Fios de roca e tramas sentimentais: personagens tecelãs em O Continente, Os Sinos da Agonia e O Voo da Guará Vermelha / Yarns of a spinning wheel and sentimental plots: weaver characters in O Continente, Os Sinos da Agonia and O Voo da Guará Vermelha

Piaceski, Daiana Patrícia Follman Pasquim 08 June 2017 (has links)
In the spinning wheel, in the loom, in the interlacing of threads for the construction of a text (like telling a lullaby to the children) rests, almost always, the hands of the women; Extrapolating the literal understanding of sewing, darning, weaving, spinning, the literary text often presents them metaphorically, as a feminine artifice to overcome or subvert the prevailing patriarchal order, a backbone issue on a theoretical basis undertaken in this research. As a theoretical corpus, the foundation for this work in História das Mulheres do Brasil, Histórias íntimas, Casa Grande & Senzala, Um Teto todo Seu, O Segundo Sexo, and others. The fictional texts analyzed here, O Continente (1949), Os Sinos da Agonia (1974) and O voo da Guará Vermelha, (Objetiva, 2005), present three different profiles of women corresponding, in one way or another, to a Archetype - definition by Carl Jung (1976) - of the weaver woman, each emanating different desires. Following the heart is Ana Terra, within text of Erico Verissimo (1905-1975), As well as the women in their line of succession, Bibiana and Maria Valéria; Taken by her instincts of femme fatale comes Malvina, by Autran Dourado (1926-2012); Facing the social impositions, an argument deeply rooted in the female figure - emerges the seropositive prostitute Irene, a character written by Maria Valéria Rezende (1942). It is analyzed a construction of female people who, molded within an achetypal plane, corresponds the figure of the weaver woman and, thus, they manage to be "owners of their destinies", even under a patriarchal order, through their actions, your desires, your influences. Searches related to the main Brazilian literary histories, such as one organized by Afrânio Coutinho, Alfredo Bosi, Carlos Nejar and others, foundations for the explanation about the critical resourses of the works, besides the literary articles printed and online. In addition, an exclusive interview made on the telephone, which the writer Maria Valéria Rezende gave directly to the author. The work has theoretical, bibliographical and literary fundamentals: it begins with a patriarchy's theory, followed with a critical resourses of the works, crosses the archetypes of the collective unconscious and Greek mythology, in order to arrive at the literature works, where some relations of meaning which fostered as discussions about the theme. The analysis reveals the contours given to weaver characters, contextualizing them, thematically and historically, inside the patriarchal universe to which they are submitted. It shows how such women have created subterfuges to place themselves in this universe governed by man, and even, as they do to control it.

“Un solo túnel, oscuro y solitario”: Ernesto Sábato entre o papel e a tela / “Un solo túnel, oscuro y solitario”: Ernesto Sábato between the paper and the screen

Santos, Eduardo Alves dos 09 September 2017 (has links)
This work is within the scope of interarts studies and has as its object a comparative study between the works The Tunnel (1948), by the Argentine writer Erneto Sábato and the film of the same name by the Buenos Aires director León Klimovsky (1952). This research aims to comparative analysis the literary and the filmic text, in order to show the strategies used by the director for the construction of the film narrative, and by so doing bring to the spectator an existentialist plot, which in the book presents itself as a narration in first person and in the structure of the film is presented through the external eye of a camera and intermediated by the readings carried out by characters that do not exist in the plot of Sábato. For that, authors who discuss the adaptation of literary texts to the cinema, such as Linda Hutcheon, Robert Stam, André Bazin and Sánchez Noriega, will be brought to the discussion. In order to analyze the existentialist theme content, which explicitly forms part of the influences present in both works, we turn to Jean Paul Sartre's ideas, more specifically to his texts Existentialism is a humanism and Sketch for a theory of emotions. Finally, considering that Ernesto Sábato was, besides an author, a recognized literary critic, we make use of some of his texts, such as El escritor y sus fantasmas and Heterodoxia, which turn to the discussion of his own aesthetic production and to Issues that affect literary production in general.

A didactically orientated literary analysis of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory observed through the perspectives class and postcolonialism

Nilhammer, Karin January 2017 (has links)
This study aims to investigate how the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964) can be used in value based education. The primary focus is on the aspect of democracy and the aspects social class and multiculturalism specify the investigation. The research questions concern the book’s connections to fundamental values set by the curriculum, as well as how the book can be used in teaching based on goals defined in the Swedish syllabus. The methodology used is narrative analysis and the theoretical perspectives used are post-colonial and class. The analysis concludes that the representation of people from different cultures and certain classes found in the book raise certain problems. The book itself creates no deeper understanding for these people and therefore it is up to the teacher to create and build a teaching based on these problems. The book opens for discussions regarding the complex concept of irony which in turn can lead to discussions concerning ethical and moral issues. Other aspects involved in teaching based on the book are human rights, the ability to put yourself in another person’s shoes as well as strengthening of the students’ identities.

Gestaltningar av genus i förskolemiljö : En kvalitativ text- och bildanalys av hur genus gestaltas i ett bestämt urval av bilderböcker / Portrayals of gender in preschool environment : A qualitative text- and picture analysis of gender portrayals in picture books

Jessica, Karlsson January 2018 (has links)
The study is a qualitative literature analysis with the purpose of examining how children and preschool pedagogues were portrayed in picture books that take place in the preschool environment, based on gender perspectives. To define the material, books that take place in the preschool environment had been selected. The purpose of the study was also to examine how relationships between children and preschool pedagogues were portrayed, from a gender perspective. And whether there was a difference between the gender portrayals depending on the year when the book was published. The picture book analysis has created an understanding of how preschool pedagogues can work gender pedagogically with literature as a tool, together with the children. The analysis and the results have shown that there are variations in how gender and gender roles were portrayed in the picture books. It also showed that there are picture books that are gender conscious and that some maintain and enhance gender roles.

Digitální repozitáře na vysokých školách v České republice / Digital repositories at universities in the Czech Republic

Zlatohlávková, Růžena January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to present, analyse, compare and evaluate the current state of digital repositories at universities in the Czech Republic that use a software application for their digital repository. A theoretical part, which introduces the reader into the issue of compilation and operating of digital repositories in the Czech academic context, precedes the practical reserach. The crucial chapter of the practical part are the results of the actual analysis. The results of a supplementary survey of universities that do not run a digital repository with usage of software application and choose a different way of storage and access to their grey literature draw on the results of this analysis. The conclusion of the entire thesis is the outline of future development of the investigated issue and the perspective of further progress of the Czech academic milieu.
