O presente trabalho apresenta a exposição de longa-duração do Memorial Minas Gerais Vale, analisando-a a partir de sua narrativa expográfica, cuja ênfase recai sobre a noção de mineiridade. A partir da interlocução de agentes envolvidos na curadoria da exposição, ressaltamos os pontos que reiteram o tema da mineiridade, sendo ela baseada sobretudo no discurso modernista e em bens patrimoniais, porém, reapropriada e ressignificada na concepção desse museu e de sua exposição inaugural. As opções curatoriais também se relacionam diretamente a interesses do governo estadual de Minas Gerais, bem como aos da empresa patrocinadora e mantenedora do museu, a Vale S.A. O Memorial se apresenta como \"museu de experiência\", utilizando uma linguagem expográfica contemporânea, com amplo uso de mídias digitais. A análise, portanto, de seus aspectos sensoriais e de atração de público é fundamental para se compreender os conteúdos em exposição e sua forma celebrativa de lidar restritivamente com a diversidade cultural mineira. Por fim, no terceiro capitulo, procuramos articular os conceitos definidos nos dois primeiros capítulos aplicando-os na trajetória do PSDB nacional e mineiro. / This work aims to analyze how the “mineiridade” as an ideology is applied, in the concrete case of the Party of Brazilian Social Democracy (Partido da Social Democracia Brasileira - PSDB), so as to create cohesion among the dominant class; legitimize its dominance; and mainly, situate the “mineira” wing in the party, in the party electoral system and in the rest of the country. This theme is related to the struggle among the party fractions for control over the uncertainty zones, the distribution of collective and selective incentives, and the position as dominant coalition. The first chapter discusses ideology and “mineiridade”, seeking to conceptualize them to answer our questions. The second chapter embraces the party theory and organization theory in order to provide us with the tools for the analysis of struggles among the party fractions and the action of the PSDB-MG. Finally, the third chapter seeks to articulate the concepts defined in the first two chapters applying them to the trajectory of national PSDB and its “mineira” wing.

Para tanto, foram analisados os Diários da Assembleia e os Diários do Executivo, respectivamente os anais do Poder Legislativo mineiro e do governo estadual bem como entrevistas e memórias de parlamentares do partido situados no recorte temporal estabelecido. Esta proposta foi motivada pela indicação bibliográfica que aponta a centralidade de Minas Gerais na história do partido e pelas referências cruzadas que indicavam a participação de udenistas na realização do Golpe Civil-Militar de 1964 e no fato deste movimento ter sido deflagrado em Minas Gerais. Finalizada a pesquisa, foi possível constatar as relações entre o udenismo e a mineiridade, que teria lhe servido como espécie de vetor e fator de identificação para um setor dentro do partido, denominado de liberais históricos; estabelecer as inter-relações entre o processo histórico nacional e regional a partir de seus sujeitos e suas práticas políticas; e entender o envolvimento de Minas, e, especialmente, dos udenistas, no contexto político imediatamente anterior e posterior ao Golpe Civil-Militar de 1964. / The present work intends to understand the process of constitution and consolidation of the udenism as a political culture through Minas Gerais, its political subjects and the historical processes experienced in the country and in this state of the federation between the years of 1943 and 1966, milestones representing respectively the year of the publication os the Manifesto dos Mineiros and of the application of the Institutional Act no. 2 that put an end to the political parties, among them the União Democrática Nacional (UDN). For this purpose, the Diaries of the Assembly and the Executive Diaries were analyzed, respectively the annals of the Legislative Power of Minas Gerais and of the state government, as well as interviews and memoirs of the party's parliamentarians located within the established time frame. This proposal was motivated by the bibliographical indication that points to the centrality of Minas Gerais in the history of the party and by the cross references that indicated the participation of udenistas in the accomplishment of the Civil-Military Coup of 1964 and in the fact that this movement was set off in Minas Gerais. After the research, it was possible to verify the relations between the udenism and the mineirity, which would have served as a kind of vector and identification factor for a sector within the party, called “historical liberals”; to establish the interrelations between the national and regional historical process from its subjects and their political practices; and to understand the involvement of Minas, and especially the udenistas, in the political context immediately before and after the Civil-Military Coup of 1964.

Pretende-se saber se a identidade narrada no telejornal é influenciada pela tradição, em especial da literatura, ou se é uma identidade que desqualifica o caráter regional, privilegiando o perfil padronizado do cidadão global, ou ainda, numa terceira possibilidade, se o jornalismo da emissora pública opta pela construção de uma identidade que incorpora a diversidade de Minas, o estado que tem o maior número de municípios no Brasil. / The aim of this research is to investigate how people from Minas Gerais are represented among the news, interviews and notes in Jornal Minas, from Rede Minas de Televisao, which is a state broadcasting. It is intended to know whether the identity narrated by the news is influenced by tradition, especially of literature, or whether it is an identity that disqualifies the regional character in a way that prioritizes the global cicizen's patterned profile, or, in a third possibility, if state broadcasting's journalism chooses such an identity conception that considers all the diversity of Minas, which is the state with more towns and cities among the others in Brazil.

O presente estudo busca examinar a cinematografia de Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, e o papel decisivo da memória como seu maior impulso criativo, sobretudo a partir da inspiração fundamental de Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, metáfora paterna e intelectual, a nortear sua trajetória de cineasta. Por meio da análise de sua cinematografia mineira, formada pelos filmes O padre e a moça (1965), Os inconfidentes (1972) e O Aleijadinho (1978), investigaremos os elementos formadores de toda sua obra, sempre calcada na observação da cultura e da literatura brasileiras, para uma tradução da identidade nacional, capaz de projetar Minas Gerais, não só como microcosmo do país, mas também como cenário universal. / This research aims to explore the cinematography of Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, and the decisive function of the memory like his main creative impulse, especially from the major inspiration of Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, paternal and intellectual metaphor, orientating his trajectory of filmmaker. O noticiário de rede estadual, que pretende dar conta das principais notícias mineiras logo pela manhã, veicula as reportagens produzidas pelas afiliadas do estado e pela emissora da capital. Minas Gerais é o estado brasileiro com o maior número de municípios no país. No total, são 853 cidades e, portanto, a maior área limítrofe criada dentro de uma Unidade Federativa. Partindo-se das premissas de que o estado é multifacetado, plural e constituído de inúmeras identidades culturais, e de que as reportagens enviadas pelas afiliadas são construídas sob a ótica regional, a pesquisa procura, por meio da Análise de Conteúdo (AC), classificar e analisar as identidades mineiras que mais têm destaque no telejornalismo regional da TV Globo Minas, líder de audiência no estado. O trabalho utiliza, ainda, o suporte teórico dos Estudos Culturais, para explicar o telejornalismo como mediador cultural e matriz de produção de sentidos na sociedade midiatizada na qual vivemos contemporaneamente. / The present study‟s aim is to investigate what the identities from the state of Minas Gerais represented in the Bom Dia Minas TV journalism, Globo Minas‟ matutinal TV journalism, are. The state news, that intends to handle all the main news from the state of Minas Gerais early in the morning, transmits the news produced by the state affiliates and by the capital‟s station. Minas Gerais is the Brazilian state that has the biggest number of municipalities. There is a total of 853 cities making the state the biggest territorial area within a federative unit. Taking into account the fact that the state is divided, it is plural and it is constituted of a variety of cultural identities, and that the news sent by the affiliates are built up under a regional point of view, this research intends, through Content Analysis, classify and analyze the State of Minas‟ identities which stand out the most in the Globo Minas regional TV journalism, audience leader in the state. Yet, this work makes use of the Cultural Studies theoretical support to explain the TV journalism as cultural mediator and as sense production matrix in the mediated society in which we live nowadays.

Com essa finalidade, são analisadas matérias do caderno de Turismo do jornal Estado de Minas que abordam a região mineira e a mineiridade através do projeto turístico Estrada Real, realizado pela Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Minas Gerais (FIEMG) em parceria com o Governo de Minas e considerado, atualmente, o de maior potencial do Brasil pelo Ministério do Turismo. No decorrer deste caminho investigativo, inspirado na proposta metodológica de Laurence Bardin, acerca da análise de conteúdo, são suscitadas reflexões sobre a atividade turística em sua perspectiva comunicacional e intercultural; as possíveis implicações do jornalismo turístico na mediação da viagem e nas dinâmicas, relações e práticas culturais que se estabelecem no lugar divulgado, especialmente entre os turistas e a comunidade local. A construção/difusão de mitos, imaginários e estereótipos de Minas e seus conterrâneos também integra este percurso inferencial que contribui, ainda, para a compreensão da capacidade do referido segmento jornalístico de construir a memória pública ou de representá-la para o público e de seu papel na reordenação das percepções de espaço e tempo; realidades e imagens; lugares e não-lugares; experiências e subjetividades. / In the context of a world in movement by the constant development of transportation and communication technologies, this research aims at contributing to the comprehension of identity representations in media contents produced to foment tourism, especially the ones with journalistic characteristics. With such goal, reports and articles from the Tourism section of Estado de Minas (a newspaper from Minas Gerais, Brazil) that cover the region of Minas and mineirity (neologism referring to being from Minas Gerais, or feeling as a part of the culture of this State) will be analyzed through the Estrada Real project (also known in English as King’s Road Project, or Royal Road/Path Project), which is carried out by the Chamber of Industries from the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG, acronym in Portuguese) in partnership with the State Government and considered the tourist project with the biggest potential in Brazil by the Ministry of Tourism. Through such investigative process, inspired by the methodological proposal by Laurence Bardin, regarding content analysis, reflexions on the tourist activity and its communicational and intercultural perspectives will be analyzed; the possible implications of tourist journalism in journey mediation and its dynamics, cultural and practice relations that are established in the advertised area, especially between tourists and the local community. The construction/diffusion of myths, imaginariness and stereotypes of Minas and its inhabitants also comprises this inferential path that contributes, also, to the comprehension of the capacity of the mentioned journalistic segment of constructing public memory or representing it to the public and its role in reorganizing the perceptions of time and space; reality and images; places and non-places; experiences and subjectivities.

Starting from this work, we investigate some aspects related to the decadence of the rural oligarchies of Minas Gerais, from the decade of 1930 and on. The path followed by the rural oligarchies, from the apogee to the decay of the economical, political and social systems is explained considering some objective and subjective aspects that have permeated the relation between these subjects. Consequently, we search, through the novel, an interpretation of the Brazilian History in a determinate period. At the same time, through the characters, we settle an interpretation by the point of view of a more psychological analysis. We started by the supposition that from a fictional narrative it is possible to establish nexus with the social reality. We pick up from the novel typologies of world configuration that we connect with the reality of the man and his existence with the author’s intention of representing characters that have searched, through the inner sounding, recreate the environment of instability where they lived. These characters are seen as a representation of a universality at the same time that the writer, in an intentional way or not, transpose to his work his vision of the elements that have composed the social reality / Nesta dissertação buscamos estabelecer uma relação entre História e Literatura por intermédio do romance psicológico Crônica da casa assassinada (1959), do escritor mineiro Lúcio Cardoso. A partir dessa obra investigamos alguns aspectos relacionados à decadência das oligarquias rurais mineiras no período pós década de 1930. O caminho percorrido pelas oligarquias rurais, do apogeu ao declínio do sistema econômico, político e social em que estavam inseridas neste contexto é aqui esmiuçado na tentativa de darmos conta de alguns aspectos objetivos e subjetivos que permearam as relações destes sujeitos. Portanto, buscamos, através do romance, fazer uma interpretação da História do Brasil em um determinado período e ao mesmo tempo, através das personagens, estabelecer uma interpretação do ponto de vista de uma análise mais psicológica das relações representadas na obra. Partimos do suposto de que de uma narrativa ficcional é possível estabelecermos nexos com a realidade social. Do romance retiramos tipologias de configuração de mundo com as quais concatenamos a realidade do homem e sua existência no mundo com a intenção subjetiva do autor ao retratar em sua obra personagens que buscavam, através da sondagem íntima, recriar o ambiente de instabilidade em que viviam. As personagens ali são vistas por nós como a representação de uma universalidade na medida em que o escritor, de forma intencional ou não, transpôs para sua obra sua visão dos elementos que compunham a realidade social da qual fez parte.
