O imaginário coletivo de cuidadores de idosos na saúde pública: um estudo psicanalítico / The collective imaginary of caretakers of the elderly in public health: a psychoanalytic study

Roberta Elias Manna 06 May 2013 (has links)
The training of caretakers for the elderly in public health must be considered, nowadays, a matter of great importance, in a country in which a considerable part of the population does not have the means to handle expenses that come with aging. This training must include not only specific knowledge on physical care, but also psychological preparation which allows for the creating of a bond strong and healthy enough between caretaker and elderly citizen. In such context, this investigation aims to study empirically the collective imaginary of professional public health caretakers of the elderly regarding older citizens. Conceived and executed using the psychoanalytic method, in all its steps, this research was organized based on an interview with the caretakers, during which the Drawing-Stories with Theme Procedure was used a facilitating resource for emotional communication, in discussing experiences lived, in the institutional daily happenings, in formal and informal situations, together with the elderly, caretakers and the staff, which is constituted by professionals from several backgrounds. The resulting material allowed for the creation of two transferential narratives, from which six affective-emotional or relative unconscious, fields could be created/derived: care-taking ennobles the soul, take care around that old man/woman!, but I\'m trustworthy!, losing autonomy, crippling relationships and will to live(?). The condition of frail elderly citizen impacts emotionally and caretakers are sensitive to the delicate aspects that connect the relationship dimension inherent to taking care of an older person. The six fields created/found indicate, in a sufficiently precise manner, which are the main psychological issues in the training process of caretakers for the elderly: presenting them the dramatic life of a frail elderly citizen and preparing them to deal with the delicate interactions this singular kind of intimacy will certainly bring

Temática, tema e merchandising social em telenovela: memória, recepção, percepção / Social Thematic, Theme and Merchandising in television soap opera: remembering, reception, perception.

Souza, Marcílio Soares de 20 March 2009 (has links)
This thesis consists in a multidisciplinary academic effort to understanding a few aspects related to the dissemination of social issues in specific Brazilian soap opera: remembering, reception and perception. Through an empirical inquiry intended to raise, first and foremost, the viewer\'s remembrances of the Thematic, Theme and Social Merchandising propagated by the soap opera \"Páginas da Vida\", written by Manoel Carlos, for the Rede Globo of Television. In a second moment also the main mediation have to be verify and analyzed, especially the formal educational levels active in the reception of fragments of the social issues promulgated in the soap opera mentioned above. And finally the perception of the some contents was evaluated, which took especially in consideration, the mediation provided by the formal education. In order to do it, groups of the soap opera viewers were interviewed, with each one of the adopted formal educational levels in this research.

Established by the Law number 8.069, this statute provides absolute priority in fulfilling the rights of children and adolescents as Brazilian citizens. When the family bonds, for issues of violence and other rights violations, break or find itself weakened, exposing the child or adolescent to risks or death threat, the subject of vulnerability must be submitted to a host institution. To shelter these individuals, the Social Mother figure was instituted in Brazil by the Law number 7.644, from December 18th, 1987, with the purpose to devote themselves on assisting the homeless children, exercising the role in a social level, within the system of Casa-Lares (House-Home). This study proposal was to capture the collective imaginary of Social Mothers, from a House-Home in the west part of São Paulo state, named W, in order to understand how to think and communicate the experience of motherhood offered to the sheltered. The study sought to conduct a psychoanalytic investigation, using a Drawing Procedure - Story with Theme , played individually, and a Group Therapeutic Interview to the Approach of Collective Personhood , accomplished together. Through the numerous associations found in these drawing-stories , interactive narratives were developed, guided by the assumptions of psychoanalysis, emphasizing Winnicott‟s contributions. It was intended to seize the unconscious psychological fields presented in these graphic and written speeches on the themes "children raised by parents" and "children raised by a Social Mother ", and then observe and discuss the possible reflections on conceptions and beliefs addressed in discourses and practices of these caregivers in their daily work. The interview, conducted right after, constituted as a communication period between researcher-researched, that allowed participants to get in touch with individual matters, raised by the use of PDE-T, with the due care and psychological support to develop these contents. From the interpretation of the material emerged the imaginary fields that address the following subjects: the configuration and operation of the traditional family and the traditional contemporary family; the description of the assumptions of good enough care and the features considered essential for the good enough Social Mother; the need to play the role of an adoptive mother; the beliefs that the institutionalized child and her biological family are problematic and inadequate, against natural and/or biological families, that are synonymous with happy families; idealizations: of the functions and feelings that a Social Mother shall submit, of the lack of negative professional aspects, of the work as a social mother not being a mere job but a mission, and finally, of the clues that reveal the ambivalence of the woman-mother for having to work and leave their own children. In the end, highlighted the importance of the selection, preparation and careful training of caregivers, so that they can understand the psychodynamics, needs and peculiarities of each individual sheltered. It also pointed out the importance of promoting a place of welcome, listening and psychological support to the care professionals in order to provide conditions for dealing with any eventual feelings and problematic aspects related to this function / No Brasil, a proteção a crianças e adolescentes se confirmou com a promulgação do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, em 1990.

A interpretação de orações relativas ambíguas no Português Brasileiro Infantil: um estudo experimental / The interpretation of ambiguous relative clauses in child Brazilian Portuguese: an experimental study

Góes, Iolanda Dias 26 June 2019 (has links)
This dissertation results of a research that has investigated the interpretation of relative clauses with a [+animated] head, as \"the fairy that washed\". These relatives are ambiguous between a theme interpretation (the fairy got washed) and an agent interpretation (the fairy washed someone). The theme interpretation is associated with the absolutive sentence, in which a transitive verb suffers a valence alternation: there is no agent, and consequently, no vP is projected. The verb cannot check the object\'s accusative Case, forcing the theme to move to a pre-verbal position, agreeing with the verb (NEGRÃO; VIOTTI, 2010). The resulting structure is simpler than passives, for example, since the agent is not even implicity expressed in the sentence. The agent interpretation is associated with a structure with the object not expressed phonetically. In experiments eliciting object relative clauses in child Brazilian Portuguese (BrP), children produced absolutive relatives to avoid the structural complexity of the object relative clause (VIVANCO; PIRES, 2012; GROLLA; AUGUSTO, 2016; RANGEL, 2016). Adults rarely produced them, preferring passive relatives instead. Given children\'s high production of absolutive relatives in these experiments, our aim was to investigate children\'s preferences in interpreting ambiguous relative clauses. We hypothesize that the agent interpretation should be preferred, as it enables the parser to assign a gap in the first available position, i.e, the subject position (PHILLIPS, KAZANINA, ABADA, 2005). Since the absolutive relative involve an extra step (the NP theme moves from object to preverbal position: the fairy that _ washed _ ), it should not be the parser\'s preferred analysis. Also, the fact that the ambiguous relatives tested involved a [+animated] NP as the relative head should contribute to this NP will be interpreted as agent (BECKER, 2014). We conducted a truth-value judgment task, in which participants judged object relatives, passive relatives and ambiguous as true or false based on stories told to them. On ambiguous trials, both interpretations were entertained in the stories, with true judgments paired with the theme interpretation and false judgments associated with the agent interpretation. 46 BrP-acquiring children were tested (16 3;6-4;6); (30 5;0-5;11) and 26 adults, native BrP speakers. Contrary to our expectations, children\'s group preferred the theme interpretation. Adults preferred the agent interpretation, although they did not reject theme completely. The high frequency of the theme interpretation in children\'s data leads us to discard the hypothesis that absolutives are just an escape hatch that children resort to when forced to produce more complex structures, as object relatives. The fact that adults also accessed this interpretation brings additional evidence that the absolutive sentences are indeed licit structures in BrP.

Holm, Karin, Sundström, Maria, Murberg, Carolina January 2008 (has links)
Avslutningsvis visar studien att storytelling kan vara ett starkare koncept jämfört med tematisering.</p> / <p>Competition in the hotel industry has increased depending on changes of today’s society and of the needs and wants of the hotel guests. Hotels today should compete with something more than just a good service and pricing, since it has become something ordinary. They need to have something special, something extraordinary to attract customers and add to their competitiveness. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how hotels in Sweden can use themes and stories to build their internal brand. In this study a deductive method has been used and telephone interviews have been made which are declared in the empirics. This has been done to exemplify how the internal brand building process may turn out in story-telling hotels and theme hotels. Our conclusions from this study are that the brand building process may be different depending on how companies build their immaterial brand. The difference is due to other parts of the process may become more important, which we also implicate with our brand building model that you will find in our analysis. The study also shows that it is very important for hotels with a theme and story-telling to be credible, have well informed staffs that are able to mediate the story or theme and to be coherent through the whole concept. If the hotel management has all this in mind while building their brand, it will lead to a memorable experience for the guests. It also helps to build an immaterially strong brand. The conclusion is also that the use of story-telling can be seen stronger than a theme. This study contributes with new information about theme and brands which still is a relatively unresearched area.</p>

Ghazala, Youssef January 2009 (has links)
<p>History has always been a doctrine with several qualities. Control over historical documentation has long served as a power tool for great men, where the victor wrote history as he or she wanted to. But history has never been exclusive to those who hold power - on the contrary, history is a central part of each individual's life, whether it is true or false. It gives an understanding of why the world looks as it does, gives the identity, related and confirms the origin as well as inspire the epic hero tales that are not always completely true. Within school, the Swedish National Agency for Education instructs that:</p><p>The subject aims to stimulate students' curiosity and desire to broaden their world in a time dimension. [...] It also aims to develop critical thinking and an analytical approach as a tool to understand and explain society and people's lifestyles. This enhances the ability to be critical both for the historical sources for the texts and other media in our time.[1]</p><p>Just the question of what is true and invented has always been important to historians, of which the central concept of source criticism. However, the truth has never been the operator of an epic hero story forward - something they often see in Hollywood films and other popular culture where the story adorned and adjusted to best appeal to the audience. That history is the basis for the epic masterpiece, however, nothing that occurred with the birth of Hollywood films. Already during the Middle Ages, the Norwegian King Sverre, who died at the beginning of the 1200's, said that "<em>the</em> <em>lying sagas were the funniest</em>."</p><p>Sverre was not alone in experiencing the untrue tales as the funniest. Previous research argues that the majorities of the school’s students share his view and would prefer popular culture as an alternative of solid historical documentation. The dilemma with this is that school requires that students must develop critical thinking and create a picture of human history that is correct, which in turn requires one to take on reliable sources, who unfortunately are not always perceived as particularly amusing. Popular culture, however, has no requirement to be historically accurate, something that contributes to the creation of historical myths among some pupils.</p><p>This study therefore aims to increase the understanding of how teachers and students relate to historical sources and popular culture that uses a historical background to weave fiction.        The study confirms previous research concerning students 'and teachers' approach to history in terms of historical sources and popular culture, historical links. The study also shows that the difference within students and teachers attitudes in many cases can lead to negative results in which students lose interest of history - as well as some students find the teacher's broad historical knowledge stimulating. Finally, the study shows, based on empirical data collected (with support from previous research) why popular culture with historical themes are relevant to history teaching, and how the same popular culture can be implemented in teaching.</p><p>[1] Translation from Swedish - Skolverkets kursplan för Historia på gymnasiet: (2009-10-03) http://www3.skolverket.se/ki03/front.aspx?sprak=SV&ar=0910&infotyp=8&skolform=21&id=HI&extraId=</p><p> </p> / <p>Historia har alltid varit en lära som besuttit flera kvalitéer.

Jonsson, Zakarias January 2012 (has links)
Denna studie undersöker temat ”hembygden” i Helmer Grundströms tidiga diktning. Sammanfattningsvis kommenteras temat sedan i sinhelhet.

Farneman, Matilda January 2011 (has links)
This is an analysis of how the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet and the English newspapers The Independent and The Guardian reported about the sexual molestation and rape charges that were alleged against the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in August 2010. Through a critical discourse analysis, a theme- and proposition analysis and a process analysis this paper aims to investigate how the above mentioned newspapers create reality in their articles. The purpose is to shed light upon with what means the journalists through the inherited structures of the newspaper illustrate actions and events, how they let other people get visible in the text and who is described as responsible for current events.    The results of the analysis shows that Aftonbladet uses a relatively large amount of propositions and speech cues to create an image of the reality that is almost explicitly angled. Dagens Nyheter and The Independent claims a higher degree of objectivity and through micro themes with different perspectives and few explicit statements they create a reality with plenty of room for the reader to make her own conclusions. The Guardian creates an image of the world where the Wikileaks is a great force of democracy and where actions are performed by humans as well as by objects and organizations.
