[fr] LA FORME DE LA MÉTAPHYSIQUE: SUR L HISTOIRE DANS L OEUVRE DU DERNIER HEIDEGGER / [pt] A FORMA DA METAFÍSICA: SOBRE A HISTÓRIA NA OBRA TARDIA DE HEIDEGGERMARIA MANOELLA BEAKLINI BAFFA 24 March 2006 (has links)
tempo a mostrar
Wilhelm Dilthey.
encontra nessas cartas é a
crítica do Conde Yorck à
o esteticamente
construído, literalmente, o espetacular, são o objeto
historicamente privilegiado da
reflexão - histórica ou filosófica - sobre a história.
Cerca de trinta anos mais tarde, é
Heidegger quem escreve uma carta a Ernst Jünger, dizendo
que em seu livro O
Trabalhador Jünger teria dado à forma um estatuto sagrado.
No intervalo, o projeto
de fundamentar existencialmente a historiografia foi
abandonado e Heidegger passa a
ocidentais. Heidegger
confiará então a Jünger que a forma é potência metafísica.
A tese parte dessas duas
seguida, ela coloca a questão

[en] NIETZSCHENULLS GENEALOGY: REASON AND VIOLENCE / [pt] A GENEALOGIA DE NIETZSCHE: RAZÃO E VIOLÊNCIAANITA TANDETA MATTOS 06 March 2007 (has links)
[pt] Partindo do lugar reservado à interpretação no método
produzidas e preservadas, necessariamente aborda a
violência velada por tais
empreendimentos. Há um excesso de violência no
desenvolvimento da cultura
metafísica, proporcional à quantidade existente de
mecanismos de encobrimento
dessa violência. O esclarecimento genealógico das
violências recusadas indica a
[en] Starting with the examination of the place reserved for
the interpretation in
the Nietzsche´s genealogical method, this work shows that
genealogy, by listening
the silence inherent to cultural productions, necessarely
broaches the violence
covered by such undertakings. There is an excess of
violence in the development
of the metaphysical culture, proportional to the quantity
of existing mechanisms
for concealing this violence. The revelation of these
hidden violences through
genealogical method indicated Nietzsche´s bet on the
expantion of reason, whose
consequences are the reduction of the same violence and
the cration of new
destinies for the discomfort felt by the moral
conciousness.

[en] THE INFINITE JUDGMENTS: THEIR FUNCTION AND THEIR NATURE - SOME ASPECTS OF THE PREDICATIVE NEGATION IN THE CRITIQUE OF PURE REASON / [pt] FUNÇÃO E NATUREZA DOS JUÍZOS INFINITOS: ASPECTOS DA NEGAÇÃO PREDICATIVA NA CRÍTICA DA RAZÃO PURAFABIO FRANCOIS MENDONCA DA FONSECA 03 March 2008 (has links)
O método adotado segue as advertências
dadas pelo próprio Kant e
consiste em localizar algum passo da argumentação
desenvolvida na Dialética
Transcendental onde esta forma judicativa desempenhe um
papel exclusivo e
imprescindível. Duas hipóteses são examinadas. A primeira
solução do nosso
[en] The task of this work is explaining why Kant claims in
Critique of Pure
Reason that infinite judgments of the form S is not-P are
not reducible to the
affirmative ones of the form S is P nor to the negative
ones of the form S is not
P The distinction does not seem justifiable in the
extensional approach that is
proper of General Logic, since the equivalence between
infinite and negative
judgments ends up to be inevitable. We adopt a method that
is suggested by Kant s
advices, which consists in looking for some moment in the
discussion of
Transcendental Dialectic where this form of judgment plays
an exclusive and
indispensable role. Two hypotheses are examined. The first
one is that infinite
judgments have an essential role in the formulation and in
the solution of the First
Antinomy of Pure Reason. The second one is that they have
function in the
formulation of the Principle of Complete Determination,
which is mentioned in
order to explain the Transcendental Ideal of Pure Reason.
Actually, this second
hypothesis will show up as the solution for our problem,
but also will have strong
repercussions at the interpretation of the whole Critique
of Pure Reason, especially
for presupposing an intensional aspect of predication that
generally has been ignored
and sometimes denied by Kantian philosophy s commentators.

[en] PHILOSOPHY OF NATURE AND SCIENCE: A NEW APPROACH AND COMPLEMENTARITY / [pt] FILOSOFIA DA NATUREZA E CIÊNCIA: NOVA PERSPECTIVA E COMPLEMENTARIDADERODOLFO PETRONIO DA COSTA ARAUJO 06 August 2008 (has links)
[en] The main purpose of this enquiry is to provide a
cooperative framework for philosophy and experimental
science. This should be accomplished by means of a
common domain, namely mathematics, specifically through
algebra. Such a coordination between two different levels
of knowledge of the natural world is named philosophy of
nature, and had been proposed by Aristotle in his eight book
Physics. As an outcome of the rise of modern science
between 16th and 17th centuries, this kind of enquiry has
been left aside as a secondary enterprise. For it
has been a common understanding that modern scientific
theories together with experimental methods would suffice
to account for the structure of reality. However, I shall
propose that it is necessary -- as a consequence of edge
research on experimental sciences -- to resume a
complementary enquiry to the scientific
(epistemic) research, in such a coordinated way with this
latter as to provide a
whole knowledge of the natural world. Thus, I shall analyze
the concept of matter
as it is understood by experimental science, and based upon
Jacques Maritain´s
proposed epistemology I shall present some of the
shortcomings of scientific
approach to matter. Shortly afterwards, I shall analyze the
metaphysical
(ontological) status of matter based upon several writings
from Thomas Aquinas,
and I shall propose an algebraic model to represent some of
the ontological
elements that build up matter from a metaphysical point of
view. Lastly, I shall
present some of the consequences that can be obtained from
that model in order to
gain a metaphysical understanding of physical aspects such
as space-time and
movement, quantum non-locality, and also a whole
perspective of physical reality
as proposed by David Bohm which he called holomovement.

O propósito do
[en] According to Schopenhauer, human knowledge does not concern
just about rational think. Reason or, the abstract
representations are products of a kind of comprehension more
primitive: the intuitive representation, that takes its
fundament from will. Will is the central concept to
shopenhauerian metaphysics, end configures the essence to
all individual phenomenon in the world. The objective of
this text are to investigate the relationships between this
two kinds of knowledge and, according to that, to reiterate
the importance of the non-rational elements to the human
being and to an adequate comprehension of the reality.

corpo e mente, unidade e multiplicidade, mesmidade e diferença, configurando uma
outra metafísica nem redutível à metafísica tradicional, nem simplesmente antimetafísica. / [en] Nietzsche and Heidegger determinate the paths that intersect here giving birth to our horizon of questions: Is it possible a thought that resists the temptation of an absolute basis, but also to unbridled fury calculator machination? It is also possible that a thought is put in a position to understand and also to position itself critically in relation to both nostalgic fundamentalisms, and to pure effectiveness and productivity that technoscience imposes on us? It is possible, after all, to distance itself from traditional metaphysics without falling back into naivety anti-metaphysical definitive and safe overcome? Is it still possible to conceive any kind of other metaphysics? From this initial universe of questions we seek to point out that the metaphysics of the will, at least as developed by Nietzsche and psychoanalysis, brings to the fore a dimension strange to the Western metaphysical tradition: the instinctual dimension, this third historically excluded between matter and spirit, body and mind, unity and multiplicity, sameness and difference, setting another metaphysical not reducible to traditional metaphysics, nor simply anti-metaphysical.

[en] THE TESTS OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD IN THE METAPHYSICAL MEDITATIONS OF RENÉ DESCARTES / [pt] AS PROVAS DA EXISTÊNCIA DE DEUS NAS MEDITAÇÕES METAFÍSICAS DE RENÉ DESCARTESJOAO ANDRE FERNANDES DA SILVA 28 April 2005 (has links)
Descartes.
No
Deus. No terceiro e último capítulo, apresentamos a
primeira, a segunda e a
presente no intelecto humano.
[en] The objective of this dissertation was to analyze three
demonstrations of
the existence of God in the Metaphysical Meditations of
René Descartes. It
contains three chapters. In the first one, we deal with
general form of the method
of Descartes, having the intention to show that this method
will be applied to the
Metaphysical Meditations influencing significantly on the
tests of the existence of
God. In the second chapter, where we are already talking
about the Metaphysical
Meditations, we withhold them in the analysis of the
methodical doubt and
cogitation. These two subjects are the basic antecedents
for the tests of the
existence of God, while through the doubt the resource to
the knowledge of
material beings and to the proper Nature is forbidden, and
through the cogitation
is discovered the only possible way to reach the God. In
the third and last chapter,
we present the first one, the second and third test of the
existence of God. In all
these three tests the main question was the application of
beginning of specified
cause to the form of the efficient cause. In the first
test, God is inferred as the
efficient cause of its present idea in the human intellect.
In second, God is proven
as a cause of the proper intellect that has its idea.
Finally, in the last test, God is
conceived as a formal and efficient cause of itself.

[en] GABRIEL MARCEL AND THE DEATH OF GOD / [pt] GABRIEL MARCEL E A MORTE DE DEUSPAULO ALEXANDRE MARCELINO MALAFAIA 22 January 2019 (has links)
[en] The present work sets forth a discussion on the possibility of a religious speech following the death of God. It was in my interest to dig for interpretations concerning Friederich Nietzsche s (1844-1900) statement found in The Gay Science s 125th and 343th aforisms - God is dead! - and to compare them to its echoes in Gabriel Marcel s (1889-1973) works. Upon the interpretative meanings to Nietzsche s statement, I present three fundamental aspects to the murdered God, namely: (a) the metaphysical God, (b) the moral God and (c) the christian God. The Marcelian texts analyzed here point out both the reception and ressignifications of Nietzsche s prediction. In this reception, the notions of drama, situation, concrete universe, transcendence and intersubjectivity deserved a very careful analysis. The latter, based on the I-thou relationship, became a real condition for an opening towards the others as some sort of mystery. From this confrontation, I tried to offer my own synthesis that is neither akin to Nietzscheism or Marcelism. Since the ilegitimacy of religion is not a necessary fact on our days, branded by the experience of this deicide, I strived to rethink it, albeit by non usual aspects and configurations. From that followed a reinterpretation of several aspects, situated between metaphysics and religiosity, as well as between morality and religiosity, which lead to the reflexion on some of the ethical and social-political developments that lie within the discussion.

[en] DISINTERESTED THOUGHT: THE QUESTION FOR AESTHETICS AT THE END OF METAHPHYSICS / [pt] PENSAMENTO DESINTERESSADO: A PERGUNTA PELA ESTÉTICA NO FIM DA METAFÍSICAPEDRO DUARTE DE ANDRADE 27 September 2005 (has links)
acesso do pensamento à
realidade sem recorrer aos parâmetros transcendentes
tradicionais que, embora
garantissem orientação, também submetiam o mundo sensível
a regras prévias
estranhas a ele. No contexto do pensamento moderno, essa
possibilidade ganhou
o belo. Nela, a
Sob a
Schopenhauer e
Nietzsche, além de referências a autores contemporâneos,
explícitas e implícitas,
especialmente Martin Heidegger, Walter Benjamin e Hannah
Arendt. / [en] The objective in this dissertation is to characterize
thought from the requirement
of a consideration of aesthetic, that is, of the sensible
world, in the context of
exhaustion of the Metaphysical understanding that opposed
it to the non-sensible.
In other words, it intends to formulate the question of
the access of thought to
reality without resorting to traditional transcendental
parameters that, while
providing orientation, also subjugated the sensible world
to previous rules alien to
it. In the context of modern thought, this possibility
took form, perhaps for the
first time, in the reflections of Kant on beauty. In it,
the aesthetic experience was
freeed from the cognitives or moral interests that
submitted it to conceptual or
rational constraints. This meant opening the way for a
disinterested approach to
thinking, in which one does not ask the truth about a
thing, but the truth of the
thing. Instead of subordinating the particular to a
previous universal rule,
disinterested thought seeks to find the universality of
that particular in its own
singularity. It needs to find the truth that dwells within
the thing, and does not
stand outside of it. Against the background of this
question, this dissertation
details the interpretation of disinterestedness, that not
only led to the examination
of its position in the thought of Kant, but also in that
of Schopenhauer and
Nietzsche, in addition to the references, explicit and
implicit, to contemporary
authors, especially Martin Heidegger, Walter Benjamin and
Hannah Arendt.
