Studiens syfte var att bidra med kunskap om hur rekryterare på bemanningsföretag rekryterar butikssäljare, en bransch med relativ hög personalomsättning. Mer specifikt har vad som kännetecknar dessa rekryteringsprocesser och vilka värden som tillskrivits formella och informella kompetenser studerats. Studien har genomförts genom en kvalitativ metod med kvalitativa intervjuer för att kunna skapa ett djup i svaren. Studien har avgränsats till två bemanningsföretag som rekryterar butikssäljare till dagligvaru- och detaljhandeln i mellersta Sverige. I studien har tre rekryteringsansvariga från respektive bemanningsföretag intervjuats. Insamlingen av data har skett genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex rekryterare från två rekryterings- och bemanningsföretag som verkar inom samma branscher och rekryterar butikssäljare. Valet av semistrukturerade intervjuer valdes för att ge respondenterna mer frihet i deras svar, detta genom att ställa öppna frågor som ger möjlighet till följdfrågor under intervjuernas gång. Metodvalen baserades på studiens syfte och frågeställningarnas karaktär med förhoppningen att få fram djupgående information som skapar förståelse för rekryteringsprocesserna. Studiens resultat visar att rekryteringsprocesserna som bemanningsföretagen använder sig av i rekrytering av butikssäljare kännetecknas av en kompetensbaserad rekrytering med utgångspunkt i en befattningsbeskrivning och en kravspecifikation. I kravspecifikationen listas de kompetenskrav som behövs för att utföra arbete på ett bra sätt och används som ett avgörande arbetsverktyg i urvalsprocessen.

Begreppsatomismen lär oss att den metafysiska strukturen hos lexikala begrepp beror påbegreppens relation till yttervärlden men är oklar i hur denna relation förverkligas. Avsiktenmed denna uppsats är därför att utveckla en metafysisk tes för uppkomsten av begreppsligstruktur som också närmare visar hur lexikala begrepp förhåller sig till världen. Utredningenbestår i att jämföra två filosofiska positioner som står nära begreppsatomismen: å ena sidanPutnams externalism för naturliga typer och å andra sidan biosemantiken, här representeradav Dennett och Millikan. Genom att utgå ifrån Putnams tankeexperiment tvillingjord ochhans syn på strukturen hos lexikala begrepp nås slutsatsen att biosemantiken når längre av detvå. Men en närmare granskning visar att biosemantik i förening med principen om evolutiongenom naturligt urval ger att strukturen hos lexikala begrepp står i ett metafysiskt beroendetill framtiden och förverkligas retrospektivt, varvid retrospektiv begreppsatomism föreslås.

I detta arbete som fokuserar på hur neurala nätverk kan appliceras på och hur väl de presterar i en spelmiljö undersöks två nätverksarkitekturer applicerat på en simulation av ett så kallat urvalsbaserat spel. I arbetet så är ett urvalsbaserat spel ett spel som går ut på att en spelare skall göra en mängd val innan spelet börjar, och de två nätverksarkitekturerna som utvärderas är Feed Forward och NEAT. Experimenten låter nätverken skapa lag för en förenklad version av spelet Pokemon och kommer sedan att låta dessa lag tävla emot varandra i en deterministisk testmiljö för att bedöma hur bra nätverken presterar.

The purpose of this Bachelor's thesis is to analyse how librarians approach selection and acquisition of children's and young adult literature written in languages other than Swedish. What aspects do they look at when making their selection and how do they decide that a book lives up to the library's standards if they cannot read the book themselves? In order to answer these research questions a series of telephone interviews were conducted with librarians working in different municipalities. The selection of municipalities to include in the study was based on official statistics depicting the amount of immigrants who moved to each municipality during 2015. The theory used in this study is based on Sanna Talja's study about different attitudes towards the library's collection. The attitudes are referred to as "General Education Repertoire", the "Alternative Repertoire" and the "Demand Repertoire". These attitudes were also used as a framework when analysing the information from my own interviews. The results show that all of the interviewed librarians are eager to fulfil their patron's demands while also staying true to their own ideas of what the library should provide in regards to content, diversity and quality.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate if, and how, normcriticism is a factor for four librarians at public libraries whenthey select the titles to read at a organized story time forchildren.Four qualitative interviews were conducted, with the purposeto get a deeper knowledge on which perspectives were crucialin the four librarians’ processes of choosing what books topresent for the participants of the story time.To analyse the results of the interview, I used two theories.One which focused on norm criticism from four differentangles, and another with three views on reading, adjusted forthis study on reading aloud. The views for norm criticismwere taken from Kumashiros theory on anti oppressivepedagogy and Education for the other, education about theother, education that is critical of othering and privileging,and education that changes students and society. The viewsregarding book selection were the based on Sandins theory,and were emancipatory, the traditionalistic and the pragmatic.The study found that, for these particular librarians, the mostimportant factor was that, since the story time is voluntary, itis essential that the kids enjoy the activity. But, in regards tothe selection process, the librarians used an anti-oppressiveview in making sure that no harmful stereotypes were presentin the story. Sometimes at the expense of the classic tales.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka bibliotekariers och förskolepedagogers (läsombud) förhållningssätt, tankar och idéer angående vilka böcker barnen kommer i kontakt med, hur böckerna i sin tur används och vilka aktörer som har en aktiv roll i urvalsprocessen.  För att forska kring detta valde vi att utgå ifrån en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod som fokuserade på intervjuer med personer från två olika institutioner som båda har en påverkande roll i utbudet av barnlitteratur som barnen får ta del av. Den insamlade empirin analyserades utifrån Pierre Bourdieus kultursociologiska teori med de tillhörande begreppen habitus, kapital och fält. Dessutom användes barndomssociologiska grundtankar och begrepp från Gunilla Halldéns böcker och texter. Begreppen being/becoming och barnperspektiv/barns perspektiv.    Studien synliggör hur olika aktörer tilldelas en varierande mängd makt och status i olika institutioner. Forskningen lyfter fram en existerande hierarki i urvalsprocessen av barnlitteratur samt vem som äger kunskapen om vad som är en bra barnbok. Läsombuden förlitar sig på bibliotekariernas medan bibliotekarierna förlitar sig på inköpsgruppen. Inköpsgruppen förlitar sig i sin tur på bokkataloger och lektörsomdömen. Vidare visar studien hur användandet och syftet av barnböcker också varierar beroende på individens yrke, utbildning och personliga intresse.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and compare the motivations and justificationsof teachers of Swedish concerning the teaching of fiction and other longer texts inSwedish 1 at vocational and college preparatory schools. The study aims to answer thefollowing questions: (1) What are the motivations Swedish teachers have concerning theteaching of fiction, and (2) How do teachers of Swedish justify their selection ofmaterials used to teach fiction and other longer texts in vocational and collegepreparatory upper secondary schools? To investigate what motivates teachers ofSwedish concerning the teaching of fiction and other longer texts, and to investigate howteachers justify their selection of materials for such teachings, semi-structured in-depthinterviews were conducted. In the analysis of the empirical material of this study,Malmgren’s theory about three different constructions of Swedish as a subject in Swedishschools, in conjunction with Gunilla Molloy’s fourth addition were used. As a complementto this theory, Witte and Sâmihãian’s paradigm theory was also utilized. Six licensedteachers were interviewed and the results show that the teachers at both vocational andcollege preparatory schools justified the inclusion of reading fiction in the teaching of theSwedish language in different ways based on Malmgren’s theory of three differentconstructions of Swedish as a subject in Swedish schools.

The aim of this study is to see how the Swedish school libraries are affected by influence from other parties, such as teachers, principles and guardians. The research is based on surveys that were sent to school librarians who cater to students in the span of preschool to ninth grade in Swedish schools. Where they answerd questions surrounding removal or relocation of materials, collection development, purchase of materials and the librarians own view on their collection. The theory that will be used to analyze these questions is David Loertschers Taxonomies of the School Library Media Program. In this study referred to as Loertschers Taxonomies. That describes several levels of the school library operatives and the librarian. The results show that the librarians have the responsibility for what materials are in the library, they choose what will be purchased and added to the library collections. It also shows the librarians believe they have a diverse collection that is procured and designed for the students and other staff in the school, according to the librarians.

Syfte och frågeställning Syftet med studien är att utforska hur elever/spelare resonerar kring sina upplevelser om urval och selekteringsprocessen inom NIU-gymnasium samt elitidrott (fotboll och ishockey) på manliga ungdomssidan från 16 år och uppåt. Syftet är vidare att belysa vilka egenskaper elever/spelare upplever är viktigast vid uttagningsprocessen. Frågeställningar: - Hur upplevs selektering och urvalsprocessen i praktiken av elever/spelare? - I vilken mån upplever elever/spelare att rekryteringsansvariga/skolan tar hänsyn till kriterierna varje NIU-gymnasium ska göra inför urval och selektering? Metod Studien har använt sig av en kvalitativ ansats. Detta då studien avsett att undersöka elever/spelares tankar och åsikter kring urval och selekteringsprocessen. En semistrukturerad intervjuguide har använts vid intervjuerna. Sex intervjuer genomfördes, tre personer verksamma inom fotbollen och tre personer verksamma inom ishockeyn. Deltagarna i studien var mellan 16–20 år gamla och har gått eller går på ett NIU gymnasium samt är aktiva inom sin idrott.  Resultat Vad gäller resultatet framkommer det att kontakter inom idrotten är av stor vikt för att ta sig vidare i selekteringsprocessen, även egenskaper som spelförståelse, drivkraft och inställning är viktigt. När det gäller metoder för uttagningsprocessen så nämns tryouter som en väldigt central del men även scouting förekommer. Flertalet av deltagarna upplever orättvisor vad gäller selekteringsprocessen och kopplar oftast det till kontakterna inom sporten. Sett till användandet av de fem NIU kriterierna är upplevelsen bland majoriteten att man oftast bara tar hänsyn till det första kriteriet, idrottsspecifika färdigheter och förutsättningar. De andra kriterierna hamnar oftast i skymundan och man hoppas kunna lösa dessa under resans gång. Slutsats Slutsatsen vi kan dra utifrån studien är att selekteringsprocessen är ett komplext område som väcker mycket diskussioner. Respondenternas upplevelser varierar angående om det sker en rättvis eller orättvis bedömning vid olika urval. Utifrån respondenternas upplevelser lyder slutsatsen att man tagit sig långt i arbetet med selekteringsprocessen, den kritik som dyker upp är att alla spelare bör få fler chanser och inte selekteras bort redan efter en uttagning. / Aim The purpose of the study was to investigate how students/players reason about their experiences of selection and the selection process within NIU high school and elite sports, football and icehockey on the male youth side from 16 years and up. The purpose was also to illustrate whatattributes that are most important in the selection process. The study is based on the following questions: - How is the selection and selection process experienced in practice by students/players?- In what way do students/players feel that the person in charge of recruitment/the school takes consideration to the criteria that each NIU high school must make before selection? Method The study has used a qualitative method. This is because the study is intended to examine students/players thoughts and opinions about the selection and selection process. A semistructured interviewguide has been used in the interviews. Six interviews were conducted, three people were active in football and three people were active in ice hockey. The participants in the study were between 16–20 years old and have attended or are attending a NIU high school and are active in their sport. Results  It appears that contacts in the sport are of great importance to move forward in the selection process, also attributs such as game understanding, drive and attitude are important. When it comes to methods for the selection process, tryouts are mentioned as a very central part, but scouting also occurs. Most of the participants experience injustices regarding to the selection process and usually link it to the contacts within the sport. In terms of the use of the five NIU criteria, the experience among the majority is that they usually only take consideration into the first criterion, sports-specific skills and conditions. The other criteria usually end up in the shadows and the persons who is responsible hopes to be able to solve these during the journey. Conclusion The selection process is a complex area that raises a lot of discussions. The respondents experiences vary regarding whether there is a fair or unfair assessment in different selections. Based on the respondents experiences, the conclusion is that they have come a long way in the work with the selection process, the criticism that arises is that all players should get more chances and not be selected away already after one selection.

Personlighetstest och arbetspsykologisk testning är en växande trend inom rekryteringen av personal i Sverige och internationellt. Många studier har undersökt dessa urvalsmetoders psykometriska egenskaper, validitet och reliabilitet. Få har dock undersökt testtagarnas upplevelser av denna typ av tester. Syftet med denna studie var att bidra till en ökad förståelse för testtagares upplevelser av personlighetstest och arbetspsykologisk testning i rekrytering. Detta med utgångspunkt i validitetsteori med fokus på faking och forskning om rättvisa i urval och testning. Tematisk analys av fem semistrukturerade intervjuer resulterade i två teman Tolkning kontra sanning och Att presentera sig själv i en rekryteringskontext. Det första temat innehöll undertemana Testresultat som diskussionsunderlag och Sanningen serverad. Det andra innehöll undertemana Mjuka upp i kanterna, Man måste hålla linjen och Ingen människa är en ö. Tre av studiens mest centrala resultat var: (1) vikten av kompetens i tolkning och återkoppling; (2) betydelsen av rättvisedimensioner för testtagarnas upplevelser; (3) relationen mellan faking och den unika kontext som en rekryteringssituation utgör.
