Previous issue date: 2013-04-11 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / The research that led to this dissertation adopted a set of scenic/ideological aspects inherent to the productions of the Culture Industry as its object of research. The intellectual output of Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer underscored the approaches on this subject, since it provides the same set of scenic/ideological features to be explored because, according to the authors, scenes produced by the culture industry are linked to the dominant ideology, since they act in favor of maintaining the status quo. The first objective was the definition this set of features inherent to the scene produced by the culture industry, through the exploration of literature produced by Adorno and Horkheimer, so it was possible to define a set composed of nine elements: Construction of characters as characteristic types; Stereotypes; Naturalization of Stereotyped language; Simplistic playwriting; Reuse dramatic formula; Love and sexuality as themes of plots; Utilization of tragic element; Objetive representation; Approximation of fiction and reality. The second goal was the analysis of scene produced by the culture industry nowadays, so that it was possible to verify if any scenic/ideological aspects indicated by Adorno and Horkheimer in the mid-twentieth century were present among the productions from this beginning of the twenty-first century. Through the analysis of three soap operas produced in Brazil in 2012, it was found that the nine scenic/ideological aspects as indicated by Adorno and Horkheimer appeared in the observed productions.

Previous issue date: 2014-03-19 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / The composition of ichthyofauna discarded by trawling shrimping, their reproductive status and feeding ecology were studied on the beaches of Basin Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Fish were collected monthly in the year of 2012. During biometrics, portions of the digestive tract and of gonads were removed, fixed in formalin 10% and Bouin, respectively, for be submitted to histological processing by the techniques of hematoxylin-eosin. Stomach content analyzes were performed using the methods of Frequency of Occurrence and Volumetric and was calculated the repletion index. Throughout the study period were recorded a total of 49 species. The fish assemblages differed between sections monitoring, with the highest abundance, biomass and indices of richness and diversity in sections B, D and C. Already the excerpt A, showed higher values for dominance and equitability. In the cluster analysis according to the faunal similarity was observed the formation of three groups: group I formed by excerpts B and D, group II by excerpt C and group III formed by excerpt A. The assessment of reproductive stage revealed that the fish assemblages discarded by trawling are composed mainly of juveniles. Regarding the feeding ecology, the species Larimus breviceps, Menticirrhus littoralis and Pomadasys corvinaeformis characterized as carnivorous with tendency to carcinofagia. Already Conodon nobilis characterized as carnivorous with tendency to piscivory, but all proved generalist-opportunistic with increase of feeding activity during drought. The dendrogram of grouping of the species developed based on the food items used shows the formation of four groups: Group I consists of species that feed mainly of "gastropod" and "sediment"; group II of "teleost fish"; the group III of "crustacea" and group IV of "echinodermata" and "bivalve". The anatomical and histological characteristics of the digestive tract were consistent with the dietary habits of the analyzed species. In this context, the Costa Branca of Rio Grande do Norte can be considered a feeding site and recruitment for juveniles, which, opportunistically, utilize resources associated with the background / A composi??o da ictiofauna descartada pelo arrasto camaroeiro, sua fase reprodutiva e ecologia alimentar foram estudadas nas praias da Bacia Potiguar, Brasil.

Previous issue date: 2012-02-13 / The approach that undertakes this work revolves around the emergence of iconic structures on reflecting about the meaning of different methods of image representation through which the contemporaneity reveals itself. At baseline, three aspects are considered looking for an analytical ontology of the act of representation and imagery: the transition of representation in the oral culture of societies for writing, from these to typography, and finally the creation of a representation device. Resorted to, therefore, the argument by some genealogy reference points that technological instances such as writing, printing and photography, the evolution of this process, correspond, in itself, a consequent shift technique, for each representation precedent. In the area of the image, the most salient aspect of this change in foward process is the emergence of hyper-reality: the instances of hyper-realistic representation. In the Western context, the 'simulation of the world' - essential idea of mimesis is the work of an autonomous an conventional system. It should be noted, then the fact that under unreflective of the post-industrial societies, the mass-media image is coating with natural or fake code including - according to Baudrillard - tends to replace the real world in the "perpetuation of a large chain of simulacra." Hence in modern times, in the postindustrial society, during the crisis of the representation regimen and perception, centered in the referent. In this limit, new settings are established by aesthetic representations of imagery in contemporary culture: establishing spaces of simulation [Jean Baudrillard] the spectacle [Guy Debord] and hypermodernity [Gilles Lipovetsky] in which they operate. In these assemblages, saps the emergence of Hyper-reality Representation Instances - as seen in this study aesthetic events to configure itineraries of a new sensibility. It is the nature of this practice sign-iconic, ingrained in the creation of current artistic expression, which this research engaged in peering: the hyper-realistic setting, taking empirical support central to contemporary imagery production, diverse formats of analog representation.

Previous issue date: 2008-03-27 / The speeches about the body in interface with the technology, that fulfill the contemporary discussions, have been a stage of innumerable ethical, epistemological, aesthetic and ontological reflections. These happened bodies of the biotechnological scene also invade the dance, making several possible dialogues, making old concepts instable, opening way to revealing explorations and bringing with it implications and reflections. In this context, this research has as objective to discuss relations between body and technology in the dance; to understand the aesthetic configurations of the monster in the dance as possibility to question the body; to establish relations between the monstrous body in the dance and the conceptions of body in the Physical Education. We believe to be able to contribute for the reflection in the field of the Physical Education, since the work visualizes to extend the field of the discussions on aesthetic body and, as
well as evidencing dialogues between different areas of the knowledge, as the Art and the Physical Education. From the point of view of the method, the work follows orientation of the Phenomenology for an aesthetic image
appreciation of the videos in the choreographies In'perfeito and Viol?ncia of Cena 11, Dance Group that has marked new aesthetic configurations in the brazilian dance. Thus, we took for us the reflections on the "significant scenes" proposed by Bicudo (2000), to appreciate the dance of Cena 11. We emphasize that, after the identification of the Significant Scenes, it was necessary to approach these scenes from close senses, from which we
detach the appearance, the space and the gesture. We evidence that, the bodies revealed by the group Cena 11, show an aesthetic that it interlaces the beauty, the ugly and the grotesque. An aesthetic of the unharmony, capable to transgress the oppositions, dialoguing with multiple antagonisms and that it amplifies the apollonian aesthetic linear rules, so predominant in the history of the dance and the Physical Education. We identify some indicatives that take us to the problematizations on an affective and anarchic body, when questioning the tyranny of the perfect corporality; the naturalization of the pain; the closed gesture in a finished and unique
grammar; the standardization of feminine and masculine roles and the negation of the feeling. From these indicatives, we discuss the aesthetic of
the deformed bodies of Cena 11, approaching it of the conceptions of body in the Physical Education, sometimes criticizing the rationalists and naturalistic views, sometimes dialoguing with more recent perspectives studied by
researchers of this area of knowledge, which point to a reflection on the body under the optics of the sensible / Os discursos sobre o corpo em interface com a tecnologia, que permeiam as discuss?es contempor?neas, t?m sido palco de in?meras reflex?es ?ticas, epistemol?gicas, est?ticas e ontol?gicas. Esses corpos advindos do cen?rio biotecnol?gico tamb?m invadem a dan?a,
possibilitando di?logos diversos, desestabilizando velhos conceitos, abrindo caminho a explora??es desveladoras e trazendo consigo implica??es e reflex?es.
apreciar a dan?a do Cena 11.
femininos e masculinos e a nega??o do sentir.

Previous issue date: 2011-02-22 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / Talking about body and beauty seems fairly familiar to physical
education. We understand that the body language in the area provides many meanings over the appearance, beauty and aesthetics, thus requiring the need of criticism and the need to interrogate her to realize how physical education has been re-signified. For this purpose, considering the multiplicity
of meanings that surround the body and beauty, we discussed the implications that this brings to the area of Physical Education, analyzing the conception of body and beauty in the studies in this area, at the masters level, from some questions: What conceptions of body and beauty have been
discussed in the studies of physical education at the masters level? What is the relationship between the meanings of body and beauty products analyzed and identified in the models of beauty outlined in Physical Education? We understand the importance of this research and its contribution to the
epistemological analysis of existing studies. And, mainly because there is a lack of studies that discuss these productions. For construction of this text and for our reflections, we rely on thoughts like David Le Breton, Claude Levi- Strauss, Michel Foucault, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Ana Marcia Silva, Carmen
Smith, Isabel Mendes, Karenin Porpino Nobrega and flounder. The present study is characterized as a qualitative research, and content analysis proposed by Laurence Bardin (1977) for data processing. The corpus was composed of eight essays in the area of Physical Education, published in the CAPES Theses Database for the period 2004 to 2008, selected from the
subject and body beauty. The initial reading allowed us to select meaningful units and guide our discussions on two main themes, which make up the two chapters of the work. In the first chapter, entitled Body, beauty and culture, as evidenced understandings of body, nature and culture that are present in
the work is considered. In the second chapter, Standard Body
Transformations and beauty, we present the concepts of body and beauty found in the dissertation, focusing on the mutability of representations of the models of beauty in body singularities in the relations of power-knowledge and the importance given the body in society, especially with regard to physical education professionals. We have thus found that, considering the
dissertations analyzed, the understanding of body and beauty has been resignified, when dealing with other aesthetic conceptions that consider the uniqueness expressed in the human body and the culture of which the individual belongs / Falar em corpo e beleza parece algo bastante familiar ? Educa??o F?sica.
A leitura flutuante permitiunos

Previous issue date: 2014-02-27 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient?fico e Tecnol?gico / Kindergarten teachers training gains the spotlight with the passing of Law number
9.394/96 (Guidelines and Basis Law) that defines this segment as the initial step of
basic education, with pedagogical function. In this spectrum, the discussion about
teacher training unravels to ensure social quality to education as well as the teacher s
specificities towards child singularities. Adding to that, the growing propagation of
Pedagogy in an undergraduate level, given that such course has been continually
transformed by the National Curriculum Guidelines for Pedagogy (2006), highlighting
the addition of curriculum components that are specific to upbringing. The complex
debate circa kindergarten teachers training has advancements and hardships that need to
be unveiled in order to improve both formation and social quality of education in the 0-
5 years old range. This investigation inserts itself in said context and aims to analyze
which knowledge, specific to kindergarten teaching are constructed, according to
undergraduate trainees, in Pedagogy s supervised internship. The study was conducted
alongside the discipline: Supervised Internship in Child Education ministered by the
Advanced Campus of Rio Grande do Norte s State University s in the municipality of
Patu-RN (CAP-UERN-Patu) and was conducted through 2012 by accompanying four
undergraduate interns. We first assumed that the development of teaching knowledge is
a complex process of appropriation of cultural-social practices and is symbolically
mediated by interactions that occur in the formation context, and the supervised
internship can be understood as a space for the articulation and enlargement of
theoretical and practical knowledge, directly related to the specificities of child
education. The theoretical-methodological foundation was based upon the historiccultural
approach of L. S. Vygotsky and M. Bakhtin s dialogism on human sciences
research, as well as his postulates on learning and developmental processes, conceived
as both essentially social and discursive. The investigation approached the principles of
the qualitative perspective and to the construction and analysis of data, involved
documental analysis and, specially, semi-structured interviews, both individual and
collective, whose fundamental premise was the production-comprehension of meanings
in a dialogical perspective. The participants texts/speeches produced a synthesis that
points to the occurrence, within the supervised internship at CAP/UERN, of
internalization/appropriation processes and, as such, of formulation of meanings that are
pertinent to child education: child, childhood, kindergarten and teacher signification and
this stage s specific teaching knowledge. It stood out that the internship, alongside other
curriculum components, is, in fact, one of the primeval formation environment for the
teachers, in which the interns interact with their colleagues, supervisor professor,
collaborator professor, and of course, the children to construct their erudition. Such
interactions allow the undergraduate interns to develop attitudes and procedures to
reflect on what they know, what they ve done and what they can achieve. We have
concluded that the undergraduate internship can constitute itself as an articulatorconsolidator
environment in the future teacher s formation process and, since well
oriented, can provide the effective initiation, not only to the practice, but to the praxis as
a movement of non dissociability between theory and practice / A forma??o de professores para a Educa??o Infantil ganha visibilidade com a
Nesse cen?rio, a
componentes curriculares obrigat?rios espec?ficos ? Educa??o Infantil.
A base
A abordagem
documentos e, especialmente, entrevistas semiestruturadas (individuais e coletivas) cuja
outros componentes curriculares vivenciados no Curso.

toda a narrativa desse livro ?mpar no panorama liter?rio brasileiro.
produ??es regionais e sociais da ?poca. Sua tem?tica aborda a rela??o do homem com a vida;
o presente e o passado; o amor e as frustra??es e o her?i em busca de si. Belmiro Borba,
This master?s thesis presents an analytical reading of Cyro dos Anjos (1906-1994)?s novel O
amanuense Belmiro (1937) and its main objective is to analyze the way some aspects of
melancholy, together with the notion of memory, diary writing as well as time permeate all the
narrative of this unique book in the Brazilian literary scenario. Anjos? novel is an atypical
work in the fiction of the 1930s as it is considered a dissonant voice compared to the regional
and social productions of the time it was published. Among other themes, the book depicts the
relationship of man with life; the present and the past; love and frustrations and the hero in
search of itself. Belmiro Borba, character-narrator, is a sentimental man, often handicapped by
his inner life. For this matter, Borba decides to write a book in order to register his stories,
memories, feelings, meditations and illusions. From this perspective, this research aims to
deal with issues related to the aesthetics of melancholy, especially its relationship with the
creative process, which belongs to Borba?s attempt to write literature. Throughout our
academic research, we used the work of Aristotle (1998), Lambotte (2000), Benjamin (2011)
and Kristeva (1989) to articulate relevant issues of melancholy; Halbwachs (2006) on the
concept of memory, among other theorists who were essential to the completion of this study.

The purpose of this dissertation is to analyse the dramaturgic work of the Bulgarian author Elias Canetti, composed by the plays The Wedding, Comedy of Vanity and Their Days are Numbered, seeking to comprehend how the contemporary critic theories act on his trilogy, making a dialogue with theoretical references which may justify its approaching to the postmodernism. In this perspective, the theories by Jean-Fran?ois Lyotard, Fredric Jameson and J?rgen Habermas contribute for a better comprehension of the postmodernity phenomenon. Undertaking Canetti?s notes and theatre with the philosophical concepts of Adorno?s negative aesthetics, we realise there is a space to reflect upon the theories which befell, like Foucault?s power relations in Micro-physics of Power and the discourses of resistance and deterritorialisation developed by Deleuze and Guattari in A Thousand Plateau and Anti-Oedipus. Even though Canetti?s plays were written between 1932 and 1956, all of them show a strong critic against modernism, and their characteristics did not help their recognition by the critics, which resulted in a rediscovery of Canetti?s plays after the author won the Nobel Prize in 1981.

This work presents an analysis of the behavior of some algorithms usually available in stereo
correspondence literature, with full HD images (1920x1080 pixels) to establish, within the
precision dilemma versus runtime applications which these methods can be better used. The
images are obtained by a system composed of a stereo camera coupled to a computer via a capture
board. The OpenCV library is used for computer vision operations and processing images
involved. The algorithms discussed are an overall method of search for matching blocks with
the Sum of the Absolute Value of the difference (Sum of Absolute Differences - SAD), a global
technique based on cutting energy graph cuts, and a so-called matching technique semi -global.
The criteria for analysis are processing time, the consumption of heap memory and the mean
absolute error of disparity maps generated.
