Thomsson Wejnefalk, Elinore January 2024 (has links)
This text is written with the purpose of examining the preschool's harmony and disharmony. What is happening in moments of interaction with others, children and educators, what is it in today's preschool that stands in the way of this interaction, and what will be the consequences of the development that leads us farther and farther away from this interaction? This text begins with three stories where in the first two I portrayed two situations of interaction, one from my experience of the world of music and one from the preschool. The third describes what will illuminate one of the essay's more conflicting situations. In my text, I have produced an analogy between the preschool's practice and the musical practice, initially with the aim of letting music be supportive in explaining the unseen and the elements that can be difficult to understand in the preschool, but this work has come to featurethe musical sphere increasingly throughout the text’s development. The experience of the music has been able to explain situations in preschool, putting words to phenomenon that sems to be without words, but it has also let the musical aspect itself be explained. In my investigation of the harmony, I have mainly been inspired and led by Marcia Sá Cavalcante Schuback's collection of essays Praise to nothingness - essays on philosophical hermeneutics. Her description of nothingness and its events through inspiration, influence and improvisation has taken me and the text on a journey in how interaction in preschool can look and what it can create. Through her text, self -transformation has become a central concept in my text and thoughts. As I have come to the study of disharmony, I have looked at Foucault's concept of discourse. The discursive formations that have been and continue to be creating the preschool curriculum and conditions, and here I have also looked at the consequences of the increasingly efficiency, quality- and production-focused preschool that we see today. Marx's thoughts on alienationhave been allowed to lead the text's reasoning about the consequences of this development and I conclude my text by asking myself and you as a reader:"What will happen to our children?

Döden på Tomhetens Fält : Döden, Intet och det Absoluta hos Nishitani Keiji och Nishida Kitarō

Zetterberg, Theodor January 2018 (has links)
This paper examines the role played by death in the philosophy of Nishitani Keiji, through the nondual logic of contradictory identity developed by his teacher and founder of the Kyotoschool of philosophy, Nishida Kitarō. I explore Nishitani’s understanding of how Nothingness, nihility, through our awareness of death penetrates and nullifies existence itself, how the irreality of all being comes to the fore to make being itself unreal. The nullifying nothingness of nihility, however, is still nothingness represented as a something; it is a reified nothing, defined as the antithesis to being and thus still seen as a corollary of being itself. A truly absolute nothingness, what Nishitani calls Śūnyatā, emptiness, must be a nothingness so devoid of being as to not even be nothing; it must be absolutely nothing at all, and thus nothing else than being itself. The final chapter of my paper seeks to apply this nondual understanding of being and nothingness to the question of death itself; to understand the ontological meaning of death - the passage from being to non-being - when being and non-being have been one from the very beginning. The paper also seeks to blur the lines between what has traditionally been considered philosophy and religion, using the thinking of the Kyoto school to point to the deeper ties between the two in the borderland that is buddhist philosophy.

Bergbäck, Maria January 2019 (has links)
“When a system gets cold, then images can warm it up - a vitalising journey using storytelling as part of a management system”. This essay wants to show that the rational language used in management and governance needs to come alive. I have spent a long time in business, moving from a rational programming mind to becoming a reflective storyteller, and I now use the metaphorical language of storytelling to add life and vitality to organisations. The form of an essay is used to reflect on practical knowledge and one’s own proficiency. I used storytelling in a workshop to deepen the significance and meaning of a company’s vision. The method reveals, through the process, the management team’s practical knowledge. The method and my own practical knowledge are in a hermeneutic spirit compared to contemporary philosophers. The development of rational thinking and its counterforces are explored. The possibilities of leadership within an organisation’s structures is compared to management research. It leads to the conclusion that the metaphorical language is a language that opens spaces in-between, “the nothingness” and as such opens a tear to the vitality of leaders. Metoden synliggör i processen lednings-gruppens praktiska kunskap.

Sorgens Separatism

Klein, Xenia January 2017 (has links)
