Tendo como objeto de estudo a construção e as leituras das Xicas da Silva representadas no filme de 1976, de Cacá Diegues, e no livro homônimo de João Felício dos Santos, do mesmo ano, esta pesquisa investiga quem teria sido a personagem Chica da Silva histórica real e suas formas de tradução por meio de diferentes sistemas de linguagem desde o século XIX. O trabalho faz uma análise aprofundada dos conceitos de representação, real, realidade, construto e fato históricos, tradução intersemiótica e imaginário para entender o que constitui, ou, segundo alguns críticos de 1976, deveria constituir as representações ficcionais de Chica da Silva, e como foi/é produzido um imaginário a seu respeito. Afinal, existe realmente algo que possa ser inequivocamente entendido como Chica da Silva, a verdadeira? Nesse percurso, são feitas análises imanentes das obras de 1976 e análises do contexto dos enunciados no qual seus autores estavam inseridos e com o qual a forma-conteúdo do filme e livro Xica da Silva dialoga. As análises buscam o que está entre o que as obras mostram e o que os autores e críticos disseram que elas mostram, para entender tais obras não só como conteúdos intradiegéticos, mas também como enunciados resultados de mediações históricas, culturais e sociais, e como mobilizadoras, ou mesmo catalizadoras, de debates sociais, raciais e de gênero em um período histórico específico da cultura e política nacionais. Mais do que questionar a legitimidade das reinvindicações que apontam para a exigência de uma acuidade mimética para a representação de personagens históricas como Chica da Silva (mulher e negra), a preocupação da pesquisa é entender por que e como tais exigências ocorrem. Afinal, o que está em jogo nas formas de dar a ver e de ver personagens mulheres e negras nas ficções cinematográficas, nas literárias brasileiras e, consequentemente, na realidade vivida por nós? / By studying the construction and the possible readings of the Xicas da Silva characters represented in the 1976\'s film by Cacá Diegues and in the 1976\'s book by João Felício dos Santos, this research investigates who would have been the historical/real Chica da Silva and her translations through different language systems since the 19th century. This research tries to understand what constitutes, or, according to some 1976\'s critics, should constitute Chica da Silva\'s fictional representations. There are also immanent analysis of the referred artistic productions and recovers the context in which their authors dialogically stated the form-content of the 1976\'s film and book. In that sense, this research looks at what is in-between the very productions and sayings of the authors and critics. The objective is to understand the Xicas da Silva not only as intradiegetical content, but as statements resulting from mediations and mobilizing, or even catalyzing, social, racial and gender debates in a specific historical period of our national culture and politics, which still resonates today. More than questioning negative critiques claiming for the legitimacy of mimetic acuity for the representation of historical personages like Chica da Silva (woman and black) in fictional productions, this research regards why and how such complaints emerge. Moreover, it questions what is at stake in the ways of presenting and seeing black women characters in Brazilian cinematographic and literary fictions. Why do critics identified with particular social groups challenge and claim for the positive (re)creation of fictional representations of historical black characters/bodies and, specifically, of historical black women? How is it related to the construction of an imaginary (the myth) in Chica da Silva and, consequently, with the way to represent, imagine and currently see the bodies of black women?

A capacidade inventiva é parte vital do ser humano na constante recriação de sua existência. Cada nova idéia alimenta a imaginação e o tempo é reciclado. É vista a noção do novo por meio de uma nova imagem, necessária para revigorar a expectativa de vida em cada época na sociedade. O produto da invenção e artifício é a nova mensagem como forma de comunicação, alimentando o imaginário de seus diferentes públicos. Dessa forma, nesta dissertação analisa-se a atual conjuntura social nos aspectos produtivos da industria cultural, com atenção às novas demandas por meio de novos produtos, que possibilitam a constante recriação de novas mensagens. Elas são consequência da revolução tecnológica, da convergência dos meios de comunicacão e de sua interferência nos habitos e atitudes dos indivíduos, por estarem ao alcance, a qualquer tempo para informar e ser informado. / The capacity inventive is vital part of the human being in the constant criation of its existence. Each new idea feeds the imagination and the time is recycled. The notion of the new by means of a new image, necessary is seen to revigorate the life expectancy at each time in the society. The product of the invention and artifice is the new message as communication form, feeding the imaginary one of its different public. Of this form, in this dissertation it is analyzed current social conjuncture in the productive aspects of the cultural industry, with attention to the new demands by means of new products, that make possible the constant recriação of new messages. They are consequence of the technological revolution, the convergence of the ways of communication and its interference in the custums and attitudes them individuals, for being to the reach, to any time to inform and to be informed.

Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo a análise de textos e imagens extraídos dos meios de comunicação e produção escrita de alunos aprendizes de espanhol, e as diferentes representações que aparecem nesses documentos acerca da América Latina e da Espanha. / This paper has texts and images analysis taken from communication media and texts written by Spanish learners, and different representation about Latin America and Spain that appears on them as study object.

O presente trabalho apresenta a perspectiva do sobrenatural, representado em narrativas japonesas que tratam do estranho e do mistério, pertencentes ao gênero literário kaidan. Nesse contexto, esta dissertação descreverá o imaginário popular japonês e determinados tipos de seres sobrenaturais, com a proposta de melhor compreender a relação do povo nipônico com este tema. Posteriormente a esta descrição, será abordada a formação da literatura kaidan e suas características gerais. Para melhor compreender o conteúdo das narrativas pertencentes a este gênero, serão utilizados os textos da obra Kwaidan, de Lafcadio Hearn. Desta forma, far-se-á necessária a apresentação de um breve histórico do referido autor, sua produção literária e sua relação com a cultura japonesa. Por fim, realizaremos uma análise das narrativas do Kwaidan, no intento de desvendar a forma como os seres sobrenaturais atuam alegoricamente no imaginário japonês. Além disso, este estudo analítico também nos permitirá elucidar os diversos mecanismos das estruturas textuais que conferem a algumas das narrativas o aspecto fantástico e assustador. / This paper presents the perspective of the supernatural, represented in Japanese narratives that discuss what is strange things and mysterious, which belong to the kaidan literary genre. In this context, this paper will describe the Japanese popular imagination and certain types of supernatural beings, in order to better understand the relation between the Japanese people and this theme. Following this description, it will be discussed the formation of kaidan literature and its general characteristics. To better understand the content of the narratives that belong to this genre, texts of the work Kwaidan, of Lafcadio Hearn, will be used. Thus, it is necessary to present a brief history of that author, his literary production and its relation to Japanese culture. Finally, we will conduct an analysis of the narratives of Kwaidan, in an attempt to unravel how the supernatural beings act allegorically in the Japanese imagination. Additionally, this analytical study will also allow us to elucidate the various mechanisms of the textual structures used in the narratives which give them the fantastic and frightful imprint.

Esta pesquisa lança seu olhar para os fundamentos de um fenômeno que caminha com a humanidade: o Velejar. Mesmo com o desenvolvimento de tantas tecnologias que propiciam tipos de navegação variados, o uso da vela continua atual, seja como transporte, como brincadeira ou como esporte. O fenômeno, entretanto, extrapola sua utilidade: nitidamente velejar, para os velejadores, é mais do que atravessar o meio líquido utilizando a força do vento. Os velejadores - aqui sujeitos da experiência - dão significados à prática e fazem dela algo para a qual vale a pena retornar. Para investigar estes significados e sentidos, esta pesquisa busca colocar em palavras o que há de especial na prática de velejar a partir da perspectiva dos próprios velejadores. É por meio de uma ampla pesquisa de campo - onde se convive, veleja e dialoga com velejadores esportistas, velejadores pescadores artesanais e velejadores expedicionistas que se identificam elementos recorrentes e significativos para os que a praticam. Junto a esses elementos, foram agregadas as próprias experiências da autora, velejadora esportista. Com registro de imagens, entrevistas e descrições do vivido, as análises ancoram-se no arcabouço da fenomenologia da imaginação material de Gaston Bachelard, desvelando os gestos, os fascínios, as provocações e as diferentes sensibilidades presentes nessa modalidade tão antiga quanto atual. Competição e contemplação, aventura e passeio, tradição e modernidade, ritos iniciáticos e formativos, elementos materiais e suas provocações, entre outros, unem-se no propósito de desvendar uma prática que se revela complexa e inteira e que tem alto poder de aderência e manutenção presentes nas ressonâncias simbólicas. O sonho de habitar as águas e dominar o vento, de maneira íntima e próxima a partir de uma vela e um casco, é deste modo, constantemente atualizado no corpo dos velejadores / This research eyes on the foundations of a phenomenon that goes forward together with humanity: the Sailing. Despite the technology development, which provides many navigation forms, the sailing remains actual, whether as transportation, as a hobby or as a sport. The Sailing extrapolates its utility. For the sailor\'s point of view, the sailing is clearly more than just crossing a liquid environment using the wind force. The sailors, who is the experience subject, assign meaning to the practice of sailing and make it something that is worth returning to. To investigate these meanings and senses, this research seeks to put into words what is special in the practice of sailing from the sailors perspective. Through an extensive field research, where I could live, practice and interact with other sailing athletes, artisanal fishermen, and expeditionist sailors, I identified recurring and significant elements for those who practice the Sailing. Along with these elements, my experience as a sailor has also been added to this research. Using pictures, interviews, and descriptions of different experiences, the analysis of this work is anchored in the framework of Gaston Bachelard\'s phenomenology of material imagination, revealing from the reports, the gestures, the fascinations, the provocations, and the different sensibilities present in this modality which is as ancient as it is actual. Competition and contemplation, adventure and tour, tradition and modernity, initiatory and formative rites, material elements and their provocations, among others, unite in the purpose of unveiling a practice that turns out to be complex. Contrastando com a raridade dos vestígios materiais de supostas maquetes de arquitetos medievais há uma profusão de representações artísticas (mosaicos, afrescos e esculturas) que retratam figuras (Papas, Reis, Príncipes e Santos) portando modelos de arquitetura, particularmente igrejas. Esta pesquisa, apoiada pela FAPESP, concentra-se sobre este motivo artístico da figura portando o modelo de arquitetura relacionando-o à arquitetura real, à representação tridimensional da arquitetura e ao imaginário medieval acerca da criação arquitetônica. Para tanto esta pesquisa identifica, descreve, analisa e interpreta um corpus iconográfico das representações mais significativas do motivo artístico em foco, produzidas entre o séc. VI e o séc. XV na Europa e na Ásia Menor. O estudo iconográfico deste motivo, considerando suas características plásticas, suas possíveis relações formais, e seus aspectos simbólicos, pretende contribuir assim para uma maior compreensão de suas relações com o pensamento acerca da criação do projeto, entre o mundo romano e a Renascença. / In contrast with the material vestiges scarcity of the supposed medieval architects three-dimensional models, there is a profusion of artistic representations (mosaics, frescos and sculptures) that show figures (Popes, Kings, Princes and Saints) holding architectural models, particularly churches. This research, supported by FAPESP, concentrates on the artistic motif of the figure holding the architectural model and its relations with real architecture, architectural three-dimensional representation and the medieval imaginary on architectural creation. Methodological procedure identifies, describes, analyzes and interpretates an iconographic corpus of the most significant representations of the artistic motif in focus produced in Europe and Asia Minor, between the fall of the Occidental Roman Empire (AD V) and the Italian Quatrocento. The iconographic study of this motif, considering its plastic characteristics, its possible formal relations, and its symbolic meanings, aims to contribute for a better understanding of its relations with the architectural design thought, between the Roman world and the Renaissance.

Junto com ele vinham também novos modos de relacionamento entre automóvel e público, até então habituado aos carros estrangeiros, preferencialmente norte-americanos. Havia todo um imaginário em torno do automóvel que vinha desde o início do século XX, fortalecido após a Segunda Guerra Mundial.. Já no governo de Getúlio Vargas, entre 1951 e 1954, começava a se desenhar o esboço da indústria automobilística no Brasil com a F.N.M. – Fabrica Nacional de Motores, mas foi a partir do Programa de Metas do governo Juscelino Kubitschek, de 1955 a 1960 que teve início efetivamente a produção de automóveis no país. Os fatores que teriam determinado o êxito do carro nacional transitariam entre a própria história do automóvel até então e a estética predominante no período, conveniências empresariais na escolha dos modelos a serem produzidos e as circunstâncias políticas e econômicas, além da capacidade da mídia especializada em automóvel em criar e divulgar opiniões favoráveis ao carro nacional junto ao público brasileiro. / In 1956, the DKW Vemag car has brought to the daily life of Brazilian cities a new reality: the national car. Along with it came also new modes of relationship between car and public, until so accustomed to foreign cars, preferably American. There was a whole imaginary around the car that came from the early twentieth century, and that has been strengthened after the Second World War. In the government of Getulio Vargas, between 1951 and 1954, had began the drawing of the outline of the automotive industry in Brazil with the FNM - Fabrica Nacional de Motores, but it was from the Program Goals of Juscelino Kubitschek (1955 to 1960) that effectively had began the producing of cars in the country. The factors that would have determined the success of the national car passed through the history of the car until then, the predominant aesthetics in the period, business conveniences in the choice of models to be produced and the political and economic circumstances, besides the capacities of specialized media to create and disseminate favorable rewiews from the national car to the Brazilian public.

Tendo por objetivo compreender e refletir sobre a importância da escola do campo e suas especificidades, para uma comunidade do campo. Utilizar-se-á pesquisa bibliográfica envolvendo algumas obras representativas das diferentes épocas, como anais de congressos, anuários estatísticos e a legislação pertinente. O aporte teórico será a Antropologia do Imaginário, que nos permite ter um olhar sensível e capaz de refletir as possibilidades do aproveitamento da cultura do campo na escola. Observa-se que as salas multisseriadas, nem sempre representam a melhor alternativa metodológica para a comunidade. No entanto são implantadas, como forma de atender às populações rurais. Estas salas possibilitam uma socialização, quer na transmissão de conhecimentos, na veiculação das crenças e valores, nas interações de seus sujeitos, nas relações sociais com a comunidade e nas rotinas, que se manifestam na amplitude do espaço escolar. No movimento da análise, foi possível perceber que os alunos encontram condições de ritualizar diferenças e semelhanças. Habilidade relacionada recursivamente com manifestações, que se expressam no cotidiano da escola, por meio da dimensão simbólica da cultura de seu grupo de origem. A relação entre os estudantes e os demais indivíduos, que compõem o contexto escolar, está intrinsecamente ligada ao espaço afetivo-estrutural e aos vários papéis, que eles exercem na instituição. / This research proposes – to investigate about the the routine in a do campo school with a multi-leveled class in a town in an specific area of Minas Gerais (Zona da Mata). It aims to comprehend and to reflect about the importance of do campo schools and its specificities to a do campo community. It will be used bibliographic research involving some important works of different times, congress proceedings, statistical yearbooks and the relevant legislation. The theoretical contribution will be the anthropology of the imaginary, that allows us to have a sensitive eye and let us able to reflect the possibilities of exploitation of do campo culture in school. It is observed that the multi-leveled classes not always represent the best methodological alternative to the community, but, as a way of meeting the do campo population, they are implemented. However, they allows socialization in the transmission of knowledge, in the placement of beliefs and values, and also in the interaction of its subjects, in the social relation with the community and in the routines that manifest the range of the school environment. In the analysis movement it was possible to notice that the students are able to ritualize similarities and differences – that relate recursively manifestations in the school routine, of the symbolic dimension of the culture of its source group. It is established among them and people of school relations that depend on the affective-structural space and on the several roles that such space perform in the institution.

Pretende-se mostrar como tais discursos, proferidos entre os anos de 1925 e 1928, compilados em sua obra "Ensaios de Psicanálise", encontravam-se em consonância com os ideais eugênicos em circulação no país durante as primeiras décadas do século XX. Atrelados às pretensões que moviam os interesses higienistas e da eugenia brasileira, as análises histórico-documentais indicam que os discursos psicanalíticos procuraram, sob o prisma da educação moral e sexual, construir mecanismos eficientes relativos à regeneração da raça nacional, intervindo diretamente sobre a sexualidade e a moral da população brasileira, sobretudo, das crianças, por representarem a ideia de um futuro promissor à nação. Nesta investida, as crianças e a sexualidade infantil recém-descoberta pelos estudos freudianos passaram a ser objetos de intervenção, correção e normalização, pois, concebidas sexualmente como perigosas poderiam arruinar o projeto de regeneração racial encabeçado pela medicina e pelo Estado republicano. Os textos de J. P. Porto-Carrero apresentam o imaginário da sexualidade infantil brasileira na segunda década do século XX, desenvolvido a partir dos estudos de Sigmund Freud sobre as teorias da sexualidade infantil / Abstract: The main scope of this thesis aims from the theoretical framework of the philosopher Michel Foucault, in particular, concepts of "biopolitics" and "discipline" studying the speeches of one of the forerunners of the psychoanalytic movement in Brazil, the psychiatrist Julio Pires Porto-Carrero. It is intended to show how such speeches delivered between the years 1925 and 1928, compiled in his "Trials of Psychoanalysis", were in line with the eugenics movement in the country during the first decades of the twentieth century. Tied to claims that moved hygienists and Brazilian eugenics interests, historical and documentary analyzes indicate that psychoanalytic discourses aimed, through the perspective of moral and sexual education, build effective mechanisms for the regeneration of the national race, intervening directly on sexuality and moral of the population, especially children, because they represent the idea of a promising future to the nation. With this step, children and the infantile sexuality newly discovered by freudian studies have been objects of intervention, correction and standardization therefore conceived as dangerous sexually it could ruin the project of racial regeneration led by the medicine and the Republican State. Essa vontade toca, de imediato, a problemática (epistemológica) da constituição da cidade enquanto objeto de conhecimento. Problemática igualmente política, visto que esse saber funciona e circula numa sociedade dividida em que os sentidos estão em contínuo processo de litígio. Para tanto, analisaremos um corpus difuso, composto por diferentes manifestações do saber urban(ístic)o: a) o discurso técnico, b) o discurso jurídico-administrativo e c) o discurso da liderança comunitária. Nosso objetivo é analisar o funcionamento da tensão que se estabelece na textualização desse espaço e avaliar de que modo ela situa a diferença entre o saber ordinário e o saber autorizado dos especialistas (falas da ciência, do jurídico e da administração pública). A partir da análise dessas diferenças cabe também avaliar em que medida essas falas se entrelaçam na memória discursiva e se assentam em já-ditos da "mesma" ordem / Abstract: We aim, in this work, to understand the modes of textualization of urban organization by the ways it is formulated in different areas of urban(istic) knowledge. This question touch immediately, the (epistemologic) problem of the constitution of the city as an object of knowledge. Problem that's also political, since this knowledge works and circulates in a divided society in wich the meanings are in constant litigation. We'll analyse a diffuse corpus, composed by different manifestations of urban(istic) knowledge: a) the technical discourse; b) legal and administrative discourse; c) the discourse of community leadership. Our purpose is to analyse the functioning of the tension that settles in the textualization of this space and asses show it situates the difference between ordinary knowledge and the authorized (specialized) knowledge.
