Hideborg, Pernilla, Ketola, Katja January 2008 (has links)
This study is qualitative and will show what’s causing anxiety in a class. Further it will describe how teacher’s act and how they handle when anxiety becomes a problem in the education. How can one as a teacher handle and act in to these disturbing situations? The children, who are anxious, take important time from those students who really need help in their learning. To reach our purpose participating observations were made and teachers were interviewed. The result shows what apprehends the most important aspects, namely to prevent anxiety through among other things a structural way of work and self-awareness to their own teacher’s part. The teacher’s show that they are preventing anxiety by staying calm, good planning, which means for example that teachers always have to be one step further, to be sharp and aware of their one’s own action. In the result many different approaches were discovered, some ways were foregone conclusions, but some times the teachers gave a rather surprising result. The teachers have a complex day, for that reason tools are needed to simplify and to prevent some disturbing moments so a good learning environment is encouraged.

Delaktighet i samtal inkluderar elever med särskilda behov : en jämförande studie mellan ordinarie undervisning och specialundervisning / Participation in dialogue includes students with special needs : a comparing study between the ordinary teaching and special teaching

Österberg, Sofie January 2013 (has links)
This study is about how the dialog can help students with special needs to feel participation and inclusion in the class and the teaching. My purpose with this study was to look for how the students with special needs interact with other students and teachers through the dialogue. I also wanted to know if there is any positive and negative effects to teaching students with special need in the classroom compared with the teaching at the special teacher. I have taking purpose of the sociocultural theory in my study because it says that children learn together when they communicate with each other. The theory central words are dialog and scaffolding in the zone of proximal development. I also describe central words like participation, inclusion and students with special needs in the special teaching. I have investigated in four interviews, two of them were with a teacher and a special aids teacher, and two of them were students with special needs. I wanted to compare the teachers answer with the student’s answer about participation and including of student with special needs. I also did observations to see how the students with special needs where participation and including in the teaching. In my result I was found that both of the two students with special needs can feel participation and including through the dialogue in the teaching and in the class, even though they go to the special aid teacher for a while every day. I also found out in my study that students with special needs want to go to the special aid teacher because it is calm there but one of them also wanted to have the special teaching in the classroom instead, so he/she can work where her/his friends are.

Remmer, Loredana, Neuberg, Ann-Marie January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this study was to examine how the process of IEP worked at six different schools, and how some of the schools professions, collaborated on the procedurers for the establishment and evaluation of the IEP. The aim has been to study how special educators and special education teachers, which in Sweden now are a part of the student health organization, collaborate with teachers in dealing with the challenges and opportunities which arise when working with IEP. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews with twelve teachers including four special educators, a special education teacher and seven teachers. The result is reported based on three themes: anchoring of documents, the informants' perception of participation, documentation and the process of the IEP and an overall theme, communication, which we felt  permeates all three of the above themes. The survey showed that the majority of teachers felt that there was a lack of clarity and uncertainty after an IEP has been written. Especially when it came to evaluating an IEP and when an IEP should be completed. Uncertainty about the differences between additional adaptations and special support appeared when it came to documentation and monitoring the IEP. The study showed that the obstacles that educators have encountered was the feeling of lack of time and lack of clarity in the work process of the IEP. This in turn contributed to obstacles in the school's approach to students in need of support.

Arbete med extra anpassningar i fritidshem ur ett inkluderandeperspektiv / Work with Additional Adjustments in the Leisure Center from an Inclusive Perspective

Warnas, Elke January 2018 (has links)
The purpose of this study has been to contribute knowledge to research in the leisure area. The study has focused on leisure staff without college education. The aim was to determine how they interpreted and worked with the concept of inclusion for pupils with special needs. This has been done using a qualitative research methodology and a case study. Interviews have used as a data collection technique. The theoretical framework from which the study was examined were three different definitions of the concept of inclusion; the placement-oriented, the individual-oriented and the communityoriented. In this framework, there are two special pedagogical perspectives that is; the categorical and the relative perspective.  In the result, it was found that leisure time staff associate the concept of inclusion with the adaptations they make for pupils in need of support. Which suggests an individual-oriented definition of inclusion. Their way of working showed two directions in the result. The one against the individual-oriented and the other community-oriented. The challenges that existed were that the number of pupils in the groups were many and that made hard to see pupil and hence created a stressful environment.

Socialpedagogiskt arbetsätt i skolan för elever med ADHD : Socialpedagoger / Social Pedagogical Approach in School for Students with ADHD : Social Pedagogue

Kciku, Endrita, Gashi, Majlinda January 2023 (has links)
Background: In schools, the social pedagogical perspective has begun to occupy a more prominent role in the educational work with students. The social pedagogical approach is a crucial component in working with students who have ADHD. The social pedagogical framework provides these students with individual conditions to cope with their everyday lives. Purpose: The aim of the study is to investigate the social pedagogical support received by students with ADHD in school. Additionally, the working methods and approaches of social pedagogues in the school for the support offered to students with ADHD will be investigated. Furthermore, the role of the social pedagogue in the school will be explored. Method: A qualitative thematic analysis of the interviewed social pedagogues in schools. Conclusion: The conclusion of the study results in student´s well-being, attendance in school and social difficulties that social pedagogues have promoted. In addition, the collaborative process is important in the social-pedagogical work with students in school. Speciallärare med specialisering språk-, skriv- och läsutveckling - : en kollega med lite fler verktyg i sin verktygslåda / Special education teacher in language, writing and reading development : a savvy colleague

Eriksson, Cristina January 2022 (has links)
