REEL ME : När home movies flyttar hemifrån – Om vloggar som en del i filmhistorien / REEL ME : When home videos leave home - On vlogs as a part of film historyCarlsson Gras, Emelie January 2017 (has links)

Sakernas internet - En säkerhetsrisk : En kvantitativ studie om privatpersoners kunskap gällande IoT-enheters säkerhetJohansson, Christer, Andersson, Viktor January 2021 (has links)
With the constant growth of units connected to the internet, it’s becoming more and more common for private persons to get these units into their homes. With easier accessibility to smart units that can be connected straight to your smart home, and at the same time can make your everyday life easier, may also be the greatest securityrisk of your life. The focus of this essay is about the internet of things-units (IoT-units) that’s considered a large securityrisk. This work is made as a quantitative study about security deficiencies among private persons regarding IoT-units. The data produced from this work can be used as an answer of what a private person needs to be more vigilant of when it comes to IoT-units, and also what actions the manufacturing industry need to take for the connected community to be secured. To delve into this, we have chosen to use the methods literature study and a questionnaire study that will be performed to obtain data to answer our questions. Analysis has been made about what can be seen as an IoT-unit, what security deficiencies there are and then account for how to counteract these risks with help of knowledge. The result of the answers from the surveys and the picture we have received after a search for a sustainable and a more secure solution is that some knowledge exists, although not to the extent needed. The conclusion that can be drawn after the analysis of surveys and in the previous research how it should proceed in the current situation is that significantly more resources need to be spent on the right information for the right purpose, when it comes to this important IT-related issue.

Posouzení odtokových poměrů na toku Loučná v k.ú. obce Dašice / Assessment of runoff conditions on flow in the cadastral area of DašiceJanovská, Michaela January 2018 (has links)
This thesis is aimed at assessment of drainage conditions at the river Loucna in the cadastral area of Dasice. The examined section is 3,88 km long and runs through out of the city and in the city of Dasice. On the left bank of the river there are several historic buildings that are potentially at risk for 100 years of flow. Capacity assessment is performed using the 1D mathematical program HEC - RAS in which the flow model is created and the calculation of the flow rates for individual N - year flows. On the basis of the results of the program is conducted conceptual desing of flood protection measure. At the same time is conducted conceptual desing of fish ladder on the weir and a sluice closure on the intake for the race.

Efekt hem arginátu na akutní infekci HIV-1 a na reaktivaci latentní infekce / Effects of heme arginate in HIV-1 acute infection and in latency reversalPrakash, Shankaran January 2016 (has links)
The available antiretroviral compounds can effectively suppress the replication of HIV-1 and block the disease progression. However it is impossible to eradicate the virus from the organism as the HIV-1 integrated in the genome is not affected by the existing anti-HIV-1 drugs. Therefore, new latency reversing agents are being actively developed as part of "shock and kill" therapy to reactivate the provirus and clear the reservoir. Normosang (heme arginate; HA) is a human hemin- containing compound used to treat acute porphyria. Heme is physiologically catabolised by heme oxygenases to form iron (Fe2+ ), carbon monoxide (CO) and biliverdin that is further converted to bilirubin by biliverdin reductase. In this study, we have demonstrated that HA inhibited HIV-1 replication during the acute infection, which was accompanied by the inhibition of reverse transcription. On the other hand, HA synergised with phorbol myristyl acetate (PMA) and reactivated the HIV-1 provirus in ACH-2 cells and the HIV-1 "mini-virus" in Jurkat cell clones A2 and H12. HIV-1 ''mini-virus'' was reactivated also by HA-alone. Further, we have studied the effects of heme degradation products on latent HIV-1 reactivation when added individually. We employed addition of ascorbate to generate Fe2+ , resulting in an increased...

Trådlös dynamisk lastbalanseringTuresson, Joakim, Ivarsson, Filip January 2021 (has links)
The purpose of this project was to create a gateway between a Z-Wave device and a Bluetooth device. The gateway is supposed to make it possible for the company AES AB to sell and install a dynamic load balancer to their EV charger, even after it’s already been installed. The method that was used during this project was LIPS, where the project where divided into multiple subtargets. Each subtarget then had it’s own test which is shown in the results. The results for the overall project and not just the subtargets, are that a concept solution was created. The concept solution was able to forward the Z-Wave devices values to the Bluetooth device that was the target, but did so using a Raspberry Pi and a Z-Wave stick instead of a Z-Wave transceiver. The conclusion for the bachelor thesis is that the concept solution worked, and the demands of the assignment was fullfilled.

Behandling och bemötande av barn och ungdomar diagnostiserade med ADHD : Med placering på HVB-hem / Behaviour towards and treatment of children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD : In residential careSandqvist, Sandra, Bengtsson, Emmelie January 2021 (has links)
Title: Behaviour towards and treatment of children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD: In residential care. This bachelor thesis studies the tension between an institution focused on a form of residential care of children and adolescents, which is called HVB- home and the opportunity to individualize the treatment and behaviour towards the child or adolescent. The study has especially targeted children and adolescents with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) living in HVB- homes in Sweden. The thesis has a qualitative study design and uses semi structured interviews. Six employees from HVB- homes working directly with the children answered questions and spoke freely to the authors of the study. Five themes were used to analyse the results. The authors explain the results with Michel Foucault power theories and Erving Goffman's "On the Characteristics of Total Institutions". It was found that the education level of the employees affected the care, treatment and behaviour towards children with ADHD. A majority of the interviewees lack a college degree. Employees with lower formal education expressed those colleagues with informal competence were prone to easier fit in the HVB- home environment. Most of the interviewees expressed frustration over Swedish laws, guidelines and rules which only allow treatment of socially unacceptable behaviour and prohibit care and treatment of diagnoses like ADHD. The majority of the interviewees favoured what's best for the group instead of adapting treatment and behaviour towards the individual.

Replika på replikaRenberg, Miranda January 2021 (has links)
I’m interested in the way we stage our identity through objects. How objects relate to identity and body. I have been looking into how the self conception and creation of identity is affected by living in an individualistic, capitalistic and mass medial time. I carry a question, how much of the self is really just a replica of a replica? In this essay I discuss how the consumption of different kinds of media gives us knowledge and experiences of the world that is secondary. I explain how I experience that social media creates a thinking where I’m looking at my self from the outside and that this thinking makes my experiences indirect. I look at the individualization of the society and how I think the individualization affects the way we create collective and individual identities. Furthermore, I discuss how object become signifiers of identity and how we, within the consumer society, consume signs rather than objects. I look at the home, as a keeper of identity and memory, I also resemble the home with an organism where the human body only become a part of a bigger body. I discuss how body and object are intertwined both mentally and physically. Jewellery art and corpus is located between art and utility objects, my field gives me the opportunity to discuss the symbolism of the objects we surround ourselves with. In this essay I give a summary of my thinking around materials, methods and sources of inspiration in my work with Replika på replika. I go through my thinking around padded textile objects, the colour pink, the use of aluminium and how I work with reflection and figurative painting. I connect my work with my thoughts on caricatures, cartoons, pop musicians ways of working with characters and to art within different fields.

Right now I only see opportunities!" A study of fiction in the subject home and consumer studies in teacher education for grades 7-9Edvardsson, Jenny January 2022 (has links)
Kompletterande masteruppsats.

Smart Home Adoption : Diffusion Prospects of the Smart Home and Voice as a Mean of Control in Sweden / Adoption av det smarta hemmet : Diffusionsutsikterna för det smarta hemmet och röststyrning i SverigeGartz, Madeleine, Linderbrandt, Ida January 2019 (has links)
Smart home technology develops at a rapid pace and the smart home of today is only a fraction of what the smart home has the potential to become. The ambition of the smart home is to make the everyday life easier for its residents by increasing comfort, safety, and efficiency. As speech recognition accuracy has increased, voice has become an increasingly popular mean of control within the smart home. Both speech recognition and smart home technology have been listed as important emerging technologies for several years with high expected market growth. However, the adoption is slow and one might wonder whether the technologies are failing to diffuse. Though there is an arena for the technologies to work, and benefits to be utilized, the majority of the Swedish population has not adopted the technologies yet. Why is that? This thesis aimed to determine the diffusion prospects of the smart home controlled by voice by investigating; the current consumer adoption rate of the smart home and the smart home controlled by voice; the consumers’ perceptions of smart home technology and voice as a mean of control; and what adoption barriers might hinder the diffusion. To examine this, a literature review of previously identified adoption barriers was conducted, followed by interviews with both technology experts and consumers with different levels of smart home experience. Based on these, initial hypotheses were extracted on consumer perceptions and adoption barriers of smart home technology. These initial hypotheses were subsequently tested by conducting a survey aimed at Swedish families with dependent children. The survey found the adoption of the smart home to have reached half of the Swedish families with dependent children, while the smart home controlled by voice only has been adopted by one-fifth of the families. The smart home technology was found to have good prospects of continuing the diffusion. However, the perceptions of smart home technology vary between consumer groups, where some groups have more difficulties perceiving a purpose with the technology. Voice was further determined unlikely to be the only mean of control of the future smart home, as voice is not found suitable in all situations. This thesis also identified several adoption barriers and problem areas that might hinder the future adoption of smart home technology. Solving these adoption barriers and problems are crucial to increase the diffusion prospects of the smart home.
