Steikūnienė, Raimonda 15 June 2005 (has links)
Life-long learning determines the possibilities of learning and improving the needs of all the citizens of the country. Health care personnel who have to improve their professional qualification are becoming active participants of this process. While associating to a common European nursing space, nurses are facing new requirements and this influences their professional competence. This is the reason why it is very important to find out how nurses improve their professional qualification considering the notions of life-long learning. The aim of this report is to reveal the features of nurses’ professional qualification in the context of life-long learning. According to the analysis of legal aspects of the development of nurses’ professional qualification, the professional development of this group of specialists is regulated by the state. It is as well formalized and inflexible. Incomplete national attitude towards adult learning suggests that the distribution of financial resources in health care system is not properly settled as far as the improvement of nurses’ qualification is concerned. It also causes restrictions of learning accessibility in social, financial and economical aspects. The data of the research has highlighted the salient problems that nurses face with. Among others, one is that the existing system of professional improvement is not adjusted to the implementation of notions of life-long learning. Nurses do not feel secure because of permanent changes in... [to full text]

IV klasės moksleivių gebėjimo mokytis ryšys su mokymosi motyvacija / The Relation between Learning Ability and Learning Motivation in 4th - Graders

Preidienė, Gintautė 23 June 2005 (has links)
The subject of this MA thesis is “The Relation between Learning Ability and Learning Motivation in 4th – Graders”. The thesis analyses an urgent educational issue of developing learning competence in primary school, in particular learning ability and learning motivation. Learning motivation is perceived here as a set of inner (knowledge prestige, communication, self – expression, future) and outer (learning for personal benefits, out of compulsion or fear) stimuli. The thesis discusses the structure of the ability to learn as that to raise learning objectives, to plan the learning process and to act purposefully in order to achieve the learning objectives (the ability to relate the new learning material or experience to what is know; the ability to clarify misconceptions and correct them accordingly; the ability to select and apply appropriate strategies; the ability to use sources of information; the ability to cope with learning difficulties; the ability to cooperate). With a view to measuring the 4th – graders‘ level of learning ability and expression of learning motivation, a questionnaire and a situational method were constructed. The reliability of the answers was tested at interviews and with the help of a questionnaire in which some teachers evaluated their pupils’ ability to learn. The computer programmes Excel and SPSS were used to process and correlate the data about the pupils’ learning ability and learning motivation. 305 4th – graders from Vilnius schools... [to full text]

Sinchroninių ir asinchroninių informacinių komunikacinių technologijų lyginamoji analizė medicinos specialistų tęstinio mokymo Lietuvoje procese / Synchronous and Asynchronous information communication technologies comparative analysis in process of continuous medical education in Lithuania

Gedgaudienė, Dina 16 August 2007 (has links)
Distance learning center was established in Kaunas medical university trying to solve the problems of large distribution of students and lack of time, that could be spent on learning,. When distance education was started, new problems were encountered: weak computer knowledge of students and teachers; low activity in video lectures and performance of tasks; permanent lateness with performing task or taking tests; not enough of communication between participants of studies. Synchronous and Asynchronous information communication technologies comparative analyses in aspect of continuous medical distance education showed, that asynchronous communication technologies are more suitable and preferable for the process of studying. Most frequently and most effectively used asynchronous communication technology is e-mail. Trying to solve problems occurring in the stage of presenting distance courses and thereby to ensure the quality of courses, well-timed information system for students was constructed. Main function of the system is to inform students about the forthcoming events – tests, videoconferences, group discussions and etc., by sending e-mail messages. The investigation shows that well-timed information system for students is effective, so, most probably, it will be used in future distance courses in Kaunas medical university.

Prialgauskienė, Giedrė 10 July 2008 (has links)
This work researches the training of computer graphics using ICT (information communication technologies), analyzes problems of presentation and assimilation of learning resource materials, considers methods of active learning, completes analysis of interactivity levels of electronic tutorial aids, discusses simulation (modeling) technique and it’s customization possibilities in computer graphics lessons. Here is designed model for learning tasks construction from created elementary components (flash movies), presented examples illustrating model stages, analyzed technologies of eventual completion scenario for created tasks, described realization of composite elements and presented user manual. Also, the work summarizes results of experimental appliance of created tutorial in learning process.
