Theme of the Master degree – Lithuania teachers‘ unions influence on the education changes process.
The theme is relevant, as it seeks to value teachers‘ unions influence on the education changes process. Teachers‘ unions activities in Lithuania have not been researched. In this paper is analysed how education changes process, education policy‘s usefulness depends on social organizations‘ involvement into this process. Namely teachers‘units, unifying teachers, who directly participate in education process, can help education politics to make rational decisions and to prompt teachers to improve, play up public not only in the direct work, but also creating education policy.
Problem of the research. Education is related with permanent changes process, therefore Lithuania‘s general training marks, quality characteristics, activity‘s usefulness, teachers‘ improvement and certification are revised. In this plane also centralization/decentralization process, functions‘ distribution among separate education links questions and another group of the questions – teachers‘ work conditions, payments and etc. It is necessary to involve as many participants as possible into education policy‘s creation, to develop social dialogue. This master‘s final paper formulates theoretical and practical features of the real estate management of educational institutions. Comprehensive school networks, buildings, and state of hygiene is analysed. A lot of attention is payed to the analyses of Lieporiai and „Saulėtekis“ high schools, their real estate and property management, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the state of the school buildings themselves. During the research the opinion of students about the state of the buildings was studied. Acknowledged hypothesis is that the real estate management of the educational institutions and their differences depend on the educational institutions themselves (on their popularity, initiative).

In an attempt to improve the quality of education in basic schools of Lithuania, the Ministry of Education has prepared and is now realizing a Schools Improvement Program. (SIP)
The main goal of this program is to improve 5th – 10th forms students’ achievements modernizing general education and making sure the funds for education are used in an effective and rational way.
The Schools Improvement Program is being realized with the help of teachers-consultants. Their goal is to ensure the achievements and realization of the educational tasks set in the Schools Improvement Program. However, their activities and role in ensuring the spread of SIP ideas have not been investigated yet. Therefore, it is vital to find out and investigate the way consultants perform their role and functions.
The goal of the investigation: to ascertain SIP consultants’ role realization in improving educational activity of basic schools.

The work aims at exposing the importance of constant learning of teachers under conditions of changing education, teachers' needs and how the informal lifelong in-service educational institution, called Educational Centre, meets them. The characteristics of Educational Centre and its readiness to fulfil teachers' lifelong teaching are analyzed. The conceptualism of constant learning is analyzed in this work: the concept of qualification and competence, the importance of general skills, possibility to improve them and to get them while learning constantly. Pedagogical, psychological and social presumptions of lifelong learning are discussed. In the unit on methodology of lifelong learning it is said that constant learning of the teachers is an important condition of changing education, it is cleared up what the aims of adult teaching and psychological parameters of adult education are. The teachers' constant (lifelong) learning is investigated in details. The qualitative analysis of activity of Molėtai Educational Centre and its readiness to meet the needs of teachers' constant learning are presented. At the end of the work the conclusions about teachers' lifelong learning and readiness of the Educational Centre to do it are presented. The permanent and intensive changes taking place nowadays in societal, social, economical, organizational and even private lives shift a great responsibility on a comprehensive school that has to create equal opportunities for every learner to acquire education and abilities to adapt in a constantly changing environment. The implemented educational reforms constituted a significant progress of the educational system of the Republic of Lithuania, however, the increasing number of learners that do not acquire qualitative comprehensive education are not able to compete in society and face social exclusion. The following are thought to be the most urgent educational problems in European Union and Lithuania: qualitative education, education for all, as drop-out of every child from a formal education system is a great loss for a state in terms of demography, morality, economy, culture and etc.

Magistro darbo tema – Kaimo pilietinė bendruomenė ir jos sąsajos su švietimo sistema (Kaišiadorių rajono atvejis). Tema aktuali, kadangi būtina stiprinti kaimo bendruomenės ryšius su švietimo sistema, nes kaimo bendruomenei kokybiškai veikti reikia žinių ir įgūdžių, gebėjimų įtakoti savo narių ugdymo procesus. Darbas teoriškai ir praktiškai reikšmingas, nes šalies kaimo bendruomenių sąsajos su švietimo sistema dar mažai tyrinėtos, apibendrinančių tyrimų nėra atlikta.

The paper explores arranging of the pre-school possibilities according to the parents opinion. Information on parents education forms in the pre-school institution is being collected. Moreover, topics on educational issues on parents having children under 7 years old relieved by Šiauliai Kraštas newsletter (2008-2009). Hypothesis is being approved that parents pay too little attention to education and co-operation with pre-school teachers. It explores also that pedagogues use ordinary educational forms in the pre-school groups aged from 1 to 6 and from 6 to 7.
