Autoconcepto Personal y Regulación Emocional en Role-players entre 18 y 35 años de Lima Metropolitana / Personal Self-Concept and Emotional Regulation in 18 to 35-years-old role-players from Lima

Llagas Ochoa, Marisol Katherin 25 January 2021 (has links)
The main objective of this study is to relate personal self-concept and emotional regulation in Peruvian adult role-players. The Personal Self-Concept Questionnaire (Goñi, 2011) and the ERQ Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (Gross y Jhon, 2003) were applied to a group of 310 Peruvian participants, between 18 and 35 years of age, and with 88% of sex female. It was found that the Personal Self-concept variables have a positive correlation with cognitive reappraisal, this being the most used regulation tool. Furthermore, there is a negative relationship with the dimension of emotional suppression. Likewise, role-players with an idol-kpop character have higher scores in personal self-concept, especially in autonomy and honesty, compared to furry role-players. / Tesis

Němcová, Lenka January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of human game, from several points of view, namely philosophical, pedagogical and didactic. The work is structured into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the philosophical considerations concerning the game phenomenon, where the game is based mainly on the ontological principle and the game theory, which is analyzed by selected authors. The second part then deals with the game used in the pedagogical processes, or the game as a teaching method in the field of social science and its importance in teaching at primary and secondary schools. The practical part is focused on simulation games implementation within the social science - education.

Det var en gång... : En undersökning om hur ett narrativ kan användas som en konstpedagogisk metod / Once upon a time... : A study into how a narrative can be used as a method in the art pedagogic field

Karlsson, Allie January 2020 (has links)

Taming Amorphalia : An interactive documentation about the development of ProjectMorpheo through fiction

Mag, Eszter January 2023 (has links)
Taming is an experiment and a written assignment about the development of ProjectMorpheo, which was my degree project at Stockholm University of the Arts. ProjectMorpheo is a participatory experience designed to explore the fragile connections between the content of our dreams and the physical materials that surround us. To give a chance for contemplation the project uses meditation and an experimental form of a contemporary puppetry technique: material animation. Taming Amorphalia is a fictional documentation of the intrapersonal happenings, the experiments and experiences that influenced me during the development of ProjectMorpheo. The aim is to introduce the intuitive process behind the project through the form of a text based RPG.

Ravnskov, Lars January 2009 (has links)
My thesis concerns how pupils in comprehensive school look upon their own learning and motivation during a musical project. The purpose is to describe this, connect it with the schools values and get an understanding of the connection between learning and motivation. This research is based on qualitative interviews with ten eight graders from two different classes and this method is also backed up by observations. The answers from the interviews are then structured after certain themes. The pupils in the project develop their knowledge by being asked to make their own interpretations that are subsequently illustrated in role plays in front of an audience. This way of teaching is appreciated by the pupils as it also gives room for social intercourse. They train their cooperative abilities as well as problem solving, organizing and improvising abilities. Language training while examining their own identity also enters into this project and they learn to become aware of different connections. They develop independent thinking, to have influence and be responsible while they train practicing democratic principles and they get motivated by the more liberal forms for working with improvisations on their own responsibility, cooperating with problem based tasks, the social value of working together and the presentation of the project in front of and audience. Their learning develops out of their own experiences and they become more skilled in improvising solutions the more experience they get. Learning and motivation enter into a symbiosis the more time that passes and the pupils become motivated while gradually realizing that they are all dependent on one another. This creates a collective sense of loyalty which in turn facilitates the learning process.

[..] "No, I make the decisions now, listen to me now!" [..]  : A qualitativestudy of children’s different positions and how they constitute power and resistanceand how this turn enables influence in role play based on Klara Dolk’s interpretationof Michel Foucault’s theory.

Olsson, Tuva-Lisa, Hammarling, Lova January 2022 (has links)

Designing An Experiential Web-based Learning Model To Deliver The Acquisition And Application Of Knowledge To Hospitality Event

Hogg, James 01 January 2010 (has links)
Most hospitality institutions have increasingly moved classes online but are concerned about migrating classes and instructional content online. The concern is most Web-based models are designed to deliver the acquisition of knowledge but lack the ability to transform that knowledge into applied career skills for practical use in the industry. The purpose of this study was to test a new Web-based instructional model. The model supported delivering both the acquisition and application of knowledge. Educators, researchers, and practitioners can utilize the new model to enhance the application of career skills and enhance organizational objectives by providing just-in-time training. The new Web-based instructional model can be delivered through multiple platforms including computers, electronic devices, wireless devices and mobile devices. The application of knowledge was delivered through experiential role-play exercises delivered live to the comparison group and virtual, inside Second Life, to the treatment group. An Analysis of Co-Variance (ANCOVA) revealed a significant difference between groups with higher application scores for the students who received the role-play live compared to virtual. In addition, an analysis was conducted to explore factors to consider when examining the cost effectiveness of Web-based instructional content. Factors determined to be important were developmental costs, delivery costs, and reusability of the Web-based instruction.

Dramatic Expressions: The Use of Drama and Role-play in five Swedish ESL Classrooms / Dramatiska Uttryck: Användandet av Drama och Rollspel i fem svenska ESL-klassrum

Olsson, Axel, Dabbous, Niam January 2024 (has links)
Spanning over 2 000 years, teaching languages through drama is nothing new. Despite promising international research on the topic of teaching English as a second language (ESL) through drama, few to no studies have been conducted to assess its pedagogical value in the Swedish elementary school context. The national curriculum in Sweden promotes playful learning, with drama being included as a viable teaching activity for English in grades 4-6. Through five semi-structured interviews, this study explores how teachers in Sweden employ drama and role-play-based methods, but also how they perceive these method’s impact on students’ language skills. A thematic analysis of the teacher interviews suggests that drama and role-play can have positive effects, both in terms of academic skills development and in terms of affective factors related to the English subject. However, the teachers express concern that drama can give rise to unwanted behavior and bullying, which underlines the importance of a safe and supportive classroom environment before implementing drama-based tasks. Overall, the results seem to be in line with previous research on the topic and may thus be of relevance to the Swedish educational context. This study’s main limitation is its sole reliance on teachers who have a positive attitude towards drama and role-play. Therefore, further research could involve teachers who have used drama-based methods but found dissatisfying outcomes.

Effect of role-play as a formative assessment technique on job performance

Munyai, Ndanduleni Norah 06 1900 (has links)
The objective of the research was to investigate an improvement in job performance when role-play is used as a training and assessment tool in a sales call centre environment. The research was conducted by means of a competence assessment used at different stages (Quality Assurance Performance Management Questionnaire). The final stage was two weeks after the learners who had qualified to be sales agents had entered a real working environment. At this final stage, calls were retrieved and rated against the Quality Assurance Performance Management Questionnaire (QAPMQ). A sample of 40 novice sales agents (learners) were selected and randomly divided into the control and experimental groups. The research findings indicated that if planned well, role-play can be an effective training and assessment tool. / Industrial & Organisational Psychology / M.Comm.
