[en] DIGITAL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES USES AND MEANINGS IN THE CONTEXT OF DESIGN TEACHING AND LEARNING / [pt] USOS E SENTIDOS DE TECNOLOGIAS DIGITAIS DE INFORMAÇÃO E COMUNICAÇÃO EM CONTEXTOS DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM NO DESIGNBARBARA JANE NECYK 06 September 2013 (has links)
A questão
do próprio campo. / [en] Our daily life is pervaded by the use of digital information and communication
technology, a fact that also takes place in the education arena. The design
teaching activity has absorbed a series of computerized resources in recent decades.
The recognition that the Design field has an ideological character makes
us think about how designers perform in society. This research is situated at the
intersection of technological issues as applied to education with the ideological
character of the design activity. Aiming at contributing to the understanding of
multiple possibilities of designers performance in society, this study raises the
subjective dimensions of the teaching and learning activities through technological
mediation. The question of the extent to which teachers make use of Design
subjective dimensions arising from the use of digital technologies permeates
the whole research. The teaching and learning practices observation took place
in Design undergraduate classes at PUC-Rio, in which a triadic relationship between
teachers, students and digital technologies happened. The field research
was based on the principles of qualitative research and participant observation.
The interactional sociolinguistics approach was also used in order to help the interpretation
process of collected data. The question of subjectivity – understood
as collective, polyphonic and heterogeneous – is based on Guattari and permeates
and underlies the whole study. In this research, Heidegger and Simondon
are authors who bring basic concepts for the understanding of the relationship
between man and technique. It has been verified, among other observations, that
the use of digital information and communication technology in the pedagogical
context proved to be a significant expression of the Design field as well as a representation of the field itself.

[en] EXPERIMENTING DIFFERENT WAYS OF BEING IN VIRTUAL REALITY: A POSITIVE VIEW OF CONTEMPORARY SUBJECTIVITY / [pt] BRINCANDO DE SER NA REALIDADE VIRTUAL: UMA VISÃO POSITIVA DA SUBJETIVIDADE CONTEMPORÂNEADANIELA ROMAO BARBUTO DIAS 30 May 2007 (has links)
A maioria destes,
todavia, lança sobre o
sujeito contemporâneo um olhar bastante crítico e
negativo. Discordando
Nesta pesquisa,
procurei indícios de
transformações subjetivas a partir do uso que eles faziam
desses programas.
as
características subjetivas por mim detectadas em meus
entrevistados e
aquelas do sujeito contemporâneo tal como descritas por
Sherry Turkle,
problema, no entanto,
indubitavelmente
negativo, o da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Inspirando-me em
[en] Since the end of the 20th century, a large number of
publications has dealt
with the political, economical and technological changes
that have been going on.
All of theses macro-changes have also generated
transformations on the micro
(or subjective) level, a fact which has been registered by
several authors. Most of
these, however, tend to view the contemporary subject from
a negative and
critical perspective. Disagreeing with the latter
position, in the present work I try
to analyze the contemporary subjective transformations
from a positive viewpoint.
In order to reach this objective, I departed from a
qualitative investigation
conducted with 16 users of interactive programs on the
Internet, looking for
indications of subjective transformations in the use they
made of such programs.
Results revealed many similarities between the subjective
characteristics I was
able to detect in my interviewees and those of the
contemporary subject as
described by Sherry Turkle. This was true mainly in what
concerns the
experience of multiplicity, which she has interpreted as
the co-existence of
multiple selves. Such an interpretation, however, seemed
problematic to me. In
order to describe the contemporary subject, Turkle had
based her reasoning on a
pathological model - that of the multiple personality
disorder. Resorting to Ian
Hacking´s work on multiple personalities, I tried to
deconstruct Turkle´s idea that
it is possible to use a pathological model in a non-
pathological way to describe a
healthy subjective organization. Then, I proceeded with
the presentation of a few
concepts proposed by Donald Winnicott, an author who
managed to see in a
positive light a number of subjective characteristics that
resulted from an
undoubtedly negative context, that of World War II.
Inspired by his ideas, I tried to
show that the Internet may be used by the contemporary
subject as a potential
space, a space for play. Having in mind all these
reflections and discussions, I reexamined
the results of the investigation which acted as a point of
departure. It
was able to show that, because on chats users can have
many nicknames and
be anonymous, on them they have the opportunity to play
and experiment being
more than one. Nevertheless, this does not imply the
existence of multiple
selves. Finally, I argue that, from this kind of play may
emerge something much
more interesting: a stable virtual identity.

[en] LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE: THE SINGULARITY OF THE PERCEPTION OF SCHOOL CONTEXT BASED ON THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF WITTGENSTEIN AND BAKHTIN / [pt] LINGUAGEM E EXPERIÊNCIA: A SINGULARIDADE DO OLHAR PARA O CONTEXTO DA ESCOLA A PARTIR DAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DE WITTGENSTEIN E BAKHTINELAINE DECCACHE PORTO E ALBUQUERQUE 16 June 2008 (has links)
escola. Para contemplar esse interesse, o presente estudo
desenvolveu o tema da
experiência subjetiva como produção singular e
permanentemente inacabada, a
[en] The work in a school offers the opportunity to think about
the complexity
of issues that involves the construction of knowledges
associated with the
construction of bonds of intersubjective relationships.
This research focused in the
unique and incessant production of subjective experience
that expresses itself in
life and, in this particular case, among the collective
practices that are part of the
polyphonic scenario of a school. This work developed the
theme of the subjective
experience as a singular and permanently unfinished
production, with the
contributions of the thoughts of Wittgenstein and Bakhtin,
two philosophers of
language. Inside this perspective, language, as a cultural
practice that
characterizes our humanity, redefines the interiority of
this experience recognizing
it as unique and, at the same time, determined by the
characteristics of a certain
historical and cultural time. In this study, we deal with
the concepts of ethics and
aesthetics, both strong references inside the philosophies
of language of
Wittgenstein and Bakhtin. These concepts allowed the
expression of a way of
looking at the experience at school and faced a kind of
tension in the approach of
the singularity of subjective production and it's
construction as action and
reflection.

[en] THIS MUSIC IS FROM OUR COMMAND: A STUDY OF FORBIDDEN FUNK / [pt] A MÚSICA QUE TOCA É NÓS QUE MANDA: UM ESTUDO DO PROIBIDÃOMAURICIO DA SILVA GUEDES 23 May 2007 (has links)
visita e porta-voz
de seus interesses. / [en] Forbidden funk or proibidão is a subclass of funk music,
produced
mainly in the slums and hills of Rio de Janeiro. The
present dissertation analyses
the contents of proibidão lyrics and shows that this
musical phenomena is a
product of the joining of funk with drug dealing groups
which dominate those
territories. Such production seems to be used by drug
dealers in broadcasting their
ideas and exalting their actions, strengthening the
faction members´ identity,
expressing their hatred and causing terror to their
enemies. Such criminal groups
use two strategies to spread their purposes: producing and
selling forbidden
funk CDs and promoting community dance parties, which
serve as much as
entertainment for the local youth as for selling drugs. In
both cases, the role of
MCs is indispensable for issuing such product. Forbidden
funk, peculiar by the
symbolic aggressiveness, besides being adored by young
people, presents-itself as
a weapon at the service of drug dealers, used as business
card and speaker on
behalf of their interests.

[pt] As revoluções tecnológicas resultaram em grandes
transformações no
a
qualquer hora. A vida
respostas
rápidas para as
demandas constantes do seu dia-a-dia. O celular tornou-
eles. Na análise das
entrevistas pode-se verificar ainda o surgimento de
novos
hábitos, a partir da
utilização constante do celular, tais como a
administração
da casa e da família à
distância e a possibilidade de trabalhar remotamente. / [en] Technological revolutions have brought about dramatic
changes in the world
and in the ways people live, think, behave and feel. The
purpose of the present
study is to understand how the arrival of cell phones has
affected the ways
employees in the contemporary labor market live their
private and professional
lives. For this purpose, professionals who have children
and whose cell phone
accounts are paid for by their companies were interviewed.
All of them lived and
worked in Rio de Janeiro. Their answers showed that there
is no frontier between
their professional and private lives; cell phone use makes
their working and
professional lives mingle. In addition, the results
revealed that the lives of those
who took part in the present study have become more agile
due to the fact they
can both work and contact their homes and family at any
time, no matter where
they are. However, these professionals, who can also be
easily reached by means
of their cell phones, feel that they have to be available
to their employers all the
time in order to quickly solve their daily demands by
phone. The cell phone, in
the same way as the computer and the e-mail, has become a
working tool. The
interviewees admitted they could not imagine their daily
lives without those tools.
The interviews also showed that new habits have been
created as a result of the
constant use of those tools. Among these new habits are
the administration of
home and family from any distance and the possibility of
work remotely.

[pt] Esta dissertação toma as obras cinematográficas de
Lucrecia Martel,

Lucrecia Martel,
Argentinean contemporary director, investigating the
proposed aesthetics of her
films, thoroughly grounded in the idea of ruin and

notions of the body as instrument of thought, and of the
experience of the sensible
and of existence, the thesis observes how Lucrecia Martel
confers new vigor to
the field of subjectivity.

[en] THE WRITTEN AS AN EXERCISE OF COUNTER-POWER: AN ANALISYS OF LOBO ANTUNES INQUISITORS MANUAL / [pt] A ESCRITA COMO EXERCÍCIO DE CONTRAPODER: UMA ANÁLISE DE O MANUAL DOS INQUISIDORES, DE ANTONIO LOBO ANTUNESJOBSON LOPES DOS SANTOS 25 May 2005 (has links)
escrita subjetiva as inovações do modernismo aliadas à
reatualização dos elementos básicos
da tradição narrativa. / [en] Power is not restricted to the exercise of power; it has
also a productive nature that is manifested
particularly as a subjective production linked to the
inner universe of the subject. The subjectivity produced
by power tries to create a fixed image of the subject and
society in order to keep social structures
unaltered. The resistance to power, called here counter-
power, must therefore question this static view
through another subjective production that expresses
itself in the novel by the use of a particular form of
writing. To identify the elements of this form of writing
as counter-power practices - a decentralized,
polyphonic and polychronic writing - is the aim of this
thesis, a study that finds the origin of this new
subjective writing in the innovations of Modernism,
together with a renewal of the basic elements of the
narrative tradition.

[en] SUBJECTIVITY, ETHICS, POLITICS: FROM THE LIMITS OF THE SUBJECT TO THE SUBJECT AT THE LIMITS / [pt] SUBJETIVIDADE, ÉTICA, POLÍTICA: DOS LIMITES DO SUJEITO AO SUJEITO NO LIMITENATALIA MARIA FELIX DE SOUZA 26 August 2011 (has links)
[en] The dissertation turns to the thoughts of Immanuel Kant and Michel
Foucault in order to establish a comprehension on the relations that could be
traced between the elements of subjectivity and politics. It will try to identify in
Kant’s work the terms through which the modern subject was assimilated to a
model of autonomy, which would be its only guarantee of fulfillment. He will be
seen as a theorist of limits, authorizing the frontiers that separate what is human
from what is not, doing it by minimizing politics to a technical instrumentality in
favour of a universal ethics of law. By pointing to the impossibilities of this
model, as well as to the insufficiency of a politics framed in these terms, the
article will move, then, to a reading of Foucault’s oeuvre. Its author will be found
negotiating at the frontiers, but, differently from Kant, refusing its stabilization
through appeals to a universality. In this sense, his thought will be investigated in
order to pin down which keys allow thinking about politics in less totalizing
schemes, moving beyond the model of a rational subject identical to itself.

[en] This paper explores the different methods for introducing psychoanalytic knowledge into the modern institutional care system, with focus on the CAPS Network substitutive services in Mental Health. It seeks to define and evaluate the origns and evolution of these practices and facilities that aim to implament the
proposed Psychiatric Reform in Brazil. Some of the fundamental aspects and social dynamics of clinical assistance and mental health care are established in order to better define the challenges of extended clinic in this context. This research considers clinical trials undertaken by professionals in Brazil to develop a model of group psychotherapy able to address the needs and requirements inherent in the current institutional public health system, while meeting clinical demands and providing individual treatment plans for the users/patients. The modern development of group techniques in psychoanalysis is discussed. In addition, group therapy - as a clinical and technical device capable of delivering positive results - is supported both in terms of the social rehabilitation of patients, as well as in the the subjective clinic.

[en] FROM THE SKIN EGO TO THE OWN BODY: CORPOREITY AND SUBJECTIVITY IN ANZIEU AND MERLEAU-PONTY / [pt] DO EU-PELE AO CORPO PRÓPRIO: CORPOREIDADE E SUBJETIVIDADE EM ANZIEU E MERLEAU-PONTYFERNANDA BROCKMANN VANASSI 14 July 2017 (has links)
[en] We developed this research aiming to understand the role of the body and the sensitive experiences in the constitution of subjectivity, based on the concepts of Skin ego and own body in Anzieu and Merleau-Ponty, respectively. By analyzing the essencial aspects of both theories it is possible to understand, firstly, that the ego derives from our sensitive experiences and, secondly, that the body not only organizes the sensory data, but also provides meaning to our experiences. In addition, we highlight the relational aspect of the subjectivation process, once both authors pointed out to the fact that corporeity, which is fundamental to psychological, emotional and cognitive development, presupposes another underlying factor: the experience of the Other. Therefore, we gather that both Anzieu and Merleau-Ponty explain psychogenesis from the perspective of intersubjectivity, which is marked by our sensitive experience, shared in an intercorporal and interpersonal space, a common world from where subjectivities can emerge.
