Eriksson, Maria January 2012 (has links)
This essay is about the shootings that took place in Malmö 2010.

Moberg, Anna, Nilsson, Malin January 2016 (has links)
2015 saw a sharp rise in unaccompanied children seeking asylum. This is due to turmoil in many parts of the world. The rise has brought housing problems for Sweden’s municipalities, with more housing and treatment facilities started as a result. A study was conducted, motivated by ethnography research. Participants were observed on three occasions, in two separate wards in a HVB resident for unaccompanied boys. Health promoting activities were observed, to gain an understanding of them for use from a pedagogic perspective. This was done using a sociocultural perspective in teaching, study analysis, as well as health in general. Through a health discourse perspective, the purpose of the study was to analyze health awareness in the children. The categories for the analysed results reflected the health promoting activities that were encouraged during the study. The study was analysed using the following six categories Punctuality, Us and them, Team spirit and getting along, Reduced sugar consumption, Following rules and independence, as well as Double standards. The results showed that the current health discourse is founded on a subconsciously overall perspective on health. Housing and HVB resident staff have the aim to create possibilities for the children to develop into independent individuals. It can be seen as a field that needs to be improved in practice, through staff education. Relevant data is lacking, further research is needed into what action is required to help the children reach independence.

Its objective is to work as a liaison between its members and their original province. Japan has 47 provinces and there are 47 associations of this kind in Brazil, which are formed by a Nikkei Brazilian citizen public. Those Japanese rooted associations are strongly connected to the provinces of their founders. Considering that its been fifty years since the closing of the Japanese immigration period in Brazil happened, period when it was developed a process of adaptation and inclusion of these immigrants in the Brazilian society, how do they present themselves? As Brazilian entities or Japanese ones? This thesis investigates the cultural identity which is built by these Kenjinkai in Brazil through the discourses of their institutional websites. The theory and methodology of narrative and discoursive semiotics were chosen to analyze three kenjinkai's websites. From the perspective proposed by the Cultural Studies about the construction of cultural identity trough the discourse, we concluded that the actor of enunciation of Kenjinkai in Brazil is A Brazilian actor and has a cultural Brazilian identity.

Tomorros High School - A direction by means of a Modernistic or a Late modern perspective?

Roudén, Magnus January 2010 (has links)
This empirical work and base has been to analyze the new high school reform that the Swedish government introduced as a statement 2008/09:199 about: Higher demand and quality within the high school. This statement became legal through the government vote in spring 2010. But above all it is the investigation (SOU 2008:27) that is the central piece for these new examination changes for high school students that will come into effect 1 of July 2011. The purpose and questions asked in this analyze has been if the reform takes its base in a modernistic (traditional) way or a late modern scientific perspective. And also to find out how these new quality amendments in the investigation makes visible about the high school and what the purpose are about the changes.   When scientific theories in these analyze is placed against the reform, the result shows that the modernization process reflects more of a late modern aspect, which constantly reappraise in a changeable society. The ambition with the reform is to meet the reflexivity of the individual mind. The collaboration between the consumer and school principals, high demanding adaption to working life and explicit examination goals for the students emphasizes the demand on quality. The students can be signified as dynamic market products, more adaptable and linked to a thinking entrepreneur. This will be the primary mission for the high school. The result also shows that the adaption and individualism is two sides of the coin, and that is what this reform tries to capitalize on. In spite of a more regulated and explicit demand on education – it’s the individual reflexivity of an entrepreneur with more options that has to see and understand the dynamic possibilities that calls on the open market.
