Eschatology in African folk religionBako, Ngarndeye 12 1900 (has links)
This study examines the eschatology of issues related to African folk religion. It argues about the eschatological understanding of time with regard to the afterlife, ancestors and the afterlife, Christ the eschaton and the incarnation of Christ as redeeming of the ancestors. Such a model of local theology can result from a comprehensive reflection based on the Scriptures. As such, this study suggests some principles and praxis that appropriately address mission in the African context.

In hierdie prakties teologiese navorsing word daar egter gefokus op geloof as 'n universele verskynsel. Godsdienstigheid spruit ook voort uit geloof, wat impliseer dat geloof nie net "ontvang" word tydens die sogenaamde "bekering" tot 'n bepaalde godsdiens nie, maar dat "bekering" een aspek van 'n dinamiese geloofsvormingsproses is.
Geloofsvorming word in hierdie studie in verband gebring met vier dimensies van mens wees, naamlik kognitiwiteit, sosialisering, affektiwiteit en moraliteit. By wyse van 'n kwalitatief-georienteerde, empiriese ondersoek onder AGS-gesinne, is rigtingwysers gevind wat die vier dimensies se invloed op geloofsvonning aandui. Dit blyk dat geloofsvonning nie primer belnvloed word deur die kognitiewe dimensie nie maar eerder deur die kwaliteit van die sosialisering en van die affektiwiteit in die huisgesin. Alhoewel die gehalte van die moraliteit ook 'n rot speel in geloofsvorming, word moratiteit ook grootliks gebaseer op die kwaliteit van die sosialisering en affektiwiteit. / Faith is traditionally considered to be an extention of religion. In this practical-theological research, faith is rather seen as a universal phenomenon through which life is given meaning. Religion thus arises from faith. This implies that faith is not "received" at a so-called "conversion" to a specific religion but rather is one aspect of a dynamic developmental process of faith.
Faith development is seen in conjunction with cognitivity, socialisation, affectivity and morality. A qualitative-orientated research among AFM-families has given an indication of the influence of these four dimensions on the faith development of children in the family. It seems that faith development is not as much influenced by cognitivity as by the quality of the socialisation and the affectivity in the family. Neste contexto, é promulgada a Constituição Federal de 1988, profundamente ligada à dignidade humana, e eminentemente voltada, portanto, para uma compreensão do Estado como realizador da dignidade humana. As inúmeras ferramentas protetoras das diversas dimensões da dignidade humana, dentre elas a moralidade pública, trazidas pela Constituição Federal de 1988 evidenciam uma compreensão de estruturação sistêmica do ordenamento jurídico conforme valores e princípios direcionados à valorização da pessoa humana. Esta dissertação, assim, fundada na metodologia indutivo-dedutiva e na compreensão sistêmica de unidade axiológica de Canaris, busca consolidar a existência do microssistema jurídico de tutela da moralidade público como o mais adequado para uma tutela jurídica legítima e que efetivamente cumpra a promessa de tutela jurídica. / The protection of public morality is not recent in Brazilian law, receiving constitutional and infraconstitutional protection, but these legal rules (civil, administrative and criminal) haven’t been of much efficiency. In this context, comes the Federal Constitution of 1988, deeply linked to human dignity, and eminently directed, therefore, to an understanding of the state as a provider of human dignity. The numerous legal protective tools of the various dimensions of human dignity, among them the public morality, brought by the Federal constitution of 1988, makes a systemic structure around the values and principles of human dignity. This dissertation, then, based on the inductive-deductive methodology and in the systemic comprehension of Canaris that the neoconstitutional Constitution builds an axiological unit, seeks to consolidate the existence of a valid legal microsystem of the tutelage of public morality as the most appropriate legal instrument legitimated to fulfill the legal promise of protection of the public morality.

A partir de tal estudo, busca-se compreender de que modo a situação específica da mulher na Era Vitoriana é articulada no romance de modo a espelhar a crise ontológica e epistemológica do próprio ser humano diante das transformações consolidadas com o Iluminismo e as revoluções liberais do século XVIII que culminariam na morte de Deus. Dorothea mostra-se uma cristã tão fervorosa quanto a Teresa quinhentista, mas faltam-lhe certezas e a resolução para concretizar as reformas sociais que defende, pois ela encarna o mito de feminilidade oitocentista batizado de Anjo do Lar ideal de sujeição feminina à ordem falocêntrica cujas funções são a proteção e difusão da moralidade burguesa e a substituição de elementos cristãos no universo do sagrado a uma sociedade cada vez mais materialista e insegura de valores absolutos. As aflições de Dorothea representam as aflições da mulher vitoriana, mas o momento crítico desta mulher reflete, em Middlemarch, uma crise muito maior do Ocidente, que teve início com a Era da Razão / The present dissertations purpose is the comparison proposed by George Eliot in the Prelude of the novel Middlemarch between its protagonist, Dorothea Brooke, and the historical character Teresa of Avila. Such study endeavors to understand in which way the specific situation of the Victorian woman is articulated within the novel as to mirror the ontological and epistemological crisis of the human being itself during the transformations consolidated by the Enlightenment and the liberal revolutions of the eighteenth century which culminated in the death of God. Dorothea is as ardent a Christian as the fifteenth century Teresa, but she lacks the certainties and the resolution to concretize the social reforms she defends, because she incarnates the nineteenth century myth of womanhood known as the Angel in the House an ideal of feminine subjection to the phalocentric order whose functions are the protection and diffusion of the bourgeois morality and the replacement of Christian elements within the imaginary universe of the sacred to a society progressively more materialistic and insecure of absolute values. The afflictions of Dorothea represent the afflictions of the Victorian woman, but the critical moment of this woman reflects, in Middlemarch, a much greater crisis in the Western thought, which began with the Age of Reason

Paru en 1932, Les deux sources de la morale et de la religion (Les deux sources) est le dernier ouvrage principal d'Henri Bergson. Il y a de nombreux travaux consacrés à la confrontation de sa philosophie morale et sociale avec la sociologie durkheimienne, mais ils n'examinent pas son mobilisme dans Les deux sources. La réalité est mobile. C'est une idée qui apparaît sans cesse dans ses travaux dans son Essai sur les données immédiates de la conscience (publié en 1889) jusque dans Les deux sources, où il affirme que la morale ouverte est la mobilité même. Le mobilisme est essentiel à sa philosophie morale. De ce point de vue, nous nous proposons de déterminer la position de Bergson vis-à-vis du débat sur la science des mœurs, suscité par l'ouvrage de Lucien Lévy-Bruhl (1903), La morale et la science des mœurs dans les années 1900. There are many works devoted to the confrontation of his moral and social philosophy with Émile Durkheim's sociology. But these works don't explore his "mobilism" in The two sources. Reality is mobile. This is a recurring idea in his work from his Time and Free Will: An Essay on the lmmediate Data of Consciousness (published in 1889) to The two sources, where he asserts that open morality is mobility. Mobilism is essential to his moral philosophy. From this perspective, we propose to determine Bergson's position regarding the debate on the science of morals aroused by the work of Lucien Lévy-Bruhl (1903), Ethics and Morale science (La morale et la science des mœurs) in the year 1900. In this work, Lévy-Bruhl, inspired by Auguste Comte and Durkheim, seeks to establish an objective science of moral reality (which he called "science of morals") by adopting the sociological method, but by removing the "theoretical ethics", which don't observe morale reality, such as theological, utilitarian and Kantian ethics. If we locate The two sources in this historical context, Bergson's moral philosophy might appear as the third stage of moral thought, in relation to the first stage (theoretical ethics) and the second stage (science of morals). If such is the case, this third stage might be called "mobilism", which advances the research of moral reality? This is the assumption that this dissertation is investigating.

Previous issue date: 2016-04-29 / Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) / The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the emergence of industrial practices of PET recycling in
Brazil. A predominantly qualitative research based on the principles of reflexive sociology proposed
by Pierre Bourdieu was developed. Theoretical tools proposed by this author were combined with the
ones of the Strategic Action Fields approach and with insights of the pragmatic sociology of critique.
Primary and secondary data were collected, analyzed and articulated in the historical narrative
presented here. We argue that the configuration of this market was conditioned by moral aspects
associated with the emergence of the environmentalism and also by structural aspects of Brazilian
society. The joint operation of these macro structures explained the rise of the "Brazilian model of
recycling", based on a compromise between economic and environmental objectives, usually embraced
by recycling, and the pursuit of "social inclusion" of recyclable material collectors, who traditionally
accept working in the informal waste collection and constitute the foundations of recycling chains in
the country. The dynamics of soft drinks and municipal solid waste management sectors was also
influenced decisively the emergence and expansion of PET recycling practices. These practices
appeared mainly in the textile, in the paint and resins and PET industries as part of the strategies of the
companies to reduce costs. We found that companies tend to use more intensely moral justifications
associated with recycling in periods of instability. Additionally to the practical understanding about
this recycling market, this study helped to build connections between influential contemporary
sociological approaches of organizational studies and economic sociology and offered novel ways to
use their theoretical tools in empirical research. We highlight the contribution to understanding the
connections between social and moral structures and to make sense of the dynamics relationships of
multiple fields / O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar a emergência das práticas industriais de reciclagem de PET no
Brasil. Realizamos uma pesquisa predominantemente qualitativa com base nos princípios da
sociologia reflexiva propostos por Pierre Bourdieu. Combinando as ferramentas teóricas relacionais
propostas por esse autor, com as das abordagens dos Campos da Ação Estratégica e da sociologia
pragmática da crítica, dados primários e secundários foram levantados, analisados e articulados na
narrativa histórica aqui apresentada. Argumentamos que a construção desse mercado é condicionada
tanto por aspectos morais associados ao surgimento do que é conhecido como ambientalismo quanto
por aspectos estruturais da sociedade brasileira que influenciam decisivamente sua configuração. A
operação conjunta desses mecanismos é que possibilita explicar a ascensão do chamado “modelo
brasileiro de reciclagem”, baseado em um compromisso entre objetivos econômicos e ambientais, que,
em geral, estão abarcados na reciclagem, e a busca pela “inclusão social” dos catadores de materiais
recicláveis, tradicionalmente “dispostos” a trabalhar com a coleta informal dos resíduos e que formam
a base das cadeias de reciclagem no país. As dinâmicas da indústria de refrigerantes e do setor de
gestão de resíduos sólidos municipais também influenciaram decisivamente o surgimento e expansão
das práticas de reciclagem, que passaram a ocorrer, sobretudo, nas indústrias têxtil, de tintas e resinas e
do PET como parte das estratégias das empresas para reduzir custos. Verificamos que essas empresas
tendem a se utilizar mais intensamente das justificativas morais associadas à reciclagem em períodos
de instabilidade dos seus referidos campos. Além da compreensão prática dos mercados de reciclagem,
o estudo revelou conexões entre as estruturas sociais e as estruturas ideais e possibilitou a
compreensão da dinâmica da relação entre campos.

The present study aims to investigate the relationship of social norms in the expression of prejudice in children from 5 to 8 years old. The central idea of the work is that the recognition of general rules/norms by the children is directly connected to moral and cognitive development, taking them to also recognize the anti-racist social norms. This recognition is fundamental because the variations of expression of prejudice by children are connected to the identification and acceptance process (internalization) of antiracist social norm. In order to achieve the initial goal, 80 white children from 5 to 8 years old of both genders were investigated - about their knowledge of morality, social norms and prejudice. The form of evaluation was made from an union of parts of 4 instruments already validated. The instrument formed is all didactic and with illustrative material, because the research is conducted with children and is necessary to keep their attention. Some predictions have guided this work: a) From the age of seven, children demonstrate safely the recognition of general rules; b) The norms of the participants themselves (personal norms) for white and black groups did not differ from norms of the reference group (social norms) for these groups; c) participants aged over seven years old tend to discriminate against black target in the absence of the interviewer and not in the presence. The results are discussed in the light of the theories of social norms and racism in childhood and in conclusion, it is stated that this research presents a collaboration for the development of theories about social norm and the influence of the norm in the forms of expression of racial prejudice. / O presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar a relação das normas sociais na expressão do preconceito em crianças de 5 a 8 anos de idade. A ideia central deste trabalho é a de que o reconhecimento de regras/normas gerais pelas crianças está ligado diretamente ao desenvolvimento moral e cognitivo, levando elas a reconhecerem também as normas sociais antirracistas. Esse reconhecimento é fundamental já que as variações de expressão do preconceito pelas crianças estão ligadas ao processo de identificação e aceitação (internalização) da norma social antirracista. A fim de atingir o objetivo inicial, 80 crianças brancas de 5 a 8 anos de idade de ambos os gêneros foram investigadas a respeito do seu conhecimento sobre moralidade, normas sociais e preconceito. A forma de avaliação foi feita a partir de uma junção de partes de 4 instrumentos já validados. O instrumento formado é todo didático e com material ilustrativo, já que a pesquisa foi feita com crianças e é necessário manter a atenção delas. Algumas predições orientaram esse trabalho: a) A partir dos sete anos de idade as crianças demonstrariam com segurança o reconhecimento de regras gerais; b) As normas das próprias participantes (normas pessoais) para os grupos brancos e negros não se diferenciam das normas do grupo de referência (normas sociais) para esses grupos; e c) Participantes com idades superiores a sete anos de idade tenderiam a discriminar o alvo negro na ausência da entrevistadora e não na presença. Os resultados são discutidos à luz das teorias das normas sociais e do racismo na infância e, em conclusão, afirma-se que esta pesquisa apresenta uma colaboração para o desenvolvimento de teorias sobre norma social e a influência da norma nas formas de expressão do preconceito racial.

individuals and complex division of labor. It is considered an evolutionary puzzle, because the
theory of evolution by natural selection predicts that self-interested individuals tend to be selected.
Different theories have been proposed to explain the evolution of cooperation, which the most
important are kin selection and reciprocal altruism. Considering the evolutionary continuity
between species, humans and other primates have several common traits that help to promote
cooperation between individuals of these species. Two features, however, seem to be particularly
humans: inequality aversion and preferences in relation to others. Although human cooperation is
not necessarily related to morality, cooperative traits are the basis for moral tendencies. The
development of human morality is a combination of early prosocial tendencies, cooperative skills
displayed at different ages, social learning and cultural transmission of norms. The social stimulus
seems to be particularly important in promoting cooperative behavior in children and adults. In
order to study the influence of social stimuli, as verbal feedback, on children cooperation, a study
was conducted with children in a public goods game. 407 children from public schools in Natal /
RN, divided into 21 groups, between six and nine years, participated in eight rounds of this game.
After each round, seven groups received praise for larger donations, seven groups have been
criticized by smaller donations, and the other seven received no comment. Children cooperated
more when criticized, without significant differences between sexes, although young children have
cooperated more negative than older children. The results are likely related to the anticipation and
avoidance of punishment associated with the feedback (although this did not occur), and greater
sensitivity to the authority in younger children. Nevertheless, the cooperation decreased in all
groups until the last day of play. The results suggest an early sensitivity to moral punishment,
whose role in the maintenance of social relations must have been important in the evolution of

This work has the purpose to study the principle of administrative morality, especially as to their content, as well as regarding how best to operationalize its interpretation / application. In this goal, it is evident the need for eticizar Public Administration, the Administrator and their respective acts performed in the exercise of public service, it can not allow the definition of what is ethical in a rule of law is fully open to arbitrary decisions . Against this background, we seek to answer with this study the following questions: the definition of the principle of administrative morality content has limits? And, if so, what are those limits and what are the parameters / methods suitable to be used during the process of interpretation and application of the principle of morality? It is in order to overcome these issues that the research will be developed. So, will begin with brief distinctions between Ethics, Morality and Law, presenting philosophical currents that sought to evaluate the relationship or separation of binding legal and moral systems over the years, ending the first part with some critical considerations as post-positivism, pointing to the need to establish interpretive parameters, especially in a postmodern context marked by pluralism and thirsty for increased security, including legal. The following will be addressed-the set of principles, while study of legal principles, addressing some definitions, distinctions between the rules, principles and normative postulates. In addition, the main functions of principles will be presented and attempts to demonstrate its importance in contemporary legal system, without, however, forget the need to reference point in the act of interpreting them and apply them in specific cases. Finally, the third and final chapter, it is a matter-of analyzing the legal principle of administrative morality, with some definitions, a history on the world stage and later in the Brazilian domestic level until you reach the treatment given to this principle by the Charter Magna 1988. In addition, even in the third chapter, will be differentiated juridicizada the morality of common morality; is also checked the question of the interpretation and application of the principle of morality, presenting a method and parameters aimed at greater legal certainty in achieving this hermeneutical process, concluding with the study of public administration in contemporary times and the role of the principle of administrative morality. Use it will, therefore, as theoretical references studies of Ronald Dworkin and Robert Alexy. Moreover, to achieve the purpose, the theoretical research will be performed after literature of scientific contributions on the subject, as well as documentary research, through the analysis of legislation and case law. Furthermore, the method to be used is the deductive, that part of inferences and general ideas for application to real situations, and the technical procedures to be used will be the thematic analysis and interpretation. / O presente trabalho tem por escopo estudar o princípio da moralidade administrativa, em especial quanto ao seu conteúdo, bem como no que tange a melhor forma de operacionalizar sua interpretação/aplicação. Nesse desiderato, se é notória a necessidade de eticizar a Administração Pública, o administrador e seus respectivos atos praticados no exercício da função pública, também não se pode permitir que a definição do que seja ético em um Estado de Direito esteja completamente aberta a decisões arbitrárias. Diante desse panorama, busca-se responder com o presente trabalho aos seguintes questionamentos: a definição do conteúdo do princípio da moralidade administrativa possui limites? E, em caso afirmativo, quais seriam esses limites e quais seriam os parâmetros/métodos adequados a serem empregados durante o processo de interpretação e aplicação do princípio da moralidade? É com o propósito de superar essas questões que a pesquisa será desenvolvida. Assim, iniciar-se-á com breves distinções entre a Ética, Moral e Direito, apresentando correntes filosóficas que buscaram avaliar a relação de separação ou de vinculação dos sistemas jurídico e moral ao longo dos anos, encerrando a parte inicial com algumas ponderações críticas quanto ao pós-positivismo, apontando a necessidade de se estabelecerem parâmetros interpretativos, mormente em um contexto pós-moderno marcado pelo pluralismo e sedento por maior segurança, inclusive a jurídica. A seguir, abordar-se-á a principiologia, enquanto estudo dos princípios jurídicos, abordando algumas definições, distinções entre as regras, os princípios e os postulados normativos. Além disso, serão apresentadas as principais funções dos princípios, buscando demonstrar sua importância no sistema jurídico contemporâneo, sem, contudo, esquecer-se da necessidade de balizamentos no ato de interpretá-los e aplicá-los em casos concretos. Por fim, no terceiro e derradeiro capítulo, tratar-se-á de analisar o princípio jurídico da moralidade administrativa, apresentando algumas definições, um histórico no plano mundial e, posteriormente, no plano interno brasileiro até chegar ao tratamento conferido ao referido princípio pela Carta Magna de 1988. Ademais, ainda no terceiro capítulo, serão diferenciadas a moralidade juridicizada da moralidade comum; será também verificada a questão da interpretação e aplicação do princípio da moralidade, apresentando um método e parâmetros voltados a conferir maior segurança jurídica na realização desse processo hermenêutico, concluindo com o estudo da Administração Pública na contemporaneidade e o papel desempenhado pelo princípio da moralidade administrativa. Utilizar-se-á, para tanto, como referências teóricas os estudos de Ronald Dworkin e de Robert Alexy. Outrossim, para a concretização do intento, será realizada a pesquisa teórica, após levantamento bibliográfico de contribuições científicas sobre o assunto, bem como a pesquisa documental, por meio da análise de legislações e jurisprudências. Outrossim, o método a ser utilizado será o dedutivo, que parte de inferências e ideias gerais para aplicação a situações reais, sendo que os procedimentos técnicos a serem usados serão a análise temática e a interpretativa. / Mestre em Direito Público

The goal of this diploma is to discover, how employees percive ethics and morality as an component of human resources management. For my survey were selected three farming businesses and one institution of public administration. I have chosen these businesses because of their diverse specialization. I made a guestion form which was given to 96 employees. In the first part of this diploma work I summarized theoretical infotmation about ethics, morality and human resource management. In methodology, there is description of questionary method and dialogue which I used. In the next capitol I am descibing individual guestions. Each answer was put down into the graph. The results and discussion follow after the graph. Ethics and morality are not priotity in most of ours farming businesses. The top management staff must learn, that these important parts of human resource management are the key in their way to success. In the institution of public administration are ethics and morality part of human resource management for a long time. But there are still some problems in this dilemma. The ethics code is matter of course. But the top management should be more open to their employees and give them more respect and recognition.
