Mokytojų subjektyvaus sveikatos vertinimo, socialinės kompetencijos ir mokyklos baimės sąsajos / Subjective links of teachers' health, social competence and school fear

Tyrime dalyvavo 132 Akmenės rajono mokytojai. (94 gimnazijos mokytojai, 14 pagrindinės mokyklos mokytojų, 16 specialiosios mokyklos mokytojų, 8 muzikos mokyklos mokytojai) Visi tiriamieji - moterys, įgiję aukštąjį išsilavinimą. Tyrimo metodai - metodika socialinei kompetencijai tirti, sudaryta iš 45 teiginių (R. Ullrich ir de R. Muynck Socialinės kompetencijos testas (Vokietija, 1994) adaptavo R.Lekavičienė, 2000). Mokytojų baimės dažnumui ir raiškai nustatyti, naudotas R.Kreitschmann, B.Weidenmann sudarytas klausimynas: „Mokytojų savijautos mokykloje, baimės turinio, dažnumo ir raiškos ypatumų klausimynas“. (1999) Subjektyvios sveikatos būklės vertinimas, pagal PSO su sveikata susijusios gyvenimo kokybės vertinimo klausimai( A.Goštautas, 2001) Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad aukštesnės socialinės kompetencijos mokytojai geriau vertina savo subjektyvią sveikatą ir rečiau patiria mokyklos baimę. Išsiaiškinta, kad dažniau įžeidinėjami ir kritikuojami mokytojai, dažniau jaučia mokyklos baimę. Dauguma mokytojų: informacijos stoką organizacijoje, skubėjimą, administracijos reikalavimus, nepakeliamas užduotis - įvardija svarbiausiais mokyklos baimę keliančiais veiksniais. / The purpose of the study is to analyze the subjective health of teachers, the links between social competence and fear of school. The study included 132 Akmenė district teachers (94 gymnasium teachers, 14 primary school teachers, 16 special school teachers, 8 teachers of music schools). All of the tested subjects were women, having higher education . Research methods: techniques to investigate the social competence, which consists of 45 claims (R. Ullrich, and R. de Muynck, Social competence test (Germany, 1994) adapted by R. Lekavičienė, 2000). For the identification of incidence of fear of educators and fear expressions, a questionnaire compiled by R. Kreitschmann, B. Weidenmann was used: Questionnaire of teachers’ wellbeing at school, fear content, frequency and specifics of expression. (1999). Assessment of subjective health status, according to WHO Quality of life, health-related quality of life (A.Goštautas, 2001) The study results indicate that teachers with higher social competence tend to better evaluate their subjective health and less experience the fear of school. It was found that teachers who are more often abused and criticized, more often feel the fear of school. Most teachers identify the lack of information in the organization, rush, administrative requirements, excruciating tasks as the major school fear factors.

We spend at work about one third of our life. That’s why the profession we have chosen reflects not only our duties, but the style of our life, abilities and talent. The main subject of this research work is the vocational inclination and vocational trend. The economical and political situation in our country is changing very quickly and, of course, it has influenced on the way of life in a family, children including. There are too many orphans in the country, they have no parents, they live in poverty, they are pressed by different situations, at last they get in to children’s homes. The aim of this work is to examine the vocational aptitude of the children living in Foster Homes. The following tasks are discussed: 1. To compare the vocational inclinations of the children living in Foster Homes and the children living at home. 2. To compare vocational inclination and orientation of a personality in test groups. 3. To compare vocational aptitude and inclination of girls and boys. 4. To find the linking between vocational trend, personal orientation & age. After getting the results of the research, we see the children who live in Foster Home take the decisions much more difficult. They are not sure in their decisions, they can’t come to final conclusion. This psychological stress greatly influence on their vocational aptitude.

People psychological health is undoubtedly the question of the day in nowadays society. Factors of ill adults’ psychical health, its relationships, and view to their health condition are analyzed in this work. 70 patients from Rokiškis psychiatry hospital, who have slight psychical disability, have attended in this research. 70 healthy adults, who haven’t treat their selves is same sort institutions, formed auditorial group. All the respondents are 20-55 years old. In our research we used the technique of K. Wallston (1978) – Multidimensional health locus methodology, which is intended to assess the different people views to important problems, which are associated with their health; the result of assigned project was expressed indicators: internality(HLC), chance (CHC), powerful others (PHLC). The health of respondents was evaluated by Ch. Spielberger scale (2000) of anxiety and worry (how they feel now and generally).

Decision Making Characteristic of Older Gymnasium Pupils It was searched in this work decision making peculiarities of older gymnasium pupils. Determinant of professional purposefulness and revealed subjective and objective conditions: sex, age, academic progress, decision making conditions, dominating valuable orientations were investigated. 508 pupils from Utena Adolfas Šapoka Gymnasium were observed using S. Kregždė questionnaire of professional interests and H. J. Eysenck personality test. ( extraversion- intraversion, neurotisme and lie scales ). The aim of the work was investigate decision making of pupils from X, XI, XII forms. This aim was realized solving such tasks: 1. Compare decision making decisive circumstances of pupils from X, XI, XII forms. 2. Compare decision making peculiarities of pupils in different levels of professional purposefulness ( decided and non-decided) groups. 3. Investigate the relation between pupils’ personal characteristics ( extraversion, introversion and neurotisme ) and decision making. 4. Establish the relation between pupils’ academic progress and decision making. 5. Compare decision making peculiarities of pupils from X – XII forms in ladies and lasses groups. Parkinsono liga sergančių psichologiniai ypatumai / Psychological peculiarities of the patiens with Parkinson‘s disease

Psychological peculiarities of the patiens with Parkinson‘s disease Objektives: the aim of this research was to assess and to compare characteristics of quality of life, depression and social support of the patients with Parkinson‘s disease and healthy ones. Methods: using Ferrans and Powers (1985) Quality of Life Index (QLI), wich measures general quality of life (QOL) and four domains – health and funktioning, social and economic, psychological/spiritual and family), Centre for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CES – D), ( Radloff, 1977) and O‘Brien, Wortman, Kessler, Joseph (1993) social support scale was used to interview 60 patients with Parkinson‘s disease (mean age 67,2 years) and 73 healthy people (mean age 67,0 years). The Cronbach alpha coefficient for the QOL Lithuanian version was 0,94, for CES – D scale – 0,87. Results:the research showed that people with Parkinson‘s disease had lower QOL than healthy people (respektively 16,42 and 19,96, t = - 6,393, p = 0,001).Analysis between patients with Parkinson‘s disease and healthy respondents showed that patients with Parkinson‘s disease had in all domains lower QOL than healthy respondents and there were statistically significant differences in all domains (p < 0,05). The most difference in QOL average was found in scale of physical health (14,33 and 19,03 respectively, p < 0,05) proving that people with Parkinson‘s disease experience more serious problems.Research showed that the... Privalomosios pradinės karo tarnybos karių sveikatos kontrolės lokusas ir savęs vertinimas / Soldiers of compulsory military service health locus control and self - evaluation

Master’s theses are carried out at Vilnius Pedagogical University, at the faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology department of Psychological didactics. The investigation is based on K. Wallston’s 1978 methodology of Multidimensional scale of Health locus control and on A. Petrulyte 1985 self evaluation scale. The main purpose of the work is to analysis specific features of health locus control and self - evaluation of soldiers of compulsory military service. In research involvement 239 soldiers of compulsory military service and 240 students of Klaipėda University. The investigation showed that the average of soldiers of compulsory military service and students health locus control index is different. The soldiers and students is rely on HLC ( = 24,80), but there is a tendency that the PHLC ( = 22,20) is higher than CHC ( =20,26). The analysis showed that solders and students CHC negatively and statistically correlates with cognitive self – evaluation (r = -0,119 p = 0,009). Students HLC positively and statistically correlates with emotional self – evaluation (r = 0,130 p = 0,045), students CHC negatively and statistically correlates with cognitive self – evaluation (r = -0,205 p = 0,001). Soldiers of compulsory military service HLC, CHC and PHLC health locus of control did not statistically correlates with cognitive and emotional self – evaluation.

In this master‘s of psychology final work peculiarities and connections between motivation of learning, self-evaluation and success in learning of younger teenagers are discussed. The research work was carried out at Kėdainiai „Ryto“ Secondary School. 161 students took part in the research work, 95 of them the seventh and 66 - the ninth formers. Methodics used in this final work is: subjective self-evaluation scale (A.Petrulytė, 1995). and the test of motivation of teenagers‘ learning (Entwistle N.J.1979,1981,1983 ). To achieve the final goal the following aims were to be carried out: to find the arithmetical mean of motivation of learning and self-evaluation of the whole group of students; to investigate peculiarities of motivation of learning and self-evaluation between boys and girls; to compare the indices of motivation of learning and self-evaluation of the seventh and ninth formers; to define connection between studets‘ self-evaluation, motivation of learning and academical success. With the help of statistical analyses it was established that more students evaluate themselves better than do not evaluate, there is no difference between girls and boys nor the seventh and ninth formers according to self-evaluation and motivation of learning indices. Statistical reliable relation between academical success and motivation of learning and self-evaluation are found. Darbo tikslas - nustatyti 13 – 16 metų paauglių, turinčių mišrių elgesio ir emocinių sutrikimų, internalių ir eksternalių problemų lygį ir įvairovę.
