Categorias como Memória e Tempo, Ser e Narrativa são mobilizados em favor da construção de uma dinâmica, mediada tecnologicamente, entre o Singular e o Transversal. A trama entre real e virtual se refaz ou reapresenta na medida em que a internet e os meios audiovisuais tecem narrativas ora singulares, ora transversais constituindo um definido Lugar de Memória. Esse lugar é reapresentado como um objeto que se manifesta e se torna operacional entre a teoria e a empiria, como um lugar da prática, do projeto, do cuidado. Para chegar a esse resultado, a pesquisa exige iniciativas colaborativas, locais, comunitárias (em especial na rede social Facebook). A mídia digital torna-se experiência de criação e apropriação da memória pela comunidade de Batatuba - Piracaia/SP. Um personagem e as intrigas de sua trajetória: Jan Antonin Bata e seu legado: a vila operária, a fábrica. A mediação dialógica e digital revela-se efetiva e o trabalho teórico se traduz em reapresentações das lembranças, das identidades em narrativas, num jogo entre singular e transversal que atualiza a memória e contribui para a postulação de outras narrativas e projetos / Categories such as Memory and Time, Being and Narrative are mobilized in favor of building a dynamic, technologically mediated sphere between the Singular and the Transversal. The connections between the real and the virtual reconfigure or re-present the narratives (singular or transversal) constituting a definite \"Place of Memory\". This place is re-presented as an object that manifests itself as well as becomes na operational level between theory and empiricism, as a place for new practices, projects and care. To reach this result, the research requires collaborative local initiatives, community-led (especially on Facebook). Digital media becomes an experience of creation and ownership by the community of memory related to Batatuba - Piracaia / SP. O presente estudo teve como objetivos traçar um panorama do cotidiano vivido dentro de uma penitenciária feminina do estado de São Paulo e mostrar um olhar interior sobre a condição da mulher encarcerada. O trabalho baseou-se na experiência vivida pela pesquisadora enquanto exercia a função de psicóloga junto a uma organização não governamental que realizava oficinas temáticas dentro de penitenciárias femininas paulistas. Procurou-se na perspectiva da psicologia social, delinear questionamentos e compartilhar reflexões produzidas na vivência com as presas, assim como realizar tentativas de elaboração teórica destes. Foram re¬ferenciais teóricos neste trabalho principalmente as obras de Wright Mills, Simone Weil, Hannah Arendt e Ecléa Bosi. Foram recursos nesta pesquisa principalmente os conteúdos de cartas redigidas por mulheres internas nesta unidade prisional bem como registros de informações coletadas, situações vividas, observações e falas ocorridas no dia a dia da instituição / This study aimed to draw a broad view of the daily living within a female prison in the state of São Paulo and illustrate an insiders perspective of the condition experienced by the incarcerated woman. The study was based on the researchers experience whilst working as a psychologist alongside an NGO that carried out thematic workshops in female penitentiaries located in São Paulo. From a social psychology perspective, the aim was to outline the raised questioning and share the thoughts created whilst being in the presence of the prisoners, as well as attempting to develop the theory of such questioning and thoughts. The works of Wright Mills, Simone Weil, Hannah Arendt and Ecléa Bosi were referenced throughout this study. The resources used in this research were mainly the contents of letters written by women inside this prison unit, in addition to information records collected, actual lived situations, comments and everyday conversations that occurred on the day-to-day of the institution

Por meio da análise de dez relatos, este trabalho procura entender os motivos pelos quais pequenos proprietários de terras e moradores de zonas rurais, no interior ou no entorno de Unidades de Conservação (UCs), apresentam dificuldade em conviver com a legislação ambiental. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada na cidade de Aiuruoca (MG), onde existem duas UCs: a APA (Área de Proteção Ambiental) Serra da Mantiqueira e o Parque Estadual Serra do Papagaio. A realização da pesquisa justifica-se por motivos que vão além de oferecer às populações rurais condições de permanência em seus locais de origem, levantando questões a respeito do tema preservação ambiental, que interessa a toda a sociedade. As opções teóricas e metodológicas utilizadas para captação e análise dos relatos centram-se na história oral e em conceitos como memória, identidade, experiência e estereótipos. O entendimento da problemática analisada pretende ser uma contribuição para a elaboração de linguagens alternativas em educação ambiental de adultos residentes em zonas rurais brasileiras. As conclusões apontam para a utilização de formas narrativas na elaboração dessas possíveis alternativas como uma maneira de amenizar a resistência dessas populações ao que não faz parte das formas tradicionais de produção agropecuária e manejo de suas propriedades. / Through the analysis of 10 stories, this work looks for to understand why small land proprietors located in agricultural zones, countryside regions or around of UCs (Units of Conservation), present difficulty in coexisting the environment legislation. The field research was in the city of Aiuruoca, Minas Gerais, where there are two UCs: the APA (Area of Ambient Protection) Serra da Mantiqueira and the Parque Estadual Serra do Papagaio. The accomplishment of the research was for reasons that go beyond offering to the agricultural populations conditions of permanence in its places of origin, raising questions regarding the subject environment preservation, that it interests all society. The theoretical and methodology options used for captation and analysis of the stories are centered in verbal history and concepts as memory, identity, experience and stereotypes. The analyzed agreement of the problematic intends to be a contribution for the elaboration of alternative languages in environment education of resident adults in Brazilian agricultural zones. The conclusions point with respect to the use of forms narratives in the elaboration of these possible alternatives, as a way to minimize the resistance of these populations what it is not part of the traditional forms of farming production and handling of its properties.

O contexto de aceleração tecnológica, individuação e sobrecarga informacional gera uma fragmentação dos indivíduos e do coletivo, pressionando os fluxos da narrativa e da experiência em seus níveis ontológico, público, conceitual e metanarrativo. Esse contexto produz mais choques do que damos conta de significar, mais estímulos do que podemos processar sem elevar drástica e cronicamente nossos níveis de ansiedade: choque de futuro e ansiedade de informação, em uma corrida no gelo fino dos contextos líquido-modernos. Quando, olhando adiante, vemos avançar em nossa direção a difusa imagem da entropia informacional, dos choques contínuos e da impossibilidade da significação, voltamo-nos para o território da significação já produzida, a retrotopia. Nela, avançamos na neblina, com os olhos no passado, o novo território das expectativas frente a um futuro incognoscível. Este estudo exploratório relaciona o contexto descrito com os processos semióticos (para significação individual e coletiva) para que haja retomada nos fluxos narrativos em suas dimensões. Essa trajetória é a narrativa em ação pela reintegração social no futuro enquanto território de sentidos e expectativas compartilhadas. Por fim, avalia documentalmente a relação dos conceitos investigados no caso Facebook-Cambridge Analytica, para identificar dinâmicas dessas correlações na sociedade contemporânea. / The context of technological acceleration, individuation and informational overload generates a fragmentation of individuals and the collective, putting pressure on the flows of narrative and experience in their ontological, public, conceptual and metanarrative levels. This context produces more shocks than we have the ability to make meaningful, more stimulus than we can process without elevating dramatically and chronically our levels of anxiety: future shock and information anxiety, in a race above the thin ice of liquid-modern contexts. When, looking ahead, we see the diffuse image of informational entropy, continuous shocks, and the impossibility of signification, we turn towards the territory of signification already produced, retrotopia. In it, we advance in the mist, with our eyes on the past, which is now the new territory of expectations in the face of an unknowable future. This exploratory study relates the context described with the semiotic processes (for individual and collective signification) so that it can be resumed in the narrative flows in its dimensions. This trajectory is the narrative in action for social reintegration into the future as a territory of shared meanings and expectations. Finally, it evaluates documentarily the relationship of the concepts investigated in the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica case, to identify dynamics of these correlations in contemporary society.

Orientador: Jean Marcel Carvalho França / Banca: Denise Aparecida Soares de Moura / Banca: José Carlos Barreiro / Resumo: A pesquisa que se segue promove um mapeamento dos relatos de naufrágio em língua portuguesa, relatos que mencionam as viagens à carreira da Índia nos séculos XVI e XVII, com intuito de analisar o momento de coexistência, tensão e diálogo entre os conhecimentos tradicionais e livrescos, da cultura antiga e medieval, com os novos conhecimentos modernos, mais pragmáticos, baseados na experiência. A hipótese central que norteia nossa pesquisa é de que o mar, que até então era um espaço relacionado ao medo, às ilhas imaginárias, aos monstros marinhos, ao abismo e às figurações infernais, passa também a ser relacionado aos infortúnios experimentados durante as viagens: a fome, a sede, as calmarias, as doenças, as tempestades e, sobretudo, os naufrágios. Partindo desta hipótese, ao mapear esses relatos, buscamos, paralelamente, saber qual era o estatuto e a circulação do escrito analisado na sociedade portuguesa do período. Quem era e como se situava socialmente quem o escreveu. E, por fim, quais concepções sobre a vida de bordo e sobre os mares navegados estavam sendo construídos. Dito de outro modo, a análise que ora propomos realizar deve ser entendida como um procedimento que procura, fundamentalmente, verificar a forma como os discursos se entrecruzam e estabelecer, dentro de séries, suas regularidades discursivas / Abstract: This research promotes a mapping on the reports about shipwrecks written in Portuguese - such reports mentions the trips on the route to India in XVIth and XVIIth centuries - and attempts to analyze the point of coexistence, tension and dialogue among traditional and bookish knowledge of ancient and middle age culture with the new modern attainment, more pragmatical and based on experience. The main assumption that leads our research is that the sea (which was, by that time, a space related to fear, to imaginary lands, to sea monsters, to abyss, and hellish figures) becomes related to the casualties experienced during a sea trip: the starvation, the thirstiness, the calmness, the diseases, the storms and mainly the shipwrecks. From this hypothesis, by mapping those reports, we parallelly search to know which was the usage and circulation of the analyzed writings on that matter among Portuguese society by that time, its author and its social position. Finally, we look for which conceptions about the life on board and on the sailed seas were being formulated. In other words, the analysis we now intend to do should be interpreted as a procedure that fundamentally aims to verify the forms in which the discourses cross mutually and establish its discursive regularities in series / Mestre

Partimos da hipótese de que as mudanças no cenário externo reverberam na formação subjetiva dos indivíduos, pois, sendo seres biopsicossociais, têm o atravessamento da cultura como marca intrínseca. Sendo assim, o objetivo principal desta tese é lançar um olhar para as manifestações do sofrimento psíquico infantil na atualidade, a partir da escuta do discurso das famílias que buscam atendimento no contexto da saúde pública, num ambulatório de saúde mental infantil do interior do estado de São Paulo. Para tanto, foi utilizado como método de coleta de dados, a entrevista conjunta e para a escrita das histórias, as narrativas psicanaliticamente orientadas. Compreendemos assim que as mudanças nas estruturas familiares que, atualmente vivenciam a realidade da formação monoparental feminina assim como a fragilização da figura paterna modificam o ambiente da criança em duplo sentido, pois a relação entre mundo interno e externo encontra falhas primordiais e repetidas para a construção do si mesmo e da continuidade do ser. Assim, refletimos sobre as condições destas famílias em ancorarem o desenvolvimento psíquico destas crianças. Concomitante a isso, há um cenário em que a medicação e a psiquiatria tradicional estão fortemente estabelecidas, fazendo com que ... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Since the earliest studies of childhood psychotic suffering, many questions have been raised, especially in the economic and social order, which also leads to changes in the formation of the symbolic universe of children. We start from the hypothesis that the changes in the external scenario reverberate in the subjective formation of the individuals, because, being biopsychosocial beings, they have the crossing of the culture like intrinsic mark. Thus, the main objective of this thesis is to take a look at the manifestations of childhood psychic suffering in the present time, from the psychoanalytically oriented listening in the context of public health, in a mental health outpatient clinic in the interior of the state of. In order to do so, it was used as method of data collection, the joint interview and for the writing of the stories, the psychoanalytically oriented narratives. We thus understand that the changes in family structures that currently experience the reality of female one-parent formation as well as the weakening of the paternal figure modify the child's environment in two directions, since the relationship between internal and external world encounters primordial and repeated failures for the construction of the self and of the continuity of being. Concomitant to this, there is a scenario in which medication and traditional psychiatry are strongly established, making psychoanalytic listening appear as an important working tool to understand the symptom beyond the nosological description, but as a path that points to a type of suffering existence. This discussion has become an important thermometer for reflection on contemporaneity as an environment in which children perform their symbolic exchanges. Esta tese trata a respeito de uma abordagem criativa específica em mídias digitais: o emprego expressivo da autoria procedural (isto é, da criação ou manipulação de algoritmos). Esta abordagem, denominada aqui como expressividade procedural, difere fundamentalmente do emprego do computador unicamente para emular formas e linguagens tradicionais. Nossa investigação inclui estudos práticos realizados no contexto do projeto Playing Beowulf (University College London), no qual trabalhei como parte da equipe de pesquisa e desenvolvimento do MissionMaker, um aplicativo educacional para criação de narrativas e jogos digitais. Esperamos com esta tese contribuir na compreensão sobre o uso expressivo da autoria procedural em mídias digitais, e no seu papel fundamental na realização da expressividade própria deste meio. / This thesis is about a specific creative approach in digital media: the expressive use of procedural authorship (i.e., the creation or manipulation of algorithms). This approach, which we call procedural expressiveness, distinguishes itself in a fundamental manner from the use of computers solely to emulate traditional forms and languages. Our investigation includes practical studies conducted in the context of the Playing Beowulf project (University College London), where I worked as part of the research and development team of MissionMaker, an educational software for creating digital narratives and games. With this thesis we hope to contribute in understanding the expressive use of procedural authorship in digital media, and its fundamental role in achieving the unique expressiveness of this medium.

Este trabalho teve por finalidade contar a história da presença do Candomblé no Mato Grosso do Sul. Partindo da análise de narrativas de expressões orais estabelecidas numa rede de saberes dentro do campo da História Oral, esta pesquisa analisou várias histórias de vida de pais e mães de santo desta religião presente no estado, o que permitiu entender a formação de uma genealogia dos filhos de santo que ajudou a reconstruir a trajetória da formação desse Candomblé. Por meio do trabalho de campo realizado em duas principais cidades - Campo Grande e Corumbá - foi possível estabelecer um ponto de partida para contar esta história, bem como, apresentar algumas particularidades das experiências religiosas desse povo de santo, além de demonstrar a articulação em nível nacional que estes espaços religiosos chamados também de barracões ou terreiros possuem. O Candomblé do MS dialoga com vários estados brasileiros, desde São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Pernambuco e até o continente Africano, demonstrando que o seu nível de integração e articulação permite um envolvimento grande dentro da cultura afro-brasileira. / The aim of this paper is to tell the story of the presence of Candomblé in Mato Grosso do Sul. Based on the analysis of narratives of oral expressions, established in a network of knowledge within the field of Oral History, this research paper analyzed many life stories of pais e mães de santo of this religion in this state, which enabled us to understand the formation of a genealogy of the filhos de santo, which helped to rebuild the trajectory of the formation of this Candomblé.Through fieldwork in two major cities - Campo Grande and Corumbá it was possible to establish a starting point for telling this story,as well as, present some particularities of the religious experiences of this povo de santo, and to demonstrate the articulation at national level these religious spaces, also called barracões or terreiros, have. The Candomblé of MS dialogues with several brazilian states, from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Pernambuco and to the African continent, demonstrating that its level of integration and articulation allows a large involvement in the african-brazilian culture.

A presente pesquisa possui como objetivo principal o estudo da relação existente entre fãs e narrativas transmídia a partir do mecanismo de transportation, entendido como um processo convergente no qual quase todos os sistemas e capacidades mentais dos indivíduos são direcionados aos eventos que ocorrem em uma narrativa, sendo este um constructo-chave para mudanças de crenças, atitudes e comportamentos. Para tal empreitada, utilizamos como metodologia a aplicação das escalas desenvolvidas originalmente por Green (1996) e Williams et al (2010) para narrativas escritas e audiovisuais respectivamente, as quais foram devidamente adaptadas e validadas psicometricamente para o contexto nacional. Sendo assim, efetuamos dois experimentos: no primeiro (n = 140), foi estudada a relação entre fãs e narrativas do livro de um universo ficcional transmídia, e no segundo (n = 187), foi estudada a relação entre fãs e narrativas dos filmes deste mesmo universo em questão. Como resultados, obtivemos que apesar das narrativas utilizadas como estímulo fazerem parte do mesmo universo multiplataforma, cada uma delas possui um perfil diferente de fã correspondente; já em relação aos fatores associados ao fato do indivíduo ser fã dessas narrativas, tivemos a idade, o sexo (somente no experimento 2), o \"transporte\" situacional e a compatibilidade das crenças como variáveis que aumentam a probabilidade dele se tornar um fã, o que significa que elas aumentam consideravelmente suas chances de consumir as narrativas deste universo em mais de uma plataforma de mídia, de participar de comunidades online e de realizar pelo menos uma das atividades características dos fãs - fanfiction, e-zine (fanzine), fanarts, fanvídeos, cosplay, fanhits e discussão em fóruns online -, o que sustenta a definição de fã proposta pelo presente estudo. Além disso, implicações teóricas e empíricas também são discutidas e uma série de sugestões futuras de pesquisa enfatizadas. Desse modo, concluímos que o enfoque cognitivista aqui proposto se mostra como uma alternativa interessante no estudo do fandom transmidiático contemporâneo, cujas pesquisas se concentraram, nas últimas décadas, dentro do campo de atuação dos estudos culturais. / This research has as main objective the study of the relationship between fans and transmedia storytelling from the transportation construct perspective, understood as a convergent process where almost all of mental systems and capacities of individuals become focused on the events that occur in a narrative, being a key mechanism of attitude, belief and behavior change. For this venture, we use as methodology the application of the original scales developed by Green (1996) and Williams et al (2010) for written and audiovisual narratives respectively, which were duly adapted and psychometric validated to the national context. Thus, we performed two experiments: in the first (n = 140), we studied the relationship between fans and the narratives of books of a transmedia fictional universe, and in the second (n = 187), we investigated the relationship between fans and the narratives of movies of this same universe. As results, we had that although the narratives used as stimulus belong to the same fictional universe, each one has its own fan profile corresponding; in relation to factors associated with the fact that the individual be a fan of these narratives, we had age, gender (only in experiment 2), the situational transportation and story consistent beliefs as variables that increase the likelihood of this person becoming a fan, which means that they greatly increase the chances of this person consuming the narratives of this universe in more than one media platform, participate in online communities and achieve at least one of the characteristic activities of the fans - like fanfiction, e-zine (fanzine), fanarts, fanvideos, cosplay, fanhits and discussion in online forums -, which supports the fan definition proposed by this study. Furthermore, theoretical and empirical implications are also discussed and an avenue of future research suggestions emphasized. Thus, we conclude that the cognitive approach proposed here is shown as an interesting alternative in the study of contemporary transmedia fandom, whose research has focused, in recent decades, within the field of cultural studies.

Do profundo laço afetivo do pesquisador com as pessoas surdas e na busca por melhor compreender as condições ofertadas de existência plena e digna para estes é que se partiu para o testemunho das narrativas de alguns de seus pais: um casal e duas mães, todos moradores da Grande São Paulo na contemporaneidade, pais de três adolescentes/adultas surdas. O objetivo desta tese foi pensar o que de mais importante estas trajetórias parentais singulares poderiam revelar sobre as condições simbólicas e materiais ofertadas para que surdos alcancem experiências humanas de realização de si no mundo comum. A metodologia de campo utilizada foi a de entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas em dois encontros cada. As referências teóricas que orientaram a presente tese foram: a) o ser humano como um alguém portador de rosto único que para alcançar criativamente um si-mesmo demanda ethos humano encarnado por um Outro em situação; b) a narrativa como manifestação cultural privilegiada para a expressão do singular/universal; c) o pesquisador enquanto um ativo criador/intérprete/narrador compromissado com a politização da esfera pública. A partir destas referências, desenvolveu-se o conceito teórico de aparicao e criou-se o dispositivo cena para a metodologia de análise. Este dispositivo foi usado para revelar ao leitor as principais características do universo surdo contemporâneo através de cinco cenas surdas introdutorias e para apresentar as passagens mais marcantes presentes nas narrativas dos pais entrevistados doze cenas surdas parentais. Estes dois blocos de cenas surdas foram analisados à luz do conceito de aparição. Os resultados encontrados foram: 1) as narrativas facilitam experiências de aparição; 2) o dispositivo cena é uma rica metodologia de análise para estudar a aparição de um alguém ou grupo humano em quaisquer pesquisas em ciências humanas; 3) as pessoas que assumem viver o papel parental ontologicamente anseiam por reconhecimento ético e por sua própria aparição; 4) os pais que conseguem constituir um profundo laço afetivo com seus filhos demonstram grande expectativa de que estes também alcancem aparição e, por isso, seria possível pensar a qualidade das condições de aparição experienciadas pelos filhos através do que mais profundamente aflige e interroga seus pais; 5) e, por último, os surdos anseiam por melhores condições de aparição na situação contemporânea da Grande São Paulo essencialmente em quatro assuntos inter-relacionados: 5.1) identificação exata de sua condição orgânica e que esta não os negue relacionalmente na demanda apresentada por seu rosto; 5.2) garantia da oferta de um instrumento linguístico pleno, acessível e cotidiano; 5.3) acesso aos saberes portados e facilitados por presença ética; 5.4) amparo humano que sustente a construção de sua presença singular no mundo. Nas considerações finais, manifesta-se a esperança de que estes resultados possam tanto sensibilizar seus leitores/interlocutores para uma realidade situacional delicada e dificultadora da aparição de surdos, quanto politizar a esfera pública, de tal modo que melhores condições para a aparição destes no futuro possam existir no mundo comum. / Based on the deep emotional bond with deaf built by the researcher and seeking to better comprehend the conditions offered to live a full and dignified life, the testimony of some parents narratives was collected: a couple and two mothers, all of them living nowadays in the Greater São Paulo area and parents of three deaf teenager/adult women. The main goal of this thesis was to consider what these singular parental trajectories could reveal about the material and symbolic conditions offered to deaf people to reach human self-realization experiences in the common world. The field methodology used was the conduction of semistructured interviews which took place in two meetings. The theoretical references that have guided the present work were: a) the human being as someone owner of an unique visage that, in order to creatively reach itself requires a human ethos embodied by an Other in situation; b) the narrative as a cultural manifestation privileged to the expression of the singular/universal; c) the researcher as an active creator/interpreter/narrator committed with the politicization of the public realm. Based on these references, the theoretical concept of apparition was developed and the scene device was created for the analysis methodology. This device was used to reveal to the reader the main characteristics of the contemporary deaf world through five deafs preliminary scenes and to introduce the most remarkable stretches found in the parents narratives twelve deafs parents scenes. These two deafs scenes blocks were analyzed using the concept of apparition. The results found were: 1) narratives ease apparitions experiences; 2) the scene device is a rich methodology for the analysis of someones or a human groups apparition in whatever research in human sciences; 3) people who admit being in the parental role ontologically expect ethical recognition and for their own apparition; 4) parents that are able to create a deep emotional bond with their children show great expectation to reach apparition themselves, and, because of that, one should think of the quality of the apparitions conditions experimented by the children through what most afflicts and interrogates their parents; 5) and, at last, deaf people are anxious for better conditions of apparition in the contemporary context in the Greater São Paulo area, essentially in four interrelated subjects: 5.1) exact identification of their organic condition and hoping that this condition will not deny them in the demand presented by their visage; 5.2) assurance of a full, accessible and quotidian linguistic tools availability; 5.3) access to the knowledge facilitated and brought by the ethic presence; 5.4) human support to hold the construction of their singular presence in the world. In the final considerations, the hope that these results could both sensitize readers/actors to a delicate situational reality that makes the apparition of deaf people difficult; and politicize the public realm in such a way that it could bring better conditions for their apparition in the future in the common world.
