Barn som utpekas som syndabockar

Gwiazdowska, Aneta January 2018 (has links)
The purpose of this essay is to investigate what norms and discourses exist at my preschool and how they contribute to create different constructions of children from a discourse perspective. Furthermore, I want to investigate the causes of my and my colleagues' patterns of action as well as the possibilities for action that exist in the emerging situations from two ethical perspectives, duty ethics and virtues. The essay is about the difficulty to cater to the best of the whole group and to take care of each child’s unique needs at the same time. The idea behind this essay was raised when I noted in my department that one child was blamed for all that went wrong. The essay begins with the description of some situations where my colleagues, through both their verbal and physical actions, express how difficult it is to meet children that behave in a way that makes them worried and puzzled. I do not raise my own concerns about the boy’s behavior or how the teachers react to his needs. When I finally dare to speak up during a meeting with the special pedagogue I risk destroying their chances to get an extra teacher for this child. My colleagues focus on his shortcomings and express a desire to correct his behaviour. My focus is on changing and adapting the environment, activities, routines and our approach to meeting the individual child’s specific needs. I reflect on the causes of my and my colleagues' actions as well as our possibilities of action using two ethical perspectives, duty ethics and virtues. These perspectives open up for an in-depth understanding of the dilemma through an insider perspective. Using this perspective, I can express my personal thoughts and speculations. An outsider's perspective comprises of a discourse perspective that helps me to see the discourses and the norms that contribute to the constructions of the children that are being created at my preschool. I even reflect over my own practical knowledge that has helpt me to learn from my own and other peoples experience, so I can develop my abilities and act wisely in different situations.

Santos, Antonio Marcus dos January 2017 (has links)
Ontologia. Poiesis. Techne. Praxis. Phronesis. / Abstract: ABSTRACT The main theme of this thesis is Heidegger's confrontation with the Aristotelian philosophy in the 1920's, more specifically the appropriation of the practical philosophy, carried out during the elaboration of the project of the fundamental ontology developed in Being and Time. The underlying problem is the relationship between life and ontology, and the central working hypothesis is that what is at stake for Heidegger during this period is a destruction of the pair rtxv'l - TTOÍ'lOIÇ, considered determinative for the history of ontology and whose destruction is carried out simultaneously with the radicalization of TTpãÇIÇ, the distinctive way of being of the existing human being. From this hypothesis, we set out a brief overview of the historic-philosophical context in which Heidegger turns to Aristotle, then we analyze Heidegger's interpretations, and finally we investigate the role these interpretations play in Being and Time's fundamental ontology. Keywords: Heidegger. Aristotle. Hermeneutic phenomenology. Ontology. Poiesis. Techne. Praxis. Phronesis.

Abstract: This work constitutes a study and translation of parts 1-6 of Perì hermeneías, of Aristotle. These parts, according to specialized critics form a "language section", in which the philosopher presents the outlines of a theory of language, which serves as the basis for development of a study about the assertions, types of sentences to which it can assign a value of truth or falsehood. It was therefore examine such shares from a linguistic perspective and not strictly philosophical, in order to emphasize the relevance of the treaty to the study of language, especially those concerned with the question of meaning, including in this discussion the debate about arbitrariness of linguistic sign and the language conventionalism.

As reported by the title, the theme of this thesis is developed from the analysis of the treatment given to the imputation of impiety in the dramatic context of the Plato's dialogue Euthyphro. Before the same, the central hypothesis, we will try to build and consolidate throughout the text, attributes the existence, in the dramatic context of this dialogue, of a refutation of the assignment of impiety directed to Socrates in verses of the Clouds. Contrast to this, complementing the gaps present in the discourse of defense that Plato attributed to Socrates, assumes the status of an extension apologetics / Doutorado / Filosofia / Doutor em Filosofia

[en] ENDS AND MEANS: A DISCUSSION CONCERNING PHRONESIS IN THE NICOMACHEAN ETHICS / [pt] FINS E MEIOS: UMA DISCUSSÃO SOBRE A PHRONESIS NA ÉTICA NICOMAQUÉIA

ROGER MICHAEL MILLER SILVA 11 April 2005 (has links)
[en] The following work strives to ponder on the nature and object of phronesis in Aristotle`s Nicomachean Ethics, using as a starting point the renowned debate staged in France around forty years ago: in human actions, phronesis is essentially the knowledge of the means necessary to attain the desired end, or is it on the other hand the knowledge of these ends? In first place the antecedents of this discussion are presented, concerning the debate on the concept of phronesis between Aristotelians and Neokantians in Germany towards the end of the XIXth century and its influences on the interpretations of Jaeger. Following that, in the second chapter, the debate among the French authors is presented. In order to illustrate opposing viewpoints, two exemplary postures are taken into consideration, those of Pierre Aubenque, for whom phronesis is essentially the knowledge of means, and that of Fr. René-Antoine Gauthier, for whom it is essentially the knowledge of the ends. Finally, taking into consideration that the debate is still open even after all arguments are presented, a follow-up is done taking into consideration some of the main proposals of the recent decades in order to have an idea of how the debate has evolved to its present state and with the intention of solving oppositions.

Aristotelovo řešení Zenónových paradoxů / Aristotle's solution of Zeno's paradoxes

Tříska, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
(in English): Aim of present paper is to reconstruct and compare Aristotle's solution of Zeno's paradoxes of motion from Books VI and VIII of his Physics. Aristotle claims that there is difference between these two solutions. There is difference in charakter of question which is posed by Zeno. In book VI. the question is concerning the possibility of traversing infinite distance in finite time. In book VIII. this question is asked about time itself. It is here, in book VIII, where we should find the right solution to paradoxes of motion. In this paper I shall look into the nature of this difference between solution in book six and in book VIII, and I will find out if there si some consquence for Aristotle's conception of magnitudes.

Teurnberg, Alexander January 2020 (has links)

Rydell, Jasmine January 2020 (has links)
