book promotion activity in public libraries: (a) questionnaires (b) statistics of participating numbers, (c) statistics of use, (d) self-evaluation, (e) learning sheet, (f) observing method, (g) interviews, (h) records of electronic consultation questionnaires .(6)The major factors that make the e-book able to be successfully accepted in public libraries are the full support from (a) those in charge, (b) policies (c) proper placement of personnel activity.(7) The major reason for encountering problems is insufficient personnel activity when the promotion activities were running in the public libraries.(8)The readers who attended the children’s e-book promotion activities confirm the value of e-book promotion.(9)The differences between the children’s e-book promotion activity and traditional promotion activity in the public libraries are (a) one's general ability with computers, (b) the acceptance of computer technology (c) expecting a better studying environment (d) demanding multi-media design and format in their e-books. At the last part of this research, 5 suggestions in connection with E-book promotion activities conducted in the public libraries are brought up here. (1) Promote the professional librarian’s capability concerning the Children E-book promotion activities. (2) Settle the problem of insufficient human resources in the public libraries. (3) Promote E-book service by upgrading facilities of computer software & hardware in the library. (4) Services of Children e-book websites is also a link in chain. (5) The public libraries should strengthen the collection of children’s e-books.

社群網路服務在大學圖書館之應用研究: 以 Facebook 和噗浪為例 / A study of the applications of social network services in the academic libraries

Facebook與噗浪是近年國內最多人使用之社群網站,其將朋友圈突破為開 放式之架構,成為最具影響力之傳播平台。在眾多企業與組織皆利用其作 為服務與行銷工具的同時,圖書館也順勢推出了社群網路服務,希望 本研究之目的在提供大學圖書館社群網路服務未來經營內容 與方向之具體建議。首先利用「內容分析法」對三者進行功能、訊息與回 應多面向之服務情形分析,其次採用「問卷調查法」瞭解使用者之經驗與 想法,共回收727份問卷,最後再經由與館員們的「深度訪談」確認館方 之想法與態度。 研究結果發現: 一.社群網路服務對圖書館深具重要性,因其擁有以 下特點:(一)提供了圖書館主動出擊的機會、(二)圖書館可以將 Facebook 視為圖書館滿意度評估的工具、(三)與圖書館其它服務管道做結合,截 長補短,為圖書館服務加做加值;二.使用者期許圖書館社群網路服務更 有系統之經營;三.大學圖書館館員對社群網路服務應抱持著積極正面的 經營態度;四.大學圖書館 Facebook 與噗浪之經營策略與重點為:(一) 經營初期需要策略,宜讓更多館員參與且定期維護、(二)需要全體員 工共同經營,而非僅由少數館員把關、(三)了解平台特性與具備經營熱 情遠比平台選擇重要、(四)提供隱私權相關說明,讓使用者能安心使 用平台。 最後,提出未來圖書館社群網路之經營建議:一.注意「訊息最佳化」, 以活動、公告為主要發佈類型,內容以簡單扼要為宜,並應附上詳細連 結;二.建立「圖書館社群訊息守則」,建立館內發佈訊息之一致性與共識; 三.社群網路需要主動宣傳才能有效達到「曝光管道最大化」;四.鼓勵使用者的參與、五.定期做使用者意見調查;六.持續更新與即時管理。 / In recent years, Facebook has become one of the most popular social networking sites in the world. It has not only made it easier than ever for people to connect with each other, but is also a great influence on this generation of youths. The method of marketing library services through Facebook without intrusions into peoples’ privacy is worth pondering. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of university library Facebook/Plurk page and to explore it from viewpoints of librarians as well as readers. The research used content analysis to analyze the user activities on Facebook and Plurk among both National Taiwan University and Providence University students. In addition, a questionnaire was designed to understand readers’ experiences and viewpoints on the use of Social Networking Services by libraries. The questionnaire was sent over the internet and 727 responses were received and processed. Furthermore, the study interviewed library staff to investigate viewpoints of librarians on the social networking use by libraries. Based on the summarized results of the data, suggestions were made for university libraries regarding how to use Social Network to promote library services. The results of this study shows that National Taiwan University and Providence University use different management strategies on social networking. National Taiwan University has a social networking team with established standard operating procedures, as such, most of NTT’s postings are university activities and announcements. For Providence University, social networking is managed by one person and as a result, the posts are more personal, active and dynamic.

大學圖書館對於學習障礙學生服務現況分析 / The analysis of university library services for students with learning disabilities

隨著身心障礙者的服務範圍越來越廣,圖書館的特殊讀者服務也由視覺障礙、肢體障礙等外顯性障礙的服務擴展到學習障礙者、聽覺障礙者或其他感知著作有困難之特定身心障礙者。 由於學習障礙者也被納入了特殊讀者服務的修正辦法中,因此本研究旨在討論大學圖書館對於學習障礙學生服務之現況,以半結構式訪談法進行研究,對象分為大學圖書館員,以及大學學習障礙學生。 就館員而言,進行館員對於學習障礙學生的認識及服務內容與實際上的服務進行調查。就學習障礙學生而言,調查其對於館內圖書資源與服務的看法,了解是否適合學習障礙學生使用。 綜合訪談之結果獲得結論為:(一)圖書館員對於學習障礙的認知與專業能力不足;(二) 圖書館員難以辨認無外顯障礙的學習障礙大學生;(三) 大學圖書館尚未建立學習障礙相關設備;(四)學習障礙大學生們目前可以取用的資訊仍限於館內現有資源。 最後提出根據研究結論大學圖書館對於學習障礙學生應提供服務之建議,及未來相關可行的研究方向。 / As the service scope for people with disabilities broadens, library services for people with disabilities have expanded from the initial provision of services for people with physical disabilities, such as visual or mobile impairment, to those with learning disabilities, hearing impairment, or other perception-based disabilities. Recent amendments to regulations governing library services for people with disabilities have added provisions for people with learning disabilities. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss the current state of library services for people with disabilities in universities. A semi-structured interview was designed to collect data from university librarians and university students with learning disabilities. For the librarians, interviews were centered on their understanding of students with learning disabilities, service content, and actual service provision. For the students with disabilities, interviews were focused on their perceptions of library resources and services and whether they are suitable for students with disabilities. A summary of the interview outcomes revealed that (1) the librarians lacked the understanding and professional capacity to serve students with disabilities; (2) the librarians found it difficult to recognize students with learning disabilities without apparent physical impairments; (3) universities libraries lack the facilities to provide services to students with learning disabilities; and (4) only a limited amount of library resources are available to students with learning disabilities. Finally, several suggestions were proposed to university libraries for the provision of services to students with learning disabilities were proposed based on the findings of this study, and several recommendations were proposed for future research.

Koha圖書館自動化系統在台灣之應用 / Application for koha integrated library systems in Taiwan

隨著時代的變遷,圖書館員和使用者對於圖書館自動化系統的功能和現況漸漸產生許多不滿與問題。由於系統的開發過程封閉且原始碼無法取得,使圖書館只能另覓其他的自動化系統產品。開放程式的發展在二十一世紀隨著網際網路的發展受到重視。開放程式的圖書館自動化系統讓使用者除了使用還可以有複製、散佈、研究、改寫、再利用的自由。 本研究旨在探討台灣開放程式圖書館自動化系統的引進與發展現況,以Koha系統為研究對象,首先由文獻探討獲得圖書館自動化的現況、開放程式碼的發展,及開放程式應用於圖書館自動化系統之現況,並依據TAM科技接受模式為基礎設計問卷問項與進行分析,接著由訪談的方式深入瞭解台灣使用Koha系統的現況與問題,訪談對象包括使用Koha系統之圖書館以及與Koha系統相關的單位或個人,最後進行問卷調查與訪談資料整理分析。 本研究結果如下:1.台灣開放程式圖書館自動化系統的現況:台灣引進Koha系統始於2005年,由輔大圖資系毛慶禎副教授提倡Koha中文繁體的發展。使用對象多為中小學圖書館與對開放程式有興趣者,由於政府政策的影響,未來繼續使用Koha系統之中小學圖書館將銳減。2.圖書館使用開放程式圖書館自動化系統之動機:(1)圖書館未自動化;(2)缺乏購買系統的經費;(3)經由推廣取得;(4)對應用開放軟體有興趣;(5)過去使用過的圖書館自動化系統不成功;(6)教學使用;(7)有良好的技術支援協助。3.對Koha系統接受度不高:Koha系統由於技術支援、易用性與滿意度不足,以及受到政府政策影響,導致其接受度不高。4.成功使用開放程式圖書館自動化系統之因素:(1)教育訓練與交接完整;(2)其他人力支援;(3)技術支援;(4)介面親和;(5)功能容易使用;(6)館員態度積極。5.使用開放程式圖書館自動化系統失敗之原因與困難:(1)教育訓練不足;(2)缺乏人力;(3)缺乏技術支援;(4)功能不全;(5)系統說明手冊不完整;(6)介面不親和;(7)技術門檻較高。 本研究結果可提供台灣未來發展開放程式圖書館自動化系統的參考方案,觀察使用Koha系統圖書館失敗的原因以及與Koha系統相關單位兩方的觀點與困難,發現其中產生的問題,給予Koha系統、使用者與在地團隊建議。 / As the wheel of time turns, librarians and users of the integrated library system(ILS) become to be unsatisfied the features of ILS. Because of the developing process is closed and the unavailability of the source code, libraries have to try other ILS products for further development. Open source ILS is one of options, it gives users the freedom to copy, distribute, research, rewrite and reuse. The purpose of this research is to study the current developing situation of open source ILS in Taiwan. We use Koha system as research case. By studying related papers, we captured the current situation of ILS, the development of open source, and the application of open source ILS. Using the questionnaires based on technology acceptance model (TAM) and interviews, we enhance our understanding of the current use and question about the Koha system in Taiwan. The findings are as follows: 1.Current view of open source ILS in Taiwan: Prof. Mao has been distributing the developing of Koha in traditional Chinese since 2005. Users who used Koha system are mainly libraries in junior-high schools and elementary schools and those who are interested in Koha system. Due to the policy of Ministry of Education, the usage of Koha system in libraries in senior-high schools and elementary schools will be significantly less after 2010. 2. Reasons why libraries use open source ILS were categorized as follows :(1)Libraries was not automated; (2)Libraries were not automated successfully; (3)Libraries adopted Koha from promotion; (4)Libraries had insufficient budget; (5)Libraries had good technical supports; (6)Schools used Koha for education training purpose; (7)Schools were interested in the usage of open source. 3.The reasons of low acceptance of the Koha system: (1)Lack of technical supports; (2)Koha system was hard to use for average users; (3)Ministry of Education command the elementary and secondary schools to adopt new ILS. 4.Factors of the success adoption of the open source ILS: (1)Complete education training for users; (2)Other human resource support; (3)Technical support; (4)Friendly user interface; (5)Ease of use; (6)Positive attitude. 5.Reasons of the failure of library automation system and its difficulties: (1)Lack of training; (2)Lack of human support; (3)Lack of technical supports; (4)Incomplete features; (5)Incomplete system manual; (6)Unfriendly user interface; (7)Higher technology requirement.
