From the different concepts that characterizes the identity processes on subjects who perform gender transformation (transvestites, transsexuals and female impersonators), the justification for studying the drag character is observed as a means to understand matters that are important when you take such a position. Therefore, there is a need for a linkage between the various concepts responsible for this definition, in addition to considering the historical and cultural process responsible for the creation of such categories, identities and stereotypes among these individuals. In this sense it will be possible to carry out a critical analysis on the different social loads present in each representation, and understand what is at stake in the attribution of classifications and terminologies that are applied to different expressions of metamorphosis. This ethnography considers the debate from a field research conducted at LGBT social establishments and other performance spaces of these people, verifying their dynamics in these places and investigating relationships between performers, personas and characters and also backstage scene in which they participate / O texto apresenta uma discuss?o sobre corpo e g?nero na experi?ncia de drag queens na cidade de Natal (RN). In order to reveal, analyze and establish relevant dialogues with Queer Theory, it‟s important, above all, make a misreading guided in the discursive contextuality of postmodern literature. In order to justify and clarify the many issues that arises in the emblematic relationships of characters that are present in the text and in the cultural context, historically and socially. It also highlights the utterance comparative value identified in the works, given the peculiarities of each one of them, not being possible to classify them as `figures of language` with which the comparison can be cited as an example. In this case, they serve to inspire the ways that may lead us to a better understanding of the parallels created between a world of the binary value and adjectives suggested by society and so well portrayed in the ideas and writings of Caio Fernando Abreu / Nesta disserta??o, analisa-se sob uma perspectiva comparatista a rela??o entre os contos: A Dama da noite‟ e O rapaz mais triste do mundo‟, de Caio Fernando Abreu, com o intuito de revelar, analisar, estabelecer di?logos s?gnicos com a Queer Theory. Buscou-se, acima de tudo, fazer uma desleitura pautada na contextualidade discursiva da literatura p?s-moderna. Objetivou-se, assim, justificar e esclarecer as in?meras quest?es que surgem nas rela??es emblem?ticas de personagens que est?o presentes no texto e no contexto cultural, hist?rico e social. Destaca-se, ainda, que os enunciados de valor comparativo identificados nas obras, dadas ?s singularidades de cada uma delas, n?o possibilitam classific?-las, apenas, como figuras de ret?rica‟ das quais a compara??o pode ser citada como exemplo. Considerando que tanto a música quanto a escola contribuem para a constituição de nossas identidades, este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar os discursos de licenciandos/as em música acerca da diversidade de gênero e sexualidade, em suas relações com a música. Os objetivos específicos propostos foram: identificar/visibilizar quais significados sobre gênero e sexualidade estão sendo compartilhados, naturalizados e legitimados; identificar/visibilizar como esses significados circulam; e identificar/visibilizar por quem esses significados são compartilhados. Adotando uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizei como ferramenta para a produção do material empírico a entrevista semiestruturada com licenciandos/as em música de quatro instituições de ensino superior de Curitiba-PR. Para a realização da análise do material empírico produzido na relação com o/as participantes, foram utilizadas algumas estratégias da teoria fundamentada nos dados. No que se refere à perspectiva analítica, recorri às formulações dos estudos feministas e da teoria queer. A investigação realizada permitiu dizer que os sentidos partilhados pelo/as licenciando/as trouxeram divergentes formas de significação da diversidade de gênero e sexualidade, as quais posicionam os sujeitos em distintos lugares. Reconhecer essas divergentes formas de significação é assumir que nas redes de representação a “realidade” terá muitas versões e que os processos de conhecer são construídos social e culturalmente. Os saberes que compõem os sistemas de significação do/as licenciado/as sobre a diversidade de gênero e sexualidade não foram reconhecidos como tendo sido constituídos em seus cursos de licenciatura em música. O silêncio sobre a articulação música/gênero/sexualidade nos espaços acadêmicos atravessou a percepção do/as licenciando/as em música. Esse silêncio configura um discurso que invisibiliza outros modos de ser para além da matriz hétero-cis-normativa. / Considering that both music and school contribute to the constitution of our identities, the aim of this thesis was to investigate the discourses of bachelor in music education students about gender and sexuality diversity, and its relations with music. More specifically, it aimed: to identify/make visible meanings of gender and sexuality that are being shared, naturalised, and legitimated; to identify/make visible how those meanings circulate; and to identify/make visible by whom these meanings are shared. Adopting a qualitative approach, the empirical material was produced through semi-structured interviews with four music education students from four higher education institutions from Curitiba-PR, Brazil. The empirical material was analysed using some of the strategies of grounded theory and further interpreted based on ideas from the field of feminist studies and the queer theory. The meanings shared by the music education students revealed divergent ways of making sense of gender and sexuality diversity, ways that locate people in distinct places. To recognize these divergent ways of sense making is to assume that, in the representation networks, “reality” will have multiple versions and the processes of knowing are socially and culturally constructed. The knowledge that constitutes the students’ systems of meaning about gender and sexuality diversity was not recognized as being constructed through their undergraduate courses. The silence about the interaction between music, gender and sexuality in the higher education settings goes through the students’ perception. This silence configures a discourse that makes invisible other ways of being beyond the hetero-cis-normative matrix.

A presente tese analisa a relação do movimento LGBT (Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis e Transexuais) com o Governo Federal mediada pela estrutura de participação política centrada no Conselho Nacional de Combate à Discriminação de LGBTs (CNCD/LGBT) e nas Conferências Nacionais LGBT. A partir da abordagem teórica marxista o trabalho problematiza questões referentes aos estudos de gênero e sexualidade próprios do pósestruturalismo e da teoria queer. Articulando alguns conceitos centrais destas correntes teóricas no interior da problemática da totalidade, própria ao marxismo, e ao conceito de Estado Integral ou Ampliado de Antônio Gramsci, o movimento LGBT é considerado como processo de constituição de sujeito “para si”. No curso de seu desenvolvimento este sujeito passa a atuar na arena da sociedade política sob a lógica da parceria e colaboração com o Estado. O objetivo do estudo é avaliar se a relação entre movimento e governo, por meio da participação em espaços institucionais que atuam como aparelhos hegemônicos, é caracterizada pelo consenso ativo de quadros e lideranças LGBTs junto ao bloco que governou o país entre 2003 e 2016, constituindo-se em relação de hegemonia. A metodologia utilizada abarcou análise quali-quantitativa, tomando como base publicações da ABGLT, em particular as que trabalham com o conceito de Advocacy, entrevistas em profundidade com atores chave que ocupam posições centrais na estrutura participativa em questão e a realização de censo com participantes do V Congresso Nacional da ABGLT, constituindo banco de dados para análise estatística Os resultados do estudo indicam que o processo de institucionalização do movimento, aprofundado pela atuação nos espaços participativos, incide na sua relação com o governo de modo a afastar do campo de ação do grupo subalterno a lógica do conflito. Os espaços de participação atuam como meio de organização, mobilização e definição de pautas, canalizando para si e neutralizando insatisfações e críticas da população LGBT frente às ações do poder público. O trânsito de quadros entre espaços da sociedade civil e da sociedade política marca o transformismo de lideranças e intelectuais do movimento. Sob tais condições o governo exerceu sua hegemonia política sobre o movimento LGBT por meio dos espaços participativos criado no Estado. / This dissertation analyzes the connection between the LGBT movement (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders) and the Federal Government mediated by the structure of political participation focused on the National Council Against the Discrimination of LGBTs and on the LGBT National Conferences. Therefore, this text, based on the Marxist theoretical approach, analyzes issues concerning gender and sexuality studies typical of poststructuralism and of the queer theory. By articulating some essential concepts of these theoretical approaches within the issue of totality, typical of Marxism and of Antônio Gramsci’s Integral or Extended State matters, the LGBT movement is considered a process of subject formation “for itself”. Throughout the development of this subject, he or she starts to act in our society’s political arena under the logic of partnership and cooperation along with the State. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate if this connection between the LGBT movement and the government, via the participation of the movement in institutional environments that act like hegemonic sets, is, in fact, characterized by the active consensus of LGBT leaderships that worked along with the group who ruled the country between 2003 and 2016, forming itself in a relationship of hegemony. The methodology adopted used qualiquantitative analysis, taking as its base the publications of ABGLT, specially the ones that deal with the concept of Advocacy, interviews with artists who are in important positions regarding the participative structure analyzed in this dissertation, as well as the achievement of census with participants of the V ABGLT National Congress, which constituted a data bank for statistical analysis The results of this study show that the process of the institutionalization of the movement, stronger due to its acting in participative environments, incise in its relationship to the government, thus alienating the logic of conflict from the group's acting field. These participative environments act like a means of organization, mobilization and definition of agendas, canalizing to themselves as well as neutralizing insatisfaction or criticism that might come from the LGBT population regarding the actions before the State. The transition between civil and political society environments mark the transformation of the movement's leaderships as well as its intellectuals. Under these conditions, the government carried out its political hegemony over the LGBT movement via the participative environments created within the State.

Este estudo tem o objetivo de construir uma reflexão acerca do processo de corporificação de personagens transgêneros e das construções teatrais de um ator homossexual a partir de seu corpo cotidiano (conjugado). Para tanto, escolhi investigar os processos de criação teatral e de construção corporal de alguns personagens interpretados pelo ator João Carlos Castanha. Os corpos criados por esse ator ganham carne a partir de pedaços de corpos masculinos e femininos que resultam em corpos estéticos de sexualidade e gênero híbridos. Diante disso, desenvolvi uma pesquisa embasada em referencias teóricos que subsidiam a Teoria Queer, aliados a procedimentos metodológicos oriundos da pesquisa qualitativa. Assim, utilizei fontes impressas, imagéticas, entrevistas e observações durante a prática do trabalho do ator. Esse trabalho resulta de uma necessidade particular de me aproximar e de compreender essas construções corpóreas que acontecem em zonas periféricas num devir-teatral. Zonas essas que se constituem fora dos padrões dos gêneros masculino e feminino. / This study aims to build a reflection on the embodiment process of transgender characters and theatrical constructions of a gay actor from his real life body (conjugate). Therefore, I chose to investigate the working process and body constructions of the characters played by actor João Carlos Castanha. The bodies created by this actor gain flesh from pieces of male and female bodies that result in hybrid sexuality and gender aesthetics bodies. Therefore, I have chosen to develop a research grounded in theoretical and methodological references of qualitative research, as well as the thought that subsidizes Queer Theory. So, I made use of printed sources, imagery, interviews and observations during the practice of that actor's work. Therefore, this paper is the result of a particular need for the researcher to approach these body constructions that occur in peripheral areas in a becoming theater. Thus, those areas are constituted outside the standards of male and female bodies.

As travestis muitas vezes apontam dificuldades em ingressar e permanecer em instituições escolares em virtude de padrões heteronormativos que as apontam como monstruosas e anormais, assim como os currículos escolares e os documentos que norteiam tais práticas educacionais pouco apresentam possibilidade de acolhimento destas identidades nestes espaços. A presente dissertação busca apontar possibilidades de formulação de critérios para a convivência das travestis nos espaços escolares formais. / Transvestites frequently point out difficulties on entering and remaining on educational institutions because of the heteronormative standards which reffer to them as monstrous and abnormal, as well as the school curriculum and the documents that guide such educational manners usually don't show any signs of welcoming of these identities in these places. The present dissertation tries to point out possibilities of the creation of a tranvestites coexistance criteria on the formal school.

Esta pesquisa tem como foco de estudos as representações de gênero e sexualidade correntes em um grupo de jovens da Renovação Católica Carismática e a forma como os/as jovens se relacionam com tais discursos católicos. Procurei direcionar as análises para os diferentes recursos usados, pela Renovação, para interpelar e ensinar aos jovens modos de ser e agir. Esta investigação sustentou-se nos campos dos Estudos Culturais pós-estruturalistas, Estudos Feministas, Gays, Lésbicos e Teoria Queer, beneficiando-se de alguns recursos utilizados pela etnografia para a produção e análise dos dados aqui contidos. A constituição do corpus de análise se deu através da observação realizada no grupo, da análise de textos e documentos produzidos pela Renovação Católica Carismática e das conversas individuais e coletivas realizadas com os/as jovens do grupo Nascer. Foi meu objetivo dar algumas pistas das formas como a sexualidade, o corpo e o gênero vem sendo compreendidos naquele espaço e apontar para a necessidade de trazer tais questões para os espaços nos quais atuamos como professoras/es e educadoras/es, já que os mesmos estão intimamente envolvidos com a formação e constituição dos sujeitos. Penso que problematizar certos discursos colocados em circulação pela cultura católica pode contribuir para que se pense/conceba o corpo, o gênero e a sexualidade de outras formas na nossa sociedade. / The focus of study of this research are the current representations of gender and sexuality in a group of young people belonging to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, as well as how these young people deal with such Catholic discourses. I sought to direct the analysis toward the different resources used by the Charismatic Renewal to question and teach the youth about the ways of being and acting. This investigation was based on the fields of the Post-Structuralist Cultural Studies, Feminist, Gay and Lesbian Studies and Queer Theory, in addition to some resources used by ethnography for the production and analysis of the information herein. The constitution of the corpus of analysis was made through the observation carried out in the group, the analysis of a number of texts and documents produced by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and the individual and collective conversations with the young people who belong to the Nascer group. It was my goal to provide some clues concerning the ways the sexuality, the body and the genders have been comprehended in that space and then indicate the necessity to bring such issues to the environments where we act as teachers and educators, since they are closely involved with the formation and constitution of the subjects. I think that problematizing certain discourses spread by the Catholic culture may contribute so that one can think / conceive the body, the gender and the sexuality in different ways in our society.

Esta dissertação tem como tema as representações do corpo em blogs de mulheres que escrevem sobre si. Para tanto, utilizei cinco blogs escritos por sujeitos que, pelas suas "falas", possibilitam pensar que são mulheres, brasileiras, nascidas na década de 1970 que mantiveram o seu blog atualizado, ou seja, escreveram posts com regularidade durante o primeiro semestre de 2008. Em seu conceito mais simples o blog pode ser concebido como um site personalizado, dinâmico e interativo, atualizado quando quem ali escreve quiser ou puder. Nesta pesquisa, os blogs analisados foram: Cérebro Eletrônico, Confissões de uma Balzaquiana, Diário de Lulu, Entretantas Eu e Toda Menina. A pesquisa foi inserida no campo de análise pós-estruturalista. Adotei, também, como referência os Estudos Feministas, Estudos Gays e Lésbicos e os Estudos Queer, principalmente as vertentes que se aproximam com as teorizações de Michel Foucault. Assim, diante do referencial teórico e das falas dessas mulheres, que continham representações do corpo, utilizando-me da Análise Cultural, foi possível estabelecer três eixos de análise: no primeiro eixo analiso falas das blogueiras referentes a padrões contemporâneos que instituem, principalmente, a magreza e uma aparência saudável como critérios fundamentais na conquista da felicidade e da beleza. A seguir, num segundo eixo, destaco representações que envolvem o amor romântico, o cuidado e a delicadeza além de assuntos como a moda, a menstruação e os prazeres, atributos e temas presentes nas falas dessas mulheres que fazem corpos femininos. Num último eixo, olho, pois, para as representações de corpo articuladas às sensações do paladar, do olfato, do tato. Penso que não se coloca em dúvida a importância do corpo na cultura contemporânea. Argumento que os blogs articulam um conjunto de discursos, ou melhor, fragmentos de discursos que se tramam através das falas da blogueira, possibilitando a realização de uma Análise Cultural, bem como, por veicularem modos de ser e estar no mundo, exercem Pedagogias Culturais. / This thesis has like theme the body's representations in blogs by women who write about their self and kept their blog actualized in the first semester by 2008. To this end, I used five blogs that have been written by subjects that, by their words, make possible think that they are Brazilians women, born in the decade 1970. In the simple concept, the blog is a personal site, dynamic and interactive, actualized when the subject want to write it. In this investigation, the blogs analysed were: Cérebro Eletrônico, Confissões de uma Balzaquiana, Diário de Lulu, Entretantas Eu and Toda Menina. The research was inserted in the post-structuralist perspective. I also used Feminist Studies, Gays and Lesbians Studies as Queer Studies, mainly those who has proximities with Michel Foucault theorizations. Then, in front of the theoretical references and of these women words, that had body's representations, using Cultural Analyses, with this, was possible to think in three axes to analyse: In the first moment, I analysed the bloggers words referent a contemporary ways that make, mainly, the slenderness and a healthy appearance like fundamentals criterion in the conquest of happiness and beauty. After this, in a second moment, I analysed representations that involve the love, the care and the delicacy besides themes like fashion, menstruation and sexual pleasure, rules and themes that make a feminine body. In the last moment, I analysed body´s representations in connection with palate, smell and tactile sense. The body is very important by the contemporary culture, then I argue that blogs articulate many discourses that are present in the bloggers speech, making possible a Cultural Analyses, as well as, to announce manners of being in the world, practice Cultural Pedagogies.

Nesta pesquisa realizamos um exercício de problematização acerca das verdades que demarcam processos de diferença/desigualdade presentes na implantação de uma formação de professoras/es nas temáticas de gênero, sexualidade, orientação sexual e relações étnico-raciais. Tomamos o trabalho de problematização como a tarefa de levantar as questões colocadas no campo e, também, as soluções que estão sendo propostas, considerando que, tanto as perguntas quanto as respostas, são elaboradas dentro de uma rede de poder/saber que determina as respostas possíveis. Com esta abordagem buscamos contribuir com o debate sobre a necessária transformação do cotidiano escolar, que se apresenta como discriminatório e pouco permeável às diferenças. Propomos discutir como o funcionamento de verdades acerca da diferenciação do humano normatiza e conforma o fazer pedagógico e vai se apresentar como desafio quando buscamos ensinar de outras formas ou ensinar valores alinhados aos direitos humanos. Utilizamos como campo de pesquisa a implantação do curso Gênero e Diversidade na Escola, oferecido pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) como formação continuada para professoras/es da rede pública de ensino, que tem como objetivo modificar preconceitos, condições desiguais, divulgar uma concepção de direitos humanos. Exploramos as naturalizações de verdades que, neste processo, constroem as subjetividades e identidades, através de demarcação de diferenças que servem de base para desigualdades. Buscamos compreender como se reapresentam as lógicas de verdades/preconceitos estabelecidas no campo da educação neste contexto de implantação de uma política pública direcionada a provocar mudanças na atuação docente. Entendemos que no momento em que se busca transformar uma rotina escolar entram em cena as difíceis negociações com o já estabelecido, a possibilidade de outras/novas intervenções pedagógicas serem colocadas em movimento necessita do deslocamento de posições cristalizadas. A proposta do curso, no formato de educação à distância (EAD), coloca em pauta a questão da distância, toda uma série de enunciados acerca de como pensamos as distâncias geográficas e como estas configuram subjetividades e geram classificações hierárquicas. Percebemos que a concepção de centro/periferia presente neste contexto não remete somente a uma posição geográfica, longe das capitais, mas está referida a uma série de classificações que atribuem valores diferenciados a diferentes sujeitos conforme estes se posicionam numa localização em relação a um centro. Encontramos uma série de desafios para a tarefa que esta formação se coloca, transformar o ambiente escolar instituindo relações mais igualitárias. Percebemos que este processo foi determinado por redes de poder relacionadas às formas como compreendemos os processos de escolarização, às posições atribuídas aos docentes e às diferentes legitimidades que estão colocadas para os locais de enunciação: de centro ou de periferia. A diferença está relacionada a um extensivo processo de categorização dos indivíduos e dentro deste processo não há igualdade possível, a intervenção necessária seria da ordem de contestar o modelo de categorias e burlar/transformar as normas que o definem. Portanto, nossas estratégias não podem apenas afirmar identidades subjugadas, mas também problematizar constantemente as configurações de identidades. / In this research we carried out an exercise in questioning about the truths that demarcate processes of difference/inequality present in the implementation of a teacher training about gender, sexuality , sexual orientation and ethnic-racial relations. We take the problematization as the task of raising the questions in the field and also the solutions that are being proposed, considering that both the questions and the responses are created in a network of power/knowledge that determines the possible answers. With this approach we seek to contribute to the debate about the necessary transformation of the school routine , which presents itself as discriminatory and not very open to differences. We propose to discuss how the functioning of truths about the human differentiation regulates and conforms the pedagogical actions and will present a challenge when we seek other ways to teach, or to teach values aligned to human rights. We used as a research field the implementation of the course Gênero e Diversidade na Escola (Gender and Diversity in School), hosted by the Ministério da Educação (Ministry of Education) as continuing education for teachers of the public school system, which aims to modify prejudices, unequal conditions, promote a conception of human rights. We explore the naturalization of truths that, in this process, construct subjectivities and identities, through demarcation of differences that support inequalities. We seek to understand how are presented the logics of truths/prejudices established in the field of education in this context of implementing a public policy aimed at bringing about change in teaching practice. We understand that when one seeks to transform a school routine come into play the difficult negotiations with the already established, the possibility of other/new pedagogical interventions being put in motion requires the displacement of hardened positions. The proposed format of the course, in distance education (ODL), brings forth the question of distance, a series of statements about how we think the geographical distances and how these shape subjectivities and generate hierarchical classifications. We realized that the idea of center/periphery present in this context refers not only to a geographical position away from the capital, but is referred to a series of classifications that assign different values to different subjects as they position themselves in a location relative to a center. We found a number of challenges for the task this training proposes, transforming the school environment by instituting more egalitarian relationships. We realize that this process was determined by power networks related to the ways we understand the processes of education, the positions assigned to teachers and the different legitimacy that is placed for places of enunciation: of center or of periphery. The difference is related to an extensive process of categorization of individuals and within this process there is no equality possible, the necessary intervention would be about challenging the categories model and bypass/change the rules that define it. Therefore, our strategies can not only assert subjugated identities, but also constantly question the identities settings.

Diante disso, desenvolvi uma pesquisa embasada em referencias teóricos que subsidiam a Teoria Queer, aliados a procedimentos metodológicos oriundos da pesquisa qualitativa. Assim, utilizei fontes impressas, imagéticas, entrevistas e observações durante a prática do trabalho do ator. Esse trabalho resulta de uma necessidade particular de me aproximar e de compreender essas construções corpóreas que acontecem em zonas periféricas num devir-teatral. Zonas essas que se constituem fora dos padrões dos gêneros masculino e feminino. / This study aims to build a reflection on the embodiment process of transgender characters and theatrical constructions of a gay actor from his real life body (conjugate). Therefore, I chose to investigate the working process and body constructions of the characters played by actor João Carlos Castanha. The bodies created by this actor gain flesh from pieces of male and female bodies that result in hybrid sexuality and gender aesthetics bodies. Therefore, I have chosen to develop a research grounded in theoretical and methodological references of qualitative research, as well as the thought that subsidizes Queer Theory. So, I made use of printed sources, imagery, interviews and observations during the practice of that actor's work. Therefore, this paper is the result of a particular need for the researcher to approach these body constructions that occur in peripheral areas in a becoming theater. Thus, those areas are constituted outside the standards of male and female bodies.
