This study examines how Swedish hip hop lyrics between the years 2019–2020 depict the social life in the suburb. The study is divided into two different parts, the first of which analyzes general themes, categories and concepts in hip hop texts through an overview of 50 different songs. The second study analyzes five popular hip hop texts based on a qualitative text analysis. / Den här studien undersöker hur svenska hiphoptexter mellan åren 2019–2020 skildrar det sociala livet i förorten. This study examines how Swedish hip hop lyrics from the 1990s and 2010s portrays the social life, first and foremost in the suburb. The study consists of two parts, the first is a more general study of which themes and categories appear in the lyrics through an overview of 90 different hip hop songs. The second part of the study is focusing on analyzing different processes in change from the 1990s to the 2010s hip hop lyrics. The material of this part consists of 5 songs from the 1990s and 5 songs from the 2010s, that through a qualitative text analysis presents different changes in discourses.

Syftet med förevarande undersökning är att bidra med en djupare förståelse om hur rasifierade kvinnor framställer sina autobiografiska berättelser utifrån tre feministiska poddar. För att genomföra undersökningen kommer studien att använda sig av Pierre Bourdieus (1997) teoretiska ramverk om kapitalteori samt teoretiska begrepp fält och doxa. Ramverket centraliserar sig även kring feministen Sara Ahmeds postkoloniala ståndpunkter gällande hur tecken och koder resulterar i att känslor klibbar sig fast på olika grupper av människor och värden skapas (Ahmed, 2011).  Genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys undersöker jag podcastprogrammen The Broad Experience, Unladylike, Call Your Girlfriend. / The purpose of the present study is to contribute with a deeper understanding of how women of color present their autobiographical stories through podcasting. To conduct the study I will be using a theoretical framework based on Pierre Bourdieus’s (1997) capital theory and Bourdieus’s theoretical concepts of field and doxa. The study’s theoretical framework also centralizes around the feminist Sara Ahmed's postcolonial viewpoint regarding how codes result in emotions that sticks to different groups of people (Ahmed, 2011).

Skolskjutningar eller andra skolattacker är tack och lov inte så vanliga i Sverige men då och då sker attacker, senast i Malmö i mars 2022. Det förväntade kunskapsbidrag som detta examensarbete är tänkt att bidra med är att presentera vad forskningsfältet säger om skolattacker runt om i världen mellan 1999–2021. För att kunna presentera forskningsfältet var syftet med detta arbete att göra en litteraturöversikt om skolattacker mellan 1999 – 2021 utifrån begreppen: School shooting, social exclusion, social isolation och bullying. Via denna sökning var syftet att försöka kartlägga vilka anledningar som förklaras ligga bakom attackerna, presentera om det finns en koppling mellan marginalisering och skolattacker samt sammanställa vad forskningen beskriver som framgångsfaktorer i skolors arbete kopplat till området. Ytterligare en aspekt som detta arbete syftade till att presentera i litteraturöversikten var vad forskningen säger om den specialpedagogiska rollen och arbetet i förhållande till marginaliseringen. Ansatsen till syftet tas genom följande frågeställningar: Vilka kopplingar mellan skolattacker och marginalisering presenteras i forskningen mellan 1999 – 2021?Vad visar forskningen för framgångsfaktorer i skolors arbete med att på individ-, grupp- , organisations- och samhällsnivå, motverka marginalisering av elever i skolan?Hur beskriver forskningen den specialpedagogiska rollen och arbetet i förhållande till marginaliseringen? För att göra litteraturöversikten användes SMART-metoden av Claes Nilholm som utgångspunkt för att sammanställa och på ett tydligt presentera resultatet. För att analysera resultatet och besvara de tre olika forskningsfrågorna användes tre olika teoretiska perspektiv som utgångspunkter: kritisk eller kategoriskt perspektiv, pragmatiskt perspektiv och verksamhetsteori. Resultatet visade att uttrycket marginalisering inte är vanligt förekommande och när, används det för att beskriva individer. I resultatet framkommer inte heller något om det specialpedagogiska perspektivet och inga beskrivningar av specialpedagogers arbete. Inte heller presenteras det några framgångsfaktorer som vilar på en vetenskaplig grund. De framgångsfaktorer som presenteras är främst riktade till individen genom psykologer och kuratorer. Vidare ges ett exempel på framgångsfaktor i form av förebyggande arbete som spänner hela vägen från samhälls- till individnivå genom möjligheten att ge anonyma tips. De specialpedagogiska implikationer som detta arbete är tänkt att bidra med är insikt om ett tomrum i informationen om hälsan för elever i skolan och betydelsen av specialpedagogens arbete. Denna uppsats är ett bidrag till forskningsfältet genom att sätta fingret på ett område som behöver utvecklas. Det blir synligt att resurser behövs för översyn och förändring av den psykosociala skolmiljön och här har specialpedagogen en roll att fylla.

of diploma thesis Title: Strangers at home - In Search of Indigenous Identity at the Suburbs of a Glocal Mexican City Student: Marie Heřmanová Tutor: Mgr. Radovan Haluzík The presented thesis is based on a fieldwork realized during five months in the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas in south of Mexico and deals with different strategies through which are young Tzotziles and Tzeltales living in the new suburbs of the old colonial city constructing their identity. Main axes of the thesis are first the relationship of these young people to the native communities of their parents and second to the rich and turistic city centre. As a main ethnographic method I use participant observation and also the material culture studies ( the tesis focus mostly on identification through visage and consequently on the consitution of identity through styles and modes of dressing).

Ce mémoire vise à comprendre le développement identitaire des personnes Noires LGBTQ+ dans le contexte québécois. Cette population vit plusieurs formes de marginalisation structurelle et interpersonnelle en raison à leur positionnement social intersectionnel, ce qui peut avoir des impacts nocifs sur leur capacité de s’affirmer. En se basant sur l’analyse interprétative phénoménologique en tant que cadre théorique et méthodologique, six personnes Noires et LGBTQ+ résidant au Québec ont été convoquées à des entrevues individuelles semi-structurées virtuelles d’une durée d’entre 90 et 120 minutes. Elles ont été recrutées par le biais des affiches de recherche diffusées sur les réseaux sociaux (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), ainsi qu’aux organismes communautaires œuvrant auprès des populations Noires et LGBTQ+ au Québec. Elles ont explicité les contraintes au développement d’une identité cohérente ainsi que les facteurs ayant contribué à leur capacité de s’affirmer en tant que personnes Noires LGBTQ+ au Québec. Leurs réponses éclaircissent les facteurs clés qui ont un impact sur leur capacité d’affirmer pleinement leurs identités, autant positif que négatif. On découvre que le cloisonnement de leurs identités leur est imposé socialement et qu’un soutien intersectionnel peut leur permettre de réconcilier davantage leurs identités Noires et LGBTQ+. Les résultats de cette étude ont des implications importantes pour le travail social, démontrant que la profession peut agir comme vecteur de changement positif pour les personnes Noires LGBTQ+ du Québec. Notamment, on propose des mesures qui peuvent être mises en place pour favoriser le développement d’une identité cohésive pour cette population. / This thesis aims to understand the identity development of Black LGBTQ+ people in Quebec. This population experiences many forms of structural and interpersonal marginalization due to their intersectional social positioning, which can have harmful impacts on their ability to assert themselves. Using phenomenological interpretive analysis as a theoretical and methodological framework, six Black LGBTQ+ individuals residing in Quebec were invited to participate in virtual semi-structured individual interviews lasting between 90 and 120 minutes. They were recruited through research posters posted on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), as well as in the spaces of community organizations working with Black and LGBTQ+ populations in Quebec. Respondents explained the constraints to the development of a coherent identity as well as the factors that contributed to their ability to assert themselves as Black LGBTQ+ people in Quebec. Their responses shed light on the key factors that impact their ability to fully affirm their identities, both positive and negative. It is discovered that the compartmentalization of their identities is socially imposed on them, and that intersectional support can enable them to further reconcile their Black and LGBTQ+ identities. The results of this study have important implications for social work, demonstrating that the profession can act as a vehicle for positive change for Black LGBTQ+ people in Quebec. In particular, it highlights various measures that can be put in place to foster the development of a cohesive identity among this population.
