Vida. Presented by the Rede Globo network between 2013 and 2014, this narrative gave visibility, in a meaningful way, to paradoxes and difficulties faced by subjects with non-normative gender and/or sexual identities. The theoretical framework of this research follows the Cultural Studies, specifically regarding the links between culture and media, along with a a discussion on intersectionality and identity and within queer theory and gender and sexuality studies. For a better understanding of the historical context in which Amor ? Vida was presented, it was performed a broad review of the 126 LGBT characters that featured 62 of Rede Globo's telenovelas from 1970 to 2013. A mapping of such characters in the other fiction TV series contemporary to Amor ? Vida was also performed. The analysis was constructed based on Douglas Kellner's (2001) multiperspectival approach, along with Richard Johnson's (2006) circuits of culture, understanding that a narrative's text cannot be isolated from a reflection on the meanings that are made available for social circulation. The analysis of Amor ? Vida was twofold: in relation to the trajectory of homosexuality in Western societies, to the gay and lesbian and queer studies, and to the participation of LGBT characters in Rede Globo's telenovelas; and in context with the other TV fiction products presented by this network in the same period of the studied telenovela. The results made clear the complexity and controversies of the representation of homosexuality in the studied telenovela. Amor ? Vida reinforces patterns of LGBT representation, with a majority of male, white, middle-class homosexual characters, with heteronormative gender performativity and wishing for social integration through a normalization of their sexuality. At the same time, Amor ? Vida was innovative for presenting, for the first time in a Rede Globo's telenovela, a love triangle between three men, for the presence of an artificial insemination process conducted by a family of homosexual, and for making it visible that gender and sexuality oppressions, when crossed by other social markers such as race, social class and generation, alters the social perception of the subjects. This narrative proved to be a place for multiple construction of meanings about these topics. A an?lise de Amor ?

The combination formed by the loss of credibility of the public authorities in the management of collective life and the diffused social representations regarding the fear of violence can lead to a generalized feeling of insecurity, resulting in political alienation, spatial segregation, and the utilization of private resources for self-protection and self-restraint. What can be seen, therefore, is the lack of structure of the urban society by the reduction of spontaneous traffic in urban spaces and the possibilities of the encounter with the difference that, ultimately, enhances the risk scales. Therefore, through a case study in the Floresta neighborhood, in Porto Alegre/RS, in which proposes the tension of the relation between space, sociability, and safety, questioning the local social dynamics in its potential capability of producing cracks in the homogeneous and hegemonic tissue of the individual isolation, formulating an emancipatory rapture with the urban experience grounded in fear and a redefinition of social-spatial experience. Focus area: Penal System and Violence Research line: Violence, Crime, and Public Safety / Cidades s?o cen?rios m?veis onde se desenrolam fen?menos sociais complexos.

The choice of the respective chronicles is due to the fact, that the two used the same object in his chronicles, King D. John's Avis dinasty, for this reason, the job uses the comparative analysis. Thus, different representations are within the same company, these are divided into social groups, according to the perpective of the investigated chronicler. Thus, the possible social representations will be studied, in order to find a consensus in the different groups formed in society, based on this, the work is an interdisciplinary reading with Social Psychology, each representation posses a core to be investigated and identified. The work also dialgue with the theory of interdependence between the individual and society Norbert Elias, as selected representations are linked to this interdependent relationship of individual/society. To build the objectives presented were studied, two medieval chronicles, which were aimed at memory production of Avis, they are: the Cr?nica de El-Rei D. Jo?o I, written by Fern?o Lopes and A Cr?nica da Tomada de Ceuta, of Eannes Gomes Zurara. The method used in the chronicles is the content analysis, Laurence Bardin, for the selected material presents itself, representatively, in the universe study proposed for the dissertation, for related with the interdependence between the individual and society / Esta disserta??o tem por objetivo analisar algumas representa??es encontradas no discurso cron?stico de Fern?o Lopes e Gomes Eannes de Zurara.

The Representations allow us to interpret, understand, explain and thus classify information, events and people. In this sense, this study aimed to analyze how social representations of the actors of the intinerant traders who operate in Ponta Negra/RN can be used as an element for tourism planning. To achieve the desired goals, we conducted a qualitative study, from a descriptive study, using methods of data collection the research literature, the technique of free association of words and the questionnaire, applied with 90 intinerant traders who work in Ponta Negra/RN beach. As tools of data analysis were used to analyze literature, and software EVOC and SPHINX. This research has revealed the predominance of people in itinerant male, between 18 and 28 years, with incomplete primary education, no contributors of Previd?ncia Social and working seven days a week. The core elements of representations brings that explain that their knowledge is guided by collectively shared knowledge in the culture of tourism, which is seen as something that brings economics benefits (money) to the society, from the travel and entertainment. The plan represents the forward thinking, based on development plans that seek improvements and organization. The structure and operation of tourism planning in Natal/RN, there were no representation of intinerant traders. It is concluded that understanding the needs of itinerant traders provides grants to developing strategies for the development of tourism. This is achieved from its inclusion in tourism planning, since it enables tourism managers to understand how they are capturing, interpreting and acting on their next reality, since these representations are fundamental in forming opinions and the establishment of individual attitudes and collective. Thus, it is an important theory to be used to subsidize social research with individuals living reality and local needs, but which is the margin of decision-making processes of economic in the Brazil / A Teoria das Representa??es Sociais fornece subs?dios para analisar cientificamente o que se chama de senso comum, sugerindo que seja dada credibilidade ao pensamento do indiv?duo, a partir da atribui??o de l?gica ao mesmo.

It was notorious the nurse s difficult to settle in only one place for a long length of time. Probably due to health care in indigenous zones happens from a cultural confront. This confront materialize because both sides are imbued with their own culture: in one hand the nurse professional with its scientific knownledgment on the other the indigenous with their rituals and peculiars habits. In this context nurses should delineate and negotiate the reality through symbolic representations of life, and then make questions on the new reality. In this way, this study set out with the aim of apprehends the nurse s social representations of transcultural care in indigenous health. This knownledgment is important to avoid possible conflicts, shocks, difficulties and health care incongruence within this context. The data collect was carried out on a range of non structured interview guided by a pre-elaborated questionnaire with four questions and a hand drawing related to nurse s health care in the indigenous health. This research had a sample of 17 nurses from the Indigenous Sanitary District of Manaus in the Amazon State. To interpret data we used the Discourse of the Collective Subject, which findings were presented in three chapters: characterization of participants, discussion on themes prevalent in discourse; social representation of nursing care through infographics. The analysis revealed that the care in the indigenous health is challenging because the native people imbued in its world are perceived and processed according to the nurse s cultural lens, leading to materialize of some strangeness and adaptation difficulties, especially in the first contacts. The Social Representation on nursing practice, in many cases, is projected and contrived on the basis of scattered believes and on perception derived from common sense. The findings shows that representions are essential to mitigating the initial strangeness and help nurses to better situate themselves in the new universe. The nurse s practice in the indigenous health care should merge into each other. From the Social Representations is possible to perceive that assimilation, also comprehension on indigenous health system and its traditional knowledge are important to developing strategies to improve access and quality of care for indigenous peoples. After analysis the nurse s discourses and drawings, it is possible to represent the nurse s practice in the indigenous health as anthropophagism, since nurses should literally consuming its patients culture, digesting it and seize it as means to provide culturally congruent care.

Though, for besides a biological phase of the woman's life, the climacteric is an object of the social world that is rendered to different apprehensions and readings on the symbolic plan. In this study, it was looked for to know the social representations, that health' professionals acting in the programs of the climacteric and the users of those same services, build in respect of that purpose. Besides, it tried to be seen that the social hegemonic representation that guides the actions and the agents' attitudes in the practices of attendance and education for the woman's health in the climacteric in the extent of the investigated institutions. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaire, focal discussion group and direct observation. The observation field was constituted by the three institutions that develop the attendance and education for the woman's health in the climacteric phase, in the city of Natal. A gender perspective was also been adopted, sought to evidence as the cognitive structures that assure the masculine power reproduction, pronounce to the social representations to build a sense to the investigated purpose. It was verified that the social representations of the climacteric are built mainly around the semantic fields old age and disease. For the health professionals, the meaning of the simbol old age carries the marks of the indentified system of the middle class employed, but also, of the feminine habitus that guides them to have an ethical and aesthetic apprehension of their own body. The climacteric, in that way, is seen as a difficult phase , a painful event that scares . For the women attended by those professionals, the sign old age means feeling emphasis from the biological climacteric aspects, in other words, the sensations and signs that forbid the body to accomplish certain linked basic life functions. Along the whole course of this thesis, it was verified that the climacteric is a complex phenomenon that needs to be faced as such. While cultural phenomenon, it is urgent to look for means to help to combat the centrality of the professional representations that face the climacteric as old age and disease, particularly in the field of health / Climat?rio ? uma palavra que serve para nomear o per?odo da vida humana que vai dos 40 anos, aproximadamente, at? os 65 anos de idade.

Historically, from the institutionalization of education, the key role to pursue that activity has been attributed to the teacher, who is required to adapt to the demands of each historical conjuncture. Currently, according to the new paradigmatic requirements, the teacher must possess various skills in order to handle the complex and challenging act of teaching. Assuming the existence of a gap between what the State and the scientific discourse recommend the teacher act upon in the classroom, a decision was made to identify the configuration and structure of social representation in the act of teaching, put forth by elementary school teachers in the public schools of Natal, RN, Brazil. Therefore, the research relied on the theoretical model developed by Domingos Sobrinho (1998, 2000, 2003), which articulates the praxeology of Pierre Bourdieu with the theory of social representations of Serge Moscovici (1978). It was intended to demonstrate how teachers habitus, in its due historical context, directs the construction of social representations in the act of teaching which guides the actions of the teacher, particularly in the classroom context. At the methodological level, the following methods and techniques were used: bibliographic and documentary review in order to identify the scientific discourse on the subject matter and the official parameters of educational regulation and the act of teaching; the Procedure of Multiple Classifications PMC in order to capture the configuration and structure of the representational content in focus, the direct observation of the classroom to identify in actual terms the social representation as "guide to action" as the theory preaches. From the standpoint of the analysis, quantitative data were analysed through Multidimensional Scaling MDS, covering in this study the Multidimensional Scale Analysis MSA and Smallest Space Analysis SSA; and non-parametric statiscal techniques. Additional data of qualitative value had to undergo categorical content analysis. It was then concluded that the teachers investigated guided themselves by social representation, the product of collectively constructed and shared assumptions about the act of teaching, forming a synthesis of different sources of information and knowledge acquirement, involving elements of common sense, religious habitus, pedagogic models considered outdated, the agencies responsible for teacher training and the hegemonic discourse about education today / Ensinar ? uma atividade inerente ? condi??o humana.

We've tried in this work to pinpoint the main discussions which take place in the area of the teaching formation, based in the views of modern writers. We ve also tried, through the Social Representations Theory, to reveal and learn how the agents directly involved in this process realize and react, that is, the teachers who cope with the beginning stages of the Fundamental Teaching in the public school system in Natal/RN, taking into account that, in many cases, such formation demands the rethinking of the very formation policies. We've also adopted the concepts of field and educational field introduced by the praxiology of Pierre Bourdieu. It s been considered a fundamental theoretical reference which enables the understanding of social phenomena, both in macro and micro viewpoints. Thus, we do not neglect the whole, and particularly, the nuances of each context or specific situation. In the methodological track we ve used for data gathering the Free Word Association Test, and the Semi-Structured Interview, and also secondary sources for the characterization of the research spectre. Data treatment and analysis were performed with the help of the following software: SPSS Statistical Package for Social Sciences and EVOC; and the method of Content Category Analysis. The combination of the concepts and techniques mentioned above was necessary to cope with the qualitative and quantitative aspects, in our attempt to offer a wider range of contributions and outcome validations, which have shown, among other less explicit elements, the existence of a social representation of the teaching formation such as: knowledge theoretical and practical; a necessity imposed by the symbolical conflicts of the social field; capacitation and compromisse. We acknowledge the relevance of the thoughts discussed here, though aware that this is just one of the possible approaches to the theme / A forma??o docente tem sido alvo de diversas mudan?as, sendo delineada de acordo com in?meros formatos e modelos atrav?s de tempos e espa?os diversificados, compondo assim, estatutos e propostas curriculares diferentes em diferentes n?veis de qualifica??o.

This study sought to identify the social representations by residents of this neighborhood about UPP. We used the theoretical framework of Social Psychology, specifically the theory of social representations. Focusing mainly on the structural approach. To support the discussions about Public Safety and the UPP support in the field of Sociology and Law. The sample consisted of 106 subjects. To collect the data we used a questionnaire with three free tasks about inducers terms: UPP, Pacification and UPP in the Media. Associated with 29 questions arranged in a Likert scale. The evocations were analyzed with the help of the software EVOC. For data analysis issues Likert scale we use SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) v. 20.0. It performed descriptive analysis and mean comparison tests. Thus, it was possible to verify that the representation made by the residents of the Cidade de Deus to a negative overall assessment about UPP, emerged elements as: corrupt, police, security, shot, violence. However, they recognize changes have occurred in the territory after-pacification. Also carry out comparisons between the subjects of the sample and found significant differences. Regarding the comparison between men and women, the test Student's t showed a significant difference between them on the issue 18: ?the UPP police officers are prepared to act in my place of residence?. In which men obtained average 2,97 and women 2,37. The result of the test Student's t was 2,518 and the significance level was 0,01. Chose to emphasize the speech of the residents of the City of God this research sought to contribute to the expansion of reflections on the Pacifying Police Unit, from the perspective of subjects who have your daily crossed for pacification policy.
