[pt] A tese Giorgio Morandi e o respeito pelas coisas de uso, retoma a produção artística de Giorgio Morandi 1890-1964, um dos mais importantes artistas italianos do século XX, para restabelecer dentro do período de formação do Modernismo suas relações com a produção cultural europeia coetânea. A tese busca mostrar como a obra de Morandi se apresenta como uma alternativa à interpretação artística hegemônica feita pelo Cubismo da obra de Cézanne, privilegiando aspectos dessa poética que foram relegados a segundo plano por Picasso e Braque, notadamente a percepção de um espaço em profundidade corporalmente determinado, porém conjuminando essa espacialização com a linguagem planar estabelecida pelos cubistas. Procuramos mostrar que as buscas de Morandi não tinham afinidades somente no campo das artes, mas como a produção de sua obra e as questões por ela elaboradas, particularmente como o entendimento plástico das coisas e utensílios que lhe servem como motivo para suas naturezas–mortas estão em sintonia com o conceito de coisa e coisidade tratado pxsor Heidegger em A origem da obra de arte e O que é uma coisa?, ambos os textos escritos em 1935. As indagações artísticas de Morandi, de modo mais amplo, têm profundas afinidades com o método fenomenológico de Husserl, Heidegger e Merleau-Ponty. / [en] The dissertation Morandi and the Respect for Things of Use reexamines the artistic production of Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964), one of the most important Italian artists of the 20th century, in order to reestablish, within the time frame of the development of Modernism, his connections with contemporaneous European cultural production. The dissertation shows the ways in which Morandi s work presents itself as an alternative to Cubism s hegemonic artistic interpretation of Cézanne s work, favoring aspects of Cèzanne s poetics that Picasso and Braque relegated to the background – notably the perception of corporally determined depth of space – while at the same time uniting this spatialization with the language of flatness established by the Cubists. The dissertation seeks to demonstrate that Morandi s investigations had affinities not only in the arts, but that the production of his body of work and the questions it raised – in particular the visual understanding of things and utensils that motivated his still-lifes – were in line with the concept of thing and thingness elaborated by Heidegger in The Origin of the Work of Art and What is a Thing? both written in 1935. Morandi s artistic inquiries, in a broad sense, have deep affinities with the phenomenological method of Husserl, Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty.

本文共分為九章,三十節。首先點出《東坡易傳》的哲學義理概要及其研究價值,由當時時代背景探究《東坡易傳》興起之源由,進而討論時代背景,瞭解其政治因素對學術思想的影響,從三蘇的思想流變到洛蜀黨爭等。
本論文涉及面向包括《東坡易傳》的架構及其內涵、特色,分析蘇軾在《東坡易傳》對〈序卦〉的強調以及對〈雜卦〉的修訂,在《東坡易傳》的思想內涵,討論其儒、道、佛貫穿其中之思想特色,並做一綜述性的小結。而後針對《東坡易傳》卦爻的解釋方法闡述。在五、六、七章分別討論探討《東坡易傳》的宇宙觀、價值觀以及美學三大方面,可以說這三大方面為哲學探討的核心問題,所在這三個章節裡面,分別以宇宙觀、價值觀及美學為主軸,探討幾個重要的觀念。宇宙觀的部分包括其形上思想及「道」,分別論述幾個形上概念在卦爻中出現的情況以及其義理的分析。第六章的價值論即是指中國人所注重的傳統人倫,包括人生哲學、社群生活、家庭、社會、國家等等,本章亦是提出幾個概念作為一主軸思考深入探析,從其心性問題進而討論宋儒注重的性命問題。在價值觀的部分首先會說明宋以前的心性說,然後由蘇軾對前代學者的批評發現其中心思想,批評之後在進而說明《東坡易傳》對「性」論觀點,在美學的部分,第七章乃由《東坡易傳》發現蘇軾這樣一個文學氣質蓋天下的大家,敢批評吳道子,善為文人畫、書法自成一格,為北宋四大家之一,知音律、曉醫藥,堪稱吾所不學無所不能無所不見,對美學思想的把握及闡發。此三個章節的預期效果是希望由宇宙觀、價值觀到美學之間的環節,探討《東坡易傳》對生活世界、對天下萬物的一種生生不息的態度。
最後以時代點來作為一檢視標準,將蘇軾的觀點與宋代的同時代的學者比較,例如程頤以及南宋的朱熹,並由其中分歧之處作交互評論,藉以發揮了解其不同的涵義。本論文展望性之角度重新審視《東坡易傳》,一方面探究《東坡易傳》思想的內在困難與種種問題、一方面總結《東坡易傳》的特色與影響,另一方面討論的是《東坡易傳》之發展及其後世價值。

Processreliabilistiska rättfärdigande som funktionalistiska förlopp: Är generalitetsproblemet ett frameproblem?Lundqvist, Johan January 2013 (has links)
Först presenteras metafysisk funktionalism. En Ramseysats för smärta spelar en central roll som en implicit definition av ett mentalt tillstånd över sensorisk input och beteendemässig output. Därefter presenteras reliabilismen som en teori om kunskap. Några allmänna kunskapsteoretiska problem, samt några av reliabilismens problem presenteras. De mest relevanta problem är följande: fallet med en elak demon, klärvoajans samt Mr. Truetemp, och generalitetsproblemet. En formell och schematisk presentation ges för reliabilism som en teori för kunskap, eller möjligen tillskrivande av kunskap, och processreliabilism som en teori för epistemiskt rättfärdigande. Därefter exponeras strukturella likheter mellan funktionalism och processreliabilism. Det får anses plausibelt att det råder ett nära släktskap mellan dessa teorier då Ramseysatser för rättfärdigade trosföreställningar presenteras. Dessa analyseras sedan utifrån möjliga fall. Med ny teoretisk bakgrund prövas reliabilismens problem ånyo inom ett funktionalistisk ramverk. Nya sätt att bemöta problemen presenteras genom en analys av det Kinesiska Rummet. Det svårlösta generalitetsproblemet kan ses som ett frameproblem och hanteras med hjälp av enveloping. / Firstly, a presentation of metaphysical functionalism. A Ramsey sentence plays a central role as an implicit definition of a mental state over sensory input and behavouristic output. A presentation of reliabilism as a theory of knowledge. A summary of some general epistemological problems and some specific to reliabilism; the main ones are the evil demon, clairvoyance and Mr. Truetemp, and the generality problem. A formal and schematic presentation of reliabilism as a theory of knowlege, or possibly knowlege attribution, and process reliabilism as a theory of belief justification. Structural similarities between functionalism and process reliabilism are exposed. A close kinship between these two theories seems plausible because of the possibility to present Ramsey sentences for justified beliefs. These Ramsey sentences are then analysed over possible cases. This new theoretical background, warrents another look at problems for reliabilism. New ways to counter these problems are presented via an analysis of the Chinese Room. The elusive genrality problem is seen as a frame problem and treated using enveloping.

Magistrinio darbo problematikos formulavimas vadovaujasi prielaida, jog dalis moderniosios filosofijos projektų formavosi kaip reakcija į Vakarų Europos mąstymo tradiciją, kurios formuojantį pagrindą sudarė filosofija. Dėl šios priežasties neatsiejamu šių projektų egzistavimo požymiu laikytina nuosekli filosofijos istorijos kritika, tuo pačiu pateikianti alternatyvius filosofijos supratimo orientyrus. Tokiu radikaliu filosofijos sąjūdžiu, XX a. laikomas egzistencializmas. Magistriniam darbui pasirinktos dvi filosofų figūros: Rosenzweigas ir Heideggeris. Abu filosofai kritiškai reflektavo filosofijos istoriją bei abu pateikė alternatyvius mąstymo projektus. Pagrindiniu Vakarų tradicijos kritikos bei naujo mąstymo suformulavimo svarbiausiu aspektu laikome fundamentalų „pirminių mąstymo prielaidų” perklausimą. Atlikęs tokį perklausimą bei taip atsiribojęs nuo „mąstymo metafizikos”, Rosenzweigas susikuria naujas prieigas prie tikėjimo problematikos. Panaudodamas Johano Wolfgango Geothes profenomeno sampratos bei savo mokytojo – Hermanno Coheno diferencialinės matematikos teorijos idėjas, jis pateikia trijų (metafizinio Dievo, metaloginio pasaulio ir metaetinio žmogaus) profenomenų aprašymą. Metaetinio žmogaus sąmonės struktūros gretinimas su „naujojo mąstymo” (tokį pavadinimą Rosenzweigas pats prisiskiria savo filosofijai) pirminėmis prielaidomis, atveda prie dialoginės (Zwiesprache) apreiškimo (Offenbarung) sąmonės struktūros aprašymo. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The formulation of theme in this paper is followed the assumption that a part of projects of modern philosophy were generated as a reaction to the tradition of Western Europe thinking, which was influenced by philosophy. That is the reason why coherent criticism of history of philosophy, in the same time giving the perception guides of philosophy, is considered as a concurrent attribute of that project existence. Existentialism of the 20th century is considered as such radical movement of philosophy. Two philosophical figures were chosen from this general context: Rosenzweig and Heidegger. Both thinkers made critical reflections on history of philosophy and both give the alternative projects of thinking. The fundamental reasking of „prime thought assumptions” is considered as an important aspect of main criticism of Western tradition and the formulation of new thinking. After this performed reasking and disassociation from “metaphysics of thought”, Rosenzweig creates new approaches to the faith theme. Using the prophenomenon perception of Johan Wolfgang Geothe and his teachers, Herman Cohen’s ideas about diferencial mathematics theory, he presents description of three prophenomenon (metaphysical God, metalogical world and metaethical man). El discurso se construye a través de un transitar sobre la banda de Moebius y en su vaivén y en su doblez aparecen y desparecen imágenes, ideas y textos sobre los que fluye la voluntad de construir una interpretación nueva sobre el objeto descrito. Martin Heidegger, Gilles Deleuze y Gaston Bachelard son los tres sostenes teóricos de esta estructura. Y más cerca y más lejos de este texto siempre se mantiene la difícil tarea de entender cuál es la forma de habitar y de ser (Ich bin) del hombre en la tierra. / The purpose of this study is to address the concept of space and, in particular, its disoccupation through three different pieces of work: Empty/Metaphysical Box by Jorge Oteiza, Who´s afraid of red, yellow and blue by Barnett Newman and German Pavilion by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The discourse is constructed through a move on the Moebius band, its swing and double apparition and disappearance of images, ideas and texts which build a new interpretation of the subject matter. Martin Heidegger, Gilles Deleuze and Gaston Bachelard are the three theorists of this structure. the origins of the movement in South Africa. On the basis of primary documents, made
available by leaders and other informants, questionnaires, semi-structured interviews
and participant observation, the roots and history of New Thought in South Africa has
been reconstructed. Aspects of New Thought belief, such as God, Jesus, Christ, the
Bible, prayer, meditation, wealth, prosperity, death and reincarnation are discussed. It
becomes apparent that, with its syncretistic, flexible and open structure, as well as the
unique way in which services (weddings, christenings, funerals) are conducted, New
Thought offers an alternative to spiritual and religiously minded people in South Africa,
and shows potential to play a dynamic role in the cross-cultural bridging that is taking

Transcendentální aspekty architektonického návrhu jako činitelé udržitelnosti / Transcendental aspects of architectural design as factors of sustainabilityVolnohradský, Radan Unknown Date (has links)
This thesis deals with complex processes, relationships and phenomena which go beyond the assumed and accepted materialistic perception of the world in general and the process of architectural design specifically. It clarifies and actually redefine the sustainability from a point of higher universal principles forming our environment. At the beginning this thesis presents an extensive knowledge base of existing holistic design systems including Feng-shui, sacred geometry, geomancy or numerology. The purpose is to build and establish a solid foundation for understanding and further research as well as objectively interpreting lesser known topics as a whole. On the basis of intersecting information through the above mentioned topics we specify the hypothesis which proposes the pre-existence of one unifying design matrix of harmonic structures in architecture. The structure of its verification takes us from an analysis of the science of human perception to systems of self-similar contextual references of animated and inanimated forms. These systems of emergent form and flow are basically known as fractals, and could be expressed in both mathematical and geometrical languages. The thesis research then consists of analysing chosen examples of urban and architectural scale in sense of fractality, symbolism and geometrical matrices. We include and integrate the research of associated and relevant phenomena in pedagogical practice, and a case study of the application of fractals in development of a chosen town. From the results of this thesis we abstract five non-dogmatic guidelines or tenets for architectural design; which are supported by experimental verification on some of the author´s buildings. These tenets stand as pillars of implosive architecture. This kind of architecture in context of transcendental overlaps means a possibility of how to bring our anthropogenic environment closer to the natural and harmonic code of the Universe.

Although the main topic of my diploma thesis is Kabát, I describe in the introductory chapters of my previous work, because their creation and gradual emergence have been directed towards the final project - Kabát. As part of my sculpture, I concentrate mainly on the possibilities of transforming the human figure, using various classical and non-traditional sculptural materials. The fabric of a selected piece of clothing (in the case of a coat) is reinforced at a certain point in time, which I transposed into the feathered cavity - the coat that you put before you. His work with the "outer envelope of man" in the final passage of the text corresponds to the work of Czech and foreign artists.

Die philosophischen Grundlagen der Meta-Dimension des Rechts auf Menschenwürde lösen eine Fragestellung aus, die die Grenzen der Disziplin des Rechts übertrifft: wie könnte das Transzendentale als ein Aspekt der Bedeutung von Menschenwürde dargestellt werden? Das Beharren auf der nicht-Bestimmung des Menschenbildes oder auf dem Begriff ‚Gott’ in der Präambel des Deutschen Grundgesetzes, wie es sich in der Deutschen Dogmatik widerspiegelt, gepaart mit dem Bestreben nach einer Fall-zu-Fall ad hoc Konkretisierung dessen, was Menschenwürde bedeutet, inspiriert diese Untersuchung von ‚etwas fehlt’ [‘something missing’]. In postmoderner Art und Weise beschreibt diese Geschichte das Gesetz der Menschenwürde als Trojanisches Pferd und bietet hermeneutische und literarische Grundlagen für eine affirmative Haltung gegenüber einer ''leeren'' Rede im juristischen Diskurs. Die Forschungsfrage erweckt und umkreist die polemisch verbrämten Begriffe von ‚Leere’ und ‚Black Box’: Warum erscheint der Rechtsbegriff der Menschenwürde ‚leer’? Oder wie ist er ‚leer’? Warum und wie ist er eine ‚Black Box’? Wie erscheinen Manifestationen des Konzepts abstrakt wie Universalien, aber im Einzelnen konkret? Die ontologischen, sprachlich-analytischen und phänomenologischen philosophischen Erkenntnisse, vorgestellt im ersten Kapitel, bilden die Linse, durch die fünf maßgebliche Fälle des Bundesverfassungsgerichtes – über Abtreibung, lebenslange Freiheitsstrafe, Transsexualität, staatliche Reaktion auf Terroranschläge und die Gewährleistung eines menschenwürdigen Existenzminimums – im zweiten Kapitel analysiert werden. Die philosophischen Quellen werden nicht als Momente im langen Verlauf der Menschenwürde in der Geschichte der Ideen eingeklammert. / The philosophical underpinnings of what may be called the meta-dimension of the law of human dignity trigger a question that surpasses the boundaries of the discipline of law: how could the transcendental as an aspect of human dignity meaning be portrayed? The insistence on non-determination of the Menschenbild [human image] or ‘God’ in the Preamble to the German Basic Law [Grundgesetz] reflected in German legal doctrine, paired with the commitment to case-by-case ad hoc concretization of what human dignity means inspire this story of ‘something missing’. In postmodern fashion, this story portrays the law of human dignity as a Trojan Horse and provides hermeneutic and literary foundations for an affirmative stance towards ‘emptiness’ talk in legal discourse. The research question rekindles and twists polemically framed ‘emptiness’ and ‘black box’ contentions: Why does the legal concept of human dignity appear ‘empty’? Or, how is it ‘empty’? Why and how is it a ‘black box’? How do manifestations of the concept appear abstract as universals and concrete as particulars? The ontological, linguistic-analytical, and phenomenological philosophical insights presented in Chapter One compose the lens through which five benchmark Bundesverfassungsgericht cases – on abortion, life imprisonment, transsexuals, state response to terrorist attacks, and the guarantee of a dignified subsistence minimum – are analyzed in Chapter Two. The philosophical sources are not bracketed as moments in the long course of human dignity in the history of ideas.

Physical and metaphysical zones of transition : comparative themes in Hittite and Greek Karst landscapes in the Late Bronze and Early Iron agesHay, Anne Persida 01 1900 (has links)
English, Afrikaans and Zulu summaries / While there is increasing interest in the effect of landscape on ancient imagination, less
attention has been paid to the impact of restless karst hydrology on ancient beliefs. By
identifying shared themes, this study compares and contrasts the way Hittites and
Aegean people in the Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages reshaped peripheral karst
landscapes into physical and imagined transitional zones.
Karst geology underpins much of the Aegean and Anatolian landscape, allowing
subterranean zones to be visible and accessible above ground via caves, springs, sinking
streams, sinkholes and other unusual natural formations. In both cultures, certain
dynamic landscapes were considered to be sacred porous points where deities, daemons,
heroes and mortals could transit between cosmic realms. Evidence suggests that Hittites
and Aegean people interpreted dramatic karst landscapes as liminal thresholds and
spaces situated between the world of humans and the world of deities.
Part One investigates physical zones of transition via the karst ecosystems of rural
sanctuaries. Part Two considers the creative interpretation in myth and iconography of
karst phenomena into metaphysical zones of transition. The examples reveal the way in
which Hittites and Aegean people built their concept of the sacred on the extraordinary
characteristics of karst geology. Numinous karst landscapes provided validity and a
familiar reference point for the creation of imagined worlds where mortal and divine
could connect. / Vandag is daar toenemende belangstelling in die effek van die landskap op die
verbeelding van die mensdom in die oudheid - maar minder aandag word bestee aan die
impak van die rustelose karst landskap op die mens se gelowigheid in die oudheid. Deur
