Rozdíl v pedagogické komunikaci v praxi učitele základní školy a vychovatele školní družiny / The Difference between the Pedagogic Communication in use of a Primary School Teacher and an After-school Educator

LAVIČKOVÁ, Jana January 2009 (has links)
The dissertation is focused to the field of communication and it is divided up to three sections, which concur in order. The first section is aimed to delimitation, definiton, functions and types of social communication. The second section is applied to the pedagogic communication in a primary school background, and there are stated, as well as in the first section, definitions, functions and verbal and nonverbal communication. There are new chapters added to this section, which subsequently apply to the goal, subject, rules of pedagogic communication and the time aspect, that together with organizing forms and methods of teaching has the influence on the pedagogic communication. The last section is concentrated on the pedagogic communication in a after school daycare background, the content structure copies the previous section. For further specification, there is a chapter added in this section, that is focused to after school daycare as a place for education and cultivation in the time of not school teaching. The goal of this dissertation was the comparison of differences in pedagogic communication in a primary school and in a after-school daycare.

Skammen och de ickeverbala signalerna vid inlärningssituationer

Roos, EwaMaria January 2017 (has links)
Shame and nonverbal communication in learning processes Shame, dishonour, disgrace. However described, it is often paralysing and diminishing. It is crippling and destructive. But is it possible to develop through shame? This research paper takes an interdisciplinary look at this subject. As an aesthetic voice and speech pedagogue I have observed how shame has affected communication between my students and myself in situations where shame could and/or has occurred. One particular vocational event invoked a powerful sense of shame within me and launched a process which led to the investigation of two pedagogical situations where I detected and prevented shame in the learning process. These situations revealed that communication beyond words were crucial for the learning process to continue in a constructive manner. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of nonverbal communication, the wordless cues of paralanguage, in body language and voice in the learning process, increasing the awareness of the students and pedagogues to this type of communication. In this quest for a shame free workspace, I found that changes in my pedagogy had the ability to prevent shame for both my students and myself, whilst doing so shaping an improved learning environment. A phenomenological approach by way of Nathanson, Cullberg Weston, Dreyfus & Dreyfus along with an understanding of the different mechanisms of shame and its influence on nonverbal interaction has led to the realisation of the preventive measures that can be taken to avoid shame and guilt in learning situations. It is possible to develop through shame, it enabled a change within myself as a pedagogue.

Cuando el silencio habla. Laconismo, contención y amnesia en El caballo de Turín (2011) de Béla Tarr, In the mood for love (2000) de Wong Kar-Wai y la mujer sin cabeza (2008), de Lucrecia Martel

Ramos-Taira, Amanda-Libertad January 2017 (has links)

Interpretační hodnota obrazové informace a její význam při tvorbě grafických modelů a infografik / Image interpretation value and its purpose in creation of scientific figures and infographics

Phung, Hyu Nghia January 2012 (has links)
Graphic figures and various types of infographics have become an essential part of the scientific papers, business presentations and study materials. Although, authors of these documents often lack the knowledge of basic rules and principles of graphic design and learn how to create figures by trial and error. Literature addressing the issues of effective verbal (presentation skills) and non-verbal (principles of scientific writing) is available and accessible. Though literature addressing the issues of scientific figure design and general visual design are very few, sometimes non existent, despite the fact that images, figures and various charts are one of the most effective mediums for information sharing. This lack of material knowledge is detrimental to the quality of works of managers, professors and researchers. This thesis attempts to fill in this gap and motivate readers to further development and research of the issue. The thesis addresses the issue of figures from its core, those being the basic principles of image perception and interpretation. Building on concepts of theorists like Peirce, Saussure and Eco the thesis will then define the meaning and purpose of "Image Interpretation Value". Selected principles of figure construction and interpretation will be introduced. These principles will then be further analyzed and applied on the level of business and scientific figures. Each chapter will include various graphic figures and practical examples to enhance further understanding of the issue. The primary purpose and goal of this thesis is to create an easy-to-follow set of instructions and suggestions on how to design effective and intelligible figures to be used in the fields of business communication, scientific research and academic teaching.

Correlação entre a oralidade de crianças com distúrbios do espectro do autismo e o nível de estresse de seus pais / Correlation between verbal communication of children with autism spectrum disorders and the level stress of their parents

Leticia Segeren 20 March 2015 (has links)
It impairs the development throughout life and has great variability in symptoms and intensity in the various areas that define the diagnosis. Persons with autism need special care during all life and therefore the caretakers need attention too. Parental stress in families with children with autism is significantly higher than the observed in families with children with other disorders or with typical development. Communication is specially affected in autism, is one of parent\'s first concerns and may increase stress. This study asked if parents of non-verbal children with autism have higher levels of stress than parents of verbal children with autism. The purpose of this study was to assess the stress levels of parents of children with autism and to verify its association with the abscess of verbal communication. Participants were parents of 75 children with autism and 100 parents with no complaints about their children development. They were divided in 3 groups: Group 1 comprised by parents by children with autism and no verbal communication; Group 2 comprised by parents by verbal children with autism and Group 3 with parents with no complaints about their children development. All participants responded to a socio-demographic questionnaire, to a stress level questionnaire (proposed by the author) and the questionnaire about quality of life. Results show that most parents from the three groups presented medium level of stress and that there was no significant difference between parents of children with autism with and without verbal communication. When parents of children with autism were compared with parents from the control group a significant difference was observed, with more parents of children with autism with high levels of stress. Associations between the stress level and the quality of life were also observed, showing that when higher stress levels were reported, lower quality of life was verified. It can be concluded that the stress level of parents of children with autism not influenced by their lack of verbal communication

Das nonverbale Verhalten des ecuadorianischen Präsidenten Rafael Correa - Eine Analyse mit dem Schwerpunkt Geschlecht und soziale Hierarchie: Das nonverbale Verhalten des ecuadorianischen Präsidenten Rafael Correa - Eine Analyse mit dem Schwerpunkt Geschlecht und soziale Hierarchie

Müller, Olga 25 November 2014 (has links)

Merz, Andreas 14 October 2010 (has links)
The following thesis highlights intercultural misunderstandings that can occur due to different semantic values of emblems, a gesture generally defined as having an accepted verbal translation in a certain culture or community. To illustrate such problems, the semantic meanings of sixteen emblems in Colombia and Germany are analyzed. Misunderstandings caused by the use of these emblems are then explained from a communicative point of view, using Austin’s speech-act theory.

Emotional communication in instant messaging

Pirzadeh, Afarin 29 October 2015 (has links)
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) / Emotional communication is fundamental to everyday interaction. How well emotions are communicated is crucial to interpersonal relationships and individual well-being. Emotional communication in instant messaging (IM), however, can be challenging because of the absence of visual and aural nonverbal behaviors. Despite the growing number of technologically-focused solutions for supporting emotional communication in IM, limited design research has been done to study the actual users’ behaviors in communicating their emotion in IM and strategies they use to adapt emotional communication in this medium, with the purpose of establishing design solutions to support users' emotional communication. Connecting several bodies of HCI, design, and communication literature in the context of IM, this dissertation critically examines how users communicate emotion in IM and accordingly establishes user-centered multi-touch gesture based design solutions to support emotional communication in this medium. Understanding how users communicate their emotion in IM, the design issues, and corresponding design solutions help researchers and designers to support the user's emotional needs, resulting in the improvement of emotional communication strategies in IM.
